My Vedic Astrology Thoughts💭

These are all my random Vedic Astrology thoughts and things that I have noticed while studying different charts. These are my observations but nothing written down are things that I’m a 100% sure about, so I’m open to discussing any of these thoughts in the comments :)

- Sun conjunct Jupiter can achieve success in their respective career fields. I also notice that it could possibly indicate a need to indulge which may lead to weight gain. (Eg: Trisha Paytas, Adele)

- People with prominent 3rd house placements tend to be extremely sexually attractive to the masses. Eg:

1st lord in 3rd house

3rd lord in 1st house

3rd lord in 3rd house

3rd lord in 10th house

Atmakaraka in 3rd house

Or having lumanries in 3rd house

These are placements that I see a lot in sex icons and heavily sexualised celebrities. (Billie Eilish, Megan Fox, Rihanna). In Vedic astrology 3rd house is known for sexual magnetism due to it being 8 houses away from the 8th house.

- Another indicator for sexual magnetism is definitely Mars aspecting your 1st, 2nd, 7th or 10th house. It’s a very potent planet that can really seep into one’s energy. 1st and 2nd house is more physical appearance and 7th & 10th is more energy wise, but either way it’s very apparent.

- The dignity of your Mahadasha/Antardasha planet is SO important. If the planet isn’t strong in the D1 and D9, or atleast receiving aspects from beneficial planets then you won’t be able to reap the full benefits of the planet and it’s associated yogas.

- People with prominent Venus nakshatras and Rohini nakshatra, look really good in pink. Specifically this pastel pink, it really increases their attractiveness. Dressing in pink/pastel colours with makeup remaining light but still angelic using light blushes and soft eyeshadow, is a style that really suits them.

- Vishakhas truly do have this duality to their personalities that can of of course manifest in their appearance.

One example is Dove Cameron (Vishakha moon), she was initially known for her blond hair and innocent persona on Disney. Then for her music career, she decided to fully embody this dark persona by dying her hair black, using darker makeup shades and even adapting a more sexual way of speaking.

This really highlights the fact that Vishakha embodies both the energies of Libra and Scorpio, and they need to learn how to find balance between these two personas in order to achieve fulfilment. Or else they constantly find themselves see sawing between these two energies, thus never finding 100% fulfilment.

- Having Saturn transiting your 4th house in your D1 or from your Mahadasha sign may mean that you’ll be forced to stay at home more often. No matter how hard you try, travelling and seeking out new adventures will be restricted due to Saturn forcing you to deal with your inner karmas in an isolated space.

- Odd ascendant signs (1,3,5,7,9,11) are more likely to actually pursue the career that they desire. Eg: we all know many people who would love to be in the limelight, whether that’s a singer or actress, but not many people are able to pursue it because it is not their destiny. However this is not the case for odd signs, if they wake up and say “I want to be a singer ” then they will because that is their path in this life. This applies to any career that they are interested in.

(Many celebrities have odd sign ascendants. Lady Gaga who’s known for wanting to become a famous singer and then becoming one successfully, has a Gemini ascendant)

- When it comes to the even (2,4,6,8,10,12) ascendant signs, it does not matter if they would like to become a doctor or singer or whatever they desire. They will not be able to follow that career path if their destiny (9th house) does not align with it. These are the people who often thrown into the “limelight” and are uncomfortable by all the attention, or someone who’s forced to take a normal 9 to 5 despite them wanting to desperately follow their dreams.

(I got this technique from Dr. Dharmesh Mehta Ji, who explained it very well on “Exotic Astrology”’s channel.)

- Movable and cardinal signs are often successful in the entertainment industry because their 10th house are not in a fixed sign.

In order to pursue an artistic or freelance career, you need to have indications of an “unstable” career in your chart. Actors, singers, artists, never know when they’re going to get their next paycheck which is why it is associated with movable signs. Actors are always playing different roles, not certain if they’re even going to get their next job. The same goes for singers and artists who are constantly trying to make a living. Nothing is certain or “fixed” which is why having moveable signs in your 10th or aspecting it, is important if you want to successfully pursue this career field.

-This is one of the reasons why Moon or Mercury in 10th house or connected to 10th house is such a prominent indicator in artistic career charts. Because Moon and Mercury are both fast moving planets which can be associated with “instability ” in whatever house it is placed in.

- As for cardinal signs, they start their career off “unstable” but eventually climb the ladder to a more fixed and stable career. Think of rags to riches. Whereas movable signs constantly have to face changing their careers, depending on the Dasha.

