A Deep Dive into Die Casting Varieties, Benefits and Applications
Using high pressure, molten metal is injected into a cavity that has been pre-designed in a die casting process. The mold, often referred to as a die, is normally constructed of hardened steel and is divided into two halves: the fixed cover die and the moveable ejector die. To give the finished product the correct shape, the dies are carefully machined.
Tumblr media
Die Casting Varieties Die casting may be divided into two main categories: hot chamber casting and cold chamber casting. In hot chamber die casting, a pool of molten metal, often zinc, is submerged underneath the injection mechanism. Although it might not be appropriate for metals with greater melting points, this technique works best for those with low melting points. On the other hand, cold chamber die casting includes ladling molten metal into a different chamber from which it is injected into the die. Higher melting point metals, including copper and aluminum, can be cast using die casting services.
Benefits Die casting is favored by many industries because of its many benefits, including:
The high degree of precision and minute details
Excellent aesthetic appeal and surface quality
Considering the high production rates and low cost, it is suitable for large-scale manufacturing.
The capacity to create intricate designs with thin walls and delicate features
Many different metals and alloys can be cast.
Due to the process's accuracy, little post-processing is needed.
Applications Die casting has a variety of uses in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, and consumer products sectors, among others. It is employed to make parts for appliances, electrical enclosures, engine blocks, transmission housings, and more. Die casting's adaptability enables producers to successfully satisfy the demands of numerous industries.
Conclusion Die casting has established itself as a crucial industrial process that combines accuracy, effectiveness, and adaptability. Die casting continues to make a significant contribution to the manufacturing of a wide variety of goods across several sectors because of its capacity to produce complicated metal components with extreme precision and surface polish. We may anticipate more improvements to die-casting techniques by die casting manufacturers as technology develops, which will eventually produce even more extraordinary outcomes and novel uses.

Reasons to Use Aluminum for Die-Casting
There are various popular processes you can use to form aluminum; however, one of the most common processes that a designer considers is aluminum die casting.
Nowadays, Aluminium Die Casting Companies use the method for many automotive, industrial, and telecommunication products. In fact, it is also utilized to create electrical hydraulic, and lighting components.
Tumblr media
Overview of Aluminum Die Casting
To put it simply, it is a metal-forming process that enables the design of intricate aluminum parts. To initiate the process aluminum alloys are heated to excessively high temperatures until they are molten.
Furthermore, under high pressure, liquid aluminum is inserted into the hole of the steel die. Since the die is made up of two halves, the solid molten aluminum gets separated and displays the aluminum part. The product is developed explicitly with a soft texture and usually needs the tiniest and no machining process.
Tumblr media
The Advantages of Aluminum Die-Casting
Its Weight
Aluminum is hugely favored for its lightweight quality. Since it is the lightest metal, it is no great surprise that Aluminum Die-Cast parts are highly sought after in the aviation and motor industries.
Flexibility
Are you looking for a metal that’s easy to work? Aluminium is the answer! Since it is the second malleable metal and ductile – it is hard to beat in terms of flexibility.
Conductivity
Aluminum is a great electrical and thermal conductor. Though copper is even more conductive – it is heavier which can often be a disadvantage. It is only a third of the weight of copper. Adding to the fact, that aluminum is non-sparking – it is the chosen metal for various applications including electrical products, computer parts, and LED lighting.
Resistance to Corrosion
Thanks to the strong oxide film – it forms on the surface of aluminum when it is exposed to air or water. It is highly resistant to corrosion. The coat of aluminum oxide hardens the surface and keeps the metal free from corrosion.
Bottom Line
Aluminium is 100% recyclable. Aluminum can be melted down and reused without its favorable quality. Apart from the topmost quality – there are more advantages to using aluminum in die casting.

Prompt by @thatlittlefirestarter:
Leader wants to protect their team from whumper who chase them because of their teammates' powers/abilities. BUT is the only member without any power. During the escape mission whumper promises to themselves that they will catch them and kill leader in the most brutal possibile way in front of their teammates
Bonus: leader wants to sacrifice themselves and lets their team run away from whumper because they know that is coming for them
Surprise
• Masterlist •
Warnings: Superpowers, self-sacrifice, used as a bait, thoughts of death.
