And now for some long-ass context…

It was originally just for a lesson we were doing in college. Every Wednesday we have this thing called “Workshop Wednesdays”, and one of the things involving it is the first two lesson being dedicated to doing something to a related subject (Like digital art, tattooing ect). For the digital lesson that I was doing, it was about redesigning video game covers. Idk why, but the thing idea that came to me was Sonic Adventures. To get an idea on what I could do for it, I searched up what year the game was released, which was 1998. And I then got an idea. What if I redesigned to what Sonic might have looked like in that year? So using references of the clothing rules in the 1990s, I was able to compose a redesign of Sonic. And I enjoyed it so much, I thought… why not do more? So I did three more! And now I’ve finished Knuckles, I’ve been letting people request other characters I should do. I’ve already gotten a few, along with some thoughts of doing Shadow and Rouge. So once I’ve finished those, I’ll definitely show them here. I might also make an analogy post going through the designs themselves, possibly in the form of a reblog.

Just a COUPLE of thoughts under the cut.

SCRAPPER.

Alright, this guy. I love this guy. Of course one has to take into account the little bits about what is official and let’s just do that.

He is not normal or standard. He is not just modest and he is not just crazy. He is both of those things and neither, He Is Complex.

He is perfectly able to understand ranks and positions, but does he respect those in his mind?

Of course he does. And he does not. And of course he measures everything in relations to his priorities and team’s well-being. He gets an order and a job? Fine, if that is partly sound then he is going to make it impossible to ignore with his competence. He will put his best, and his team’s best, in what he does. He salutes and he nods all that while making his own schemes in his head. He never takes orders, he takes tips. The only people he only and really listens to are his gestalt members. The ones he truly respects.

He is sarcastic and he is kind. He rarely hates because he has done that in the past and learned that nothing can come out of it, n-o-t-h-i-n-g. So he schooled himself in time.

He is not just the leader, he wears many roles. Commanding, understanding, brotherly, stern and kind roles. He is kaleidoscopic. He is insanely competent, multitalented, an excellent engineer, strict and precise and also shifting. He uses engineering for those part of his mind that asks for jabs of passing pleasure – a design working, a calculations done with precision with an ending solution that looks like the monument of his efforts -  and then he turns to art. His art is not kind. His art is not just gloomy or gory, his art is dreamy, dark and intense, and reach in contrast and so very distant from what he realizes with his other talents. He is not simply genuine, his mind and what he creates blends together. A mind flowing, and clotting and uprising. He designs what his thoughts design too. And a nice, beautiful building could never express the density of what he creates with his art.

He can be funny, he steps down and he is laid back or just so very cutting.

He questions himself because he doesn’t ignore emotions. He knows those are essential and a vessel for understanding and he lets them flows through him without never being ruled by them. He wants to learn from them without succumbing.

Without him, everything is lost. Maybe the team could survive physically, but never mentally.

I want to meet him and have a confrontation with him and lose with every single subject of the conversation. I would.

And speaking about design, he is strong and his tires and shovel are amazing and I want to caress his magnificent, square helm. Do not take away that mask, I wanna bet on what look is hidden behind and lose the bet.

In the end, he is fragmented by his role and so very sound on his own. He knows his worth and doesn’t need others to validate it.

He Loves his team and doesn’t want to live without them.

But if it was needed, he would let them go and let them have their lifes. Because he is strong enough.

Everything we know about Bill Cipher's past so far

His home was called Euclydia and it was entirely two dimensional. ("Flat minds in a flat world with flat dreams.")

Bill was unique among his people because he had a mutation that allowed him to see the third dimension. This can mean that either a) Euclideans don't have eyes and Bill is the only one who had one or b) if they did have eyes, he literally had a third eye.

Bill's parents were most likely named Scalene and Euclid. Entering either of their names into the computer gives the prompt LIFE FORM NOT FOUND. Bill is stated to only draw red and blue triangles in art therapy, so those were probably their appearances.

From the code JUSTFITIN, you get this colour-coded poem:

Bill says that everyone in Euclydia loved him. However, it's more likely that he was feared because of his mutation and talk of a third dimension. Bill has said numerous times that love and fear are the same, and if you enter WELLWELLWELLBEING into the computer:

Bill's parents took him to a doctor to help suppress his vision of the third dimension. This has been discovered through the codes on the silly straw page:

Fussy eater, baby Billy / Wouldn't drink unless it's silly The doctor says three sips a day / Will make the visions go away Eye doctor of a different kind / Who wants to make his patient blind Twisted out of shape after the kill / The ghosts of his family are haunting him still

Bill is responsible for the Euclidean massacre. Reversed audio on the website says that "the sky is on fire", and when Bill talks about liberating his dimension, his eye shows a fiery landscape too. Though he claims to have liberated them both in Weirdmageddon and the transmission with Time Baby, he is regretful and misses home. If you type in EVENHISLIESARELIES, you get a transcript of one of his sessions in the theraprism.

And from the axolotl's poem in Curse of the Time Pirate's Treasure:

When he tells Ford about his home dimension, he says that it was destroyed by a monster. And when Ford says that he could seek out the monster and get revenge on it, Bill replies: "Sixer, it would eat you alive." Bill also says that if he tries to talk about the day Euclydia was destroyed, there's a loud buzzing in his ears and he blacks out for 30 seconds. Still, he tells others that he freed everyone and that they are grateful for it. Until he gets drunk and starts calling out for his mom, asking her where she went...

Nexus is now trapped in that hellish place called "El Manicomio", very fitting for him, huh? His dimensional chip broke, and now he has to scrap his way out of that dimension while making friends and allies i don't think anyone remembers this but, those two bear children i drew before (Leften and Righty) are from this chaotic dimension

i desperately needed a scene where the two have a moment of empathy towards eachother despite everything. Their beef felt very one dimensional and frankly out of character at times. Playing veilguard really makes me wonder what could've been they had taken the same time and dedication into building the dynamics between the da2 companions.
