Musical Curtis brothers hcs
Darry:
-Felt insecure and jealous of Dally because of his closeness to Pony and it got worse after Pony leaves and Dally says that thing of seeing Pony more than Darry has.
-Like Ponyboy he blames himself for their parents' death because of it being his birthday and they were going for the frosting for his cake.
-Post musical whenever things get too much he goes to Soda and he cries but will quickly stop and hide it when he hears Ponyboy nearby (he doesn't want Pony to see him break)
-Despite that when they reunited in the hospital after the fire just like in the movie he did cry when going to hug Ponyboy.
-He does go easier on Ponyboy about his daydreams/emotions and his grades after reading the story because he saw how Ponyboy viewed him.
-Even though he is only 6yrs older than Ponyboy the role of brother is starting to fade into father ("stuck between the role of a brother and a father")
-Tucks in the boys each night but after they're already sleeping totally not based off of Melody's live.
-Whenever he misses his parents he sleeps in their room instead of his own.
-Used to care what his hair would look like now it's a miracle if he even takes time to brush it.
-On his days off instead of relaxing he still tries to keep working (washing dishes/laundry/cleaning random parts of the house) until Soda has to force him to just sit down and rest.
-Still tries to play football whenever he can but waits for someone to suggest it first (it's Soda who does it because he knows Darry wants to play).
-When Soda has a long day at work or Pony has a test coming up Darry tries to make their favorite food for dinner.
Soda:
-He has his own room but still sleeps with Pony because of the nightmares (pretty sure this is canon but I don't remember for sure).
-Tried to read Great Expectations for Ponyboy when he and Johnny were gone because he missed Pony.
-He, Ace, and Steve are the most chaotic trio when they're together. (sometimes he catches Melvin the soc staring at Ace and finds it hilarious) Inspired by Melody's tiktok of Melvin looking for Ace's digits
-He folds all the laundry when he sees Darry has had a hard day at work and even offers to cook.
-Was allowed to cook once nearly set the kitchen on fire and was never allowed to cook again.
-He really did try in school just couldn't do it no matter how hard he tried so when Steve told him there was the full time position open at the DX that was his reason/excuse to drop out.
-During the 2 weeks that Pony was disassociating Soda was terrified of losing both Pony and Darry (because of throwing in the towel) to the point that he wouldn't sleep some nights which is what also leads to him eventually snapping.
-Would sleep in Darry's room on the nights Darry would fall asleep by the telephone so he would feel at least one brother close by.
-Watched the cartoon's Darry mentioned in throwing in the towel to keep himself from worrying too much but it never worked.
Ponyboy:
-Kept both Dally and Johnny's jackets and wears them when he misses them but never actually lasts long with them on because he starts crying.
-Panics if multiple people accidentally touch him because he gets flashbacks to being grabbed and almost drowned.
-Which he now also has a fear of being in water too long.
-The first night after the church burning he asked both Darry and Soda if they can share the bed with him because he missed them.
-Sometimes dreams of the house with the garden he wanted with Johnny after his death and he wakes up screaming and sobbing because he knows now all it will ever be is a dream.
-Tries to quit smoking because he genuinely believes he caused the fire that killed Johnny and eventually Dally.
-Used to be ashamed of his name and would get bullied for it until Johnny would tell him how original it was.
-Still believes death's at his door but he tells both his brothers of it and how he's been feeling so it's getting further and he's slowly trying to get better.
Now for all 3 brothers (I only have 2 tbh):
-Their train related trauma isn't lessening especially after Dally.
-When nights get bad for them they have a sleepover in the living room and watch cartoons.

Bi-Han Breakdown: because I think he deserves it. And unfortunately, he's receiving a lot of hate for no sane reason
Bi-Han is not a saint, but clearly complex and misunderstood. I hope this post can help you to understand his character and alignment in MK1 better.
1° HE LET HIS FATHER DIE, HE IS EVIL!
Bi-Han letting his father die is the main reason that make people think he is evil, but let's think about it...
Bi-Han let his father die, he didn't kill his father in cold blood and Liu Kang knew about it! Why he kept Bi-Han close, had high hopes for him (his words) and still wants him back if he is so evil?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Liu kang: Come in from the cold, Bi-Han. ("Come in from the cold" Definition & Meaning: to become part of a group or of normal society again after one has been outside it.)
Bi-Han: And again kneel before you?
Tumblr media
Liu kang to Scorpion (about Bi-Han): I had such high hopes for your brother.
Tumblr media
Scorpion to Geras: I want to see the moment my father died. (so yeah, Liu Kang knows how Bi- han/Tomas/Kuai Liang's father died. And he doesn't blame Bi-Han for his death)
Besides, who said his father couldn't have done the same thing with Bi-han's mother, since she was also a warrior who followed Liu Kang and letting someone die is not a big deal for Lord Liu Kang...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tomas: Did you intend for me to be orphaned?
Liu Kang: Some threads must be cut to weave time's fabric. (Translation: YES, I DID. WHAT YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?)
Why doesn't he resent his mother for following Liu Kang like he does with his father? Why does he genuinely believes that she would be pround of his actions?
Tumblr media
Tomas: If mother were alive...
Bi-Han: She would applaud my actions.
C'mon, look at his eyes! You can see the pain in them:
Tumblr media
Bi-Han to Kitana: Your mother's death is regrettable.
He never shows remorse for anything, but he's truly sorry for Sindel's death, because he wasn't there to help them defeats Shang Tsung's god counterpart and maybe prevent her death. He truly admired Sindel. Also, Sindel was a mother. And he loves his mother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bi-Han to Sindel: You wield the power that I aspire to.
Bi-Han to Sindel: I don't want your throne. Just part of Earthrealm.
He only despise his father and Liu Kang's authority...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bi-Han to Liu Kang: My father was a fool to follow you.
Kenshi to Bi-Han: Why do you so resent Liu Kang's authority?
He keep saying to everyone:
Father was a fool, lacked vision, never saw the Lin Kuei's potential etc. Then, you can say BUT HE NEVER SAID HIS FATHER WAS EVIL...
True. But who knows? He doesn't see himself as evil for not trying to save his father (nor Liu Kang, a GOD.) when he had the chance, but a lot of people thinks he is evil for it. And his father was a man of many secrets...
Tumblr media
That demon who thinks it's cool kill "evil creatures" whithin her parameters to get what she wants "a pure form/soul": There are many in the Netherrealm (hell) just like you.
Bi-Han: You conflate ambition with evil, Ashrah.
Tumblr media
Bi-Han to himself: Our father was a man of many secrets.
HE IS MEAN TO TOMAS AND TRIED TO KILL HIM, HE IS EVIL!
I truly love Tomas, but Bi-Han not accepting him as a brother in front of him, doesn't make him evil. Tomas's family was murdered by Lin Kuei's warriors in front of him and the grandmaster (Bi-Han's father) took him in to make of that broken child a powerful warrior who could also kill! In Bi-Han's eyes, Tomas was always a potential threat to the clan and he state it in his face:
Tumblr media
Bi-Han to Tomas: Your treachery does not surprise me.
But despite everything, he also, multiple times, recognize Tomas as a worthy fellow Lin Kuei and even as his brother:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at how proud Tomas seems to be 🥺
How could Bi-Han think about harm Tomas when everything happened so fast?! He couldn't even see where Tomas was, he rushed to check where he was and not even looked at the ground to purposely kick a rock on him:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Liu Kang: Your brothers regret losing your fellowship.
Bi-Han: Then they shouldn't have disobeyed my commands.
He clearly recognize Tomas as his youngest brother, just not in front of him. You ask me why he doesn't do the same in front of Tomas? Firstly, he always had a foot out the door in his relationship with Tomas because of his background (TOMAS'S BIOLOGICAL FAMILY WAS MURDERED BY HIS CLAN); Secondly, Tomas was supporting all that Kuai Liang's mourning for their father's death and Bi-Han was clearly fed up and lost it. You can even see how surprised Tomas was:
Tumblr media
He clearly wasn't expecting to hear him talk like that.
And we can't forget that Bi-Han was Tomas's idol before his betrayal. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't idolize and really miss someone who is constantly mean to me, so yes, I don't believe that Bi-Han was constantly an asshole to Tomas, just cold how his own statement:
Tumblr media
Tomas: You've always been cold to me.
Bi-Han: Because your blood is not Lin Kuei.
And after defeating Nitara and Ermac the first thing that comes to his mind is the physical integrity of his brothers. He checked BOTH of them:
HE TRIED TO KILL KUAI LIANG, HE IS EVIL!
We must have been watching different things, because there's no way that the GRANDMASTER of an ancient warrior clan, who can easily kill and is trained for it since childhood, would miss this chance if killing his brother was his true intention:
They trained since childhood, Tomas not even tried to separate them...
You ask why? Because he is used to it! They trained since childhood, they fight against each other since childhood too.
He only shows up to check Kuai Liang when he worries that Bi-Han could have blinded him, that is, gone too far.
And he quickly goes back behind the scene when he sees it was just a scratch:
Tumblr media
End this, brother! Embrace the future!
He wasn't trying to kill him (look how he deliberately made this blow go soft here), he was trying to PUNISH him for disobey. And then, I ask you, with whom do you think he learned to do that?
And after this blow, he was holding back so much that he lost to him
HE BETRAYED HIS BROTHERS! HE IS EVIL!
They feel betrayed by him, Bi-Han also feel betrayed by them, but Bi-Han actually betrayed earthrealm and more than once offered them the chance to join him, which they refused because they just want to defend earthrealm not govern it. Which hurts Bi-Han so much, since the entire clan and his best friends (Cyrax and Sektor) believe in his vision, make the clan great again (lol, I mean, achieve greatness, bring glory and respect to his clan etc), but his brothers don't:
Tumblr media
Kuai Liang to Tomas: You forget Cyrax and Sektor. Their loyalty to Bi-Han is absolute.
Tomas to Kuai Liang: That the Lin Kuei won't aid us is unforgivable. Bi-Han has corrupted them totally.
His only wrongdoing was trust in Shang Tsung and Shao. They fooled him with false promises. And he already regrets having believed in them:
Tumblr media
Bi-Han: I was wrong to trust you.
Shao: Yes, Earthrealmer. You were.
Tumblr media
Shang Tsung: You have been cold to my entreaties.
Bi-Han: Because you proved you can't be trusted.
Tumblr media
Havik: We were both played for fools.
Bi-Han: Shang Tsung and Quan Chi will pay.
But, unfortunately he has been hunted for helping Shao break out of prison and they are calling him a traitor for it, nothing more:
Tumblr media
Sindel: With one act you betrayed two realms.
Bi-Han: Neither deserved my loyalty.
Tumblr media
Bi-Han: I helped you, but I've earned no respect.
Shao: Because there's nothing lower than a traitor.
Bi-Han: You would still be in prison, were it not for me!
Tumblr media
Raiden: I never thought you would betray Earthrealm.
Bi-Han: My only loyalty is to the Lin Kuei.

