Apolo is very connected to modern technology, oddly enough. He would have a cell phone, the best and most expensive, and it would be full of photos of you. His music playlist would have all genres, an eclectic god, after all, he is also the god of music and appreciates all types, honoring his essence as the god of music.

He wouldn't touch your cell phone unless you allowed it or if he had some kind of suspicion. In this case, you can be sure that the god will search your cell phone in search of something. And he will definitely take selfies of himself to leave for you.

During moments of rest, Apollo shared divine stories and ancestral teachings with you. His words were like ethereal songs, dancing in the air and penetrating your heart. Each narrative was filled with wisdom and profound lessons, like the notes of an eternal melody.

On a starry night, after an especially epic victory over a colossal beast, Apollo gathered the gods and goddesses for a divine celebration on Olympus. Heavenly music filled the halls as everyone rejoiced in their achievements and the union between the divine and the mortal.

At the height of the party, Apollo raised his golden lyre and began to sing a song that transcended the limits of Olympus. His melodious voice resonated, telling the saga of his favorite child, full of courage, triumph and divine love. I have this crossover idea. Sarah Christ x Creekside Killer amangela hatchetfield alternate universe where the creekside killer is Grace Chasity (played by Angela), whose serial killings used to be under the name of Christ killer since she killed in the name of the ‘lord’ as heard through rumours (this changes eventually to Creekside Killer, Grace does these killings for the lords in black and want to use her to obtain more power, do evils things idk)

I think it matches up because the creekside killer is infamous for their strength (I like to think that the creekside killer is interpreted as a ‘him’ due to strength, bodied a man to death but I see this as the dark arts and stealing souls as grace learns at the end of npmd), and the timeline is so lost with Sarah Christ lol. She doesn’t even know how long she’s been searching (maybe she’s been chosen to unironically cleanse the world of the lords in black, somehow fitting of her last name of Christ) but it’s her destiny to save the world from the Creekside Killer. I think this would be like whatever happens in Black Friday with Lex (who is also played by Angela lol) when she is chosen by General McNamara to fight the supernatural and evil from the Black and White?

anyways I think it would be an epic idea (also love the idea of someone known as the Christ killer x Sarah Christ) but I do not have the time to draw nor write this rn but I am. Thinking about it so hard guys. I just watched Black Friday and NPMD, probably will get to the rest of the hatchetfield musicals so I’m trying to work out more details

Publisher ATLUS and developer Vanillaware have announced tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox Series. It will launch on March 8, 2024 worldwide.

In Japan, the game will cost 8,778 yen for the standard physical or digital edition, 17,578 yen for the physical Monarch Edition, and 13,178 yen for the digital Monarch Edition.

My story so far

Recently, I received lots of ideas regarding my story, enough to modify its entire structure (and make it even better)!

So, I now feel confident enough to clarify everything!

What's my story about?

What is it? And why it's not like other werewolf stories/romances?

What are my main sources of inspiration?

My story talks about a boy, Daniel (an ideal version of me), who had a dream, aka the most realistic dream of his entire life.

In this dream, he became a werewolf. But the thing is that, he felt soo good... and, he felt something that he never felt before... completeness.

But, when he woke up, he felt like he had lost a part of himself, of his very own soul...

And so, he felt incomplete, and a void inside him... that was consuming him slowly, from the inside.

That's why, he became very sad, and his life changed totally.

But then, a little over than a year later, something happened... (obviously, if you'll read it, you'll know it!)

This is basically a fantasy werewolf-related story, but the most important thing is that it's also related to the Multiverse.

In fact, werewolves are important but they're not at the center of the story. The Multiverse is.

Also, it's visualized as an anime (because I love animes) (and that's also why I tagged #anime).

The Multiverse of my story was, at the beginning, the Modded Minecraft Universe.

That's simply because I wanted to have a lot of freedom regarding creativity.

But later, I expanded that concept and I made it even better!

