UPDATE: As of 25/04/2025, 4chan is back up and running again. This post and its addendum will be kept as is, and will no longer be updated unless it goes back down again. If you were on /ghost/, it was a pleasure shitposting with you.

All right, I know no one gives a shit, but let me give you a recounting of the fall of 4chan from the perspective of someone who was there and has been lurking both 4chan and tumblr for a few years now.

I'll try to provide as much context as I can, but a lot of images were either lost or im too lazy to look for them in the +5000 reply thread in soyjak party.

Anyways, info below:

So, necessary context: a few years back, 4chan had a board called /qa/, which if you know little about the page, you may think every board is like /b/ or /pol/, which means a containment cess pool of grifters, (you) baiters, incels, and other deranged individuals. The thing is, /qa/ was somehow worse. The entire board was plagued and infested with soyjack edits, board culture was a nuclear disaster, anons were incredibly hostile in there, you know the drill, the big bad 4chan, but this time its actually true.

One day, moderation deleted /qa/, anons that posted there got mad, tried to raid other boards, failed, and then moved on to an altchan called soyjack party, which entire purpose you can guess from its name alone.

Apparently, the boards that allow pdf uploads (paper and origami, for example) didn't check if the uploaded file was actually a pdf file, so postscript files could be used to get access. This is as far as my understanding of web backend goes, sorry.

The hacker claims to have been working on this since 2021, and that he had access since about a year ago, but was recopilating data.

Now, what actually happened when the hack ocurred? Well, a banner of miku dancing with a song that played automatically was placed on top of every board, with the text "/QA/ IS BACK", this was possible because apparently no board was ever deleted, they were just hidden from the public.

A thread was then made on soyjack party, claiming authorship over the hack, and shit went south from there. Anons went en masse to talk there, a lot of weird discussion happened, the thread got the bump limit removed and got pinned, more than 5k posts were amassed on the first night alone. Keep in mind this happened at about 8 pm and most of the stuff went on through midnight.

So, the hacker leaked some things, first of all, the html files for the entirety of /j/ and the email address for every moderation member (important note: the pressence of .gov mails was disproven by the hacker themselves, so i guess there were never any feds), what is /j/? the board exclusive for jannies and moderators to discuss actions taken on the website regarding spam, ban evaders, threads spiraling out of control, etc. Among other things, some of the inner workings of 4chan got revealed, such as the web extension for jannies that allows them to do their job easily, how reports are handled, and other stuff. (Anecdotically, some guy got permabanned for calling anons jews or n-words over a 100 times in the same few threads)

Then, the source code got leaked. Important to say, the hacker removed the part of the source code related to the captcha, as to not facilitate bot attacks on the future, and all information related to email verification or 4chan pass users information also got removed, so all in all users are safe.

What was found on the sourcecode? That it was old, mostly. Most boards used code that hasn't been updated since about 2016, and /flash/ used the exact same code from when it was created back on 2011.

From there, desuarchive, a site that archives threads that die from bump limit, opened a dragon ball general on ghost mode, and thus began what later got called /ghost/, a solely text based thread with well over 20k replies as of right now, where a fraction of the 4chan population took refuge and is currently discussing random things with no particular topic. Kinda hard to read, but its comfy.

What does this mean for other sites? Not a lot, really. A lot of anons already crossposted in 4chan and tumblr already, and the ones that din't most likely wont come here. Some of the bigger/most dedicated groups, like /vt/, migrated to other boards. Various altchans are trying/tried to catch some of the flock of users that got lost, but i doubt it will get anywhere, since soyjak party for example was struggling with just the influx of users that came for the hack thread given its poor infrastructure. Kiwifarms saw a surge of new accounts apparently, but a lot of anons kinda loathe the idea of having to register, so theres that.

Smaller communities, such as generals that didn't get a lot of traffic, or boards on the slower end (say, /ic/, /lit/, etc) will probably vanish or disseminate until (or if) 4chan comes back up. I'd say give it a month, don't get your hopes up whether you want it to stay dead or want it to come back.

Given how many anons are staying on places like /ghost/ or other similar archives with the same ghost posting feature, i doubt it will be as bad as people are making it sound. Besides, the communities that are most likely to migrate to places like tumblr are either /co/, /vg/ or /lgbt/ refugees, which aren't THAT bad. Not every board was like the main cesspools (/b/, /r9k/, /pol/).