I've ruminated a lot about how Joowon doesn't process social cues as a normal person would, for reasons that may be due to his nature or to his upbringing: he's read as someone who's either neurodivergent / autistic, or a survivor of childhood trauma with CPTSD—or quite possibly both.
I realize this because with both Dongsik and Hyeok, Joowon completely misunderstood what the two of them were trying to tell him—that both of them were just trying to protect him, each in their own way.
In Busan, Hyeok told Joowon this:
"Joowon-ah. A good boy like you who learned everything from books and believes the world is just and fair shouldn't get involved with a nutcase like Lee Dongsik. He'll make use of you in every single way, and nothing will go your way. You struggle, and you put up a fight. Then he ends up devouring you. And like that, the end. "It's okay, Joowon-ah. We can't help it. How can you, who had a privileged life, win against a guy who had to tough it out on the streets? You could never win unless you were reborn. That's why I, who also lived a tough life will do everything I can to— "Just leave everything to me."
What Hyeok has been trying to tell Joowon here is that he, as Joowon's hyung, his surrogate older brother, will be the one to do all the dirty work in Joowon's stead, because Joowon couldn't possibly understand what it's like due to the privileged life he leads.
Joowon, however, interprets it as a dare.
'You have to be reborn. You have to be exactly like Dongsik.'
And that's exactly what he did: he followed Hyeok's advice according to his own interpretation of what Hyeok told him. (He even thanked Hyeok for it, which meant he clearly understood it as advice but with an entirely different interpretation.)
It's why post-Episode 8, I don't look at Joowon as a "worse" version of himself, but I see him as doing his best to be Dongsik 2.0. After all, that's whom Hyeok told him to be like.
He did exactly what Dongsik did with Minjeong's fingers and Lee Geumhwa's burner phone: he planted his own evidence so that the police would take notice. Dongsik himself has figured this out, even if he didn't know or understand why Joowon suddenly chose to follow his lead.
What Joowon did in planting Yoon Mihye's death certificate and the fishing line used in Kang Jinmook's suicide in Nam Sangbae's vault is the same tactical strategy Dongsik did.
Dongsik knew that even if he did call to report on his discovery of Minjeong's fingers in the Kang basement, all it would lead to is a possible indictment of Minjeong's mutilation, but not necessarily her disappearance and death (since he has no evidence to support otherwise). Dongsik would have no way of proving that Jinmook killed her—or all the other women whose bodies still haven't been found, including his own sister.
Similarly, Joowon planted the fake "evidence" in Nam Sangbae's vault because he has no way of reporting that Sangbae has been stalking Jaeyi in Busan without endangering her (because at this point he has no clear idea what Sangbae's intentions are in tailing her); while at the same time he has no other way of trying to find out Jaeyi's intentions without alerting Sangbae to her whereabouts, which is exactly why he also blackmailed her with the dashboard camera footage.
Joowon, with his intellect, used these strategies knowing that neither Sangbae nor Jaeyi will be indicted for it. He knowingly planted the evidence because he knew that with the video footage of multiple people going into Sangbae's office, Sangbae won't be indicted for it. He knew that Sangbae would still be safe and will very likely be released. And he knew that Jaeyi won't be indicted either, despite the dashcam footage, if it's true that she had nothing to do with Jinmook's death.
Joowon is smart, and he isn't cruel. In both Jaeyi's and Sangbae's cases, he knew that the evidences he "manufactured" won't be enough to indict them. He just did all these to push things forward and set the ball rolling for the police to take notice—exactly like Dongsik did with Kang Minjeong's fingers and Lee Geumhwa's phone.
And exactly what Hyeok, in Joowon's understanding, told him to do.
Similarly, during the meal Joowon shared with Dongsik after Joowon confessed his father's crimes, Dongsik told Joowon this:
"About that recording, I saved the file using different methods. So that if you get out of my sight, I can spread it right away."
What Dongsik meant about this is that he was worried for Joowon's safety, especially because what Joowon just vowed to do—bring his own father down—would likely bring Joowon into the line of fire too.
But Dongsik never wanted that. Which is why what he meant by threatening to expose the file if Joowon disappears is that he actually would be willing to give up the chance to indict Han Kihwan for his sister's murder if it meant Joowon would be safe. If it meant, in releasing the illegally recorded evidence, that Joowon can come back to him safe and sound.
This actually speaks volumes about how Dongsik has come to truly care for Joowon because he is, in essence, going against everything he has ever said to Lee Sangyeob, once upon a time: No citizen shall be placed in double jeopardy.
Dongsik knew that in releasing the illegally recorded file, without the pertinent evidence to back it up, would erase the chance for Han Kihwan to be indicted if he's released due to lack of evidence. Yet despite fighting all his life to find his sister's murderer, he's actually willing to forego the chance to finally indict Han Kihwan if it meant Joowon would be safe.
(It's partly the reason too why he refused to hand over the recording to Jihwa when she asked for it, because Dongsik has to make sure he has that ace up his sleeve so that if necessary, he can also protect Joowon with it.)
Joowon, however, once again interpreted it wrongly. It's because he's the son of the murderer of Dongsik's sister, because he had just vowed to bring his own father down, and because of his own rigid moral compass that he holds everyone up to, including himself—
It absolutely does not compute in Joowon's mind that Dongsik would be doing this for his safety—that Dongsik was worried for him.
Instead, he hears it for the threat he believes it is: If you disappear and don't follow through with your promise to bring Han Kihwan to justice, I will release this recording even if it meant it will destroy your life too.
And it's not even that Joowon cares about ruining his own life—he makes it very clear that he doesn't—but that he's determined to prove to Dongsik that his vow wasn't an empty one and that he would see through it no matter what.
Which is again, exactly what Joowon proves, over and over again, until the end when Joowon, while calmly aiming a gun at his own father, asks Dongsik himself to finally handcuff Han Kihwan after 21 long years.
What I'm trying to say in pointing out both scenarios with Hyeok and Dongsik is: Joowon listens. He actually follows what is said to him, especially by people whom he has a great deal of respect and care for.
He just couldn't interpret any of it as people caring for him, because he grew up in an environment where people didn't care for him, where the very people who should have cared for him the most either sent him away (his father) or abandoned him (his mother).
(Hyeok, the only one who has ever stayed, was initially paid to be there. It had never occurred to Joowon that Hyeok would eventually still choose to stay for him.)
The idea that someone worries about him is unknown to him, heartbreakingly so, which is why he couldn't interpret it that way.
And I think, if we keep this in mind when we reevaluate his actions again when we (inevitably) watch the show again, it'll go a long way in understanding Joowon a little more than just being the two-dimensional arrogant little prick that he was initially set up to be.
He is so, so much more than that.

