One of the guys I work with found out I hadn't been eating lunch for the last month or 2 because I've been really stressed and just couldn't find time to make healthy meals. He came up to me today with 2 containers. One for me and one for him. Hes got a daughter my age who I remind him of and he says he'd always want her to make the healthy choice even if he has to with her. 🖤

As I already mentioned, I've been reading a lot, actually finished an over 500 pages book in 3 days.😅 After finishing "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, I switched to some fantasy books that I last read about 10 years ago, not ready for another heavy read yet.🙈 If you like sarcastic demons (who doesn't?), I can highly recommend to you the "Bartimäus" book series by Jonathan Stroud.🐉 It's so cleverly written (all these footnotes..), exciting and so hilarious - I often have to laugh out loud. The truth is, eating regular nutritional meals and allowing your body to fill itself to satisfaction is the key to reaching and maintaining a healthy, slim body. By not allowing yourself to go hungry, you will in fact avoid overeating - which is the very thing that usually happens when you break a starvation diet. One method is to eat four, five or six, fairly small, healthy meals divided up throughout your day. Instead of eating three large meals at breakfast, lunch and dinner, divide the same quantity of food into 6 meals instead and eat an extra small meal between a small breakfast and lunch, one between lunch and dinner and if you are hungry later have another one. Try to avoid having the last meal close to bedtime, anytime up to 3 hours before bed is all right. Don’t wait when you feel hungry. Eat as soon as you can. If you wait for a long period of time before you eat your body will go into panic mode, thinking that you don’t have enough resources to feed it and you will overeat! @Regranned from @plantifulalexandra - Slept 9h. Celebrated that my Christmas break has finally started. Had some tea. Snacked on some dates. Went for a 1h run. Took a shower. And now I'm absolutely up for some pancakes.🍮 Oh what a wonderful day after this busy week!🌿💛 So happy I could finally catch up on sleep, especially after getting up at 4am yesterday. Later I'm driving (home for Christmas 😅) to my parents and go out to the local pub there in the evening. Do you have any Christmas or Pre-Christmas traditions?🎄 . . 📸 Chocolate Pancakes: Mix 1 mashed banana, 2tbsp cacao powder, 5tbsp flour, 1tbsp corn starch, 1tbsp plant protein powder, 1tsp baking soda & as much plant milk you need to get your desired texture. I like the dough a little thicker, makes the pancakes thicker & fluffier.🐏 Bake the pancakes in a pan with a little coconut oil.