From now on, either 4chan comes back up in a few weeks (somewhere between 2 weeks to a month is expected), altchans capture the migrating anons, or a brand new imageboard rises from the ashes to become the new go-to site for old 4chan posters.

In conclusion, nothing ever happens, but also don't worry, chances are this won't affect tumblr in the slightest. If it does, you can cash in your "you were wrong" ticket whenever you want, i'll take the L.

As a footnote, keep in mind: NO users were compromised, if you ever posted there and are worried for your safety, physical or digital, you are safe.

i'm kinda frustrated. i was venting to a white friend about racism, and ever since i did, she pulled away from me. she stated the reason is she feels bad bc she thinks she's complicit by virtue of not being black and benefiting from white privilege, and thus she thinks i deserve better friend than her.

i was just venting. she herself is not racist. the white guilt feels so unnecessary and it hurts that instead of just being there for me, she let her white guilt pull her away from me. it's so excessive. like i guess i get the guilt if it's about her also having unlearned antiblackness and feeling bad for those unlearned stuff, but it's not that. it's purely because she's white that she feels guilty

Your friend is being racist to you.

Your friend might not MEAN to be, she may be well intentioned. But she is. You went to her to vent about your experiences with racism, believing her to be a safe ear. While I can understand that she is uncomfortable, rather than just being honest and saying "hey I'm uncomfortable with this topic and I don't know how to deal with that", she has decided to center her feelings about your experiences with racism. That helps no one, in fact it redirects the weight of the conversation. She just feels bad, and you're still experiencing racism. These two things are not the same.

Now. If it were ME, I wouldn't want to be this person's friend anymore. I need the people close to me to be on the same page; I can't lean on you if I gotta coddle you about oppressing me 😭. If I came to you to tell you I'm struggling with racism, and you made it about your white guilt, I'm not telling you shit else 😅 I see EXACTLY where the line has fallen, the limit of this relationship. But that's me! 🙌🏾

That said! If you want to mend this relationship and put it on a better path, I think you should tell her how you feel.

"If you want me to feel supported, if you want to feel like an active ally and actually do something to counter that guilt over your privilege, here are things you can do." The PDF is in one of my lessons (3, I believe) but I always recommend White Fragility by Robin diAngelo as baby's first confrontation with white guilt. Maybe hand that to her? Because she's not as "unlearned" as y'all think if this is her response. And if she don't take it, well... Balls in her court! You did what you were gone do.

Your phone dings, the woman’s eyes snap to it. Your fingers tighten around your phone, almost protectively. You huff slightly in annoyance, noticing the way the woman’s eyes linger on your legs, right where your skirt ends mid thigh.

“Fine, just let me respond to this.”

Looking down, your heart jolts at the message you’d just received. It’s a single word, and sends shivers of nervousness down your spine.

‘Now.’

Wanda Maximoff was not a woman you wanted to displease. Ever. You'd been on the receiving end of her ire more times than you could count, and although it was always enjoyable, the thought of punishment for disobeying a direct order sent your heart racing.

The woman - Hailey, you remembered now - moved towards you, her heels clacking on the floor as she pulled a chair next to your desk. You had your phone angled away from her, fingers flying across the keyboard as you tried your best to minimize the punishment you'd surely receive for disobeying.

‘I’m sorry, I can’t right now. Hailey is going over procedures with me. I’ll make it up to you later, I promise.’

You flip your phone over again, sure that your face is heating up. Your fingers tremble in your lap as you lace them together tightly. You clear your throat, annoyance building as you raise your eyebrows at her.

Coughing slightly, Hailey pulls out a packet of information and places it in front of you. You flip through the first few pages, groaning internally at the sheer amount of information crammed onto each section. Hailey’s speaking again, her voice high and scratchy. It is nothing like the voice you actually want to hear.

Just as that thought crosses your mind, your phone dings again, but you force yourself to ignore it. Avoiding eye contact with Hailey, you force yourself to flip to the second page as she drones on. You can practically feel the boredom take over you, your eyes drooping as you relax into your seat.

Sneaking a glance at your phone, you see that Wanda has sent another message. Suddenly awake, you open your texts and read, your eyes wide.

‘I thought you wanted to be a good girl?’

Your eyes flick over to Hailey, noticing that she’s now fixating on her laptop, seemingly searching for a specific page in a pdf. You hide your phone between the pages of your packet, typing with one hand while the other nonchalantly rests on the paper.

‘I am a good girl, just busy rn. I’ll see you later.’

