Digital walls, but walls
On the way to space and public art | came across the digital walls. They can be "painted" but they also have the function of limiting, of delimiting, of separating...
A change of paradigm has been happening for some years now with the arrival of the internet, which has completely changed some aspects and concepts that have to do with the world of art and more specifically with urban art or public art. From the beginning, this type of art has been carried out in public places with the aim of being observed by anyone on the street and thus making it free, accessible and free from any premise or institution when it is created. (not considering the "warlike coexistence” with the advertising).
The appearance of the Internet has changed it. A vast majority of the art is seen online on a screen, what questions that the street is the natural canvas of this art discipline. While it is for the one who creates the piece, it is almost never for the one who looks at it. Public spaces are no longer just physical, in the same way that the plastic arts are no longer just plastic.
Due to the access to technology and its cheapness, nowadays it is inconceivable to think of art without considering the whole digital sphere, whether as a tool, a method of creation or of dissemination. But at the same time, all these centuries of art history condition the understanding of art, sometimes acting as a burden in terms of understanding what art is.
The dragging of already preconceived ideas and the weight of the genetic inheritance makes us repeat concepts about what art is and was. In the face of such a rapid change of paradigm, it seems that we find it difficult to understand that this whole new digital world is still the world. Both virtual and augmented reality are also reality, but the fact that it is appreciated through a screen sometimes causes it not to be considered as something artistic or even real. Thinking that way we could say that looking at a piece of art on the Internet does not have its complete experience, since we are not seeing it in the place for which it was devised, and neither are we perceiving it in a direct way, but with a screen as an intermediary. But at the same time, I think about all the content that we consume today with these devices - movies, series, photographs, news, and even art, current and classic - and not because of that we think or say that they are unreal.
At this point, where the analog space merges with the digital space, a new artistic expression is born that is entirely digital, where the final piece is born and ends up in the digital realm. Conceived through digital tools and deposited in the public digital space. These pieces of art suggest skipping the step of "existing" first in the ‘real reality’ to reach directly the virtual reality, which is also reality, and once from there, to have an impact on the analog reality.
It would also be curious to reflect on the parallelism between urban art and digital art, since, being in public places, both are susceptible to being stolen, altered or appropriated by other people for different purposes. And also, on the idea of anonymity, always used by urban artists to be able to work in the street without risk of infringement, and now also used in the digital environment. Either by often using copyrighted content that we find on the web (street 2.0) for an artistic purpose or by the "erosion of sharing” in which at some point someone does not credit the work, but it is still shared. In this case there should be a new word to define those people that everybody knows, but nobody knows who they are. “Famonimous" characters or the concept of "famonimity"; people or artists who are known precisely because they are anonymous.
Since the beginnings of urban art, the idea was to use public space to express oneself freely, but we must bear in mind that public space is nothing more than the remainder of the space divided by the private, the "leftovers" after the developers pass, the worthless places left open to the common people by institutions, etc., etc..... With the change of social, technological and artistic paradigm, urban art has been normalized and is now used as a method of decoration of places in poor condition, as a complement to a public road or simply as a means of open artistic expression as it has always been. Because if the initial objective was to make art accessible, direct and open to everyone, that idea has moved to the internet and, in some ways, the radical idea of urban art would no longer have that sense.
Therefore, if we understand urban or public art as a type of art accessible to everyone, free of charge and without any kind of condition, | believe that digital art fulfils this role today, since it inhabits all public places, whether analog or digital. Urban art needs this digital sphere to be able to expand and be visible. Because nowadays most urban art is seen through screens, not in the place where the piece has been created, which makes all these works more accessible to everyone at any time. And so, the ’paradox of the graffiti artist’ is born, the one who expresses his freedom in the walls that imprison him. These walls generate private spaces and what is outside them is considered public space by the mere fact of being spaces where people pass through. But it does not mean that this public space is open to intervention. Every public space is under the supervision of a privative entity, whether it is a municipality, a company or simply, the property of an individual. Public space does not exist, neither in the ‘real reality’, nor in the virtual one. It is always subject to something superior that manages it.
