#sakura haruno#haruno sakura#naruto#naruto fanart#artists on tumblr#digital art#koko draws#I have so many thoughts about this#Sakura would have been so perfect as Orochimaru's student#they're so similar: both of them are clever shinobi with no clan to back them up and a body too frail to achieve their objectives#on the other hand we have Tsunade and Sasuke#the last heirs of Konoha's two founding clans#both carrying a good dose of traume due to certain events and both being much kinder that they appear at first glance#Tsunade teaching Sasuke her healing techniques and maybe even naming him her successor (not that Sasuke is particularly interested)#would have healed the original rift between the Senju and the Uchiha that Hashirama and Madara couldn't fix at the end#And Sasuke would have been such a good healer. He is the kindest member of team 7 (I'm ready to throw hands over this)#it would suit him.#Role reversal AU

#I enjoyed this process So MUCH#And what a process it was. In one wip Solas looked a little bit too beat up... to balance the line of disheveled and on the brink of death#Is a delicate line#And painting these floating stones was such a joy! Good practice too as I don't often draw spacious and atmospheric scenes#I should do it more often. I was inspired by the concept art of Dai and datv. The amount of stories you can tell with the colors! LOVE#I tried a new technique for painting the skin and it was challenging. I layered transparent colors over a black and white shadow sketch.#A technique usually kept for oilpainting but it translated surprisingly well in digital media#And side note. I have complained about this before and I'll complain agai#Before we get into the sad stuff with Yungmeng Jiang in the PD-MDZS comics lets have some lighthearted fun!#Remember that if anything bad happens to these Jiang disciples in the canon comic - they are happy in this AU B'*)#I think one of the funniest things about the teenxian dynamic is how WWX accidently finds things that get LWJ to feel flustered.#My guy wwx goes 'I'm going to lightly bully/tease this nerd 'cause his reactions are funny.' and LWJ goes “My god. He's everything to me.”#Part two of the fun part of this dynamic is that LWJ is ever so lightly self aware enough to LOATHE THIS CRUSH.#Hence why I have been marinating on this 'Accidental Lan headband miscommunication' concept.#This is how LWJ assumes that WWX knows what the band means in this AU. This will be relevant later.#And YES! I am still going to be making comics for this AU. I have so many ideas I simply can't hold onto forever.