Of Mates and Men by bananaheathen / @bananaheathen (630k)
In which, Louis and Harry meet as best men for their best friends' wedding... well... sort of.
Or, the one where Harry's just moved back from New York and Louis doesn't believe in romance.
Or, I guess... the one where Zayn and Liam are getting married.
Hiding Place by orphan_account (365k)
Louis never wanted a soulmate, didn’t really care for the whole Bonding thing at all, really. Enter Harry Styles, who’s wanted to be Bonded for as long as he could remember. With one fateful meeting in an X Factor bathroom, Louis gets a dagger on his arm and the realization that just because Harry is his soulmate doesn’t mean it’s mutual.
From the X Factor house to Madison Square Garden, from the Fountain Studios stage to stadiums across the world, Louis has to learn to love without losing himself completely, because someday his best friend will Bond to someone and replace Louis as the center of his universe. Meanwhile, Harry begins to think that maybe fate doesn’t actually know what it’s doing after all, because his other half has clearly been right in front of him the whole time. All he has to do now is convince Louis to give them a chance.
Or, the canon compliant Harry and Louis love story from the very beginning, where the only difference is that the love between them is literally written on their skin, and there’s only so much they can hide.
You Can Hear It In The Silence by imogenelee / @imogenleefic (234k)
When Harry Styles was accepted into a post-grad degree, he knew he could no longer afford his flat, leaving him with three options: 1) Move back into student halls. 2) Become homeless. 3) Move in with his best (and only) friend, Niall, and three of Niall's other mates. He went with the third option. But it was a close race. Shame one of his roommates reminded him why he only has one friend. If there is one thing Louis Tomlinson can't stand, it's pretentious tossers, having grown up around enough of them. If there is one thing he can't live without, it would be his friends. So he was proper thrilled to move in with his best mates and a couple of other lads. That was until he discovered one of them was the archetype for a pretentious tosser.
In the interest of seeing out the twelve-month lease without killing each other, they both try (debatable) to get along despite believing they are opposite in almost every conceivable way, each having the communication skills of a cucumber, and secrets that have no business be kept secret.
One More Time Again by orphan_account (232k)
Harry looks down to where Louis is cradling his hand between his own. Louis' hands are slender, the bones delicate, the nails bitten short. The 2-8 on the backs of his fingers is gone, but the faded scar from a skateboarding mishap in Year 7 is still there.
Harry's hand is awkward, knobby-boned and naked, no rings, no tattoos. It's too big for his wrist and his wrist too big for his arm. Yet it still somehow fits in Louis' in the painfully perfect way it always did.
He blinks back the sting in his eyes.
On the morning of his second sold-out performance at Madison Square Garden, Harry wakes up to find that he's sixteen years old, on The X Factor, and that he has a chance to make things right.
A canon-compliant fix-it fic (sort of).
Stranger Stars by shaylea (212k)
Five years ago, Africa offered a grieving Louis Tomlinson an escape from an England he couldn't tolerate. Now it's become home as he leads overland tours across the continent with his best friend and driver Zayn Malik. What's meant to be just another ordinary six-week trip from Cape Town to Nairobi turns into anything but, when future lawyer/current photographer and songwriter Harry Styles and his friends join Louis' latest set of passengers.
Given A Chance by fabby / @fabby1d (173k)
Five years after One Direction took their last tour, the last thing Louis Tomlinson ever expected to happen while on a tea run at the local Piggly Wiggly was to run into his ex-boyfriend and ex-bandmate Harry Styles.
The odds of them ever running into each other again had to be super slim, right?
Wrong.
What happens when you mix ex-boyfriends with a large serving of Small Town America? Will Louis and Harry be able to set aside their differences, or will Louis be able to stay breezy as fuck in the wake of Harry’s arrival?
(or, the one where Louis and Harry run into each other five years after One Direction ends and learn how to love each other again. Featuring: Reggie as the overweight labrador, Niall as Louis’ last grip on reality, and Nowheresville, North Carolina as the setting for Louis’ worst nightmare to come true.)
The Wonderlands by stylinsoncity /  @aliensingucci (150k)
"Somewhere between chaos and control — these are the wonderlands."
Harry's daughter, Andy, is signed to Louis' girl band. Her path to success is marked by competition, chaos, and for Harry, a love affair.
As You Are by Zarah5 (139k)
AU. Five years after The X Factor launched his career as a radio host and songwriter, Louis Tomlinson returns as a judge. Falling for a contestant is the last thing he needs. It's also against his contract.
The only reason Harry auditions for The X Factor is because his best mate signed the two of them up as some kind of joke. Harry doesn't get the big deal—not until he's faced with this season's judges and realises that one of them used to be his desperate, impossible teenage crush.
Unbelievers by isthatyoularry / @isthatyoularry (136k)
It’s Louis’ senior year, and he’s dead set on doing it right. However, along with his pair of cleats, a healthy dose of sarcasm and his ridiculous best friend, he’s also got a complicated family, a terrifyingly uncertain future, and a mortal enemy making his life just that much worse. Mortal enemies “with benefits” was not exactly the plan.
Or: The one where Louis and Harry definitely aren’t friends, and football is everything.
Empty Skies  by green_feelings / @greenfeelings (134k)
For three years, Harry has been running from his past. Now, he is moving to London and pledges to fulfil his only dream – making it big in the music industry. Not everyone has a place, though, and the competition is tough. As is his past catching up on him.Louis is part of the biggest boy band of the world, and getting there had meant a lot of hard work, as well as sacrificing parts of his heart and soul. He’s still happy. Maybe not as happy as he could be, but who is he to complain?
Let's Fall in Love in a Place You Want to Stay by embro (134k)
A George of the Jungle / Tarzan AU where Louis is a model who meets Wild Man Harry in the Congo. He was raised by apes and barely speaks a word of English and turns Louis' life upside down.
Love Is A Rebellious Bird by 100percentsassy, Gloria_Andrews / @gloriaandrews (134k)
AU in which the boys still make music. Louis is the concertmaster of the London Symphony Orchestra, Harry is the New! and Exciting! interim conductor/ex-cello prodigy who "has made Mozart cool again" according to Esquire Magazine (Louis hates him immediately, which is definitely why he internet stalked him in his dark bedroom late at night that one time), and Niall is the best. Zayn and Liam are around too.
Don't hum Bolero.
Wild Love bypurpledaisy / @harrydaisy (130k)
“Good,” Julia says, clearly pleased to have them both uncomfortable and unable to look at each other. “Now, I only have one more question before you can go. What are you planning to do when this experiment ruins your friendship?”
“We said we’d stay friends no matter what,” Harry says smoothly, his chin lifting in defense.
“That was our one thing going into it,” Louis agrees. “Stay friends no matter what.”
Julia raises a perfectly manicured brow, “That’s all fine and good. But I hope you realize your emotions aren’t going to realize this is an experiment in the end. If one of you falls for the other and finds out those feelings are not reciprocated, you’re not going to be able to laugh it off as a social experiment. I’m not saying you shouldn’t do this, I’m just hoping you’ve considered all of the possible outcomes.”
- AU: Two best friends try to date each other for forty days. It’s supposed to be fun until emotions make it complicated.
After All These Years byLifeInAColorWheel (127k)
It’s been seven years since One Direction went on hiatus and it’s been eight years since Louis and Harry broke up. They’ve been strangers to one another since then.
But, over the course of a weeklong boys’ trip, history between Harry and Louis resurfaces.
Or,
The one when Louis and Harry don’t talk, connect again years later, and reflect on why their love collapsed.
Wild and Unruly by 100percentsassy, Gloria_Andrews / @gloriaandrews (123k)
Harry is a cowboy sitting on the biggest oil reservoir in Wyoming, and Louis is the paralegal assigned to pressure him into selling his land.
I'll Fly Away by juliusschmidt / @juliusschmidt (122k)
Harry and Louis grew up together in Lake County, Harry with his mom and stepdad in a tiny cottage on Edward’s Lake and Louis in his family’s farmhouse a few minutes down the road. But after high school, Louis stuck around and Harry did not; Harry went to Chicago where he found a boyfriend and couple of college degrees. Six years later, Harry ends up back in Edwardsville for the summer and he and Louis fall into old patterns and discover new ones.

Bitter Tangerine by purpledaisy / @daisyharry (119k)
Maybe it’s Niall, he reasons to calm his storming heart. Maybe he’s not actually gone for the holidays yet, maybe Harry got the dates confused. Slowly, he holds his breath and pushes the kitchen door open. The first thing he sees make him jump, a wooden spoon held out like a sword. Once his brain processes the sight in front of him, it’s less the sword that gets him than who is attached to the wooden spoon.
“Harry,” the swordsmen speaks before Harry can, his voice low and steady though confusion laces each word.
Harry’s breath catches. Every string around his heart, all the protection he spent nine months building, rips out and tears open all at once as he says, “Hi Louis.”
-
AU: Nine months after they break up, a twist of fate brings Harry and Louis back together at Christmas.

The one where Harry Styles moves to Connecticut from England for nine months as a part of a study abroad program, and he just so happens to move in with Louis Tomlinson and family.
Burn to Ash by bethaboo (116k)
Harry is sitting there, so fucking casual, and Louis realizes in a split second he was not ready. When Harry walked out in Detroit and never looked back, he was a boy verging on a man, still only twenty years old, but there's a man in his place now. Hard and resolute, yes, but still, for the first time in a long time, Louis can kind of see the old Harry in him. The soft, directness of his gaze, the hesitant smile he gives to Lou, the way he wrings his ridiculously large hands in his lap.
He's a little bit the eager sixteen year old puppy dog again, his innocence and sweetness resurrected miraculously, and Louis freezes in place. He was prepared to face the asshole Harry. He was prepared to meet a whole new Harry.
Louis is not prepared to meet one of the old incarnations of Harry, and it absolutely tears him up.
Or the fic where Harry spirals out of control, the band breaks up, and then he shows back up, five years later.
Mine Would Be You by crinkle-eyed-boo / @crinkle-eyed-boo (114k)
Louis blinks his eyes open, his eyelids fluttering as the room swims around him. He takes several gulps of beer once he confirms that he’s definitely not hallucinating, that the very first portrait Harry Styles ever painted of him is hanging on that wall.
Louis stares at the wall, his heart jackrabbiting in his chest as he realizes that there’s not just one painting of him, there’s five, the portraits lined up like they’re some sort of storyboard depicting the rise and fall of his deepest love. His greatest heartache. A pain that cut him so deep that he left the fucking country, severing all ties with his life in New York, now suddenly surrounding him as if he’d never left.
Fucking shit motherfucker fuck.
Louis returns to New York City five years after he left it – and the love of his life – behind. He didn’t intend to see Harry again, but fate has a funny way of pulling them together, whether they like it or not. After making a begrudging truce, they both start to wonder: Would it be so bad if history repeated itself?

“There’s something so great about watching you interact with art,” Harry said quietly. “Like, when you were giving the tour, you were just so you, and so happy and excited and funny and engrossing. But then when you’re looking at the art, when it’s, like, just for you, you get so quiet and observant.” He pressed a kiss to Louis’s shoulder. “But you still seem so you, and so happy. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen you as happy as you’ve been tonight.” He kissed his shoulder again. “As you are right now.” A shiver went up Louis’s back. “I’m happy when I’m with you,” he said.

“This is all a game to you, isn’t it? Well, it’s not for me. This is a real life or death situation,” Louis says, spitting the words at him. “And I just don’t think you’re cut out for it.”
For a moment, they stare at each other in complete silence. Harry can feel his blood thrumming between his ears, can see Louis glaring at him, feels red-hot anger. And then all he feels, oppressively and desperately, is lust.
Suddenly Louis is surging up to him to press his lips against Harry’s. Harry walks the two of them backwards, pressing Louis back against the door. Louis oomphs in surprise and brings his hands under Harry’s scrub top, scratching at his lower back.
“Lock — oh — lock the… fucking door,” Louis mutters.