And I've never abandoned the Modded Minecraft Universe concept. In fact, that is what I called the Central Universe.

But I don't want to spoil you everything.

I think you'll find all the informations about the Multiverse in Chapter Two. And trust me, the concept (at least for me) is really well-built!

My main sources of inspiration are all the things that I really like.

Animes, Movies, TV Series, Videogames...

And, my experience.

More specifically, I got inspiration from Star Wars, the Soulsborne games (Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne and Elden Ring), Minecraft, Harry Potter, Attack On Titan, Demon Slayer, and lots of others!!

And also, another main component is Music. I literally can't live without her. I write while listening to music, and I imagine thanks to music.

Like, YOUSEEBIGGIRL, Before Lights Out, Voices of the Chord, the Force Theme, 4N, Elden Ring's Main Theme, Footsteps of Doom, Malenia's Theme X Fall of Paradis, Elden Ring Main Theme (The Final Battle) X Apetitan and YOUSEEBIGGIRL, Enemy, Oogway Ascends Soul of Cinder, Slave Knight Gael... and my playlist actually continues almost endlessly lol

Without music, I wouldn't be able to create all this. Because music is what lets me express my feelings, that I translate/convert into epic fights, dramatic scenes, etc...

takt op. Destiny (pronounced “takt opus“) gracefully closes its curtains with a bittersweet finale. The MAPPA x Madhouse production was a very anticipated anime this season that was praised for its stunning art and animation. Although it had some weak moments, fans still came along to celebrate its unique flair for epic battles, elegant music, and nostalgic writing altogether. If you didn’t notice it already, takt op. Destiny was a prequel all along! That’s right — it’s only the end of the beginning. In this episode 12, Takt and Destiny enter the final battle. Can they keep their promise to Anna?To understand the anime, you have to first know that the title is actually a mixed-media project currently made of two parts — an anime and a mobile game. They have been teased together for months now and it’s a lot to be excited about. Honestly, though, I couldn’t help but wonder about some differences between them. If you’re curious about how they connect to takt op Destiny‘s finale, I encourage you to read on. Heavy spoilers below!What Happened to the Bad Guys?One of the main parts of takt op. Destiny episode 12 was the Destiny VS Orpheus battle. The sequence was incredible and it amuses me that it ends with a classic fistfight – just raw power and emotions. It’s in this moment that I appreciate Destiny’s character growth – from being robot-like to being the empathic and brave girl she is now.  Even though Hell and Heaven are seasoned Musicarts, Destiny overpowers Orpheus in terms of heart and spirit — “I won’t give up on what I want to save…I want to protect the path he’s advancing on and keep walking with him. The future I want to achieve is the world he expects.”Apparently, Orpheus isn’t really doing this to save the world but actually, to save Maestro Sagan from his insanity. I know they’re villains but this honestly, made me hate the girls less. However, they’re still Lenny’s murderers and for that, I am more than satisfied to see them defeated in battle.Ultimately, it’s all Sagan’s fault. He’s so messed up in the head that he created a grand plan to have the D2 kill the people off. It’s sickening and crazy! Sagan believes that pain, despair, and death is a noble sacrifice — a twisted meaning of his “beautiful and joyful” music. He’s so devoted to his own cause that he sacrifices his body too. (Thus the awkward suspended and impaled position.)“My comedy has come to an end” You don’t say, huh Sagan? As blunt as he has always been, Takt tells Sagan how much of a drama-queen he has been for overcomplicating his despair. It’s the same quote throughout the show — “Music illuminates hope” and its all about believing in that. Destiny eventually arrives and Takt ends Sagan. The crystals and the D2s collapse as well. In the end, the bad guys were finished off just like that.What Happened to Destiny?The final moments between Takt and Destiny were deeply beautiful. The battle had ended and so they were laying side-by-side, tired but appreciative of the music together. Even though their hands weren’t technically touching, it was a sweet scene. The orchestra music is just too pretty. Sadly, it doesn’t last as long as I hoped it would.When Takt fell asleep, Destiny bids her farewell to him. The scene shifts into a melancholic moment conveying her bittersweet happiness and love for the Maestro. At this point, I realize that she was actually ready for this outcome all along. She’d go above and beyond for her Maestro and his wishes, even though they were both dying. The promise she told Anna was genuine — she was going to bring back Takt no matter what.For the first and last time, Destiny calls her Maestro by his name, kisses him, and says “I love you.” If you’re like me when I was watching takt op. Destiny episode 12, I honestly couldn’t help