recently a friend of mine released their doom mod "Obliterator"! A doom 2 mod with weapons that have a balance somewhere between regular doom and russian overkill (concept i always love)

you get weapons such as a pistol that can one shot a revenant, and a fusion between a cacodemon and a chainsaw. it's delightful.

im playing this doom mod for og doom which turns all the enemies into 3d voxels versions of themselves and its really good but for some reason the mod dev gave the cacodemons a "cacoussy" if you look at it from the bottom

I'm not entirely sure why they did this since you cant even look under a cacodemon in the original game

BYOC doom spamton will deploy ads that shield you from damage... or be used as the most expensive shitposts, splattered around the map.

If you like Final Doom, myhouse.pk3 or exploration heavy games with lots of hidden secrets to find, you should go check out this wad ASAP. I've been crawling through it over the last several days and I've only figured out about half of the secret puzzles.

This feels like the kind of thing you should really experience blind while you have the chance. I would not be surprised if this ended up in the Cacowards this year, it's a real gem of a wad.
