Gory Days es el segundo álbum de estudio del rapero de Brooklyn Necro aka The Sexorcist, lanzado hoy 13 de noviembre de 2001 por Psycho+Logical-Records. En este álbum, Necro enfatiza sus temas liricales en la muerte, en lugar del sexo, como en su álbum de 2005 The Sexorcist. Dos sencillos, "Bury You with Satan" y "Morbid", fueron lanzados en el álbum.

El álbum fue el lanzamiento de ventas más rápido de Necro en ese momento. Los invitados destacados en el álbum incluyen a Mr. Hyde, Goretex, Ill Bill, Captain Carnage y Kid Joe. La pista "Circle of Tyrants" presenta a los cuatro miembros  lo que sería el grupo Circle of Tyrants que nombraron a su grupo por el título de esta colaboración. Los miembros del grupo incluyen a Necro, Mr. Hyde, Goretex y Ill Bill.

El sencillo "Bury You with Satan" se remezcló posteriormente dos veces desde este lanzamiento; una vez en 2003 para Street Villains Vol. 1, con un nuevo verso grabado exclusivamente para el remix, y nuevamente en 2005 para Street Villains Vol. 2. Las canciones, "Dead Body Disposal" y "Poetry in the Streets", se remezclaron posteriormente solo una vez desde este lanzamiento para Street Villains Vol. 1, con un nuevo verso grabado exclusivamente para ambos remixes.

Decided to reread the Batman and Superman get possessed fic because I enjoy it so much. Listening to the Dr's. Fenton get chewed out by the Justice League is so sweet. I can only imagine what's happening down in the lab that resulted in such a commotion. Please tell me it's not another ghost (please tell me it IS a ghost who popped through the portal with perfect comedic timing just as the Fentons were explaining how very secure the portal is being kept.) Poor Flash is going to tear his hair out with how unsafe this whole house I'd. He will personally adopt these kids to get them away from this deathrap of a 'lab' put those papers away Bruce! He will fight you on this!

So you sent this in and I saw it when I was at work and couldn't reply. Then, when I got home, I totally forgot to reply. Story of my life, I need to remember not to open notifications while at work. (This is a life lesson I will absolutely forget within a day.)

How good do you think the Allies are with babies on a scale of 1-10 and why?

ok so

america: 6/10. he cant be left to supervise them but he can entertain them very well. if you leave him in a room full of kids at a party he will occupy them all night. but also he should never be left in his home bcs it is a deathrap for them

england 3/10. he had had many children and they all hate him. terrible father. they will survive under his care but only barely. he does not like them. they smell and are loud.

france 8/10. he likes kids! he has lots of experiences with babies and he doesnt get easily frustrated by them. good dad

china. 6/10. he wont kill them. but. be does not care for them. and probably gets annoyed very quickly and contemplates throwing them off a building. luckily he wont. unlike england maybe

russia. 5/10 he loes babies and kids and taking care of them but he Shouldnt. like hes very nice he jsut had no idea how to keep them safe and . no one told him he has to be gentle so. he . isnt

On land, the eye of the storm is the safest place to be. The winds drop, the clouds are pushed away to reveal clear skies. The rain may even stop.

A shelter.

At sea, the eye of the storm is the most dangerous place to be. The turbulence of the storm causes massive disruptions to the surface of the water, causing massive waves which can easily capsize a ship.

A deathrap.

The Court of Owls are lame Batman villains. If I wanted a 'rich people do shadowy self-serving conspiracy' I'd watch a spy thriller, not read/play/watch superhero media.

The scale is just wrong. Not every Batman villain can go toe-to-toe with the Bat, but they are actually dangerous to him personally in some way- plant poison, fear toxin, deathraps, etc. The Court of Owls...I don't know, Batman could ambush them in the bathroom and stash 'em in a cabin in the woods without much effort. "ooh, but the Talons!" Oh can it, the Talons are just boss level guard goons.

Plus there's just no personal connection there. Batman villains usually develop one, from 'I want to prove I'm better at X' to 'this guy keeps getting in the way of me accomplishing my goals!!!1!' to deeply personal 'I always really hated your guts" to crazy obsession in assorted flavors and forms. The League of Assassins is a shadowy cabal that works because the personal connections with Ra's and Talia and narrow Venn Diagram overlap of goals mean that they are sometimes-allies-but-not-really. They also can hold their own in a fight, of course.

The League is also not incredibly effective unless you look at it from Ra's personal standpoint. Near as I can tell, they have really succeeded at purifying the world (varies what that means, exactly) to any degree. Mostly they are Ra's personality cult. At least they do nominally have some greater if insane goal. The Court, on the other hand, has done nothing but succeed at its goals of holding onto wealth and power to accomplish...holding onto wealth and power...for a long time until the Batfamily stick their noses in.

It's like my mom's issue with Dune. "But why do the Bene Gesserit want to breed a messiah? What do they want to do with him?" Hold onto power forever is the standard answer, I believe. But it's tremendously dull.

"Aha but the Court of Owls is relevant!" Relevance is overrated. When you were in preschool the change of the color of the juice box they handed out at snack time was relevant, but I assume that did not last long for you. "It has something to say about power and wealth!" Does it? Does it really? It's not particularly unique if so; this sort of rich shadowy cabal is a dime a dozen in media. I don't think it has anything unique or interesting to say in a Batman story, unless it's just that the Waynes are heroic for spending generations telling these creeps to screw off when they're invited and pressured to join, I guess.

This is a long way of saying I finally got around to watching the cutscenes of Gotham Knights, after accepting I wouldn't like any of the character designs.

Also, just stop with Lazarus pits. Ra's Al Ghul story lines only, and have them be just...super rare. Rarest thing in the universe, hardly anyone knows about them. Because otherwise why isn't everyone fighting to possess them all the time?

I don't really go outside of my room that much. I'm extremely introverted and only really open up to the people who are closest to me.