Within this dilemma, augmented reality becomes another alternative to the path of public art. It gives the possibility of creating art in public spaces, only seen on digital devices, and using the ‘real reality’ as the piece’s canvas. Until recently, photography and/or video were methods of capturing reality. Now, with this change of prism, these disciplines moved from being the purpose itself, to becoming raw material for the creation of other new artistic expressions. In this direction, | want to focus on the gif format. This format is strictly digital, so it gives us the option to edit, to add movement to pieces that, before, condemned to live still. We can spread in on the Internet and make it accessible to everyone at any time. When adding augmented reality, the two concepts intertwine, urban/public art and digital art, what gives rise to new artistic expressions that call into question deep rooted concepts such as museum, art and reality.
There are already many centuries researching, testing and creating the same type of art, whether sculpture, painting.... Except for the birth of new "isms" within these disciplines, it gives the impression that they are exhausted. At this point it would be convenient to think about the idea of unique work, copy, forgery, recreation... Thinking about the evolution of art we must consider that all new progress is born of the technological options that occur in each era. Nowadays, the difference is that progress happens every day, very fast, and it seems that it is difficult (or unwilling) to understand this change because of the speed of it. This cultural and genetic heritage blurs our vision and sometimes prevents us from conceiving new artistic expressions as such, since there are no previous references to support them.
But, at the end of the day, every new artistic expression, in its beginnings, was not art. "Science develops ideas that come from art that is inspired by science.” The world of classical art enjoys an aura of untouchable deity because when we are born it has always been there, but we cannot forget to think for a moment with perspective that all this classical art was created mainly by the entities of power of each era: kings, church, political powers...
This is why today (without underestimating the technique and the work of the artists) these types of classical art enjoy an invulnerability as, in the end, it was created by and for the power itself.
Then, this type of art collides with the urban and/or public art, along with digital art. In the public and digital space those who decide what is "art" are the people.
I am sure that the first Cro-Magnon who used a tuft of horse hairs instead of his own hands to paint was seen as an art/magic/belief apath.
Now we live in a new paradigm shift, but in this case it is not local or national, it is global and immediate.

Thoughts about Gus Porter TOH!!
• He holds himself to such impossible and overwhelming expectations. I am STILL thinking about the fact that he ran away to live in a cave when he failed a school project, which, as a reminder, was for 2-3 grades ahead of where someone his age would be! I want him and Amity to talk and bond over it… Gus to back out at first, dismissing it, going “no, our situations are WAY different”. Only for Amity to reassure that she’d rather connect over it than get into technicalities of her “having it worse”.
• Him struggling between his special interest in the human realm and all the horrors he saw in Belos’s mind. What do you mean the culture he’s so fascinated by is rooted in harm anod corruption and atrocities? He doesn’t want to know but he also needs to.
• I think he’d get deep into human history and start really connecting with revolutions, especially as the Boiling Isles are being built. People have done this before. People have come out the other side and survived.
• He’s a huge fan of “human attempts at illusion magic”, as he sees them. Animation, vocaloids, special effects, special effect makeup, practical magic tricks, augmented/virtual reality, etc! Willow listens to him enthusiastically explain the differences between 2d and 3d animation and how to make convincing cosplays and the psychology of grabbing someone’s attention to do a trick right in front of their eyes.
• He’s a theatre kid. You cannot convince me otherwise. He has a gorgeous singing voice and he’s great at performing in general but he doesn’t know it yet.
• He’s afraid of trying out other magic tracks because yeah, they interest him, but what if he’s bad at them? What if he’s not actually a child prodigy and he’s a fake and he gets found out and— His friends and/or dad talk him through it, though, and he ends up trying out the bard and oracle as well! I’m not sure what instrument he would play but I can see him with anything from an electric guitar to a piano to a saxophone.
