Yesterday we had a very eventful Dead by Daylight gaming session. First the Dredge incident #2, and then later on, we caught a David that was hacking. So, that was interesting. It's all fun and games until David King starts teleporting and making dream pallet sounds.

faye chapel: star trek. she's a xenobiologist and the younger sister of canon character, christine. always feels like she's in her successful sister's shadow and that's caused a huge rift between them... made even larger by the fact that faye decided to join the discovery crew when they permanently jumped ~900 years into the future. she struggles with coming to terms with her decision.

elodie tabris: my dao warden. she's fiesty, she's full of guilt. everyone in the party helps her better comes to terms with who she is and what she's fighting for. and ofc she survives. she gets a happy ending with zev, so help me god.

estella hawthorne: my captain from the outer worlds. she's very charming, but also very goofy. she was previously a hacker, so it's still pretty new for her to be a leader and the Face of something. but she discovers she's kinda good at it.

Vent post: A lot people and big companies ruin things I love so much, I'm going write down a lot things down. Call of Duty, Littlebigplant, MCU, Wander Over Yonder, Payday, Evil Dead show, Dead by Daylight, and Scream.

First greedy companies, Activision, Disney, and Spyglass media they have been making horrible products and business moves. Pretty much every single skin in Cod is 20$, Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is just a 70$ DLC! Disney has such great potential to be one of the best story tellers but no they only care about the money. Spyglass killed the Scream franchises in ONE FUCKING DAY! Starbreeze, Overkill, and Deep Silver destroyed beloved series just because they wanted a quick buck.

Companies canceling shows before they can finish their stories. Wander Over Yonder and Evil Dead had which great potential to have the best series ends but they both didn't get enough viewers and they both got canceled.

People ruin the fun of Littlebigplant and Dead by Daylight. A hacker destroyed the two best sandbox games to ever exist just because he thought it was funny. Dbd fandom is so toxic all the time and it so annoying.

I do want to end this with a lighter note, I still love this amazing games, shows, and movies so much. There is still a chance they and can come back and do better. There are still new things coming out I'm very excited for. If some of this things don't come back, we can make new stories for them or based new stories on the things we love. i just had my first dbd game with a hacker ever :/ they were speed hacking (probably other stuff) and being an overall asshole in endgame chat.

everyone got out because I think the killers just gave up once they saw her. If i knew that she was hacking I would've stayed through the collapse to let them get the kill :(

I hope enough of us in that match reported that Sable for her to get banned. Infuriating. The Billy and Trapper were such good sports about it too, when I did offer myself up as a kill (but eventually left because they told me to) they, as already stated, refused.

I just feel so icky about the whole thing. Why can't people just play normally. I suppose I should be used to this as a resident TF2 enjoyer but augh...

Been playing dbd for nearly a year now and just came across my first hacking killer. Playing trickster, was much faster than trickster normally was and knives would down you with just 3 direct hits rather than 6, I've played trickster enough to know that seems odd but originally put it down to maybe perks or add ons I didn't know about, of course come end game (we won somehow) I checked and there were no perks, I will also add on the speed INCREASE when carrying a survivor is what really made me go "yea pretty sure this is a hacker". Honestly didn't think I'd survive against a hacking killer but at least it wasn't as brutal as the ones I've seen videos of, only reason we won was cause I jumped on gens while the others worked together, I think they were a swf but not 100% sure

This is why I primarily play multiplayer games with friends only if possible. I've played DBD for a while. I've only had fun and did okay when I was playing full lobby with only my friends on my team.

When I play Among Us of Goose Goose Duck, it's always with friends. I want to be able to have fun and mess around a little, not worry about hackers or cheaters or whatnot.

DBD TTV users abusing hacks It's gotten to the point of being unplayable with the amount of hackers. TTV and YT creators seem to get a free pass when it comes to abusing exploits and third party software. If you even get close to killing someone with TTV in their name the enemy team will body block you or just straight away disconnect you from the server. Not to mention the clear abuse of speed hacks that is getting so bad even legit content creators are posting endless videos showcasing the constant use of hacks.The game is fun. Lots of the community are great people. But holy cow do the devs need to step in and address this otherwise it's just going to be hackers vs hackers.