but have the feels right then. The kiss was so sincere because we saw how she grew as a character all throughout the show. It’s too bittersweet to see her go… But then in doing so, she actually saves Takt’s life just like she promised. Destiny smiles sweetly before completely vanishing into thin air with only the wind blowing her roses away. In Takt’s dream, we see a final goodbye and gift from Cosette — the remains of their necklace. “Takt, I love you.”The art, the music, everything — it all makes for a superb heartfelt scene. This is no doubt the most momentous part of takt op. Destiny‘s finale. It’s most likely that Destiny released herself from the Conductor-Musicart contract and in turn, gave life back to Takt. (Who’s peeling onions for this finale?!)What Happened to Takt?The scene following right after shows an unconscious Takt alone on the beach. Charlotte is there, together with an ambulance and a worried Titan. The Symphonica specialist announces that she will do first aid and requests a low-temperature incubator. This implies that Takt proceeds with the planned treatment and that he would sleep until his full recovery.What Happened to Anna?Before takt op. Destiny episode 12 ends with its ending theme, (and hurts our feels for one last time again), Anna moves on forward like the strong woman that she is. “Before his treatment ends and he wakes up, I’ll do my best to accomplish a world that allows music to play freely. This is the wish they entrusted me..” She now wears a new haircut, a Symphonica uniform, and most importantly, Cosette and Destiny’s necklace.I’m sure a lot of the fans find the post-credit scene confusing. Remember when I said that this was a mixed media project? That the anime was actually a prelude to the game? If you didn’t know, the first trailer actually shows a glimpse of an older Maestro Takt and Musicart Destiny. That’s right, their story continues. Sort of.In the end, the story of the anime extends to the game’s story where Anna Schneider becomes the Musicart, Destiny. This aligns with the fact that Kaede Hondo is Destiny’s voice actor in the game! Honestly, I was so curious (and confused) about this credit before. However, now that it has officially happened, I can’t help but feel both amazed and sad about it.Anna in the anime finale VS Destiny in-game teaserYou see, Destiny was born from Cosette and the necklace. Then, Destiny was exhausted from all of her battles and sacrificed her life (and the remainder of Cosette) for Takt. Now, all that is left of these two girls is the necklace. Anna is our only protagonist left and it’s just natural for her strong character to succeed in their wishes for fulfilling a music-filled world. Anna is not just an ordinary member of Symphonica, but a special Musicart at that! It’s no other than the girl in red, Destiny. This is how the takt op. Destiny finale gracefully fades to black.takt op. Destiny Finale Marks the Game’s BeginningAll in all, for an anime made for promoting the game, takt op. Destiny’s finale wrapped up pretty nicely as it could have. I honestly had a lot of fun with the road trip and the moments in between. The unique character developments and world-building are enough to get you invested. Even though the plot dragged in the middle, the unraveling of the finale makes it all worth it. One of the highlights of takt op. Destiny is its thoughtful writing around the themes of love, music, and emotions. For example, the epic episode 8 portrayed what it meant to let go of someone. I found that especially moving.Cosette’s last appearancetakt op. Destiny shines best with its aesthetic visuals, stunning animation, emotional music, and my personal favorite, the beautiful character designs. The voice actors also did a wonderful job. Props to everyone at MAPPA and Madhouse who made this show awesome! This anime may not have been at the top this season, but nevertheless, it has been a delightful watch.You know, Cosette will always be my best girl, along with Titan too. Destiny’s fascination for sweets is a fond memory. And Lenny will always be… well, best ara ara. Personally, I found Sagan’s antagonist backstory a bit weak. If there was another episode to expand on his character, maybe it would have hit differently. The love triangle (or whatever shape it is was) also ceases to exist, and it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I guess it’s because the kisses, including the one in the last episode, are all so sweet and from such a heartfelt place. The fact that Takt cannot react to it is also one of the best and bittersweet parts about it.The necklace connecting everyoneAdditionally, you can check out the website to read some of the comics and intermezzo stories/compositions on the website. While there are still a lot of unanswered questions from the anime, I suppose that it will be explained soon in the game. After all, the game trailer shows Anna/Destiny welcoming Takt back home…Lastly, the original character design, LAM, made an illustration in celebration of the takt op. Destiny finale. TXT's "Frost" Music Video Is An Actual Masterpiece

