You've been left beaten down and by someone you really trusted and loved, so now love doesn't come easy for you. You want it to. You want to love and be loved, but you're not sure you remember how. So you need someone else to take the lead. They have to be gentle and sweet and patient. They have to watch out for you, and make sure youre doing okay, because most days you feel a little fragile, if not totally shattered. But someone will come along who will put those pieces back together again.

When asked to sum up Sunset badly, I usually go with: Telepaths ruin everything.

An actual blurb:

SolCorp was founded to hide the existence of knacked people and their myriad of superhuman powers from the world, keeping humans safe from out-of-control knacks and keeping knacked people safe from human intolerance. So when they discover that one rogue Sol scientist had generated 25 babies with a defective Probability Manipulation knack and abandoned them out in the world fourteen years ago, it's up to SolCorp to find them and bring them back. But maybe their knacks weren't so defective after all because as three of the Venus 25 grow into adulthood, improbable things start happening that will change SolCorp and the world forever.

Sunset is a slow-burn of mounting tension and stakes that only get higher with expansive worldbuilding and a majority LGBTQIA+ ensemble cast that has something for everyone from espionage to adventure to romance and even a dash of monster hunting.

Extras on Patreon include things like exclusive deleted & bonus scenes, Baguette updates, early access to art and fiction, correspondence from LAHQ, and gift packages of merch.

Vol 1: Joey sees the history of everything and everyone he touches as translucent blue ghosts acting out the past all around him. And this includes his own past, which is how Joey knows he wasn't born, he was made. Made and thrown away. What he doesn't know is that the people who made him, SolCorp, are actively working to find him and bring him "home" to be with others that have supernatural knacks like Joey. Neither one has any idea how much that will change them both forever.

Vol 2: And then nothing was the same ever again.

Love Revolution: The Cast

Our story begins in the present day, but our heroine inadvertently travels

through time back to the colonial era, where the fate of her homeland and

the lives of seven young men rest in her hands. Will she choose to follow

the story as told in her textbooks, or risk changing the future through

finding love in the past?

DRAMATIS PERSONAE:

-EMILY, the protagonist. Fairly neutral characterization to allow the player to guide her actions and reactions.

-DAVID, the boy-next-door in the modern era, a fellow student who is friends with Emily. Travels back in time to a different colony, so Emily doesn't find him until later in the game. Unlockable.

-JAMES (Madison), a dashing young man in the colonial era with a passion for discussing dangerous ideas, like personal freedoms and inalienable rights.

-GEORGE (Washington), the leader of the crew, who seems gifted with the ability to herd cats-- I mean, idealistic young men with a plan to make the world a better place.

-BENJAMIN (Franklin), the 'bad boy' character, who always seems to know more than he lets on and travels to other countries. His route will allow Emily to discover Paris. Probably the most risqué route.

-JOHN (Adams), the voice of moderation in the group. He calms down James and Thomas and keeps them out of trouble, and is best friends with George.

-ALEXANDER (Hamilton), the rival of John, but good friends with James and Jay. Best at financial sense of the group, but tends to get argumentative with John and George.

-(John) JAY, the dark horse option. Very sensitive and empathetic with the protag and with anyone (especially slaves and servants around town) who he perceives as needing his support.

-THOMAS (Jefferson), the youngest of the group, whose ideas about independence get him in hot water more often than not.

SIDE CHARACTERS:

-MARY, a widow in her thirties who has not remarried. She finds Emily unconscious in the street and takes her in, giving her a place to stay. Somewhere between maternal and older sister towards Emily.

-DR. HOWE, the city Doctor in Williamsburg

-ASSORTED TOWNSFOLK