To navigate in a world where the powers ruled, you had to have power. Leader was an exception, an anomaly. An anomaly that was still, after everything, alive.
And running for dear life.
Their mind was also running plans as they ran, none of which resulted in their survival. But it was not important. Leader saw one that led to their team's survival, and that was the way they chose to die.
"Right from the first turn," Leader muttered to their earpiece. They were running far behind the team, which was not ideal, but it at least gave a reason to Leader to force the team to leave them behind, even if a little bit. It was enough of an opening that Leader could use when the time came.
Leader could hear Whumper shouting, the narrow halls carrying the sound further than it meant. The base was not very suitable for breaking in and out because of that, but somehow, Leader succeeded in getting inside and was about to secure a way out for their team.
Leader knew they weren't the target, but they were one of the only ways for Whumper to break the team— if the team knew what Whumper was doing to Leader. It was almost impossible since Leader had started a lockdown with no way to cancel, and they had broken the signal suppliers. There was no way to fix it. In a few moments, this base was going to be a tomb for the thousand people still inside.
Except for the team, Leader hoped.
"Down the stairs," Leader instructed through the earpiece. They could hear the team’s heavy breathing and hurried footsteps echoing back. "There's an exit to the south. Keep moving."
They rounded a corner to the left and spotted the shadow of Whumper drawing closer. The base’s dim, flickering red lights cast an eerie glow on the walls, sirens wailing loud enough to hurt their ears.
"I will kill your leader in front of you for this!" Whumper growled.
"Leader, should we slow down?" Right Hand's voice crackled over the earpiece, the worry and desperation almost causing Leader to hesitate.
"I'm right behind you. Just keep going," Leader lied, their heart pounding with the knowledge that they were sealing their own fate. They couldn't let the team know the truth—they had to focus on escaping. With their heart aching, they added. "I'll catch up."
Leader took the stairs up, one that led them deeper into the base. They needed to buy their team the precious time they needed. At least they were sure Whumper would follow. Leader never parted from their team ever since they were stripped of their own powers. If one followed Leader they would reach the team; it was the truth, but not this time.
They reached a dead end—a storage room. Perfect. Leader slipped inside and left the door open. The sound of footsteps quickened. Whumper was coming. Leader’s breath came in ragged gasps as they prepared themselves. They had one job left; making sure Whumper didn’t realise the team was getting away until it was too late.
"Out and waiting for you, Leader."
Leader breathed, looking at their clock. "I'm sorry," they choked out when the timer hit zero. The loud sound of metal doors falling filled the base, and Leader took out the earpiece as the team began yelling at them. They crushed it with their boots, destroying the only way to contact outside for everyone.
"Surprise!" Leader chirped when they heard the footsteps close.
Whumper slowed down and stepped inside after almost missing the room, a cruel smile spreading across their face. “Caught you at last, Leader.”
"Took you long enough,” Leader said, putting a note of defiance into their voice to hide their fear.
"Where is my prize?"
Leader looked Whumper in the eye, unwavering. “You’ll never find them.”
Whumper snarled and lunged, but Leader was ready. They dove to the side, grabbing a metal pipe from the floor and swinging it with all their might. The pipe connected with a satisfying thud, and Whumper staggered back, momentarily dazed.
Using the brief reprieve, Leader dropped the pipe and dashed out of the storage room, leading Whumper on a wild chase through the maze-like corridors. They could hear Whumper’s angry shouts echoing behind them, but they pushed forward, driven by sheer willpower.
Leader’s only goal was to keep Whumper occupied for as long as possible. They knew the base like the back of their hand due to the leaked blueprints. They used this knowledge to their advantage, weaving through the labyrinthine hallways, always staying just out of reach.
Minutes felt like hours, but finally, Leader’s strength began to wane. They stumbled into a larger chamber, breathing heavily. This was it—the end of the line.
Whumper burst in, fury etched across their face. “Nowhere left to run, Leader.”
Leader straightened, wiping sweat from their brow. “You have nothing else to say than what's obvious?”
