rewatched the whole series this weekend and i was like hey lol this kinda reminds me of those blocks and the more i thought about it a lot of the roles kinda clicked into place for me

dont know whether to make f!jesse and m!jesse the pines twins or olivia and f/m!jesse as dipper and mabel respectively... i know the first would make more sense it kind of messed with the rest of my characterizations and this is by no means a serious au i dont really care to keep anything super canon compliant LOL we can just call them fraternal twins if i choose olivia and jesse

Plus hear me out i think liv being dipper makes the most sense because theyre both techy, pragmatic, kinda socially awkward and pessimistic. mabel and the jesses is more of a stretch but they both have pet pigs and are usually the most optimistic #poweroffriendship people in any group theyre in (i guess it depends on how you play jesse but like i said a STRETCH)

When their account gained traction they used it to help advertise their comic

They do both for a living now

They game on it and sometimes do vlog type streams

They does a lot of charity streams (angsty charity week fic anyone???)

Annual subathons

Lives with the girlfriends (Anne and Sasha)

Sleep schedule? Non-existent!

Anne and Sasha are fan favourites even if they do end some streams early to force Marcy to sleep

She does sub only drawing streams for their comics especially after a hiatus

Or they do public drawing streams of intermission episodes

Anne and Sasha sometimes come onto a stream with them

Marcy has a lot of guilt from Amphibia still :(

Not fully disabled but they need a walking aid sometimes and a wheelchair if the pain gets really bad

Marcy has crocheted all of them plushies of their family in amphibia (Sasha with Percy, Braddock and Grime, Anne with Sprig, Polly and Hop-pop, and Marcy with Olivia and Yunan (and a secret andrius plush that they can't look at most days))

None of them have their powers but they do have traces of energy, which is why Darcy stays in Marcy's head instead of just shutting off

Marcy dyes some of her hair green in reminder of when they had cool anime powers

Also, she's worked a lot of aspects of Amphibia into their comic so they have an excuse to make Amphibia merch

Most of their fans are worried about her because she's always up so late

Marcy speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Portuguese, and Ukrainian and voice over all of their streams in these languages to post them on their separate VOD channels

They're trying to learn more (Greek, German, Russian, ect.)

Because of Darcy and her wit powers they learn easier (super brain)

All of her fans theorize on why them and their girlfriends went missing for like a year seeing as frogvasion has been wiped from the media

The calamity trio know most of the Disney protags (Dipper, Luz, Molly, Star, and the other people in included in those franchises)

They all live in the same world (-star, Marco and Tom but dimensional scissors yk?)

Luz reached out to Anne for help building a portal, Dipper and Mabel met Molly while ghost hunting

They have all separately run into Star while researching energy levels that came from Stars weird dimensional travel

Therefore Marco added them all to a discord server and the rest is history

They sometimes guest star on Marcy's channel

June has programmed Marcy a game before

Sasha is planning to propose (shhh don't tell Anne and Marcy)

Marcy has cut contact with her family (I don't care what cannon says her parents aren't good people)

(She would not cling onto any sort of affection this much if their parents loved them)

Marcy hates going to the doctor or bathing (the bath reminds her of the rejuvenation tank and she just generally distrusts the government after Anne told them about the whole thing with Mr X)

The only doctor they trust is the dentist for some reason???

When asked Marcy just shrugs

And the vet but they aren't the one getting tested at the vet and she cares about Domino 3 too much not to go to the vet

I feel like I’ve been contributing way too much angst to Murdle Falls, so have some funny/fluffy ideas ^^

1. Assuming the Maniacs never take any human disguises (which, admittedly, they might have to during Weirdmageddon, otherwise the people of Gravity Falls might assume they’re with whoever caused the apocalypse and attack first/ask questions later), funny and sad mental image of Irratino post-memory wipe seeing them and screaming in absolute shock because holy crap what ARE those?! It’s funny, then when you think about it it’s sad, then it becomes funny again :P

2. Imagine after Logico gets turned to stone, Irratino is completely distraught because not only did his ex get turned to stone, his ex basically died hating him after their latest fight (Logico doesn’t hate him, but Irratino doesn’t know this). Now imagine that, after Logico recovers from that but Irratino’s memory has been wiped, Logico also thinks Irratino went out hating him (and was probably only trying to save the rest of Gravity Falls, probably couldn’t care less about him, and can Logico really blame him after how badly they crashed and burned?) and then someone is like “oh, wow, Irratino had that same worry too”. I dunno. Maybe a bit of a balm on Logico, knowing the man he loved didn’t actually hate him (and also a source of guilt, because holy crap they had so much air to clear that they can’t now).