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (aka TXT) can do no wrong, and their latest video is the ultimate display of their talents. The K-Pop band has finally unveiled their music video for “Frost,” and it’s one of their most magical yet. Between fortune tellers and time travel, the TXT guys took the ultimate journey in the “Frost” music video, and it’s a must-see for MOA everywhere.

TXT officially released the “Frost” video on Oct. 27, and it was everything fans had hoped for and more. While the band had been dropping hints about what MOA could expect through teaser posters on Twitter, the visual was one of their most theatrical to date. In the clip, the bandmates go through a portal to enter a brand new world where they encounter a fortune teller. In that world, each individual bandmate receives a card that tells their destiny.

The “Frost” music video is as meaningful as it is magical. As explained in an official press release, the song and video tells the story of a boy who learns of his given fate, and likens his “confused and chaotic” state of mind to "frost."

“Frost” was featured as a B-side track on TXT’s second studio album The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, and later appeared on the band’s repackaged version, The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE. In an exclusive interview with Elite Daily in August, the band further explained the meaning behind the repackaged album.

“[The album] takes us further into how this boy feels about the love that has turned his world upside down,” Soobin said. “Because of his love, he isn’t content with staying frozen. He wants to take action and change things for the better — not only for himself, but for her.”

Now, with the release of their “Frost” video, TXT took their narrative one step further. It’s a moment so epic, it’s worthy of being frozen in time.

Let’s talk about things that make WWX’s donghua character song 造化 (Zao Hua) amazing.

(If you haven’t heard it before, go!  Do it now!)

To start, the music is gorgeous.  You’ve got a dramatic intro, then the instrumentation drops to almost nothing, then builds back up across the verses.  It’s the same melodies but the instrumentation changes everything.  The first half-verse is very quiet, reflective.  At the start of the second verse, there’s an almost militant quality that I love, followed by the soaring strings right before the second chorus. The second repetition of the chorus is so much more intense than the first.

Within the overall buildup, there's a lot of ebb and flow. It's very dramatic.

Then, of course, the lyrics!

[Disclaimer: I am absolutely not qualified to translate this song.  I’m not trying to present a full translation, just translated snippets - tending on the literal side - to help non-Chinese speakers (among whom I count myself) appreciate what I’m talking about. Particularly questionable translations in italics.]

First, duality is everywhere.

Now, Chinese is full of compounds that are created by putting together words of opposite meaning, so their presence alone isn’t anything notable.  But there are lots of them.  (A disproportionate number, I feel, when compared to other MDZS song lyrics.)  And it’s not just in individual compounds.

Look at the hook(?):

宿命浅 情义深 造化 Our destiny was shallow[1], our feelings were deep, such is my good fortune

Which is immediately followed by:

风无羁 月无暇[2] The wind is without restraint, the moon is without flaw

Some examples of the frequent use of antonym compounds:

葬是非功过 Bury the right or wrong, merits and demerits

又一程 是非曲 善恶谣 Another journey, songs of right and wrong, good and evil

And then you have the epic bridge:

善与恶 后人说 孰真孰假 Good and evil, later generations will say who were true, who were false

  Next, look at the way the chorus evolves. It's so beautiful, and it captures WWX's happy ending!