Locking your phone, you try to focus. Hailey’s voice is making your ears bleed, and you constantly find your thoughts wandering to a certain person. More specifically, your girlfriend, who just so happened to be the boss of the current company you worked at.

You felt anger rise, your thoughts churning as you glared at her with thinly veiled disgust. You’d actually worked very hard for this job, submitting an application and going through the same interview process as everyone else. Your girlfriend hadn’t actually known that you applied until your resume made its way to her desk along with the other final candidates for the position.

You sigh, unlocking your phone to see that Wanda has sent an image along with a message. No way in hell were you letting Hailey see the potential contents of that message.

“It’s actually our boss.” Your tone is short, your words clipped as you raise a single eyebrow. You pride yourself on mastering your girlfriend’s infamous ‘I’m pissed’ face as Hailey takes in your expression and pales at your words.

“Wait…” Hailey fumbled her words, trying to remedy the situation. “You have Wanda Maximoff’s phone number?”

You smirk, mindful of how long it's taken you to respond. Any second, Wanda would probably come storming down the hall, wondering what on earth was more important than her. “I do, and I should probably respond soon, don’t you think?”

Hailey waves her hands in a flustered ‘go ahead’ gesture as she ducks her head. You give her one last glance, before angling your phone away and opening the message.

First you see the photo, an image of Wanda’s fingers splayed out on her desk, contrasting beautifully against the dark wood, her veiny hands catching your attention. You feel yourself flush, nervous butterflies erupting as you glaze at the long fingers and delicate gold rings adorning them. Then, your eyes flit down to the attached message,

You suck in a deep breath, your heart thudding as Hailey looks over at you, craning her neck to try and see your phone. Shooting her a glare, you jolt when another text pings through.

The rambling explanation you’re fumbling through is interrupted by Wanda, her voice holding a dark edge to it as she asks you, “What did you just call me?”

Anyone who's like woah leaking the patreon stuff is too far be so for real right now. People like me funded Kittycorn while she was being deceptive about the nature of her work behind the scenes. Additionally, Kittycorn is literally associated with at least 3 pedophiles (one of which is pro irl incest and abused their sibling who Kittycorn attempted to silence).

I will never get the time I spent in regards to Sparklecare, nor my money back. Neither will anyone else who was mislead in regards to the kind of person Kittycorn was. Minors were also at a point staff on this comic who had no idea the shit Kittycorn was brewing.

It has been incredibly disappointing to further see Kittycorn go back on what she once presented (see the FAQ in regards to what fans can draw/any ask on the main tumblr in regards to the matter), and to see her further deflect refusing to take accountability. There are a lot of vulnerable people in her audience including other survivors. When a safe space of trust is cultivated with a creator who is straight up talking about how to lie to their audience... How do you think it feels for those survivors who kinned or related to Sly only to find out the creator wanted to make them a creepy incestuous rapist stalker. Or Doom who is now a groomer attracted to their goddamn child. How do you think it feels for those survivors to know the creator they looked up to and sought comfort in the work of is buddy buddy with the exact same kind of people who groomed and traumatized them.

If any of the former ZCP wants to do everyone a favour, leak the entire Sparklecare story (and whatever else). At this point I want everything to be scorched earth and hope nothing grows in its place. I hope Kittycorn leaves and doesn't come back to hurt more people.

I encourage anyone to save any of the stuff I've posted / share the archive link.

To be able to see the conclusion of what people cared about is the very least the fans have have been burned deserve.

How to use the Wayback Machine to get a deleted fic

The easiest way to do it is when you have the url of the fic you’re searching.

If so, you just open the Wayback Machine (url: https://web.archive.org/) and you paste the url in the search bar.

If you’re lucky, copies have been made of this web page and you’ll get a timeline with the days when the copies were made.

From there you can try to click on the link indicating the most recent one, and see if the fic was still available at the time.

Sometimes you’ll encounter an error 404 already, if so try to go further back with the blue arrow at the left of the date you’re watching.

And then, tadaaaa:

From there, you can use the Print to PDF function of your device to save it as a PDF.

How to get the url of the fic I’m looking for ?

The fastest way I found is to Google the title and author.

Most of the time I’ll find a tumblr post with a fic rec or a fic post, with the link to ao3. I’ll follow it and end on the error 404 page on ao3 but from there I can copy the url of the fic to use it on Wayback Machine.

And if I can’t find the link to the fic ?

Then you can try to search with the username of the author.