3. On that note, I think they both owe each other an apology. In their first real conversation after Weirdmageddon. Because let’s face it, both Logico and Irratino fucked up royally, and both of them need to acknowledge that. (I can see one of them offering the other a clean break, no strings attached, no hard feelings, they can just part ways now with fond memories…and the other realizes that both a) he was going to offer the exact same thing, and b) he doesn’t want to take said offer.) I hope that first real conversation is adorable, they both need it ^^

4. Imagine that, while Irratino’s regaining his memories, he just unconsciously cuddles closer to Logico one day. He doesn’t know why he did it, it wasn’t a conscious choice, it just…felt right. That’s it, that’s all I got there :P

5. Funny mental image related to Olivia sharing a photo of Irratino losing a chess game to a cat: I think she takes photos like that often. And videos like that. For blackmail purposes. (“Blackmail” in this case meaning “getting other people to do dumb favors or stuff she doesn’t feel like doing”) You know that time Mabel photographed Dipper giving Mermando reverse-CPR in The Deep End? Yeah, it’s like that. Oddly useful for remembering your more embarrassing moments XD

That’s all I got. I got a lot, what can I say :P I had to make up for the angst SOMEHOW.

The Maniacs likely would take disguises during weirdmageddon so they're not clocked as "bad guys" on a first glance, but are probably eager to drop them as soon as possible. So Irratino absolutely would be like "why the hell is the sentient teeth talking to me. why are the sentient teeth flirting with me?!" (Even amnesiac Irratino isn't into Seashell, alas). But Irratino is absolutely spooked and confused and trying to figure out why these unfamiliar creatures are talking to him- Of course, he regains his composure and is like "Oh, so we're, uh, friends? I'm sure you're very nice!" but that initial shock is still absolutely there

Oh yeah, that fight did a lot of damage to both of them, both convinced the other hates him when that's not the truth at all. But hey, Logico would take comfort in knowing that Irratino was worried, because if Irratino was worried he didn't hate Logico at all. And yet, that also makes him a little guilty, because did Irratino know Logico didn't hate him, too? But he can't apologize because Irratino has no memory of him, much a worry about being hated. Even before he gets his memories back, Logico probably tries to assure him and say "When you remember our argument, when everything went down, I hope you realize I never hated you. I was pretty mad, and terrified, but I didn't hate you at all. I...honestly, I never stopped loving you. How irrational, right?" to which Irratino would just reply with "I don't know if, or when, those memories will come back, but I'm beyond touched you care that much about me. Besides, irrationality is a good look on you, starlight." "...You remember that nickname?"

Ho boy that conversation absolutely happens and it is...actually rather tame, all things considered! Incredibly long, and exhausting, but rather civil. Enough time has had to have passed for Irratino to remember enough for him to have that conversation, after all, and Logico's anger slowly starts to diminish over that time. He probably vents a lot in some notebooks and journals, silently seething at Irratino but he can't be too mad because he's all Irratino's got right now because the Maniacs wanted to travel around Earth and Irratino doesn't know why Logico would be so mad- But over time, it dulls. So when they do talk, Logico's more exhausted than infuriated. There's enough distance where he can just talk about everything. Hell, they probably also have to take breaks to just not talk, maybe just watch a show or read books and mentally recharge because there's a lot to talk about and a lot that needs to get unpacked. But in the end, they both feel so much better for having talked it over.

AWWWW that image is so cute- Like, maybe Logico is just starting to drift off, used to the fact Irratino keeps his distance even when they share a bed now and that's fine, he's lost all his memories, things get to be different even if he does miss his human space heater on cold nights like this. And then Irratino just curls up next to him, arms and legs entangled around him, his hair lazily braided and loose strands wafting up a little bit, and Logico's breath stops for a moment as he's like "Tino?" and Irratino just murmurs "I remember how much I like this. Cuddling with you. And I'm realizing now how much I missed this- Or, well, can you miss something you forgot you liked?" and Logico just gives a hum, not risking saying something and breaking the moment, holding Irratino closer and fighting a smile.

Oh yeah, Olivia absolutely has blackmail photos on everyone- Harmless blackmail, just embarrassing. She's got Jake faceplanting into mud after a failed balancing act, Julius having glued his hand to a sheet of cardstock and having been unable to get rid of it, Buster being an orange cat, Irratino loosing at chess to said orange cat, and Logico under the effects of the Love God Potion (aka Suavegico). In her words "If at first you don't succeed, blackmail, threaten, and/or bribe the person who did until you can take their success." To which Jake says "That's not the saying at all!!" and Olivia just shrugs and says "Well, that's what my dad told me it was." and Julius just sighs and says "Your dad is...something, alright."

How do you imagine Mabel and Marcy's relationship? Considering they both had similar character conflicts (Being afraid of change and people they love drifting away). Not to mention they both being sillies and your idea of Mabel joining the Amphibian Knight, kinda like Marcy as a Royal Ranger.

I imagine them getting along amazingly!! I think in the beginning it’s very, goofy wacky fun on the surface. And then once Marcy’s like ok let’s find our friends but first we might have to solve this political mystery—they start to click beyond the surface. Not only are they vibing on the way they resort to conflict through friendship first (though I might need to revisit Marcy a bit on that I haven’t had a rewatch in a while so idk maybe she’s a little more hesitant), but also bond about their own dealings with the fear of the future and having to overcome that

And then back to fun parts where Mabel has to pose as Marcy’s new knight lmfao all the game of thrones ass shenanigans but the way Mabel and Marcy would deal with those scenarios

Mabel would also ship the hell out of Olivia and Yunan and be like “Marcy you’re their FROG DAUGHTER”