(I've read people say that the song is about his past, present, and future, and I think that's right. But it would take translating the whole song to fully capture that, and I'm already pushing my limits, so I'm just going to highlight some shifts in the chorus between the first two and the final repetition.)

Originally:

Prison breaks and Sokka x Suki and the Zuko and Sokka bromance already made this great. But that Ty Lee, Mai betrayal at the end? GOLDEN

4. The Cross Roads of Destiny

Stellar character conflicts and inner turmoil. Heart wrenching. Dramatic. Makes you want to shake Zuko while still understand why he made his mistakes. Also, Azula is a stone cold bad ass and can shoot me with lightning anytime

3. The Blind Bandit

Her name is Toph. It sounds like tough. This has one of my favorite action sequences. Toph is welcome to kick my ass. I’d thank her for it.

2. Southern Raiders

I’m a Zutara. You know why this is here.

1. Sozin’s Comet, the four part finale.

Listen, I like good endings. I like endings that do the characters justice. I like happy endings that are earned through suffering. So this finale is great. Zuko and Katara vs Azula is still one of the best fights to ever happen. Aang’s final show down with the Fire lord is stunning. The White Lotus going to town is breath taking. Zuko and Aang hug and the balance is restored. Love it. Best episode. 10/10

A year had passed

October 11th 2017. 

You gazed outside the hospital you work in, taking a deep breath as the view of construction filled the huge glass window. This was you're longest break for today, it's been ten minutes since someone last paged you and you found it bizarre. But who are you to complain? You're just doing your job, like your boyfriend who's somewhere out there in that building.

You smiled as you remembered him stepping back into the world, after his tragic injury from exactly one year ago. To which you didn't know most of the events that occurred, but you fully remembered how you were there to save his life.

There was some sort of war just by Hotel Lustig, you didn't care much as that day brought in waves of injured persons that the events outside the hospital were too unimportant. But you believed he was one of the persons who got injured by the blast, and it was something only you could fix. 

You took a deep breath, holding your emotions as you remember the first moment you met him. His face was almost lifeless, his pulse was faint but it was there. He had no ID but his uniform told you he was O-Pos.

"We're going to need lots of bags for this man. Hurry and contact the blood bank!" You instructed as you forcefully tore his shirt, which was originally white but now drowned in crimson and reeked of rust. A huge reopened fleshwound from a poorly made stitch, you evaluated. Maybe he didn't have the resources from when he first got operated and now it came back to haunt him. You expertly did your thing as the nurses behind you quickly assisted you, trying to impress you as they aspire to be part of the program. 

It took you almost two hours until the life slowly went back to his face. A face you have been staring at every chance you have. A face you hoped to see smile someday. Then there it was, a stable heartbeat. Nurses cheered around you as well as those watching from above. He lived.

"Doctor L/N!!" Someone called over the walkie talkie. You quickly snapped back to reality and replied with urgency. It's your boyfriend. He broke his arm while on construction.

You pushed the double doors open as soon as you reached the emergency room. You could spot him from afar as his haircut stood out from the crowd, a mohawk that you grew to love.

"John!"  You gasped and rushed to his aid, as the nurse secured the strap of his sling.

"Love! I'm glad to see you here." he grinned, almost looking proud at his injury. He looked like he just got a new tattoo or something. Far from the emotion of being hurt.

"What happened? Does it hurt?" you checked his chart, momentarily looking at him.

"Just a minor fall. That ladder was not as stable as it looked." he chuckled, his other hand held yours and you quickly looked at him in the eye. Lost in his cold blue orbs, your heart thumped as his eyes told you he was fine and how you looked beautiful in that outfit.

"What about your wound? Did it hurt after the fall?" You shook yourself off from his trance and unbuttoned his shirt, checking for signs of reopening.

