Yuno's Perspective

Yuno left to Vesuvia to set up shop and earn money for their family (mainly to support their siblings)

Their parents are dead :(

Yuno would send letters with money to Yuki and Yuu

When Yuno died due to the plauge, they stopped sending letters, causing a lot of concern with the two younger siblings.

By this point, Yuki was the breadwinner of the house, though both of the siblings would be transported to other worlds

Each of the siblings follows the main canon, if only some slight variations.

Mainly, with Yuno, they defeat the devil and ends up becoming friends with all the characters (Lucio isn't banished or whatever. He does step down as king and becomes Nadia's general tho)

Ok anyways Yuno didn't remember their siblings at all after they revived

Since they never mentioned their siblings often, Asra and Julian do not mention Yuki or Yuu to them

Only because Scout guided Yuno back to some of their old childhood memories did Yuno remember.

Yuno went on a journey to find their siblings again, only to find out that they had mysteriously dissapeared

Yuno is freaking out, unsure if they had left due to Yuno disappearing or if they had fallen victim to the Red Plauge

They're devastated, returning back to Vesuvia with a heavy heart.

When they do return, they focus on helping Nadia with improving the Vesuvia, traveling with Portia and Asra and establishing diplomatic relations, training with Lucio, helping the public with Julian, and going back to Muriel's ancestral home to tend to the graves

Then, one day, when Yuno is traveling, Scout appears. Curiously, Scout looks excited, tugging Yuno. They follow, unsure as to where the excited pup was guiding them.

Then, they come onto an empty field, standing on a rock. Confused, Yuno looked down, and saw their two siblings.

Cue a very tearful reunion between the siblings.

"Where were you??" "I died." "YOU WHAT?"

Yuki and Yuu were shocked to hear that Yuno had died due to the plague, but was later revived. Their siblings were disheartened to hear that they did not remember the two of them, however they are glad that Yuno went to look for them once they did remember

Now, Yuki and Yuu explain what they have been up to.

Yuno is shocked that they ended up in different worlds. Which is odd, but magic exists anything can really happpen.

They're about to throw hands with Crowley. How dare he leave their precious sibling in some run down building!? Did he even offer them food and water?

Yuno also feels terrible, wishing that they taught Yuu some simple magic spells that would've helped them during their time at NRC

Nearly dies of a heart attack after hearing how many times Yuu has almost died. Overblots? Hardly know 'em. Absolutely horrified at Twisted Wonderland's magic system

Yuki was in hell. Yuki was in hell.

Yuno's going to pull up to hell and beat up Belphegor for actually murdering Yuki. Even if they are alive.

Yuno is happy that Yuki knows magic, and is willing to teach Yuki more (Mostly self defense magic for...reasons)

Now Yuno wants to meet Yuki and Yuu's friends/found family and make sure that they're being treated with the love that they themselves couldn't give them.

It’s possible for siblings with the same parents to look very different, but that’s the exception and not the rule. More often than not, you would expect siblings to have more than a few visual similarities.

I am also aware of the complexity of genetics, but we are not talking about real people. These are characters created and refined by a team of people to create and market a game. These characters were not created in a vacuum and do not currently exist in a vacuum. As characters, they are limited to the knowledge & biases of their creators and the knowledge & biases of the consumers.

Canonically, Julian and Portia do have the same hair texture, but not the same hair color. Portia’s hair color is orange, and Julian’s hair color is more red.

What you said about Portia and Julian not having any similar features like, EXACTLYYY I find that crazy i was kinda surprised when i figured out they're siblings at first!! I rlly love how you draw them though <333

It doesn’t make any sense to me! They look so dissimilar it’s a little jarring. I understand the in-story need to make it so that 1. It’s not immediately obvious that they’re related and 2. two main characters don’t look like carbon copies of one another….. but still the lack of sibling resemblance feels leaps and bounds too far.