We should be dancing.” We can’t, Harry almost spits, but it’d be stupid of him. Louis knows they can’t. Even if he looks like any regular Parisian in their twenties, and Harry looks like any hipster Parisian in their twenties, they can’t anyway. To be fair, they probably wouldn’t do it even if they were out. But if they were two uni students, both in Paris for an exchange, meeting over fallen books at the library, or because of mutual friends, or watching Monet’s Water Lilies? “How would we dance?” Harry murmurs, mouth almost pressed to Louis’ cheek, so close he can feel his warmth. House Call
Fandom: Genshin Impact
Pairing: Aether, Diluc, Tartaglia x Reader (Separately)
Summary: Genshin characters and you playing nurse
Word Count: Aether - 467, Diluc - 635, Tartaglia - 661, All - 1,763
Warnings/Extra Notes: Mentions of blood, Mentions of injuries (nothing too graphic), Mentions of death, Mentions of hospitals, Slight cussing, Can be seen as slightly suggestive (Diluc's part), Slight spoilers, Use of Childes multiple names, Not proof-read (pls excuse any grammatical errors thx), Lmk if there's more!
Aether:
Being in a relationship with Aether -the Honorary Knight of Mondstat, the Hero of Liyue, the Captain of Swordfish II in Inazuma, the First Sage of Buer in Sumeru, plus whatever other title he will inevitably get- wasn’t always the easiest believe it or not. Not because he would ever treat you unwell (you guys had your petty fights, then again, what couple didn’t?) he'd rather die than hurt you (his words, not yours). It was more so the things that came with him being an adventurer. You know, not staying at a place longer than needed, helping everyone that you'd come across, the very frequent run-in with death. Normal things.
But you would be lying if you didn’t admit how worried you would get for Aether. You know he can handle himself, that at most he would come back with a few scratches (usually), but it could still make you lose sleep. He would never tell you when he was hurt (Something about not wanting to worry you? What a weirdo.), and you know he doesn’t really take care of himself, often putting others before himself. Which, ironically, only made you worry more because sometimes he would come back with an injury that requires more attention than a scratch. Sometimes he would come back limping, unable to hide that he was hurt. Sometimes, which includes right now, you would freak out seeing the state he was in.
You guys were in Liyue for a few days before you continued your journey to Mondstat. Aether had just left to finish his daily commissions while you patiently waited for him at the inn. After a while, you started getting worried he never took this long to clear out a few hilichurls. Your worries were cut short with the sharp sound of the door unlocking and your boyfriend hastily walking in. You froze, noticing the still bleeding cut on his arm, starting at his shoulder and ending near his elbow. Aether was frantically trying to make sure none of the blood dripped off his arm all the while asking you about your day. Watching the blood still drip down his arm, you were about to scold him for being so reckless but decided against it. You noticed how quickly his face lit up once he saw you despite being in tremendous pain and couldn't bring yourself to be upset at him. Instead, you grab a towel to cover his arm and start dragging him to Baizhus pharmacy for proper treatment.
"You should have just gone to Baizhu first." you mumble, glancing back at him.
"I wanted to see you first," he replied, averting his gaze from yours. "I missed you."
Oh. You might need to see Baizhu too. After all, your heart wasn't supposed to beat this fast, right?
Tumblr media
Diluc:
Getting to know Diluc at all was already a difficult task. Truly getting to know Diluc was somehow even more difficult, but you managed. It took a lot of time and even more patience, but you managed. He let you in fully, and you wouldn't dare to leave. You knew about his nightly activities, and while you would often make fun of it or get worried over him, you supported him nonetheless. At first, you were skeptical (I mean really? Running around at night killing abyss mages in a silly mask? Yeah, okay) and didn't really believe him. But the first night he came home with fresh new scratches and bruises, you quickly realized he wasn't joking.
The first time he came home all scratched up, you rightfully panicked. It was just the break of dawn, the sun slowly started to pour into the room through the tiny gaps in the curtain. You woke up to an empty bed, which freaked you out, to say the least. Diluc would still be in bed around this time, but maybe he just headed downstairs earlier today? You slowly got out of bed and started to head downstairs. You, in all your sleepy glory, bumped into multiple different walls on your way down. But those minor "injuries" were absolutely nothing when compared to what you saw on Diluc. Diluc was downstairs, in the kitchen, calmly cleaning up the blood around a bruise on his stomach. You froze in the middle of the doorway for two reasons: 1) Oh my god, is that blood? Is he hurt? Why is he hurt? and 2) Oh my God, is he shirtless? He seemed to have noticed you since when you finally came back to your senses, you saw a sheepish smile on his face while he greeted you.
That day, you learned that he would come home and quickly get cleaned up before heading back to bed to greet you. He didn't want to show you the ugly sides of what he does or something along those lines. You, on the other hand, would have none of it. After that day, you would wake up earlier (or stay up later) to take care of him. Diluc obviously protested, he didn't want you to worry or lose sleep over something so trivial (his words, not yours). But in the end you got your way, and months later, you don't regret it.
In the present day, you woke up a little before dawn break, already in the kitchen waiting for Diluc to come home. You didn't have to wait much longer, since Diluc strolled into the kitchen as if he didn't spend all night fighting against abyssal creatures. He sent a warm smile your way, one which you gladly returned, before leaning against the counter next to the sink. You swiftly got to work cleaning and wrapping up all the wounds littered around his skin. Times like these were always oddly calming; the sun would slowly be rising, the birds would start chirping, and the maids in the manor weren't shuffling around yet. It was just you and Diluc...
"Did you sleep well?" Diluc asked, breaking you from your thoughts.
Ah, the main thing you loved about these times: Diluc and you got to spend time with each other uninterrupted and unbothered by the business of the day.
"Would've slept better if you had been there." you replied, cleaning the last bit of blood around his neck and looking up to meet his gaze.
Diluc smiled a bit before wrapping his arm around your waist, pulling you closer, "Then I'll be there tonight."
You smiled back before resting your head on his shoulder, cherishing the moment of bliss you get before starting your day. Yep, months later, you still don't regret a thing.

Tartaglia:
Falling in love with Ajax was one of the most terrifying things you've experienced. He was a Harbinger for the Fatui, a diplomat for Snezhnaya, and not to mention his insane blood-lust. You knew falling for someone like him would only cause you pain, physically and mentally. But, ignoring that, you were also terrified of how he made you feel. You've never experienced love like this. You've never experienced butterflies so intense, your heart never skipped so many beats, you never lost your words that much, and you never ever felt so sick. All over minuscule things he'd do too... So, despite all the red flags and other obvious reasons you should've ignored him, you couldn't stop yourself. Which led to a couple months of mutual pinning between the two of you filled with the most corny and endearing clichés you could think of. Thankfully, it ended with Childe confessing his undying love for you with the most bashful smile you've ever seen. Another (welcomed) cliché.
Even before you were in a relationship with the 11th harbinger, you were aware of the dangers of his job. You knew that Childe getting into fights and getting the occasional bruise was something to be expected. And Childe never hid any of his scars from you, always seeming to come to you to get his scrapes cleaned up. So you never worried too much over him. He didn't hide anything from you after all. You also knew how great a fighter Childe was. Sure, sometimes he could be a bit too reckless, but he always managed. Which, in hindsight, you should've questioned. Getting into constant fights with some of the strongest people in whatever region he was in and then coming back without any major injuries? Yeah, okay.
Truth be told, Childe would (obviously) get help before meeting up with you, but he also loved when you would take care of him. Leading him to only get his major injuries dealt with before meeting you. He wasn't embarrassed about any injuries he got, it's not like he didn't want to tell you about them... He just didn't want to freak you out and possibly scare you away. But that's a conversation for another time. In the end, you still found out, and not because he told you. Nope! You found out through a few Fatui soldiers talking about a certain Harbinger being rushed to the nearest clinic once they got back.
The second you heard Ajax's code name fall from their lips, you started running to the clinic that the Fatui would frequent. During the entire trip there and the whole process at the front desk, you could practically feel your heart in your ears. After what felt like years, you were finally able to see him, and Archons, did you have things to say to him. Bursting into the hospital room, you quickly went to grab his face before turning it all over.
"Archons Ajax! Are you alright- No, how are you feeling?" you rush out, fear and concern evident in your voice.
"Babe? What are you doing here?" he questioned back instead.
"What am I doing here? Did you expect to hide this from me?" you asked in response. At this point, you had stopped trying to look at all his bruises and looked straight into his eyes. Both the fear and concern that was evident in your voice, was also evident in the way you held him.
His lack of response caused you to go on a mini-rant,
"You idiot, how could you be so reckless? Don't ever do something like that again."
"Be more careful next time, or else I'm not gonna kiss you anymore- I'm being honest this time!"
The rest of your scolding fell on deaf ears as Childe looked at you with the softest smile that ever graced his pretty face. He really did love you and it was clear you loved him back just as much.
Notes: *awkward cough* hi- ANYWAY. Please take this cutely domestic little post I totally spent the past three months on it. No I didn't I was just lazy. Notice how each drabble got longer and longer yeah I have issues.

Marvel comics StarShock really has everything and I still feel like I have more to say more about it:
In the backstory, they were leaders of two opposing city-states who declared war on each other. It's interesting that Shockwave is described as the supreme ruler of Tarn while Starscream was an athlete and also a puppet to the higher politicians of Vos who backstabbed his way to the top.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But despite this conflict in their past, after joining the Decepticons they were scientists who worked together and seemed to be friendly with each other.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And actually, Starscream was the one who inspired Shockwave to decide it was "logical" to overthrow Megatron!
Tumblr media
Starscream and Shockwave were a great villainous duo—one in-touch with emotion and the other often overwhelmed and confused by it, one who wanted to watch the world burn and one who believed in a twisted logic.
Tumblr media
Shockwave gained more understanding of his own emotions through his dynamic with Starscream.
Tumblr media
The two of them were a snarky second-in-command and a cold leader (well, Shockwave tried to project coldness anyway), and it was great to see that Shockwave actually seemed to react well to all of Starscream's complaints/backtalk and that Starscream never actually ended up trying to assassinate Shockwave.
Tumblr media
Later, Starscream and Shockwave rescued each other multiple times—when they were both lobotomized and controlled by Megatron, Starscream is the one who managed to ensure, with great effort, that Megatron was killed, and then Starscream went back for Shockwave. Shockwave then restored Starscream's voice and they worked to overthrow Galvatron together.
Tumblr media
I especially love how Starscream, possessed by Underbase, remakes Shockwave/frees him. I think this is a wonderful moment. It takes that famous power play in the classic comics in which Starscream took the Underbase into himself to try and become supremely powerful and commit mass murder, only to eventually explode because his body couldn't handle it... and then this moment turns that all on its head since it has him/Underbase instead use the power in a more compassionate way.
Tumblr media
And Shockwave returns the favor when he saves Starscream and shows compassion. While the "Interrogative: is this... emotion?" line is really cliché, I found this moment really touching and pure.
Tumblr media
I also appreciate that while Shockwave and Starscream in these comics were extremely villainous, they ended up suffering so much after their evil deeds that they eventually gave up on evil and became devoted to peace instead, and it's interesting to see how much they were influenced mainly by their connection with each other. I think it's a unique narrative for the two of them that hasn't really been done with any other versions of the characters, and in my book they really earn the title of "power couple."
Tumblr media
...Oh, also there was that time Shockwave rose out of a swamp to stare at Starscream, whose face looked just like the one in the knife cat meme. That sure was something that happened once.