"Whoa whoa whoa. Not here and not now, Love. Lot's of people are watching." he joked, you sigh at his attitude towards the situation. He was too chill about this.

"So, when will you be off?" he winked as he comfortably sat on he hospital bed, tapping the other side, inviting you to sit down.

"I'm actually off duty now." you reply as you accept his invitation and sunk your ass on the soft matress beside him, pulling the sky blue curtain inward, covering the two of you from the public eyes.

You slowly leaned on his strong shoulders, shoulders that you massaged after his recovery so he could stand up again, shoulders you leaned on when you were having trouble at work. You felt his arm wrap around you, his hands grazed through your coat as he slowly rubs it against your arm.

"Guess I'm driving home." you chuckled and he laughed, looking at you as he held your cheek. 

"Does my insurance cover my fees here?" he asked, breaking the vibe of whatever you were both feeling. 

"I'll check on it later. For now, let's take you home."

"Sounds good to me."

You slumped yourself on your side of the bed, leaning to a peacefully sleeping John MacTavish beside you. You stared at the scar on his chest as it rises and falls in sync with his breathing, your night music just before falling asleep. 

You remembered how you carefully stitched his wound, how you poured out your heart to save this person, a person who didn't mean to you the moment you saw him but now means the whole world to you. 

Putting your finger on his scar, you slowly traced its tracks across his chest, enjoying the feel of his skin. He snorted and slowly opened his eyes, smiling at the view.

"Hey you." he whispered, moving your hair behind your ear pulling you over for a kiss. You didn't hesitate but you were cautious, you were careful not to hit his injured arm. But all that focus began to fade away as your lips met his, tongues clashed in an epic battle of passion like two expert fencing athletes on a clash to see who's the best.

You gasped as you broke the kiss, panting and smiling as his blue eyes sparkled against the moonlight outside the window.

"It's been a year since I first saw you, my angel. Don't think that I forgot about that." he murmured. His Scottish accent sounded so well, you can't get enough of it, it's as if each word vibrated across your body.

You slowly lifted your leg and straddled on him, positioning your ass on a spot that's going to make him beg. He grunted softly as you detected the tone of lust from him. He was clearly enjoying the tease, so you raised your eyebrows at him and slowly shook your hips teasingly against him.

"Are we really going this way?" he complained as his hand reached out to your hips, sliding below your shirt and letting his electric touch on your hip send shivers down your spine. His thumbs make its way just below your breasts, the tip of the big finger grazing the lower part of your left breast.

"Which way?" you asked teasingly as you feel his manhood slowly grow. You pull the string that held his sweatpants and ran your hands across his abs, feeling each bump, admiring his feel.

"This way." he smirked as he thrusted his hips upward, making you yelp in surprise. Looks like he's trying to turn back the tables which is something you always loved. Him in charge. The thought made your hairs rise, as you remembered all those times he did it in this apartment ; in the showers, in the kitchen, by the dining table oh and this exact bed.

One thing led into another until you found yourself on all fours, facing the wall as you whimpered in pain as his cock slowly slid on your wet opening. He once told you that he hated dogs, but that didn't stop him from using this position, but this time only one hand was tightly gripping your plump ass.

You let out short gasps as he picks up his pace, the creaking sound of the bed got louder and louder as his thrusts became faster and deeper. You moaned on his every thrust, mentally noting the feel of his whole manhood inside of you. How his tip interacted with your sensitive walls. You whimpered in surprise but as soon as he stopped, you gripped his back signaling him to keep doing it. You could feel his cast rest on your breasts as he picks up the pace once again, this time the bed was shaking dangerously, creaking loudly while doing so. You both ignored this as the loud clapping of your skin mixed with your collective grunts, groans and moans rung on your ears while your mind swirled in a pleasure filled moment.

"That we did." you replied and smiled at him, thanking the threads of destiny that you met this wonderful man on this fateful day, one year ago.

This may be one of those series you always saw around but never watched but if there was ever a time to binge, it's now!