"Tell me where my prize is!"
Leader chuckled. "I’d rather die."
Whumper's eyes darkened with rage, and they motioned to the guards waiting at the door. "That can be arranged."
Leader lived longer than they thought. While it didn't mean they wanted to die, there were fates worse than death. “You know,” Leader muttered, their tone casual despite the tension in the air, gripping their throat. “For someone so desperate to win, you sure do take your time. Afraid you can’t handle me on your own?”
Whumper’s face twisted in anger. “You insolent—” they stopped. They took a deep breath and smiled. They talked with a coldness that caused Leader to take a shuddering breath. "You're not important enough for my anger. You're just a small obstacle in the way. But perhaps you can be a way to get my anger over other things out."

Hunter and Hunted
Disavowed (Krauser x GN! Reader/Krauser x Leon) - Chapter 3
2002
Krauser learns why Leon was sent to Mixcóatl, and danger makes itself apparent.

June 29th, 2002
11:01
Mixcóatl, Amazon Rainforest
“What the hell are you doing here?” That was really the only question that mattered. Krauser asked it as soon as he and Leon righted themselves, as soon as they realized they could maybe take a moment. Krauser knew better than anyone that the jungle was just as much a death trap as the village nearby, but still, he needed to know. He needed to know why he was staring at Leon fucking Kennedy of all people, why he’d arrived minutes after Jack had been forced to kill the last of his men. He would know.
Any clever remark was drowned in the tide of confusion that washed over Leon’s face, and Krauser was given another question in place of an answer as the shorter man took up his fallen pistol.
“I could ask you the same thing.”
It wasn’t the first time the rookie had said something that pissed Krauser off, though this time, admittedly, it was through no fault of his own. No, rather, it was the fact that he was even asking that set fire to Krauser’s heart. Had they - that ever-present and all-powerful they - dropped this man in the jungle in hostile territory without telling him what he’d be facing? What had killed the men he was being sent to reinforce?
Or had they not told Leon of Krauser’s presence for another reason?
“They didn’t say I was here?” The Major felt like he was only now realizing the extent of the trap they’d set for him. “They didn’t tell you about the whole fucking team they sent down here?”
That confusion only rose, enough to drown any other emotion on Leon’s, but it was gone in a moment. Something else took its place then, a far cry from the bright-eyed rookie Krauser had been saddled with training, once. This expression . . . it was a grim acceptance. One highlighted by dark circles framing those once-bright eyes. “No,” he shook his head. “No, they didn’t.”
Krauser’s own eyes narrowed, and he fought back the urge to snarl. To rage at nothing and everything and tear the whole world apart.
Leon wasn’t here to reinforce him. He was never meant to find Krauser in the first place. No one was.
All at once, Krauser’s suspicions were confirmed, the nightmare he’d feared becoming reality.
He’d been cast aside. He and nine other men and women. Not just ignored but brushed under the rug completely. They hadn’t said that he and his team were there in Mixcóatl because they didn’t want them found.
“You weren’t sent here alone?” Leon asked, dread weighing down his words.
Krauser’s own words tasted of bile. “No. There were ten of us.” Ten people who had been sent here to die.
Leon didn’t need to be told that Krauser was all that remained. That much was clear from his expression.
No time to mourn. Not now. Mourning wouldn’t put Javier Hidalgo in the ground.
“So what did they tell you?” Krauser asked,
The younger man’s full lips pressed tightly together, his eyes wavering in focus for a moment under the heat of Krauser’s stare. “That Javier Hidalgo was in possession of bioweapons,” he began, “and that someone from Umbrella was his supplier. I’m supposed to confirm that and bring the Umbrella contact in alive for questioning.”
Krauser finally understood what people meant when they talked about having the rug pulled out from under them. The whole world seemed to be tilting as Leon spoke, skewing to some awful new perspective. One that Leon was heralding to him. Ever the man to make Krauser’s world just a little darker, wasn’t he?
No, that wasn’t fair. Krauser could almost hear your voice in his mind reminding him of that. There were many people to blame in this, and Leon Kennedy wasn’t one of them.
