This is the notebook I've been writing the zero drafts of my stories for 1/2 days now. But the cover was ugly so i sacrificed half a page of my sketchbook and now one of my old drawings is my cover 😊

Get ready for MORE GELPHIE ANALYSIS because the queer audhd English major brain never rests.

We know that Glinda is trying to get the Munchkins to empathize with Elphaba even though she can't publicly defend or mourn her. But another nice touch from the brilliant mind of Stephen Schwartz is that in telling about Elphaba's childhood,she makes a point to mention Elphaba's father being appointed governor of Munchkin Land. There are LAYERS here.

We know that Glinda was from a wealthy and prominent family. She has gone through a lot of character development at this point,but she is still Glinda Upland. Status and titles mean a lot to her still. Telling everyone that Elphaba was born in Munchkin Land is supposed to humanize her and show she is literally one of them yes...BUT our girl was bragging on her girl. She was letting them KNOW Elphie ain't a common wicked bitch. She's letting them know her bestie is ALSO from a prominent family and put some fucking respect on her name. It goes over their heads,but Glinda tried so hard short of telling the truth (which would be against Elphaba's wishes) or obliterating some munchkin ASS for shit talking her baby. I know seeing her finally get to cry her eyes out about it is going to wreck me

OH. What if Lestat's questionable spelling and literacy is a running thread in his fandom Subreddit because fans ask him for autographs and he keeps making basic spelling mistakes. HE'D FEEL SO BAD AND LOUIS MIGHT OFFER TO EAT SOME REDDITORS TO MAKE HIM FEEL BETTER

the side windows look to be adam and eve. adam’s getting his junk yanked on by a demon, which reminds me of the priest michelangelo had beef with who gets his dick bitten by a snake in the sistine chapel’s last judgment fresco (which I included to the left here lol)

big dragon satan in the middle looks like he has a bat winged pope atop his head. unclear exactly which one because of the resolution, but I would have to assume it’s popia since he’s not really featured on the other stained glass, and because of the dracopia costume. the old stained glass was a memorial for papas past. this stained glass is a monument to popia’s greatness. look at what he can do with the power of a fuck off huge satanic dragon by his side!!!

What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

Mp3 actually used to be my objectsona! way back in 2018 when i first got really into object shows--i dont entirely remember why i settled on an mp3 player for a sona in particular, i think i just thought tech-y objects were kinda cool, but back then i kept using them and another character of mine, bentley-baxter, as sonas in my sketches

(i also dont recall why both my objectsonas were missing arms lol, but i digress)

they didnt really become any sort of proper character in their own right till i came up with sweetie the following summer, but even then i didnt do much with them, so they didnt really start resembling their current incarnation till 2020. I wanted to try my hand at some admittedly kinda wacky object show worldbuilding, and when i needed to plop some characters in there to actually inhabit said world i remembered mp3 and decided to pull them off the back-burner for it. I started writing about them (and sweetie) again for the sake of convenience, not really thinking i'd get too into it, but soon enough it all just started kinda...falling into place! now five years later i think about them everyday lol