On ao3 the url page with the works are all like https://archiveofourown.org/users/********/works (******** being the username of the author)

Or you can also try from their user page with http://archiveofourown.org/users/********/ or http://archiveofourown.org/users/********/pseuds/********

Sometimes you’ll get an old copy of their work page and from there you’ll be able to click the fic links.

Some of them will work, some others won’t.

And, unfortunately, if the fic is Mature or Explicit, I haven’t found the way to access it. There is the warning about adult content and even if I click Proceed it doesn’t work, probably because the fic page wasn’t saved from the url with the ‘?view_adult=true’ suffix

tracking down a fresco for fun and profit*

in my ongoing reposting of my entire painting tag, i reached this image:

lovely painting. clear why i reblogged it in 2020. the caption is as follows: "Achille Casanova, The Night (detail), 1894-1897"

whenever i see something described as a detail, i like to look up the full image. for context, and for fun (this is all very fun for me). so i did that here, and found that everything that came up in relation to this image, artist, and title was only this detail specifically. next, i went to the source of the tumblr post, and found that it was a flickr post from a since-deleted user. searching for the artist and title brought me to this instagram post, which mentions the Palazzo Ratta-Pizzardi in Bologna and we were off to the races.

i had a false start in bologna, as i didn't realize that there are multiple palazzo pizzardis in bologna. then naturally i got sidetracked by the Palazzo Rosso, with its gorgeous Zodiac Room.

these frescoes are attributed to Augusto Sezanne, but those in the stairwell are thought to be by our guy Casanova.

anyway, once i got myself into the correct palazzo, i finally found the fresco:

good to know i'm in the right place, but that's not the image i want. (although still a very cool find--it was taken by Pietro Poppi, whose archive dates it to c. 1897, when the frescoes were completed.) i started playing around with various wordings in searches and got myself onto this page, with its very small image of what i was sure was the room with Casanova's frescoes. i plugged it into tineye and got the original, slightly larger version of it:

(important to note that i spent an hour or so trying to access sources from a list i found, hoping there would perhaps be a pdf or even print book with better images in them. and there may be, but none that i could get to from my desk at work.)

i kept at it, and eventually found a pdf about the various pizzardi buildings, including an image of this room with--miracle of miracles--a photographer's name (A. Samaritani). i searched for that, plus bologna, plus fotografia, and found him. poked around on his website and finally FINALLY! i had color photos of the owl bat fresco.

and that's the end of my journey. i didn't find a large image that i could share (aside from the watermarked ones i included here), but that's genuinely a-ok because i had a really good time and also learned a LOT about late 19th/early 20th century italian dec arts, which i didn't even realize was a blind spot for me. over and over, i saw Casanova's frescoes referred to as "Liberty" style, which is soooooo cool because i'd put money on it deriving from Liberty's London. (edit: im right)

Liberty's is a department store which had a very strong British Arts & Craft aesthetic primarily due to the design leadership of Archibald Knox in the 1890s. i doubt that it was known as liberty style at the time--most of the terms we know art movements by were applied decades if not centuries later--but it's still such an interesting connection to me. in part because none of the liberty buildings and frescoes i've looked at today looked particularly "Liberty London." Aesthetic Movement and Art Nouveau, yes, but Knox and Liberty's had a very strong, distinctive style, and Stile Liberty isn't it.

and speaking of distinctive styles--Bologna has one. the specific vernacular of stile liberty for bologna (and the wider emilia-romagna region) is referred to as "Æmilia Ars," taken from the applied arts society founded by Alfonso Rubbiani of the same name (much like William Morris did in England). the society lasted only 5 years, but the textile arm stayed together longer and was present at several decorative arts fairs in the first decade of the 20th century, including the exposition in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

the palazzo ratta is now part of the municipal health network, so while i do think it's possible to visit and see these frescoes, it's primarily a building with a job (local health authority). but i know a lot more about the bats and owls and the context in which they were made now, and maybe you do too.

Hello! This is a blog primarily focused on making animal books (mainly Xenofiction) more accessible to those who can't get them legally (or don't want to support the creators)

I've made two separate drives that contain A LOT of pdfs of said books, such as Warrior Cats, Wings of Fire, Ratha's Creature, Watership Down, Survivors and many more you can see on this list

Why not share the drives here?

Well, the last time I saw someone do that, the links got taken down, so instead I'll be sharing them through DMs!

Also, don't be shy to ask any questions.