Didn’t help, though, that he hadn’t even been sent to kill the man who’d caused all this carnage and destruction.
They hadn’t sent Leon here for him, they’d sent him for someone else. Someone they wanted-
“Alive?”
Leon nodded, even with the Major’s anger flaring in front of him . . .
He didn’t get the chance to speak whatever words were forming in his throat. Not when the crack of branches nearby made both men freeze. Krauser’s gaze turned towards the tree line, the shadows that he knew from experience could hold any horror imaginable. And he knew, even if he couldn’t see what it was, that they were being watched.
Too much noise.
They’d been making too much noise and-
Focus. He’d often berated Leon with that word, and now he was the one who needed to be reminded of it. They were in the shit now, they had to deal with it first and foremost. The anger could wait. It could simmer, or spark like a long fuse burning down towards something. That was all he could afford because it wasn’t just his safety he had to account for, now. For better or worse, Leon was with him.
And regardless of how things had turned out, Krauser knew that you would never forgive him if Leon Kennedy’s name was added to the list weighing on his conscience.
He knew that he’d never forgive himself, either.
So, Krauser’s hand came up, forming signals that he’d taught the man in front of him, all those years ago. Signals any soldier should know. Freeze. Leon obeyed, the two of them scanning their surroundings. When no more noise followed, Krauser made more signals. Forward. Danger. And then one that Krauser and the STRATCOM recruits he’d trained had come to know well. Bioweapons. Leon didn’t miss a beat, because of course he didn’t. He just nodded, the grip on his pistol tightening.
They moved through the foliage - Leon was quieter, now. Taking care to step where Krauser stepped, to silence his footfalls as best he could. He didn’t need to be told of the danger. Few in the world understood it better.
Even so, Krauser found himself wanting to look back more than he should, feeling like the jungle was pressing in around them, its sounds hiding any and all number of threats.
They needed to get out, and there was only one place that Krauser could think to go; the village that he and his men had made their way towards when they first arrived. The same one they’d only barely reached, before the nightmare had begun. The one they’d been routed from, driven deeper into the jungle.
And in that jungle, they’d been torn apart.
No, the village was the best bet, overrun or not. He and Leon just had to get there alive.
Alive.
They wanted the Umbrella scientist alive.
They wanted Javier alive. Or at least weren’t targeting him anymore.
And they’d left Krauser and his men for dead.
You’re an asset to them. Hadn’t he told Leon that, once? And now-
Focus.
He had to forge that anger into something useful. He’d done it before. He’d trained his entire life to learn to do it. Compartmentalize. Lock it away. Forget their faces because if he didn’t, another would be on his conscience. It didn’t matter if he was being burned up from the inside. It didn’t matter if he hadn’t slept or eaten or taken more than a few moments of rest.
He had to do this. He needed to do this.
He needed to get out of this jungle. To find Javier. To make him pay. To keep Leon-
Another distant crack, this one resounding through the trees like the distant thunder of an impending storm.
Krauser looked back just in time to see the forest move.
His knife was drawn, and his gun aimed in an instant because he knew an instant might be all they had. Leon did the same, ducking out of the way as something flew from the tree line. In a flutter of wings, the birds cut through the thick air, flitting past Leon’s head in a panic.
Mercifully, there were no talons to sink into flesh, no razor beaks to tear at skin. Only animals taking flight.
They weren’t the only ones.
As the two pressed on, more and more animals crossed their path. Monkeys swinging through the trees, more birds fleeing . . . all coming from the same direction. The same direction Krauser had come from himself, before he’d been forced to put Barnes down.
The same direction the cracking of branches was coming from.
They had to move.
Get to the village. That was what they had to do.
Krauser moved a little faster now, after hearing more noises from the trees. As he felt that undeniable weight of something being close to them. A presence lingering on the edges of his perception, one that made him grip his weapons tighter.
Leon fell in closer, his presence at Krauser’s back doing little to calm the Major’s nerves. Two sets of eyes were better than one, but two lives to safeguard . . .
Another snapping of branches.
That noise was getting further away from the sound of it. Still, Krauser didn’t let himself hope for the best.