The AU's slightly underbaked and needs workshopping, but here's how it's gonna be like

Asra (Awassi sheep)

- Asra, along with Aisha and Salim, are Egyptians who moved over to Vesuvia a few years before Lucio commissioning them

- Aisha and Salim in this universe are top of the line prosthetists, so when a "business meeting" went awry and Lucio lost a limb, of course he must get THE best of the best

- Unfortunately, Lucio is also a paranoid little freak and thought the Alnazars knew too much, so he planted fake charges on them and "disappeared" them, leaving Asra all alone

- He met Muriel when he wandered in the BAM, being the curious and adventurous kid that he is

- He's still working as a cartomancer within Vesuvia. How he becomes entangled into the main plot remains to be determined (help me)

Nadia (Marwari horse)

- The Satrinavas are straight up the Royal Family of Jaipur in Rajasthan. With horses being more matriarchal, Nasrin's the head of the household

- Though their power is more ceremonial now, they're not idle either. Nasrin and Namar have ventures in hospitality and frequently sponsor cultural initiatives. The other Satrinavas have their own thing going on too. Nadia Satrinava meanwhile, has been interested in politics from a very young age

- She struck me as a law/political science girlie, with a minor in engineering. She wasn't the most sociable student either, only having a few friends here and there and mostly focusing on just studying

- Nadia met Lucio in a posh gala back in India she only went to for networking. They start hitting it off and it ends in Lucio drunkenly proposing marriage, and Nadia drunkenly accepting

- Naturally, the Satrinavas didn't approve of him much. Around a month after the marriage, she had a huge argument with Nasrin that ended with her walking out of their home and limiting contact with them for about a decade

- As you could probably predict, the marriage broke down very quickly, hastened by Lucio's apathy and cruelty during the plague, which still happens in this universe, just with modern medicine and quarantine protocols. The isolation from the quarantine and the effective dissolution of their marriage drove Nadia into a pit of deep depression, which she numbed with work and alcohol

- The only thing she knows about the last Masquerade in the present was that "something" happened, and her car was crashed while she was driving. Her injuries were severe enough that she fell into a coma for three years.

- Miraculously, and with the Satrinavas spending top dollars for medical equipment, she managed to wake up from her coma, but not unscathed. In addition to migraines, partial amnesia and head splitting migraines, she had to deal with muscle atrophy and needed extensive physical therapy. Currently she wears leg braces and owns a cane

I'll post a part 2 covering Lucio, Muriem and the Devorak siblings because this post is long enough and I'm pretty tired (and also their lore is pretty sparse at the moment)

hey! i've been doing some thinking, and have some questions on fictionkin! I'm trying to figure out if I'm fictionkin, specifically for Snowfall (WoF) or if it's something else.

I've been thinking about it for a couple days, and the main thing that put the idea in my head was remembering a dream I had a couple years ago. I woke up (in the dream) as Snowfall. I was in what I envisioned her bedroom to look like, I sat up in bed, and I remember thinking that I had to do something with Lynx (one of her friends). Then I woke up (actually).

I'm also curious how gender works, if that makes sense? I'm transmasc and nonbinary, but Snowfall's a girl, and I'm curious about that.

Sorry if this is rambly or too much/little information /gen! This is a newer idea for me, and all the research I've done has been confusing! Thanks! ^^

You’re completely fine. To start off we’ll talk about gender of a kin/theriotype. No, the gender of the character doesn’t have to match up with what you identify as. I happen to be lucky enough that mine do, but not everyone does. If Snowfall feels like you, there’s a high chance that she is.

I personally don’t have much experience on having a fictionkin that is not almost 100% human. So my best advice is to see if there’s anything else that connects you to Snowfall.

What really kinfirmed my Julian Devorak fictotype was that we shared uncanny similarities. I looked better with a shade of auburn in my hair (I’m a natural blonde). We both have a full blooded sibling that was younger than us. We both have a connection to The Hanged Man tarot card. These are to name a few of several things. What’s important to figuring out if you’re fictionkin to any fictional character is that you identify as that character as you would any other creature/animal for otherkin/therian.

A fun fact about my fictotype as well! I had a dream once about being Julian as well. I never really knew the term fictionkin.

All in all, this is to say that Snowfall being a girl will not affect your identity. She just happens to be a girl in the media she comes from and you’re Transmasc and non-binary. As well as that all you have to make sure is that you do identify as her. Try testing it out, see if it sticks. It doesn’t hurt to see how things work out