Imagine this.
Since "being" with Quaritch, you would cook for him. That included his coffee.
One day, the Colonel came to the shared room with you. He was in a good mood. He became a grump more than usual when Trudy, Norman, and Grace escaped. And you were left behind and that you betrayed him.
And the final battle was almost close and Selfridge would throw tantrums. No doubt, the Colonel was stressed.
Now he seemed more mellow. He smiled wickedly as he informed you that Grace is dead. His cameraman followed Trudy's chopper and Grace was shot by him.
You bowed your head and sobbed. He seemed to enjoy your misery. He watched you. He then ordered you to shut up. You did. You were scared he will whip your back again. Like he did when you tried to escape and leave him.
The Colonel rolled your clothes off. He didn't touch you since your attempted escape that night. He was busy with work and he was angry at you. You broke his heart. He gave you his heart. Turned out you were using him.
Not to mention the rumor of the base, everyone thought you were a regular girlfriend but when others saw you try to escape. They found out you didn't love the Colonel.
The colonel made you sleep after he was finished. He had to prepare his men against the Navi. The day was close. He showered and he was dressing himself. You pressed your perky size breasts against his back and wrapped your arms around him
"Darling, when will you return to me?" You purred in his ear.
The Colonel peeked at you by the corner of his eye. He sighed. "I wish I knew. I have so much shit to do."
"Do you need any help from me, my love?" You traced his scar.
The Colonel felt his heart warm up and his penis ache for attention. He had multiple rounds with you not ten minutes ago. He wants to do so much more with you again. Fuck.
"Nothing a scientist can do. I just need some soldiers and miners for labor. Just stay here and wait for me. I will come as soon as I am done." He turned around and held your face.
You smiled. That pretty smile. You handed him a cup of coffee.
He kissed you good bye and left with mug in hand.
You smirked. Fool.
....
The Colonel felt much better after being with you. Everything was back to normal now. But then, he started feeling weird...
He was watching his pilot shoot at Navis in the chopper. He then felt like vomiting and his eyes became so heavy.
The fuck is going on? Then he looked down on his mug. His eyes widened. Did you put something in his drink? He couldn't believe it. You wouldn't betray him again. All that affection you showed him earlier
It must have been real. He whipped you to submission. Was it all an act?
He checked his phone screen. The camera showed you to not be in his room despite him locking it.
He then contacted his remaining soldiers at the base to find you. They said you were not there at the base.
And one small helicopter was missing
His eyes narrowed. You used your beautiful face to manipulate him...again. he felt like a fool. Fuckin women. All were fickle whores. He will punish you so bad when he finds you.
But what? Then a grin graced his handsome face. If he pumped a brat inside you. You have no choice but to stay. Yeah. That's it.
You are in for a big surprise.
As for you. You ran away with the directions from Trudy. You arrived in time to attend Grace's funeral and say good bye. You cried for her and your Navi friends hugged you for comfort. They promised to protect you against Quaritch. Jake told the tribe how you were forced to be his sex slave.
Years later. You and your triplets were captured by the Recom Quaritch. He studied you through the glass window in the room you were confined in. He sipped his coffee. He remembered what happened. You escaped and never saw the human Quaritch ever again. He was killed by Sully and his wife.
Now, he came from the dead to take what is rightfully his.

Silver and the KoD share the traits you posted! I know that Fairy Gala showed him being a pushover most of all, but even before then there were instances where he went with what others were saying despite his own qualms about it.
They do! Despite not remembering or even being raised by the Knight for very long, Silver and him are definitely a lot alike.
However, I think how they deal with conflict is completely different (or will be completely different as the story continues), and that comes down to how Silver was raised.
Silver was raised by Lilia, who placed a lot of importance on ensuring Silver could overcome a multitude of possible challenges both if he were with someone he could trust (namely Sebek) or on his own.
Lilia grew up without a family or anyone to rely on for an unknown amount of years of his life. When he was taken in by Maleficia, it's pretty obvious she didn't raise him like a son and instead brought him up as a servant/guard and soon-to-be general to serve Meleanor.
The Knight of Dawn actually had a similar situation to Lilia, he was blessed by fairies and taken in by Leia's family, but he was raised to be a knight and guard (most likely to Leia) and he didn't truly gain a family until he and Leia wed and had Silver.
The Knight fighting for his soon to be father-in-law's life came from a sense of duty, feeling like he owed it to him (Silver also feels this way, except Lilia also raised him to think for himself too, which comes out more in 7.)
Lilia also raised Silver to be open-minded, compassionate and understanding of people's differences. He's essentially the perfect olive branch for fae and human-kind.
You'd think that Silver would just do whatever Malleus and Lilia tell him to, just like how the Knight of Dawn did whatever Henrick told him to do- and there are moments where Silver acknowledges this, believing that he needs to repay his family for taking care of him and even thinking that he would never oppose them in any way-
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But when it comes to Malleus cursing all of Sage's Island and keeping them trapped to prevent Lilia from leaving him (and especially Silver, as Silver's sorrow inspired him to do this), Silver defies Malleus who is not only his older brother but the prince he is expected to serve as he gets older,
Tumblr media
The Knight of Dawn was instructed to duel Meleanor and while having the sense that it was wrong, did not fight against his orders.
Malleus gives Silver multiple ultimatums to just accept the perfect dream world, but Silver rejects it every time. Even though he's sad and doesn't want his father to leave, he knows what Malleus is doing is wrong and doesn't listen to his orders.
Maybe a 'good knight' would do everything his lord wants, but Silver does what is actually right, and that's stopping Malleus's dream world and allowing change, no matter how painful.
And that's also why I think history won't repeat itself. The Knight of Dawn went into battle without speaking to Meleanor like he wanted to. I don't think Silver would do that. Based on how both Silver and Malleus were raised, there's no way they would intentionally look to kill each other, and Silver will always try to talk Malleus back to his senses with compassion.
And so Silver is still a pushover among his peers, the person with the least to complain about, who doesn't stick up for himself and even believes people who tease him may be correct in doing so,
But when it really matters, Silver does what his bio dad couldn't.