There are two drives, the Main Books drive, and the Mature Books drive (which is mostly still a work in progress)

Please, specify if you want access to the mature books drive, and only ask for it if you're 18 years old or older, I will be checking if you have your age/age range in bio, if you don't have it, you can also say you're an adult when asking for it. (It's not a foolproof system, I know, but It's not like I want to ask for personal details)

The main drive has books that range from Family friendly to other series with an age rating of +13 or +15.

(I usually censor slurs before uploading the PDFs, but this time around, because of my own triggers, I haven't checked the contents of them and left the books the same as they were upon release, including slurs) (just because I left them intact, does not mean I agree with the usage of said words in the context of the books, which is why I added warnings for each slur in a document inside the drive) (I've personally censored every slur I've found in the books of the main drive, however)

The mature books drive has animal books that have a lot of content not appropriate for minors, such as animals going into heat cycles, uncensored slurs and a lot of other dark topics (like SA, for example). (Just because there's animal heat scenes doesn't mean that I condone the enjoyment of said scenes, if I see someone claiming to be zoophile wanting access to the drive, they will be blocked on sight) (This is not a safe space for anyone attracted to animals in such ways)

Some gross people have already asked me for the link to the mature drive, if more people like them keep asking for it i WILL DELETE IT.

For reference, this drive has books like Ratha's Creature and One for Sorrow, Two for Joy.

ALL BOOKS IN BOTH DRIVES HAVE A DOCUMENT LISTING ALL TRIGGER AND CONTENT WARNINGS FOR EACH SERIES.

The trigger warnings were sourced from book reviews and pages focused on giving content warnings.

Can I share the link once I have it?

Yes! As long as you don't share it in public internet spaces (comments, public posts, open discord servers with huge amounts of people) it should be fine. I would love to make it public, however I also don't want it to get taken down minutes after sharing, which is why I'm limiting it to private links.

Can I take the PDFs from the drive and use them on my own drive?

Of course! The entire point of this is to make these books more accessible! Take whatever you need from here!

okay, I have to ask — how do you like your kobo ereader??

I’ve been eyeing one for a while bc I really *don’t* want a kindle, but also *so* many people have a kindle that it feels like it’s the only real option

Holy crap I LOVE IT. It's so much better than the Kindle. (Also: this got long)

I decided to upgrade my old Paperwhite (it was a second gen, so pretty old and small) and I almost got a new Paperwhite automatically (cause I felt much the same as you).

But the Kobos were on the same page and since I'm trying to be less impulsive, I started poking around and they are so good.

I went with a black Libra 2 and it's like the software was actually designed for human beings, unlike the Kindle software, which I think was designed for no one except the devil.

I side-load only and keep all my books organised in collections. The only way to do collections on the Kindle is manually, one book at a time, or jailbreak (and I'm not sure you can jailbreak the new Paperwhites, plus it's such a PITA).

On the Kobo, I can build collections from within Calibre, super fast and multiple books at a time. You can also do them manually on the Kobo, but even that is SO MUCH EASIER than on the Kindle.

The actual screen reading experience is basically identical (you can even side-load the Kindle font if you want it), since e-ink is pretty much e-ink, but it has few extra 'while you're reading' tweaks, like setting the all around margin size of the book (great if you switch between books and comics) and controlling the presence of, and info in, the top and bottom bar (pages left in book, pages left in chapter, percentage left to go etc). It also has a brightness and a warmness setting, so you can tweak those til they're just right for you.

I'm loving the physical page turn buttons so much - way easier than having to swipe the screen. I can hold the Kobo in one hand and just page forward with my thumb. It's also a teeny tiny bit lighter than my old Paperwhite.

I also love that you can 'archive' any books you've bought from Kobo, so they don't show up on the e-reader (you can still get them from Kobo later if you want), unlike Amazon where they're always right there unless you delete them forever. Like I said, I side-load everything, I don't want to see the Amazon-displayed copies. I don't want to see the Amazon displayed ANYTHING.

Kobo also doesn't advertise to you. Even in a non ad-supported Kindle, the home page of the new Kindle software shows trending and suggested books. It's bloody advertising. The home page on the Kobo shows you things about your library, with a discrete text invitation at the bottom to find new books or make a wishlist. There is a 'Discover' tab where you can see suggested books and such, but you have to actively go there, which means you're seeing it because you want to see it.

