08.05.2024 || Driving exam in about half an hour. One hour from now I will have a driving license or not. Trying not to stress myself out by last minute watching videos of mock driving exams.

I am capable. I am confident. I'm going to meditate for 10 minutes.

I passed my driving exam, first fucking try (which is a flex where I'm from) and maybe it was because I was lucky and got a nice examiner, but still I can fucking drive!!!!

Does anybody have any good advice when it comes to dealing with stress???? Becuase ngl I'm kinda desperate at this point qwq Seeing as my driving exam is tomorrow and I feel like any moment now I'm going to vomit from stress. So. I either need someway to deal with it or to die. QwQ

My driving test was so surreal

rain, rush hour, after 3 hours of sleep

My instructor told me we would only know who the examiner will be when they show up - a guy looking like Vlad Dracul appeared and my instructor was like "uh-oh if he's the one you're done". Fortunately he left to torture some motorists. Turned out my examiner is a huge jerk who roasts people in a very offensive way (in my instructor's words "he has a unique humor" - my dude he's a toxic asshole who stresses out people...).

Two cars almost crashed into me after about a mile (they were in the wrong in both cases).

I slowed down when a lady appeared with a huge dog at a crosswalk and the examiner was like "go, go, Clifford is just taking a piss" but half a minute later he praised me for being careful??? Mixed signals huh

Had to drive on a highway for a bit and that was the most relaxed I felt lol no pedestrians, dogs, kids, bikes

Instead of roasting me the examiner roasted the government with the instructor and at one point I enjoyed them badmouthing the politicians so much that I didn't notice the green light lol

Only had to do one parking (if I'm correct, it should be two per exam??) and it was a relatively easy one, I haven't had such an easy parking during the lessons (and I fucking hate bay parking, I'm better at parallel)

All in all it went better than my lessons?? Made a few mistakes but the examiner got some... Erm, friendly encouragement beforehand so he behaved in the car and was pretty sympathetic towards me.

And I passed and now I'm on cloud nine!

Just a few hours later I managed to pass my first aid exam as well so now I have everything to obtain a driving license!

The first aid exam was interesting (or rather bizarre) as well, the examiner didn't let us explain anything and tried to mess with us, asking the most ridiculous and irrelevant questions ("what is this pose called?" my man, I don't have a clue but a dying person wouldn't care about it either if it saves their life!) - I really thought we'd all fail but turns out you only fail this exam if you perform CPR by pressing the head or killing your partner while you try to achieve recovery position.

Anyway! Just ten days or so and I can finally use my car!
