And my longest hiatus was 6 days?#Did you know I missed posting on 92 days of those 500 days - meaning I posted 82% of the time on a daily basis?#I'm normal about collecting data. I have so much data on this blog for normal reasons. I'm also so normal about art. The normalest.#Honorable mention for the character rankings: Lan Wangji! for “Most improved in rank”.#Sorry Lan Wangji fans but until the audio drama I honestly was...pretty indifferent towards him.#I think a huge part of that was due to the fact he's constantly paired up with WWX; who has *so* much charisma and steals the scene #But I've really come to like him a lot more since starting this project. He rose from mid-tier to being in the top ten!#Dishonorable mention: Nie Huaisang. Who fell out of number 1 spot and out of the top 5.#He just hasn't shown up a lot! And my rankings are fickle! They will probably change once I finish the third season!#My favourite comics are: A lot of them! And the ones I have yet to make!#I'm very sleepy at the moment while writing this but I do want to give a huge shout out to YOU.#Yeah! you reading this! Thank you! This is definitely my favorite runner in book 6

#scott pilgrim #scott pilgrim's finest hour #ramona flowers #knives chau #envy adams #gideon graves #dumb stuff #book 4 is still my favorite in terms of comedy #but book 6 definitely has some gold moments from the expressions to this runner etc #4 and 6 are tied for my faves in the series. 4 i like for the character development and humor and ~roxie <3~#but 6 has the ending which is probably my favorite ending to any series i've ever read or watched. it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside #anyways i reread the entire series in one day because of the anime and my cringe teen hyperfixation phase reawakened like a sleeper agent #i'm riding it out at this point and waiting for it to settle down. or something new and shiny grabs my attention #whichever comes first

"Season three is even stranger and more kind of joyful and anxiety-ridden and beautiful."

I accept this as Jeremy is giving a clue for season 3. We know where Carmy stands with joy. He was trying to find what was fun for him in season 2.

And no- this opportunity for fun- joyfulness doesn't mean a chance to insert Claire here (we tried it already!). Carmy's dark moment of defeat - where he realized he can't have any fun or joy came from failing Sydney and providing for her is where his happiness stems from - he just doesn't know it yet.

Carmy is on to something; what fun could be for him is a relationship and I think even Jeremy has been hinting at that- in a season 1 interview, Jeremy talks about Carmy's character standing out due to his loneliness and in a season 2 interview he talks about the show's theme of connection. That's where the joyfulness for season 3 comes from- connection. Not with Claire but with Sydney. In season 3, the exploration of what is fun for Carmy will continue, and the fun aspect will be explored through a partnership agreement. Sydney is the person Carmy needs to be ready to experience good things with. The teaser is fooling us as Carmy is begrudgingly getting that star- that good thing Sydney now Carmy is pushing for will have Carmy finding and accepting the thing in his life- the good thing.