How could he, when only a few minutes later he found himself stopping in his tracks?
Leon fell in at his side, those blue eyes going wide as the two beheld the warning written into the forest before them; a great swath of the jungle in front of them, maybe three or four feet wide and so long it disappeared into the trees on either side of them, was flattened, leaves and branches crushed into the mud. The path of the indentation curved and twisted like the bends of a river, carving a shallow ditch into the damp ground. Krauser’s brow pinched tight, his mind already coming to a terrible conclusion about what could have carved its signature into the earth like this.
That was when he realized, with his belly going cold, that the noise of the forest had stopped. Not just the snapping of wood, but the birds, the calls of other animals . . . all of it had given way to a terrible, still silence.
Krauser’s jaw tightened, his body feeling that familiar tension of getting ready for a fight, because after days of this, he knew that was what was coming. He’d been sent into this rainforest as a hunter, but now he was little more than prey. Him and Leon both. So, he looked to his side, to where Leon stood, just as tense. Just as ready for anything - his eyes sharp and his mind focused in a way that Krauser himself had honed in him. He didn’t look the part of the rookie anymore.
It made for a peculiar picture as orange flitted down from the sky on gentle wings.
The butterfly did nothing to disturb the silence as it fluttered past Krauser and towards Leon. It wasn’t bothered by the two men, both of them perfectly still, and flew around, landing on Leon’s shoulder opposite the Major. There it fluttered its wings once. Twice. Like the flashing of lights in warning.
And Krauser’s eyes widened as movement of another sort shifted in the shadows of the trees.
There was a hiss, a final crack of wood splintering, and then death sprung at them with too-wide open jaws.

Hello sabitos wife 🥺
Im taking the opportunity for you saying I could request a Nemi :)
Possibly if you are willing to do it, I’d want some apologetic Nemi. Maybe the situation is that Sanemi became quite distant from the reader (female reader) due to him getting upset over the reader getting heavily injured from a battle.
He kinda freaks out at her for getting injured and calls her weak and she just crys so he leaves and he doesn’t talk to her for a bit.
If the end could be fluff that would be great :) sanemi becomes a lil lonely boy and he apologies and becomes a little soft bean to her 🥺 takes care of her and stuff :3
Thank you once again for being my Nemi supplier. Your a great writer and person. I wish you the best in life 💗
Midday
Tumblr media
Pairing: Sanemi x reader
Category: angst to fluff
Warning(s)/note(s): fem! Reader, nemi can’t control that mouth of his
+Hiiiii tysm for the kind words, i hope you enjoy! 💕
Tumblr media
Maybe in a small part of your mind, you’d been hoping Sanemi would coddle you, for a lack of better word, upon seeing the blood soaking through the bandages on your forehead. He’d been alerted of your little run-in with that lower moon which had, you admit shamefully, gotten the better of you and leaving you with nasty lacerations. Sanemi had been on a mission of his own, but your crow had come back squawking that he was on the way back to Kocho’s estate.
Your expectations were were drowned out by the slamming of the shoji door when he strode into the room. He was covered in blood, and he looked a disheveled mess but his expression stayed hostile even when he bent down to your height. For three heartbeats, he said nothing, taking in your state, the bloodied bandages on your arms, legs and the square shaped cloth patched to your right cheek.
“What were you thinking, taking on a lower moon?”
You were unable to hide your frown at that. “I was on a mission, all the back-up teams had been destroyed-“
“And you could have been fucking destroyed too. Do you realize that?” You didn’t like his tone; too slow, he sounded like he was trying to make you understand something far too simple, showing a toddler how to walk.
“I know, Sanemi, but i had to help. In our line of work-“
“Our line of work doesn’t suit you, [Name]. You should quit.”
You opened your mouth to retort, but nothing came out. You were far too incredulous at the turn this reunion was taking. You were hurting, both physically and emotionally and needed kind words, maybe soothing silences. You didn’t need your lover rebuking you for trying to save lives. Particularly when he saw no problem with slicing his arm open to lure in demons with his blood. It occurred to you in a small part of your mind, that his being inconsiderate was probably just his concern for you, and he was only having trouble wording it out. But you were egged by his implication.