How different does the episode ‘Secrets’ play out in the Shape Shifting Ben au?
In Secrets, Max has spent the entire time making sure that Vilgax doesn't find them. Max also prayed that his grandson's Chimera Sui Generi father wasn't his enemy from his past. But deep down, Max knows the painful truth.
Even though the Omnitrix is now useless, Vilgax can still track the powers. Basically, every time Ben shape-shift, it brings Vilgax closer to him. Not wanting his grandchildren near Vilgax, Max tries to take Ben and Gwen to Mount Rushmore since he believes it's the safest place to protect them from Vilgax.
When Ben sees the city being attacked, Ben instantly shape-shifts into his Kineceleran form despite his grandfather's protests. When Ben and Vilgax finally meet, Vilgax is at first angry since he believes that a child possesses the power of the Omnitrix. But he realizes that the symbol of the Omnitrix isn't shown on Ben's person. Thinking that Ben is some kind of shape-shifting alien.
Ben landed hits on Vilgax multiple times, but Vilgax finds it kind of adorable since a mere child is trying to protect his home planet. Not wanting to waste his strength on a child, Vilgax lets Ben hit him because he knows the kid will eventually wear himself out.
Despite of all Ben's best efforts, it's not enough to defeat Vilgax. When Ben transforms into his Chimera Sui Generi form, Vilgax becomes shock to see the boy resembling him when he was a child. Max shows up in a nick of time while fearing that Vilgax could hurt Ben.
Max reveals that he still has the Omnitrix in his possession, throwing it at Vilgax before taking Ben and driving away with his grandchildren. Vilgax is surprised that Max was willing to give him the Omnitrix without any hesitation. Not that Vilgax isn't complaining.
Ben and Gwen ask their grandfather where they're going, which Max simply responses Mount Rushmore. While Gwen what was that thing Max threw at Vilgax, Ben knew immediately that it was the Omnitrix. Causing Ben to wonder if that man is one of his many fathers.
Back in his ship, Vilgax is thrilled to finally have the Omnitrix in his possession at least. All thanks to his old nemesis, who gave him all this power. Unfortunately for Vilgax, he quickly realized that Omnitrix no longer works. Furiously, Vilgax hunts down for Max to demand answers.
At Mount Rushmore in a safe room, Ben and Gwen hate how their grandfather isn't telling them anything about who's that squid alien. Even though the cousins know Max was a space police in his youth, the kids feel like he still hiding something from them. Max tells them that his job wasn't always like a cool adventure. He made many enemies he simply couldn't arrest since they were either rulers or had special connections.
Before either of the cousins could say anything to Max, Vilgax arrived outside of the hideout. Demanding Max to tell him where the power of the Omnitrix went. Max tells the kids to stay in the room and hide, and if things get hairy, take the Rust Bucket, put it on auto drive, and send out a signal to his superior, Magister Prior Gilhil. Saying Gilhil will look after them until he takes them to their parents.
Realizing that their grandfather might not make it out alive, Ben and Gwen try to protest but Max closes the door to finish his long-time fight with Vilgax. Ben and Gwen are still kids, they shouldn't inherit his burdens. In his mind, Max tells Ben and Gwen to be better than him.
Vilgax waits until Max comes out on top of Mount Rushmore. Vilgax offers Max one last chance to tell him where the Omnitrix's power went, and he'll spare Max and his grandchildren. But Max refuses, as he knows that if Vilgax ever learns where the Omnitrix's power went, Ben will become Vilgax's next target.
Turning on the security, Max fires with everything he has. Even if he might be killed, Max can at least hope that his grandkids will make it out alive. Besides, if Ben ever gets the chance to bond with one of his other fathers, Gilhil can have that honor since the man has a soft spot for young children that many Plumbers don't know about.
Back with the kids, Ben is torn between wanting to help his grandpa, or listening to Max and waiting until Max comes back or running if the situation turns worse. Poor kid doesn't want to leave his grandpa, but Vilgax is just too strong. Gwen feels helpless. Her grandpa is risking his life and her cousin might even end up as a target for Vilgax. She's scared and she doesn't know what to do. She's supposed to be smart, but she feels incapable of doing anything.
Angry, Gwen kicks the wall. She wishes that she had her own powers to protect her family. Maybe if she trains, she'd might be able to protect her family more. Seeing his cousin getting sad and angry, Ben knows the only way for their grandfather and Earth to be safe is handing himself over to Vilgax.
Turning into his Ectonurite form, Ben says goodbye to Gwen, who's at first confused before realizing what Ben's about to do. She tries to stop Ben, but he went through the door. Ben is at least that he managed to become friends with his cousin, even if it was a short time.
Once outside, Ben sees Max on the ground and is about to blasted by Vilgax. Ben quickly gets in between his father and grandfather. Saying that he has the power of the Omnitrix in him. Vilgaxis at first doesn't believe Ben's statement, but he realizes that Ben might be telling the truth once Ben begins to shape-shift into multiple aliens, many which whom Vilgax recognizes as child versions of the aliens he knows.
Ben tells Vilgax that he'll come with him if his family and planet are spared. Despite being a warlord, Vilgax does have some warrior honor in him and agrees. Max begs Ben not to do it, but Ben only tells his grandfather goodbye and he loves him as Vilgax takes him to his ship.
Gwen comes out to see her cousin being taken away and rushes to her grandfather. She apologizes for not stopping Ben, but Max tells her that it's not her fault. If anything, everything that's been happening is his fault in the first place. However, they're not giving Ben up without a fight, which Gwen nodded.
Inside the spaceship, Vilgax runs testing on Ben. Surprised to see that Ben has all the DNA of the Omnitrix in him. Intimidatingly, Vilgax demands Ben to tell him how did he got all that power in him.
Ben tells Vilgax that he was born with them. Revealing to Vilgax that the Omnitrix was damaged when it came to Earth. When Ben's mother touched it, all the DNA went to her womb, creating him in the process. Shape-shifting into his Chimera Sui Generi form again in front of Vilgax.
Hearing that, Vilgax remembers the day that he met Myaxx when she disguised herself as a servant in his castle just to get his DNA. By the time he figured out who she was, Myaxx had already left Vilgaxia. After branding Myaxx a traitor to Vilgaxia, Vilgax eventually learned about the Omnitrix and immediately wanted such power for himself to conquer the entire universe.
But never in his wildest dreams, Vilgax would thought that the Omnitrix would create a child who could shape-shift into any alien he wants, especially one who has his DNA. Vilgax realize that Ben also has his DNA, and this makes Ben his son.
Vilgax tells Ben that his own DNA was in the Omnitrix, revealing that they're father and son. Hearing this, Ben is horrified since that means he has another father who's a horrible person. Vilgax is beyond thrilled since this means he had an heir to his empire this all time and he didn't even know.
Just before either Ben or Vilgax could say anything to each other, Max shows up in the same way he did in canon, with the same line of “Claws of my grandson, Vilgax!”, only this time Vilgax response with “Your grandson... or my son?”. But the only difference is that Max is wearing a mega suit due to his old age.
Ben calls out to Max and begs the man to leave before Vilgax can hurt him. But Max tells him not to worry before firing his weapon at Vilgax. Max immediately takes Ben to the Rust Bucket and tells him to take Gwen and leave. Max and Vilgax soon fight as neither man wants the other to take Ben from him.
Gwen comes out of the vehicle and hugs her cousin before chewing him out for leaving her like that since they're supposed to be a team. A few of Vilgax's robots arrive to try to help Vilgax, but Ben shape-shifts into his Galvanic Mechamorph form to take over one of them while Gwen is hiding and begins to regret destroying those charms.
Back with Max and Vilgax, Max is soon underneath Vilgax's foot while the latter says that the former won't get in his way anymore and Ben will become his. However, before Vilgax can crush his long-hated enemy, Ben immediately jumps at Vilgax, causing father and son to fall off the ship.
Ben tries to get away from his Chimera Sui Generi father, but Vilgax is quick. He tells Ben no matter where he runs, Vilgax will always find him and bring him home. Vilgax asks Ben if he truly believes that he can live on Earth. Because once it's revealed that a child who has the power of shape-shifting lives on a backwater planet like Earth, its people will shun and hate him. Vilgax tells his son to let go of his affection for his human and come with him since the people of Vilgaxia will welcome him as their crown prince.
The entire scene of the Vilgax's ship crashing down is basically the same. Max driving the Rust Bucket off the ship and Vilgax using them to get to Ben. Ben agrees to leave the planet with his father in exchange he won't hurt anyone he loves again. Just like the canon, Max tells Vilgax not to go back on the ship, which Vilgax ignores until he realizes that the ship is on self-destruction.
And like in canon, Vilgax curses Max and Ben blasts him with Max's weapon. Ben quickly jumps off before Vilgax can stop him. The ship explodes as Ben transforms into his Pyronite form. Max and Gwen hug him after a long day. Ben watches as the ship that was carrying his father is destroyed. Deep down, Ben wishes that Vilgax was a good guy, unaware that this isn't the last time he'll see Vilgax.

I'm still thinking about vampire Usopp w/sanuso btw, just like
Sanji insisting Usopp come to him whenever he's hungry, for multiple reasons, but primarily bc he's the cook, it's his job to keep his cremates fed above everything else. And Usopp going along with it, asking for blood around the same times he used to ask for food. Thinking Sanji would tell him if he ever took too much.
Sanji, however, is a fool. A very kind, but large fool. He doesn't tell Usopp when he's taking too much or too frequently. In fact their whole arrangement barely lasts a few weeks before Sanji collapses in the middle of food prep.
Like, just the idea of the guy who gives and gives and, yeah it feels nice to give, but can't fathom the idea that there are others on the crew able to do the same. That he doesn't have to give until there's nothing left.
Idk just. Physical manifestation of his problems with accepting unconditional love without having to give anything to earn it. As in, the more he gives without bounds, the more he's literally killing himself.
And then. And then.
Usopp coming into the galley, ready to sheepishly ask for a snack, just like before this whole thing, and finding Sanji on the floor.
And he yells for Chopper before looking Sanji over. Coming to the realization that this was him- this was his fault. He took too much. Asked for too much. Asked too much of Sanji.
And he's just kicking himself the whole time, telling himself it was stupid to ever think Sanji- Sanji of all people- would ever deny him a chance to fill his belly.
He comes to the conclusion he can't ask Sanji for blood anymore. He can't ask anyone for blood anymore. He couldn't risk this happening again. To any of them.
After Sanji got a transfusion and isn't at risk of falling over anymore, he and Usopp begin an agonizing back and forth routine.
Sure, Sanji can't give blood for a while- doctor's orders- but there are some rather big fish in the aquarium, and Usopp has always loved the taste of fish. He drains the blood out of a few, stores the excess in the fridge, and offers a glass to Usopp to make up for the lunch portion he never got.
Usopp says something or other about grabbing a bite from a sea king earlier and waves him off. Sanji frowns but doesn't say anything.
And this same bit continues and continues and continues, until Sanji puts his foot down. Literally.
Kicks Usopp's ass to the galley. Has an infuriating conversation with him. Continues to try and get him to drink. Ends up coming to a conclusion that Usopp only liked drinking blood from the source. A passing thought making him consider that there was only one source- one person he'd drink from.
Usopp- tired and fuzzy and hungry, so so hungry- is trying his damnedest to keep Sanji satisfied with lies he doesn't have the energy to make believable. He's trying and trying but Sanji is bulldozing through each one, not taking no for an answer and-
Is it me? Sanji asks, his voice far, far too hopeful. Do you only want to drink from me?
And if Usopp wasn't tired- wasn't literally starving and finding it hard to keep his thoughts from slipping away- he would examine that voice. That tone. Run through his own daydreams with different words, different contexts, being implied with those words.
But he is tired. And he is starving. And he needs to get a grip before he wavers even more in his resolve.
And so, it's surprising yet all too expected when Usopp declares Sanji's blood as the nastiest thing he's ever tasted. Says he never wants to get within smelling distance anymore, it's that bad. Too late, he realizes his smelling distance, now, covers the entirety of the ship and then some.
Sanji stays silent. Usopp contemplates taking it back. He doesn't.
Casually, Sanji reaches over to his knife block. Despite his current status as a member of the undead, Usopp fears for his life. He wonders if Sanji was just as skilled with a knife as Zoro was with his swords and desperately hopes that's not the case. Aloud, he tries to calm Sanji down while subtly trying to put distance between them.
Without any warning, practically without sound, Sanji tilts his head and cuts a thin line near the juncture from his neck to his shoulder. And all of a sudden, Usopp's filled with another, far more terrifying, kind of fear.
It's just like Boin, Usopp, he thinks to himself, eyes glued to the spot where dark red beads of blood well up on pale skin. Just like Boin.