• He has a leather jacket covered in pins and patches (some courtesy of Hunter) and it’s his prized possession. Wears it every single day.
• Whatttt is going on with his illusion stuff man. What do you mean he gets thrown into intense immersive magic visions related to his fears and anxieties. *Hits him with the disability beam and refuses to elaborate*
• He has a special interest in space that was either the cause of his fascination with Cosmic Frontier, or caused by his fascination with Cosmic Frontier.
• That being said. Please consider a Collector and Gus duo. They know what it’s like to have people pretend to be your “friend” because of your magic prowess, they know what it’s like to have seen too much too young, they know what it’s like to be the youngest in the group. Dynamic of “I’ve always wanted a little sibling” and “you are the best babysitter EVER”.
• The HAS gets so big after WAD that he has to assign more leadership positions (Matt is vice president :3)
• I feel like I’m stealing this from someone but I can’t remember where I saw it… anyway. He’s the next Grom King and essentially terrifies Grom right back. Uno reverse. Show IT its worst memories/fears. If anyone knows who originally posted that please tell me but it’s canon to me now.
• After he gets his ear pierced for the illusion mirror, he gets like 5 more. Give my boy some jewelryyy
• In the Emerald Entrails, while Viney & Willow are flora and fauna best friends, Gus & Skara are performing artist best friends. They are NOT overwhelmed between theatre and/or band and Flyer Derby what do you mean

he’s immensely possessive over you to the point that even when he’s physically absent he’s still able to monitor and control every single interaction that you have — tracking your movements with cameras and drones as you traverse planet xylitol and other adjacent colonies, having his most loyal assistants keep tabs on you on his behalf, listening in on your conversations after bugging all of the tech you carry with you, using his status to ensure you only get the chance to speak to people he approves of, etc. — all while you remain blissfully ignorant of what’s going on around you
he also be kinda patronising towards you at times because of how young and inexperienced in life you are compared to him (after all, he’s a nova cookie and you’re… well… you… so really can you blame him?), and while it’s never done in a mean spirited or cruel way it always leaves you feeling small and upset in the aftermath. like you’re helpless and a burden on him more than anything else, especially when you mess up the intentionally too complex or incorrectly explained simple tasks he’s assigned you — which gives him the perfect opening to swoop in and deepen your dependence on him comfort you like any good boyfriend would (what would you do without him?)
and even if you did get a feeling that something was wrong, xylitol nova cookie has done such a thorough job of positioning himself as the most trustworthy and stable figure in your life that the idea of him being at all responsible for the wrongness you’ve noticed never even crosses your mind
while he won’t go so far as to actually imprison you or to completely cut you off from the outside world, the unseen micromanaging of your social life that he does will inevitably lead to you becoming pretty dependent on him and his inner circle for comfort and companionship. and between him rearranging your schedule to force old friendships to break down, and spreading lies to force new untrusted connections out of your life, you’ll be left with more trust issues than ever before which makes it all the easier for him to manufacture the (in his mind) ‘perfect’ social circle for you (i.e. people that won’t hesitate to share anything you say or do with him and that won’t interfere with your relationship in the way that your old friends used to do)
but worse than all of that is how pushy he is about you letting him and his scientists modify your body by replacing all of your weaker organic parts with synthetic, robotic equivalents — insisting and insisting and insisting until you finally break and let him drag you onto the operating table to do whatever he wants. so caught up by the terrifying reality of your mortal lifespan and how short it is compared to his own that he’s willing to break you down and wear you out and go on for however many days or weeks or months or years he needs to until you let him augment and modify out each and every weakness and biological flaw you have
until you’re robotic and immortal and his and he doesn’t have to worry about losing you to something as immutable as the passage of time
but with all of the things that made you human, made you mortal, gone, are you even yourself anymore?
and, if not, when did you become something different?
and, then, why is xylitol nova cookie still so dead set on keeping you by his side?
perhaps he’s just delusional or stubborn or lost in denial, unable or unwilling or even too guilty to give up on whatever remains of the you he loved after turning you into whatever you are now
either way, though, i hope you enjoy the eternal life ahead of you because you’re not getting out of his clutches any time soon…

@chisksblog my FNaF AU isn't too unlike canon, though it has a lot of focus on the Afton family because I'm crazy about their story. The big things changed are generally more accuracy to real life animatronics of the era, with each animatronic character having written-in personalities and lore that then intersects with the missing children. Fazbear Entertainment has "lore" of its own (akin to the CEC characters) in universe that kind of blurs the missing kids' reality at the edges.
