PLEASE read the full post before response, i am kinda tired of repeating myself. and i am not saying i don't like the tail (i love it actually), but the truth needs to be said AND!!! if i am incorrect, i am sorry for spreading misinformation 🥲

edit (adding context): my friend and i (with the help of the internet) have pieces together info from the story and pretty much know what happened in the high cloud quintet and basically this was key info from it that lot's of people are misunderstanding 😎👍

i am so sorry. i don't mean to be that person, but the vidyadhara don't have tails...bailu is the only one with one, and there is a specific reason i won't talk about unless asked bc i know i am right and it would be a SPOILER 💖

but anyways, vidyadhara dan heng (or just all vidyadhara except bailu) doesn't have a tail, so just so you know, it will only ever really be a headcannon 🫡

(btw this is not meant to be aggressive in any sort of way, i just figured people should know, especially when this is an important thing to know for actual game lore later)

EDIT!!! sorry, i should have made myself more clear. i am not talking about his idle, i am talking about base form. also i am pretty sure the one in his idle is simply a phantom one acting more as symbolism than an actual tail. also, i do love reading the hc about him having a tail, i just figured people should know 😎👍

EDIT PT 2!!! also let's say for the argument dan heng's tail is retractable for what ever reason (which it most likely isn't). it doesn't change the fact that current vidyadhara don't have tails or horns (except bailu) 🫡

EDIT PT 3!!! the only vidyadhara that have draconic features are dan heng and bailu. none of the other vidyadhara we meet have any of those features (except the long life and rebirth) because the council (whatever their called) suppressed those powers to prevent the incedent of what happened with dan feng from happeneing again. bailu still has those powers and features for a specific reason that is once again POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!

it has officially been 4 months, and i have not played any game besides bg3, which i play almost every night/evening.

if i do not play it for more than three days, i begin to feel withdrawal symptoms. this is however better than when i was first playing it, as i would feel withdrawal symptoms after not playing for, instead of 3 days, 3 hours.

even if i am not playing the game, i am busy either thinking about it, thinking about d&d in general, or reading fan fics or memes.