“Let me get a word in edgeways.” You uttered through gritted teeth. He clicked his tongue and cast his gaze to the ground. “You can’t tell me to quit. I’ll quit when i want to. So i got some cuts, i’m a fucking demon slayer, Shinazugawa. How many of us have died fighting? It comes with the job.” You hadn’t meant to use his last name, and his head shot up when you pronounced it but you were too angry, shocked and betrayed to think straight. The pain that emanated from your wounds helped you not.
« Those who die are weak. The ones that don’t last long are the ones that don’t got much fight in them, that passed Final Selection out of goddamn luck and you’re one of them! And you’re not gonna last long! You think you’re strong enough to take on a Lower Moon after what, killing a couple scrawny demons? And who saved you? Fucking Tomioka. » he was breathing hard now, and his fist came down on the bed beside you, bouncing off the soft mattress. You were trained not to be bothered by such inconveniences, but silence befell the room and you watched Sanemi catch his breath, yourself swallowing thickly, adjusting the pain in your throat while you forced yourself not to cry.
Neither of you spoke for the longest time, and even the outside of the room seemed quiet. There was no longer the faint buzz of voices from the nurses, the patients. Had they heard your outburst? When Sanemi got up, it was only to turn and leave without so much as a word of apology to you, a sign of remorse.
Your life, which had never been a smooth current of water, became all the more difficult. Sanemi avoided you for the longest time, taking on more missions, training for longer periods of time. When he’d call it a day, he’d stay out of the room you both slept it, away from you, locked up in his dojo. Night was the hardest time, when there was only silence with neither of you facing each other.
You truly had no idea what this degeneration was coming from, surely he wouldn’t stop talking to you.. only because he thought you were weak? You’d told yourself to give him since you knew he had quite the anger issue, but it’s been too long.
The sky was dull and grey when you’d approached Sanemi, who was chugging water from a bamboo bottle. He’d discarded his uniform top and sweat beads were visible on his face, arms. His sword rested at his side on the engawa. He heard your sandals crunching the dirt path, and his eyes flickered towards you and stayed fix on you as you approach.
“I’m quitting,” you said in one big breath.
He frowned. “You’re quitting what?”
“The Corps. You’re right, i’m weak. If i quit, will you- will you stop being mad at me?” You voice cracked just a little and heat flared up in your cheeks. Arms slack, you gripped the sides of your kimono. For the longest time he stared at you with incredulity, his hand occasionally squeezing the bamboo.
“Hey- wait. You took this decision ‘cause you think i’m mad at you?”
“Aren’t you?” You shot back.
He seemed to hesitate, standing up. “No. Not mad. I could- i could never be. » he took a step towards you and placed a heavy hand on your head. He looked conflicted. « I’m not mad at you. »
You stared at him. « Then why have you been ignoring me? What’s with all the avoiding me bullshit? »
« Thought you might need some time after.. what happened the other day. I blew up. »
You snorted. « Yeah, but don’t you think it would’ve been better to talk to me? »
His eyes darted towards a nearby tree, which suddenly seemed a great deal interesting to him. « I didn’t know how to approach you. »
You laughed for the first time in days and the sensation was something like a wilting plant being given water. Caught in your mirth, you risked a glance at Sanemi to find him staring at you with incredulity, but his lips were twitching at the corners and he looked like he was stifling a laugh himself.
“You’re an idiot,” you breathed out.
His ears reddened. “Shut up. I didn’t fucking know what to start with- i’m sorry for being shitty?”
“That would’ve been nice.”
He pulled you into his embrace wordlessly, his chin resting on your head. “I’m sorry for being shitty.” He muttered. “And you don’t have to quit the Corps just ‘cause of me, you got your own life and decisions. I shouldn’t have interfered.”
“Yeah,” you let your hands rest on his chest, mindlessly tracing a scar. “Thanks for being concerned.”
His hold on you tightened by just a hint. “Don’t die on me.” His voice was still gruff, but there was something so weak with that sentence, like he was pleading you. Pleading you not to leave him, after he’s lost people he loved one too many times.