With the manga receiving much praise, probably one of the most anticipated anime adaptations for 2021 is Tokyo Revengers. Motivated by tragedy, Takemichi Hanagaki finds himself in the past, climbing the ranks of the Tokyo Manji Gang in order to change destiny. He may not appear the toughest, but he's determined to get through the intense situations he finds himself in.

      10. To Your Eternity

Knowing this is a story from Yoshitoki Oima, creator of A Silent Voice, To Your Eternity, will surely be an adventure that tugs on your heartstrings. Audiences will witness an intimate journey of life and death revolving around an emotionless orb with no identity but can take the shape of those around it.       11. Shaman King

A Shaman King reboot was the best present fans of the original series could've gotten as the title just marked its 20th year since the show premiered back in 2001. Fans will be transported back to their childhood, all the while looking forward to a new story that reflects the manga. The series recently aired in April in Japan, and fans in North America can expect to watch the series sometime later this year. 

        12. Horimiya

  If you've been searching for a romance anime unlike any other, then you should watch Horimiya if you haven't already. This series takes everything you know about anime romance tropes, and delivers a series of fresh new twists, making for a warm and cozy viewing experience.

    13. Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

If in between all the action and comedy you need a good slice of life series about friendship, Anohana is the series for you! The original series aired 10 years ago, but sometimes a trip down memory lane is exactly what you need. Plus a new visual and news of an upcoming project will surely get you pumped to hit play.

      14. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2

Thinking he'd be the hero in this new fantasy world, Naofumi Iwatani ended up being hated, shunned, and stigmatized at the beginning of The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 1. But as he journeyed on, he developed genuine relationships, gained valuable trust, credibility, and gratitude from others. Season 2, airing in October, is ready to continue with Naofumi's journey and progression.

        15. Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S

Miss Kobayashi Dragon Maid has it all! This series draws you in with its cute appearance, but it surprises you with its mature moments and shocks you with some unexpected sizzle. Plus it has dragons, maids, and sweet raps! Be sure to check out the second season's adventures this July. 

    16. One Piece

  If you haven't already committed to the legendary behemoth One Piece, now may be a good time to start. The anime is set to hit its 1,000th episode this year, and while diving into a series that's so far along can seem intimidating, if you've been spending a lot of time binging TV lately, this series could be your next big marathon.

      17. S8 the Infinity

Take the Tony Hawk Pro Skater video games, and mix them together with vibrant, aesthetically pleasing animation and cool action scenes and you have S8 the Infinity. Sports anime has been really expanding its catalog lately, and this series is an entertaining addition to the genre.

  18. The Wallflower

A little bit of nostalgia is nice to mix into your anime watchlist. If you're a fan of Ouran High School Host Club, then you'll love The Wallflower! It's got some handsome boys, a cute and quirky girl with a fascination for all things dark and scary, and all the ridiculous antics of a harem!

      19. Death Parade

Death Parade has stayed under the radar, but it at least deserves to be on YOUR radar. A story about the afterlife where a bar represents limbo and its bartender decides the fate of the souls in front of him whether they experience reincarnation, or disappear into the void by playing a game. This is a psychological, thought-provoking drama with some mystery, as we don't know the true nature of the people in the bar, or what led them to where they are. Those secrets will eventually be revealed as the game plays on.

    20. Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Like Hunter X Hunter, this year also marks the 10-year anniversary of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Madoka was and to this day still is a defining series that was a real game-changer for the magical girl genre, showing just how much danger magical girls face. It's a must-watch if you haven't already, so make a contract with yourself to watch or re-watch this series sometime in 2021.  

    21. How To Keep A Mummy

  How To Keep A Mummy is a heartwarming episodic series to watch when you want to have a feel-good time! Friends and classmates spend time together with their mythical creature companions: A precious, tiny mummy who anytime he holds anything will make your heart melt, a somewhat hot-headed but caring oni, a clever dragon, and a fluffy baku. After catching up on everything on your watch list, have fun with this series to round out 2021.