It's very intuitive to use - there's tabs down the bottom that do what they say on the tin and the settings are clear what they do. If it goes to sleep on 'Books' it wakes up on 'Books'. If you have authors sorted by last name it shows them all sorted by last name (this was endless aggravation on the Kindle which seemed to have an 'I do whatever the fuck I like' approach). It displays a cute little 'sleeping' when it's asleep along with the cover of what you're currently reading (you can turn that last one off).

It natively supports a decent assortment of file types: KEPUB, EPUB, EPUB2, EPUB3, PDF, FlePub, MOBI, PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, TIFF, TXT, HTML, RTF, CBZ and CBR.

I cannot recommend the Kobo Libra 2 highly enough. It's the damn bees knees and I wish I'd gotten one years ago. I can't ever see going back to the Kindle.

I also converted my library to kepub, which isn't necessary, but gives you some nifty extra reading features.

To create Collections on your Kobo with Calibre

Decide what Calibre column you want to use for setting your Collections (I use tags, because I don't use it for anything else, but you can also make a new column in Preferences or use one of the others).

Make sure your Kobo is ejected then go to Preferences in the toolbar, locate the Import/export section, then click Sending books to devices.

For Metadata Management, choose Automatic management.

Click Apply.

Remain in Preferences, locate the Advanced section, then click Plugins.

Expand Device Interface.

Scroll down and select either Kobo Touch Extended, or if that's not present, KoboTouch.

Click Customize plugin.

Switch to the Collections, covers & uploads tab.

Checkmark Collections.

For Collections columns, enter the name of the Column you're going to use for Collections.

Checkmark Create collections.

Click OK.

Close Preferences and exit and restart Calibre.

Fancy up your library by putting your books in Collections and when you're done, Send to Device and those collections will be there, all nicely and satisfyingly organised on your Kobo.

Once again I'm back from the dead after two weeks of forgetting to post anything. I swear the ADHD will not allow me to do anything on a weekly schedule!

I've been building a PDF to help showcase my work. I'm forever intimidated by my website- I'll happily design someone else's but doing my own is always excruciating. I also get frustrated that every application for freelance work specifies different criteria/work examples they want to see, meaning I have to edit my site or make a new page every time. I am much more confident designing for print, so making a PDF portfolio is a lot more satisfying and I like the control I have over it. The plan is to make a master file for every aspect of my work, then I can duplicate it to delete or edit pages to suit different criteria before sending to potential clients.

It's almost complete, so now I'm glazing each page (all 31 of them because fuck ai scraping my work) and then I'll be uploading bits of it to my social media and website.

Fitz and Fool doodles

Not exactly a specific work in progress, but I am in the midst of reading Fool's Fate and the only way I can cope with the anguish is by doodling cosy pics of my favourite boys (particularly when they are not quarrelling or in mortal peril). Eventually, I hope to work up one of my doodles into a bigger piece on Procreate, but currently I have so many ideas I just need to get them all down in my sketchbook first.

once upon a time, over 10 years ago, just a few months after the announcement that Motorcity was officially canceled...the creators of the show took pity on their heartbroken fandom and gave us several glimpses of what season 2 might have been like. they saw how much we loved Motorcity and gave us every scrap of info they could at the time, so that we could use those scraps to imagine our own personal "Season 2" - whether it continue on in our fics, our fanart, or simply our own heads.

Capri Chilton - Mike Chilton's long lost big sister! I can't remember where or when it was first revealed that they were considering giving Mike a secret older sister, and I haven't been able to track down the origin. that being said, when it was revealed, the fandom loved the idea so much that they begged the creators to make it canon. Chris P busted out the "magical canon stick", gave us this delightful concept sketch, and "Capri Chilton" was born!

The Motorcity Series Bible "To help you all understand what it is you are reading, this is the material that Titmouse used to help pitch Motorcity, and it was also a tool for writers to use when coming up with episodes to help understand who the characters were before there was any other reference. That being said, this was one of the very first documents about Motorcity, so many things have changed or evolved from these early concepts." (x)

MTV Era Motorcity Masterpost a fantastic collection of glimpses into the original pilot/pitch trailer that would evolve into the show we know and love today, found and compiled by @waksworldrebooted. Motorcity Unaired Pilot - 2009 Disney Version Originally aired during Comic Con 2012, the pilot was recorded and then posted on YouTube by Allison Simmons in July of 2012, later being privatized in 2022. The video was re uploaded onto VKVideo 22 days after its original posting to YouTube and is still currently available to watch online. (x)