Speaking of which, the missing children's info is as follows:
Charlotte "Charlie" Emily, 9 years old, died 10/31/1982. Possesses The Marionette. Elizabeth Nora Afton, 10 years old, died 4/13/1983. Possesses Circus Baby. Cassidy Blair Afton, 9 years and 6 days old, died 6/28/1983. Possesses Fredbear. Susie Ann Miller, 10 years old, died 7/02/1985. Possesses Chica. Jeremy Young, 5 years old, died 7/23/1985. Possesses Bonnie. Gabriel Lowe, 7 years old, died 7/23/1985. Possesses Freddy Fazbear. Francesca Claudette "Fritz" Oliveira, 11 years old, died 8/01/1985. Possesses Captain Foxy.
The other three who died and possess the other Funtimes I'm not certain on, or if they even really exist. I'll.. I'll figure that out.
When it comes to Security Breach and stuff, that's where things get very, very different. Technically, my main fnaf AU doesn't involve HW/SB/Ruin, that's a different thing entirely (I call that au "security-singularity breach" or scsib for short).
In ScSiB, Gregory isn't entirely a . y'know, homeless orphan. Actually, he has a full family- parents and two older sisters- twins, actually. His parents split before his birth though, and his father left with his older sister Vanessa, leaving him and Valentine. After losing Vanessa, their mother became the person that she was said to be by their father to get custody of Ness- neglectful, emotionally abusive, and suicidal. Valentine and Gregory both became self-sufficient, and Gregory became cold and bitter where Valentine became irreverent and overly positive to mask a sense of insignificance. Once Vanessa moves out of her father's house, she tries to become a part of Gregory's life, to little success due to Gregory's very avoidant attachment style and suspicion.
Valentine is the one to get taken over by Glitchtrap, but she ropes both of her siblings into it subtly. As Valentine starts appearing more like Vanessa, Gregory becomes completely lost in who and what he can trust. His only comfort is spending all his time at the Pizzaplex, because he has a couple of friends there and he gets in free on a family discount. He considers Freddy his friend, and this is vitally important. As he becomes more uncertain of his safety in his home life, he tries to reach out to Freddy, who is just receptive enough for Gregory to keep trying little by very little. Valentine models her persona after both herself and her sister to continue implicating Vanessa so it stays between them, and she names it V.A.N.N.Y.- Virtual Augmentation Neural Network Yield. The suit is partially mechanized and works off of the V.A.N.N.I. system from Ruin.
On Halloween of 2020 (I don't like that SB canonically takes place in like 2045. sorry), V.A.N.N.Y. is forced to really start acting out Glitchtrap's will, and to cut her off from any emotional connection, Glitchtrap instructs her to kill her parents and Gregory. She successfully kills her parents, but Gregory escapes. He is presumed by most to have killed his parents and run away. Glitchtrap is not happy that she fucked up, but this was partially a move to protect her brother by putting him in a place where Vanessa would feel she had absolutely no choice but to protect him for her, even though they're not close. She puts the responsibility of Gregory's safety on Vanessa, but Gregory doesn't trust her.
The only person that Gregory trusts- aside from Cassie, who doesn't believe Gregory is a murderer- isn't really a person, but Freddy. Freddy is the only person Gregory feels like isn't hiding something from him. This turns out to be very wrong, as Freddy isn't really Freddy, but Michael Afton, trying to stop anything awful from happening again by protecting Gregory at any cost.
