Hey y'all. I'm usually not one for this, but right now I'm in a desperate way.
Long story short I was falsely accused of neglect and as a result have been suspended indefinitely until the investigation is completed. This has left me short on cash and unable to make rent or buy food and pay bills.

bighit music will achieve new, unexpected things that will benefit the company well. since the achievement/s in question are quite unexpected, it can be related to tommorow x together’s recent collaboration with anitta. that will make the group more desired for collaborations and other activities. if that happens to be for v or jungkook (assuming he’ll release album in the near future), the same thing applies to one of the boys. aomg is doing well, everything is going good to them and their artists. although quiter tham the rest, they’re doing just fine in their pace (knight of cups)
koz is trying to manifest something that will make the company rise. there might be offer that will come towards their current group or zico/dvwn. whatever will come to the company will bring significant change. (page of cups)
yg entertainment might be aware of new, possible opportunities in the future. however, i’m not sure for where this is all about since the options are many: it can be for treasure, it can be for blackpink, it can be for babymonster, it can be for akmu, it can be for something totally different that’s not related to their groups at all. dsp media is in early stages of rebranding gavy nj OR debuting young posse alongside with beats entertainment… looks like it’s the first one (page of wands) the second thing is already spoiled

there’s important desicion that starship entertainment has to make in regards of investment/money. it could be because of kakao’s desicion to sell the subsidiary for ai purposes, especially when they have ive. currently starship can afford to not be subsidiary anymore, but they’re cautious whether it’s worth it or not. sm entertainment seems to be “collabing” with some people that will benefit the company in the furure. alternatively, the company might celebrate riize’s debut that happened recently and the surrounding buzz around the boys. the surrounding energy isn’t that memorable, it’s just the company doing their job. despite of jyp entertainment working hard, they’re in short of money. unfortunately, the company seems to save as much as possible because of possible losses. it happened with the time and they lost bigger amount of money than allowed. unless there are changes, the company will stay in similar situation. both 143 and woolim are in situations that find something unfulfilling and lose bigger amount of money than expected. (for woolim possibly one or all of their groups while for 143 possibly limelight) unfortunately, they have to give up trying to open new doors for something else. ist entertainment should be careful of being scammed or of artists who want to leave the company as the creative freedom there is limited due to the merges. the company is focused on the money rather than their artists’ freedom and it will catch them sooner or later (king of cups rx)
kq has to be very careful as deception is on the horizon. from the ateez career reading check until 2025, it looks like someone from their company’s staff will do it instead of the boys. whatever they are doing will come to an end and it’s time for needed, for big, for important changes. this is definitely behind the scenes related. jyp entertaiment can do quite well, however in my opinion their energy is instable because of some reasons: 1) the empress can be very individual card (in my opinion) as well as very beneficial in their industry, so the possibilities here in my opinion for the empress are two - many individual gigs from their idols or the creativity from their idols will rise more than ever. however 2) 2 of cups can indicate many collaborations OR the company becoming a subsidiary of another such as hybe or kakao (although rbw is possible too, it's more unlikely. hybe's chairman and jype's chairman WERE classmates and si hyuk was working with jype in the past while kakao is one of the richest companies of all in south korea. i personally think if the subsidiary thing happens, it will be with hybe for friendship reasons) 3) the bottom card is ace of pentacles, so many money is involved by that time and assuming how the groups are currently doing: twice as a group seems to weaken, 2pm is doing their things, boystory is promoting in china and idqk how is their relevance there, itzy's popularity isn't like before, day6 are also doing their things + they have members in the military, right?, niziu(ik they're japanese group but imo it aligns internationally; i see their sales in japan are around 200k almost every time so yeah idk if that's good or not), xdinary heroes and nmixx aren't that relevant in south korea and even internationally to some extent (compared to twice and skz, ik xdinary heroes and nmixx have fans but it's simply not enough imo) so stray kids and individual members of the other groups such as nayeon and some others are doing the best but it's not enough for now it looks like both options are possible; i personally think jype can become a subsidiary, possibly of hybe, and only then the creative freedom for the company will rise (the empress, 2 of cups + clarifying card: ace of pentacles)

woolim entertaiment's energy is instable. i can see something that happens in their favor but something else had to be sacrifised such as much more money, someone else as trainee or something that's different. they might have viral moment that will come but at cost that they will don't know what to do. similar as ist entertaiment, woolim will receive something that will be unexcepted and they won't know what to do to keep the increasing relevance. personally i am not sure what will happen to ctdenm but if they happen to merge with modhaus (because of loona) or taking different route, they will try to fight over something that currently makes them working more chaotic than usual. their future is blocked/delayed from me to see. (9 of wands, clarifying card: ace of wands rx + i am aware the cards are the same as pnation for now but their situation bc of loona makes it difficult for me to see if they are in the same path with modhaus for me)