Okay so I was discussing this with one of my friends earlier and I wanna ask... Have any of y'all like— Actually ACTUALLY wondered how these "Revert AU's” would work? Specifically with the Murder Time Trio n all...
"What's a Revert AU? What's it like?" Well if you ask me, I sorta assume it's when the AT/AU returns back to normal (or at least, the closest it can get to regular Undertale), where the bad things that made that specific universe how it is gets fixed due to specific scenarios or events that happened.
I kinda wanna ramble about a Something New Revert timeline rn but I'll yap a bit first hbsjsbdns
If we follow the canon, then realistically there is no way in hell a Revert AU would be possible for Horrortale UNLESS some big miracle happens. There would need to be a very specific line of fortunate events seeing as— well... How messed up everything is.
Dusttale on the other hand would be a lot more possible if we assume the player finally decides to give up. It would be a long process, but it's honestly possible. Murder would've already fallen into the routine of killing everyone before the player catches up, but imagine... Waiting in the corridor or hiding somewhere so that you can ambush the player, but they just— never arrive. And when you try to check where they are, they're simply at the beginning of the game, laying there, doing nothing. Yeah, sure, Murds would definitely kill them the first few times this happens but wouldn't he at least be a little bit intrigued by this change of behavior?
OKAY UHM MOVING ON... I'll rant about a Revert Dusttale au later but what about Something New? What about Killer? How would that work? How would Killer handle it? Well, lemme tell you this pal. I genuinely do believe that this is possible.
If we follow the canon events of the timeline, then I'm sure you'll know that by the end of it, Killer would get interrupted and kidnapped by Nightmare either way whether he'd like it or not, and even if Nm didn't interrupt, then Killer would've already deleted himself from his AT longgggg ago. BUT, what about that timeline where Color saves Killer, taking him away from Nm's grasp? The Revert timeline could always start from there.
Imagine being Killer's Papyrus, still searching for your brother for probably years ever since he disappeared on the day he says goodbye? Imagine finding him again, returned but different, in a way. But you couldn't care less. He's still alive even after all these years and you genuinely couldn't care about finding out where'd he'd been this entire time that you can't help but embrace him in your arms, choked sobs escaping from the both of you as you ignored the stares and gazes from everyone around you. And honestly, none of them probably cared because they're equally as happy as you are. "Sans" was finally back.
Color likely helped (and accompanied) Killer to return to his timeline, despite his hesitation.
Killer would definitely have a difficult time adapting to this new life. And oh boy— Papyrus couldn't be more concerned for him ESPECIALLY with all the trauma he's endured for all these years😭
Imagine Papyrus getting him a bottle of ketchup, maybe even multiple of them as a treat for Killer because he thinks he deserves it, only for Killer to just... Back away, visibly trembling from just the sight of the bottle alone. Imagine cooking him spaghetti, wanting to show how much you've improved your cooking skills and trying to get your brother to at least eat something, only for him to just stare at it, breathing heavily as his entire body trembles from even just the smell. He looked like he was about to puke, and ultimately you decided to go with something simple for him instead, like a bowl of warm soup.
Imagine having to feed him yourself because his fingers won't stop shaking every time he picks up the spoon. You listened as he kept mumbling apologies when you grabbed a handkerchief to wipe the spilled contents. You notice how he seems to be out of touch with reality when you bring up the spoon towards his mouth, having to wait a second or two before he finally accepts the food.
Imagine having to bring your brother to your bedroom instead of his because he kept refusing to go to his own, to the point where he was begging not to. And when you do let him sleep in your bed with you, you keep waking up due to him having nightmares or having a breakdown in the middle of the night. But you don't mind comforting him, sitting with him as you let him cry on your chest, as long as you're able to help him in some way.
And oh boy, I haven't even started on how the others would react to Killer.
Like how Grillby would notice how Killer rarely ever visits. And even if he did, he would either not eat at all or order literally anything BUT his usual. Undyne, Alphys and the other would literally notice how Killer became extremely clingy to Papyrus, rarely ever seeing them separated (which is pretty understandable considering how long they haven't seen each other for...). Imagine how off putting it is going for an entire day without hearing a pun, and whenever he finally does make one, you can't help but feel a little glad.
Color definitely visits Killer on a daily basis to check on him and accompany him for a while. The others would definitely question how they knew each other or where Color came from, and the two would just brush it off like it always has been like that. Although they definitely don't mind letting Color stay for a bit since he and Killer are close. (And because he's the closest to a therapist that they can afford right now)
How would they react to the existence of Killer's other stages though? And how would the underground change ever since Killer's absence?
Will be discussed next time I feel like ranting!! Cya later folks because I am thirsty and need to eat

tell me about your liu 😈
Liu was 15 the night Jeff attacked, as he's two years older. He and Jeff are mexican and were born in Maine, and moved to Flordia a few months prior to the terrible event that took place after the fire. They're parents were both TERRIBLE, being verbally, physically, and even sexually abusive. Liu was the one to take most of the abuse rather than Jeff, as Jeff was seen as the golden child. He showed early signs of having serious issues, and eventually got diagnosed with CD(Conduct Disorder), which all resulted in his parents giving him more attention, hoping they could lead Jeff away from any bad decisions (Which they failed because even so they were still awful to both of the brothers).
Jeff didn't just willy nilly get these bad traits, though, they came from their father, who had similar problems and issues that Jeff would later on receive after the attack. When Jeff was 4 and Liu was 6, their father had attempted to murder them and their mother. Liu took most of the damage that night protecting Jeff. This immediately set Liu on a path where he'd always try to protect Jeff the best he could, especially from their parents, always taking the blame for the things Jeff had done, such as breaking a important valuable or stealing something like money. Liu would cover him, say it was him rather than Jeff. Liu practically raised Jeff more than their parents did, and the two had a extremely close bond.
Jeff's early life was pretty bad, but Liu took the worst of it, all for Jeff. Liu had many problems as a teenager, such as self harm, underage drinking, and even doing drugs. His parents knew about this and hated him more than they already did for it. He'd constantly be sent to rehab, but none of it ever worked. Liu had even tried to kill himself multiple times, all of which failed. He was shattered when he woke up in the hospital after the attack, feeling both betrayed and scared for his brothers whereabouts despite the gruesome scars Jeff had left Liu with.
Liu had went into a coma for four, almost five years, awakening when he was 19. Liu knew Jeff wasn't in the right mindset the night he snapped. He knew he couldn't hold it against him. He loves his brother too much, seeing as he pretty much raised him as his own. In his own confusion and despair, as a nurse talks to him when he wakes up, he hears nothing the nurse says except the word 'monster'. He asked her to repeat what she said, in which he hears this random woman who doesn't know anything about his family call his brother a monster. He ends up losing his normal 'mature' personality in this moment, killing the nurse. He didn't regret it. To this day he doesn't regret it. In fact, he loved killing her. He finds a way out of the hospital, and sets out on his own, and goes from there for a total of six months searching for Jeff, writing down everything he found out along the way in a journal.
He stumbles into the slender forest, which is considered the underrealm, by pure accident, but it was where all his clues led him. When he eventually reunites with Jeff, its awkward, as Jeff refuses to believe that Liu is still alive and even forgives him. Jeff had carried the guilt around for YEARS for what he did to Liu, not even sure why he attacked his own brother. They eventually get over the awkward stage, and they grow close again. Liu mainly stuck around Jeff, extremely shy and quiet for a bit, but eventually, forced himself to be more social.
Every creep is forced to kill a person one every week, so Liu had to get used to the life of being a murderer. He in fact even enjoys it at times, such as when he's having a bad day. After all, Jeff isn't the ONLY one who took traits from their father. He only refuses to kill children and elderly people. He became more social after some time, and some creeps aren't exactly the nicest, which resulted him in getting easily triggered by things and being less 'soft'. He's gotten into multiple fights with other creeps as the mansion continues to 'toughen' him up.
He tends to stick up for himself more than he used to, and prefers fighting his own battles rather than letting Jeff fight them for him. He doesn't mind Jeff sticking up for him, but he doesn't want to seem like a coward to have his little brother constantly defending him. In fact, the roles have switched more than they used to. Liu is constantly fighting and arguing with others when Jeff is mentioned in a bad way. The second Liu hears someone talk about Jeff in a negative way his sole focus is immediately on that person and he's ready to fight. He doesn't let others push him around as much, and he's much more stubborn than he used to be. Sometimes he and Jeff have moments where they don't get along, but they usually talk about it and fix it, both of then having a deep down fear of losing each other.
Liu, as of current day, has major issues, like Insomnia, BPD, and PSTD. He has a lot of trouble sleeping, and has a major coffee addiction. He's the first creep to wake up every day, around five in the morning, if he even sleeps at all. He also has a disorder called Cotards Delusion, where a person believes they're dead, which results in them not taking care of theirselves at all, because they believe they're already dead, like a zombie of some sorts. Liu doesn't feel like this all the time, but he'll have random moments where he will, and sometimes these moments can last for days, and he'll forget to do basic things like eat and stay hydrated. He typically has to be supervised during these moments when someone notices, to prevent death.
Now, for Sully, I would consider it DID, but at the same time, Sully is a demon who was created by Slenderman to infect Liu's mind with more hostile thoughts, in hopes it would eventually make him a more violent person in general, like Jeff, but Liu has a lot of self control he's taught himself over the years, and it isn't working out exactly how Slenderman would like.
Overall, Liu and Jeff are very close, even to this day, but Liu has had major character development throughout his life due to his experiences, and is not 100% pure and sweet and 'would never do anything wrong' like many stereotypes portray him as.
There's still a lot more about him and Jeff, especially concerning their childhood and his current life, but I decided not to spill EVERYTHING, or there wouldn't be the excitement of learning more about his character:)

