realistically i think padme's legacy in the galaxy is complicated...if not wholly erased. we know she was working towards the rebellion before she died. she also died pregnant to an unknown father (but those in the know heard rumors about a certain Jedi...) let's also not forget she's from palpatine's home planet.

i think the naboo situation post-ROTS could be very erm...Catherine of Aragon/Anne Boleyn. ive come to the realization (after reflecting on the slasher vibes that s4 gives) tha stranger things s4 had to be at least a little inspired by nightmare on elm street. my case is this: high school kids getting picked off one at a time in incredibly gruesome murders that a ragtag group of kids from the town is trying to solve, the killer responsible is severely burned, he can travel into his victim's minds (and thats how and where he kills them), AND HE HAS A FUCKED UP CLAW HAND!! idc how batshit i sound i have seen nightmare on elm street more times than i can count and the similarities are so !!! i feel like him rn