- Dasha sequence: When you go through your 2nd, 4th, 6th Dasha period and it being a positive planet Venus, Moon, Mercury, Jupiter. You are more likely to experience an extremely favourable time in your life. I expand more on this technique in my Rise and Fall of Career Success post.

summary: chris and reader have serious tension until they give in at a party.

a/n: first fic so i hope its gooddd. i wrote this while listening to bad idea by dove cameron so that’s what this is inspired by :))

i met chris sturniolo when i was 16. he and his brothers came into my job and continued to come in everyday until one of them, nick, asked for my number and said he wanted to be friends. ever since then i’ve been super close with all of them.

chris had always been flirty with me and was known as a jealous guy, so when another guy got anywhere near me chris would be pissed. he would always joke about us dating or something and everytime i would tell him that we’re just friends.

8:43 pm - sturniolo residence

i was in nick’s bathroom, sitting on his counter so i could be closer to the mirror. i was touching up the last bits of my makeup for the party the triplets were invited to. they were each allowed one plus one but nick was the only triplet that actually wanted to bring someone. nick told me to hurry up and then left the room to put his shoes on.

getting off the counter i stepped into my dress, struggling to zip it all the way up. luckily for me, chris walked into the bathroom.

“hey you ready?” he asked, leaning against the doorway. he had a slight smirk on his face as he watched me struggle with my dress.

“almost but i can’t get this stupid fucking zipper. can you help me?” i huff, turning around and motioning to the zipper. he walks over to me, moving my hair out of the way, his fingers grazing the back of my neck as he did so.

he grabs the fabric just below the zipper, tugging it down slightly so it’s easier to zip the dress.

“there.” he smiles, moving my hair back to it’s place. the dress was a short, pink dress that hugged my curves perfectly. the heels i wore were short silver stilettos.

“thank you!” i walk past him, grabbing my heels and rushing downstairs. “okay okay i’m ready sorry!” i quickly apologize, all of us walking out the door.

9:15 pm - the middle of nowhere in the car

9:30 pm - the party

when we walk into the house the first thing i smell is weed and alcohol. my stomach churns at the smell. i sigh, already wanted to go home.

“what do we do now?” i ask as all of us stand awkwardly. almost on cue, one of chris’ friends walks up to us.

“YO STURNIOLOOO!” the kid yells, dapping up chris. i groan, immediately smelling the huge cloud of weed that followed him.

“oh my god i love this song!” nick beamed, pulling me towards the crowd of kids dancing. i smile hearing the song, dueces by chris brown playing.

“nick i’m in heels!” i laugh, practically tripping over my own feet. we made it to the dance floor in one piece and nick immediately started dancing. i stood there for a minute before i slowly started moving to the beat of the song. my hips swayed to the beat as one of my hands went in the hair.

“always hoping for the worst, waiting for me to fuck up.” i sing lightly, moving my hips as i slowly dropped closer to the floor. i felt eyes on me but ignored them as me and nick started dancing together.

10:58 pm - the party

me and nick had been dancing for at least an hour and i was so focused on dancing with my best friend that i didn’t even notice the guy come up behind me. when i felt someone grab my arm i quickly turned around.

“hey, i’m cameron.” he greeted, a smile on his face.

“y/n.” i say and he sticks his hand out for me to shake. i hesitate for a second. glancing around my surroundings i spot chris, who’s already looking at me. fuck he looks good. i shake off those thoughts and shake cameron’s hand.

“wanna dance?” i ask. he smiles and nods. we walk further into the dance floor, out of chris’ view. it’s for the sake of cameron because chris would be pissed.

11:03 pm - party still

me and cameron danced to one song before he was pulled away from me.

“hey baby.”

i look up to see chris. he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

“who’s this?” chris asked, looking at cameron. chris’s jaw was clenched, he was very obviously pissed off.

“cameron.” cameron tells him.

“cool, so why were you dancing with my girlfriend?” my eyes go wide.

“uh sorry man she didn’t tell me she had a boyfriend.” cameron apologizes, walking away. i throw chris’s arm off me.

“what the fuck chris?!” i yell, making sure he can hear me over the music. he grabs my wrist and pulls me away from everyone. he walks us upstairs, finding an empty bathroom.

“chris what?” i question, watching as chris locks the bathroom door.

“why were you dancing with him?” he asks, dead serious. i almost laugh.

“because i wanted to have fun? why do you always do this?” i sigh, throwing my hands in the air in anger.

“you know why!” he shouts, my brows furrow together.

“no i don’t chris! you pull this shit every time, i genuinely don’t get it. do you just not want me to happy or something?” i snap, raising my voice even louder than his. one thing i’ve learned in life is that if someone is yelling at you just yell louder than them.

“i just don’t want you with anyone else!” he blurts out, immediately regretting it after saying it.

“shit.” he mutters, going to unlock the bathroom door. i quickly stop him, pushing the door closed.

“no no what do you mean?” i ask, looking up at him. he sighs.

“come on i’d like to think you’re not that stupid.” he moves closer to me, his hand resting on my forearm.

“no.” i shake my head, not wanting to believe it. he’s my best friend’s brother. how would they react? millions of thoughts run through my head. he nods his head and that was all i needed to confirm my suspicions.