20 and 22 for the ask game?
20. you can only change one plotline in the entire canon—what would it be and how would you alter it?
FUCKKKKK ONLY ONE? hmmm....
I do think there is a part of this question that is phrased strangely, I understand the "only one plotline" thing in theory because it requires you to limit yourself to one decisive answer. But that also kind of implies that the One Plotline you're changing has changes that are all self-contained and ultimately return things to the status quo, which is typically not why I would make a change in plot to begin with. If I'm making one big major change in the plot, typically its going to be something major enough that the rest of the series is affected, which kind of conflicts with how the question is intended...
With that in mind... I mean the easy answer is something Aaron-related, but honestly most of his issues stem from a character standpoint given he rarely ever drives the plot forward meaningfully unless he's literally killing himself lol. There's not a lot of single isolated plot issues for him, I don't know if I could fix him without really going back to the roots and really domino-effect-ing him and how he interacts with the rest of the plot moving forward. sooooo...
If I had to do a more self-contained plotline change, it'd be the circumstances around Garroth's S1 betrayal. Easily.
Judging by how quickly everyone forgives him, the series itself seems to forget that people got hurt, killed, and had years of their life stolen because Garroth got mad that Aphmau maybe romantically liked someone else. It relies on miscommunication and poor characterization to even be executed at all. Eek.
Canonically, one of his biggest weaknesses is that he invests too much into people. He couldn't kill Zenix despite Zenix actively trying to kill him multiple times because of how much time and love there had been between them. Are we really expected to believe he'd betray Aphmau on the off chance she might've done something that could've hurt his feelings? Are you kidding me? This is stupid.
Seeing as how the series treats him as if his motives are already easily forgivable and justified, just changing the motive to be... actually that, keeps the change relatively self-contained here. So! Lets give him a motive that actually makes sense here:
Zane promises the war will be endless unless Garroth gets him what he wants. He's scared of O'khasis' military might and knows what they can do. Lillian is still a method of coercion, mostly as a contact point between him and Zane.
He's trapped in a lose-lose situation, both actions causing Phoenix Drop harm, growing sick and locking himself in his room from fear and indecision. It culminates in his betrayal in the S1 finale, his fear of O'khasis and Garte outweighing his trust in Aphmau and Phoenix Drop. This leads into a much more viable change of heart in the S1 finale, and a much more natural redemption afterwards.
22. who's the character that you most identify with and why?
looks up to my url. looks back at this ask. looks up at my url again. looks at you. looks to my icon. looks to my header. looks to this ask. yeah it's vylad why do you ask.
No but on a serious note, I think it's natural to put pieces of yourself into characters, and with Vylad that comes very naturally to me. He has always fascinated me, even since before we had much confirmed about him (I very vivdly remember trying to talk to people about him being the Elusive Third Sibling of Garroth during S1, only to get VERY confused responses). When he got properly introduced in S2, only to justify basically everything I had ever theorized about him to be right, it was very satisfying lol. I don't think I can fully answer the "why" here without getting very personal, but here's some stuff I feel comfortable sharing!
Green and red are important colors for Vylad, and they're important for me too!! Green has basically always been my favorite color since the dawn of time, although I did go through a strong purple phase when I was younger.
The way he acts and behaves can be very easily read as autistic/otherwise neurodivergent. I saw/still see a lot of my behaviors in him in a way that made him very comforting to me when I was first watching the series in 2015, and still makes him very endearing to me now ^-^
I am a sucker for characters who go through a literal death + transformation afterwards. Big fan of symbolism. Somewhat for transgender reasons personally, but also stuff beyond that.
speaking of transgender: nonbiney :) and while we're at it hes one of the most explicitly lgbt characters we've got. gay people!!!!! woooooo!!!!!!!!!!
we've both got freckles heehee :D
This comic was based off some very personal musings of mine, so much so that I almost didn't post it lol. His strange relationship with not-religion is very important to me.
Weirdly enough though, I'm not a sibling! I very very frequently find myself identifying with characters that have strange sibling relationships, but I'm an only child! I don't know why this keeps happening.

Kon has been through a lot. He has almost died multiple times (and actually does die at one point, but I'm focusing here on pre-2003 material). He has been exploited by almost every adult in his life. He was grown in a lab, has no parents, and has been dehumanized and experimented upon. At one point he couldn't age past sixteen. He's gone through betrayals and painful breakups. He's watched people he loves die. He's been abandoned by people whom he considered family. He's been homeless. He's had multiple depressive episodes. He's had a vague death wish for most of his short life. His solo series is one trauma after another.
Typically he handles the sadness by putting up a brave front, but this isn't always sustainable. Sometimes he looks sad, utterly dejected, or dead inside. He may even get a little misty-eyed on occasion. But despite often having every reason in the world to, he very seldom cries. Three times. Maybe four.
The first time it happens is after Superman gives him a name, in Superboy 1994 #59. Yes, that's how long it took for him to get a personal name. Kon's response to this is initially to stare at Superman in stunned silence, but once he's alone, up in the air where no one can see his face, he weeps with joy. He is deeply moved to have a real name at last--but heaven forbid he cry in front of Superman! After all, he's got an image to maintain.
(As far as I know now, this is the only case of tears of joy for any of these boys.)
Tumblr media
It is possible that at the end of Superboy 1994 #74, when his girlfriend Tana is killed in front of him, a temporarily aged-up Kon weeps over her body. The circumstances and his expression suggest it, but we don't get a close enough view of his face to tell.
Tumblr media
When Bart vicariously experiences his own death on Apokolips and goes into shock, his friends initially aren't sure if he's going to make it. Kon in the letter he writes in Superboy 1994 #91 believes that Bart's dead and that he himself is responsible for it. As soon as the tears start coming, he flies away to deal with his emotions alone. Heaven forbid the girls see him crying! Even though they've been doing the same.
Tumblr media
Toward the end of Kon's solo, he's working in an apartment in the slums. A young man named Cooper moved in with the intention of getting revenge on Kon for whatever reason but instead Kon befriends him and even saves his life. In Superboy 1994 #100, Cooper returns the favor by trying to get everyone out of the building before a bomb in the basement goes off but does not survive the explosion himself. An already overwrought Kon breaks down at this tragedy.

No tears for his own problems. They're almost always on behalf of someone else, and it takes the extremity of death for him to get to this state--or an extremity of happiness.
He's the most image-conscious of all these boys, so it makes sense that he would be the most careful to limit and conceal these moments of vulnerability. It's his job to be strong and save the day, not exhibit any sign that he could use some support himself.

MemoryTale (D&Htale original concept) scrapped Characters and plots ect. ect
⚠️ Warning! Really old art below!⚠️
Main Villians-
Project 2: P2Ant (Anthony)
-Description: failed science of Frisk Bio dad, his goal was to make a superhuman(if he couldn't make an immortal)
This results in him having both a male and Female body she can switch to and from
-Age: 17
-AMAB
-Height: 5"2
Weight: N/A
Status: Alive
-Fate: befriend by Frisk and ends up being adopted by the dreemurrs, helps defeat Project1
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Project 1: P1
-description: first gailed experiment. One of Andian's(Frisks dad) close friends. After experimentation failed, he was believed to be deceased, and was kept in a tank to study. Was one of the very few humans who was nice to Frisk before they fell (now hes evil and insane)
Goal: he has an empty and is trying to fill it with as many monster and human souls as possible to fulfill the experiment and become truly immortal
-Fate: Killed by Frisk at the end of the story
Tumblr media Tumblr media
DT:Determination
I dont know what her motives were, she just wanted to see frisk suffer as she slowly fell further into insanity
Fate: Locked in eternal suffering and darkeness by Chara
Emma/emily
Description: 8 year old girl(s)? (potentially Frisks sister(s)? Or an orphan? They could both be twins? Orphans or not, I don't remember) another experiment towards immortality,l. The result is countless clones of her could be made retaining all her memories from each other. Every time she died she was simply brought back as a clone with memories.
Fate: Frisk talked to one of them into giving up and no longer listening to Adrian and hurting people, resulting in her death (Frisk didn't kill her, that was her own choice) the other was adopted by the Dreemurrs (probably)

Other Characters
Adrian Winston (Still exists in D&Htale, just different)
Description: Frisks bio dad, he also used Frisk for experiments, and was very neglectful towards them despite his showering them in gifts whenever he visited them.
Fate: he survives and life goes on(Frisk ignores his existence and he is, for some reason, mad about that)
Max:
Description: Adrian's assistant, up until Project1 kidnapped him and forced him to work for him
Fate: dies sacrificing himself in an attempt to stop Progect1 (the plan didn't work)
Aliza (in no relation to horrortale)
Maxs younger sister, max sent her away so she wasn't harmed by P1,yet she still fought to help and try to defeat P1
Fate: Adopted by the dreemurrs
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hailey:
Adrians current assistant (she is not in d&htale- she constantly enabled his behavior
Project#3: Frisk Winston
Age: 8
Height: 3"6
Weight: 46 lbs
Status: Deceased(?)
Adrian's most promising experiment, Frisk was poked and prodded at, nearly killed on multiple occasions for the sake of "science." On their eighth birthday Adrian accidentally left Frisks window open resulting in them running away to the mountain. When Frisk fell into the underground they lost all their memories from the surface, and plenty of the story is just about them getting their memories back.
Frisks right arm turns black as a result of Charas hatred. (No longer the case in D&Htale)
For some reason in the very original original version of this story, Frisk somehow befriended error, or something, it was weird. (Its probably because they were considerably immortal)
---------------------------------
Physical LV: formula made by Adrien, fully created by Max after Project forced him to...
A plauge on the world as its near close to impossible to get rid of... yes this still exists in D&Htale, just differently.
Mage: The only sentient peice of PhysicalLV
He can shapeshift into different people and impersonate them.
Fate: Chara gave him an option to follow Frisks every command and protect them, or die
Hatred: a smartass in a suit, and more of guide to Chara
Empy souls: not souless, just an emptied soul. It is discovered you can empty a soul from one person, to another. Close to being souless, just with feelings. You can take from a soul and fill/add to anothers soul (empty or not) used to connect many people together, and helps with creating clones.
Fragmented souls: also used to creat clones but is a bit more dangerous as it puts limitations on the amount. Used to also connect different people together as a form if communication between specific individuals
Papyrus dies, but Chara brings him back to life so Sans, in their words, " doesn't throw a hissy fit."
Toriel and MK die permanently
Undynes arm gets torn off
Asriel dies multiple times, but Gaster brings him back each time
I'm surprised I still had some of these drawings thrown in the back of my closet, I could've sworn I had thrown all of my art away.
