Okay I've had this project open for like. Way too long now and I've hit a brick wall with it but i still would like to share what I have so here's this idea I've been mulling around about the disco skills being court jesters. I only have the psyche skills done but hopefully soon I'll have the inspiration for the others and also fully color these. Enjoy

skill thoughts under the cut!

- Electrochemistry will manifest in various states of loose-spaghetti-ness based on how put together Harry is. When Harry first started going sober, E-Chem was looser-limbed, all splayed tentacles like in its portrait. But the better Harry got, and the more he derived pleasure from things like playing Wirrâl with Kim, or a having a really good morning run, the more E-Chem would show up more put-together, its tentacles wound up in a loose resemblance of musculature. Spaghetti-monster Electrochemistry will make a reappearance if Harry's addiction cravings are acting up, or if he's feeling frisky.

- Perception doesn't have any of the body-parts associated with the five senses (eyes, ears, mouth, nose, fingers). The mist that billows out of the spots where they *would* be is just pure sensation, depending what the specific spot is.

- Empathy is fabric-like! Ngl a lot of its design is dictated by the fact that I'm a huge fan of drawing billowy flowy things, and Empathy is very billowy flowy to me. The lower half of its body looks very unsubstantial but it's actually pretty solid, solid enough to treat like a beanbag if you just need to sit down and get something of your chest. Empathy's pretty much the group Therapy Corner in Harry's head.

- If Rhetoric could unlatch its jaw from its neck stump, it could probably move both halves independently from each other. The front tips forward and the back tips backwards and boom. Rhetoric looks like a tree that's been split down the middle with lightning. I don't know why *that's* what I thought about while I was drawing him, but I couldn't stop thinking it.

Day 9 : Empathy

passed out for a couple of hours and when i woke up this was on my canvas

like I said "I will not explain myself". hope you guys injoy the brainrot on display

if it's not evident, I did not plan this at all

This started more like a sketch for logic to understand how to draw them and then i got bored and I started to doodle the other skills and this is what ended up

I want to learn how to simplify all of them in a cartoony style... it's not really working

these are 100% just for me but whatever

also thinking to draw some of the skills in cool clothing becourse I think that would be awesome

Day 09 - Empathy

My first play through empathy was my signature scale and I maxed it out so I could figure out what’s up with Cuno. Also would probably have a lot of skill points dumped into it irl based on the multiple conversations about what our skills would be that my partner and I’ve had.

[id: 4 digital sketches of harry du bois and skills from disco elysium with their political prompt. first drawing is rhetoric hiding behind a bush wearing the revolutionary hat and the groucho marx sunglasses/moustache combo. it calls out to harry, who is looking over his shoulder, as it says: "Hey, psst… Psst, hey, YOU! the third sketch is harry sitting on the toilet, reading, wearing the hjelmdallerman shirt. rumbling from his stomach is endurance's speech bubble: "It's clear you like the hard stuff, brother."

the last drawing is a mock screenshot of a news anchor booth. empathy, in suit and bowtie holding a stack of paper says: "What's this? We're getting reports of normal, reasonable, temperate political opinions somewhere in Martinaise…." Beside empathy is a picture of harry picking his nose with the caption: "LIVE CENTRIST CAM" undernerath. the newsplash underneath reads: "BREAKING NEWS: GET A LOAD OF THIS GUY." /end id]