“you really didn’t see it? me constantly flirting, calling you names and bringing up us dating. it was right there.” he explains, waiting for my response.

i look up at chris, my eyes meeting his. my breath hitches and my breath quickens.

“chris?” i whisper, inching closer to his face.

“yeah?” he softly says, his hands slowly moving up my arms. i shake my head, placing my hands on his cheeks and pushing my lips against his.

i pull away with a sigh.

“we shouldn’t be doing this chris.” i tell him, moving my hands down to his shoulders. we should be doing this, but yet i still wanted too.

“i know.” he whispers, slowly backing away from me. my eyes soften, realizing he thought i didn’t wanna do this.

i quickly grab his face, connecting our lips once again.

goosebumps ran down my body as chris’ hands went to my hips, lightly pushing my against the wall.

his hands dig into my hips causing me to let out a soft whimper. he took the opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth. our tongues fought for dominance. his hands started roaming my body

“you’re so beautiful mama.” chris tells me, pulling away from the kiss and resting his forehead on my own.

i smile, pressing my lips to his again only to be cut off by a pounding on the door. i let out a gasp, jumping.

“y/n are you in there?”

“yeah!” i shout.

“have you seen chris? i can’t find him!” nick screams over the loud music. my eyes go wide.

“no i haven’t seen him.” i lie, looking up at chris who was struggling to get his laughter in.

“can you help me look? matt’s ready to leave.” nick tells me.

“yeah i’ll be out in a minute.” i yell to which i receive an ‘okay’ before he walked away.

me and chris looked up at each other and we bursted out laughing.

“i love you chris.” i tell him, hugging him too.

“i love you more baby.” he hugs me back, his arms going around my torso.

and so here she sits, begging to join the ranks of the assassins the ballet has to offer, but a mother's refusal to allow it. can she convince her mother now that she's in her mid 20's? Or will she forever remain a porcelain doll meant to only be seen and never touched? right now the only answer is that the dark haired assassin in the city, clad fully in black, has certainly caught the attention of people higher up on the food chain.

Okay so disclaimer: I normally don’t go on Twitter, I stay away from the celeb gossip and pretty much the only reason I have it right now is for sports stuff and to stay up to date on the BTTMW2 convention in November. I also know that celebs are humans and they’re going to have differing opinions.

However there’s something about Dove Cameron liking a tweet condensing the Try Guys scandal as ‘imagine your husband cheated and then his friends give interviews about how traumatizing it’s been for them’ that gets my back up.

Ned wasn’t just their friend, he was their best friend going all the way back to their buzzfeed days. Ned was one of Keith’s groomsmen, Eugene babysat his kid even though he was not the most fond of babies…the four of them were brothers in a way.

As well, Eugene, Zach and Keith were friends with Ariel on top of the fact that Ned doing this fucked with the company that they built, that Ned convinced them to build, because he as co-owner of the company had an affair with a subordinate. And by the way they only had three weeks from when they learned the news to when the news officially dropped for the fans. That much stress that fast while grieving the end of a decade long friendship and worrying that your business is going to go under because of this hit to your brand is traumatic. And to make it seem like the men folk are making this about them while the dutiful wife should be the one doing interviews…

I dunno, maybe I’m wrong for this. Like I said, people have differing opinions on the topic and I know my perspective’s clouded since my mother’s first marriage ended because her husband cheated though not with an employee that I’m aware of. But considering Dove’s Breakfast music video had clear social commentary on the state of women’s rights in this country maybe that’s why I’m a little surprised to see her liking a tweet like this?

Then again, I doubt she runs her own socials at this point so there’s that too.

Rewatching Julie and the Phantoms and I...I just don’t understand the decision to cancel this show. 

I mean first of all, can we talk about the lack of tired plot points on the show? The siblings get along and don’t act like bitter enemies, the teenager actually respects their parent, the group of guy friends are emotional with each other without doubting their masculinity...hell there’s not the tired old ‘husband hates his in-law’ ‘gag’ (looking at you Simpsons). 

But one I didn’t realize they turned on their head until a re-watch is the ‘school administrator is the enemy’ trope. When Julie’s trying to rejoin her music program, her teacher says her hands are tied (understandable because teachers gotta follow rules too). JatP could have easily made it so that the principal was some mustache twirling, nefarious, ‘ooh I hate kids’ trope we’ve seen a hundred times before. 

But they didn’t. 

When Julie’s teacher tells her again that her hands are tied about getting her into the music program after Julie preforms Bright, the principal responds with ‘but mine aren’t’ (which begs the question why didn’t Julie just ask the principal but show gotta show) and then goes on to say basically ‘don’t do this again but when you win your grammy I want to be thanked’ 

As a 90s kid who actually had some decent teachers, seeing them finally portrayed like humans (even on a ‘kids’ show) is refreshing.