Which is a difficult task when the kid you're trying to protect keeps insisting on putting himself in the way of a murderer with the intention of "saving" her.

In recent years, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has become increasingly prevalent in our society. Without further ado, here are the different trends in ICT:
Convergence: Convergence in technology refers to the combining or integration of different services or technologies into a single platform or system. In a technological context, this could refer to the blending of different types of technologies, such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, virtual reality, augmented reality, and more. This could also include the merging of different services from different providers, such as combining a music streaming service with a fitness tracking app to create a single platform for fitness and entertainment.
Social Media:  refers to online platforms or applications that allow users to connect, share, and communicate with others. These platforms or applications use a variety of tools or technologies, such as web servers, software, databases, and networking equipment, to facilitate social interaction. Social media platforms can range from simple messaging apps to complex social networks with hundreds of thousands or even millions of users.

Assistive media helps to reduce communication barriers for these individuals and provide them with access to education, employment, and social activities.

Distributed servers can also improve system performance, reliability, and scalability, as well as providing failover capabilities and redundancy in case of server failure. The use of distributed servers is prominent in cloud computing and related technologies, as it allows for remote access, storage, and computing of data without the need for physical servers in each location. 3. Datacenters – A datacenter is a facility dedicated to the housing, operation, and management of computer systems and data. These facilities usually contain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other information technology components, as well as environmental controls to maintain an optimal operating temperature and humidity for the equipment. Datacenters are fundamental for organizations and businesses that rely on large amounts of data and technology for their operations, and allow for secure and reliable storage and management of data. They can also provide services such as cloud computing, storage, and network connections for other companies or organizations.
Cloud Computing:
Cloud computing is a computing model in which data and applications are stored and processed in remote servers or data centers, rather than on local devices or systems. This allows for the sharing of resources and data among multiple users and devices, improved scalability and flexibility, and access to data and applications from anywhere with an internet connection. Cloud computing can be provided through a variety of models, such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Types of Clouds
1.Public Cloud -is an internet-based cloud computing service that is provided by a third-party provider and is accessible to the general public. Users access the Public Cloud through a subscription or pay-as-you-go model, allowing them to use its capabilities and resources as needed, without having to build and manage their own infrastructure or hardware. The Public Cloud provides a range of services, such as computing power, storage, networking, application and database hosting, analytics, and artificial intelligence. It is often used by organizations and individuals to reduce the cost and complexity of building and managing their own IT infrastructure. 2.Private Cloud - is an internal or privately hosted cloud computing environment, controlled and managed by a single organization or individual. Unlike the Public Cloud, which is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, the Private Cloud is restricted to a limited number of users, often within the same organization or network. Private Clouds provide many of the same capabilities and services as Public Clouds, but with higher security and control over data and resources. They also offer the flexibility to manage and support applications and workloads in a customized environment, without the need for large capital investments in data center equipment and infrastructure. 3.Community Cloud - is a type of cloud computing environment that is shared among a group of organizations or entities within a specific geographical, industrial, or academic community. It allows these organizations to utilize a shared cloud structure, resources, and tools while maintaining control and governance over their own data and systems. In contrast to a Public Cloud, which is operated by a third-party provider and accessible to anyone with an internet connection, a Community Cloud is typically owned and managed by a governing body or consortium of participating organizations. This governance allows for more control over data, security, and other considerations, while still providing the benefits of cloud computing. 4.Hybrid Cloud-is a cloud computing environment that combines the use of both Private and Public Clouds. This approach allows organizations to leverage the advantages and capabilities of each cloud model, while also reducing the drawbacks and risks associated with relying entirely on one type of cloud. In a Hybrid Cloud, some data, systems, or applications may be hosted on a Private Cloud, while other data or more demanding workloads may be hosted on a Public Cloud. This approach provides the option to move workloads between clouds based on the specific requirements or performance needs. Hybrid Clouds are becoming increasingly popular as a way to optimize cost, flexibility, and performance in cloud computing deployments.