okay I am Still thinking about mr. tumblr CEO's post and my own speulation about ad-based revenue in the context of adult content, and I'm only just now realizing that matt didn't talk about advertising at all when discussing tumblr's potential revenue streams (except to mention that ad-free browsing subscriptions are one of the main ways automattic makes money off of tumblr atm), which is very interesting and more or less adheres to some of the patterns I've noticed in the new monetization features that tumblr's rolled out since the automattic takeover.
imo, this is also a good sign for the long-term longevity of this website, considering that we know that digital advertising is a mess, behavioral ads really don't work, and the programmatic ads ecosystem itself may or may not be a bubble. automattic, being a company that primarily makes money off of woocommerce and wordpress subscriptions, is certainly well aware of this; they also stand in contrast to tumblr's previous owner, yahoo/verizon media (although verizon itself got rolled back into the yahoo branding again in recent years… confusing) is itself a demand-side platform first and foremost. so verizon media would have been naturally more inclined to focus on an ad-based revenue model, both because they have faith in advertising in general but also (potentially) because verizon as a DSP stands to gain the most by facilitating programmatic ad purchases.
the real winners in the digital advertising ecosystem are the platforms that buy and sell ads on behalf of publishers (i.e., the people who own ad space to be sold); my understanding is that SSPs/DSPs/ad exchanges in general take a pretty big slice of the pie and the publishers themselves only make a small amount of money comparatively. this is also one reason that advertising fraud and ineffective ads have gone unchecked for so long—ad exchanges make more money the more ads are bought and sold, so they have no incentive to cut down on bad traffic and unnecessary ad spend. (there are other reasons too, among them that it's just hard as fuck to sift through traffic data at scale.) but as brands are wising up to the pitfalls of the digital ads ecosystem, they're less likely to buy ads or are more likely to implement cheaper, more tightly-controlled campaigns; tumblr, being a publisher, is therefore selling less ad space and generating less revenue.
(this is where we start to get a little out of my knowledge range, because I still find the programmatic model confusing as shit, but my guess (and take this with a grain of salt) is that a verizon/yahoo-owned tumblr, being in cahoots with its sister DSP, would potentially have been making more money from the ad space it was brokering through the DSP than from the publisher revenue itself, but part of me is like "wait, wouldn't that make more sense if verizon/yahoo was an SSP??" so honestly I don't know. the possible-maybe-unclear takeaway here is that pre-automattic tumblr might have been making their ad money by being both the shopkeeper and the manufacturer, so to speak, which possibly-maybe implies that they would have been incentivized to sell by volume rather than offering particularly high-quality inventory, although that might not even matter here.)
anyway. so if we look at New Tumblr's (i.e., automattic's) answer to the programmatic nightmare, we see two interesting things. one is the ad-free upgrade, which we can take to mean that tumblr is probably making significantly less than $40 per year per user in terms of ad inventory; they're smart to still show ads in general, since that (1) at least generates some revenue for non-paid users and (2) provides an incentive to upgrade to a paid plan. the other thing is tumblr blaze, which is essentially a direct-to-buyer ad model that removes all the middlemen involved in programmatic ads. reddit recently moved away from programmatic ads entirely with great results. so instead of generating revenue through a relationship that looks like this:

(with stripe in the middle taking a cut as their payment processor, but I'm sure it's not much.)
tumblr blaze isn't quite on reddit's level (at least not yet), and my hunch is that it'll remain more of a thing for actual tumblr users to "market" non-traditional advertising posts (e.g., pictures of your cat), but this signals a willingness to look beyond the programmatic ecosystem in advertising-related matters.
tumblr has also dabbled in non-advertising monetization models with things like post plus and whatever nascent ecommerce-adjacent thing is going on with artistalley (I guess the latter is sort of advertising-y but less blatantly so). artistalley in particular is interesting to me and I'm curious to see if this signals any kind of plan to create a tumblr/woocommerce integration so people can sell stuff directly from their blogs but that is a whole other animal.
now, with that said, shying away from programmatic-based revenue models (or ad-based models entirely) doesn't resolve the whole "we still can't host porn" problem; stripe includes adult content on its list of restricted businesses; their FAQ notes that "due to various reasons including requirements that apply to Stripe as a payment processor, requirements from our financial partners, and the potential risk exposure to Stripe, we're currently not able to work with businesses that sell or offer adult content or services."
and yeah, you could argue that reddit sells ad space despite hosting lots of adult content, but they're operating on a wholly different scale with far more leverage (remember, their parent company is conde fucking nast) and we don't know how exactly money is changing hands here. even if reddit were using a major payment processor and that payment processor is just choosing to look the other way, unequal enforcement of the rules isn't proof that everyone else will be able to evade enforcement, either in the short or long term. don't forget that we're talking about tumblr here, a website that yahoo sold for less than 0.3% of what they paid to acquire it. reddit- or twitter-level leverage is basically nonexistent.

Hello Tumblr SPN Family...

When I started this blog, I had a lot of ideas for polls that would be fun to do, and hopefully get some thoughts from the wider Supernatural family.
This fandom can feel very divided sometimes and it can make the angles we consider this show from feel very segmented; by ship or by character or by story arc. Obviously, creating polls which pit those things against each other is not the solution to unifying us into one holistic hive mind. However, when we find ourselves wondering "what really is the deal with Chuck?" and we pose such a question to our own individual echo chamber, what kind of answers are we getting back?
The idea here was to break free from our silos, and ask questions which would reach members of the SPN family on Tumblr who we may not usually interact with, and perhaps receive back a less biased view than we would see on our own blogs. Sometimes, an opinion is only controversial because of who it's presented to. I am just one anonymous Supernatural fan trying to gather those more "controversial" thoughts and see how controversial they actually are.
My aim has always been to put out a new poll every day (just before noon UTC), and so far this has been working well. I still have ideas, but some of them are taking a little longer to pull together than I'd originally anticipated. I have loved seeing all your responses so far, even when I don't agree, and I would love to keep this blog going, but I could really use your help.
If you have any ideas, no matter how vague, please send them to me via ask, submission or dm. I'd really appreciate the assistance. Most of you can probably create your own polls now, and some of you are probably even feeling some poll fatigue, but I hope there are a few of you who are finding this blog interesting.

We know about the biography of 8 characters in Ice Scream. At the same time, 4 more are shown under the sign (?). Therefore, the full composition of Ice Scream should consist of 12 characters. These cannot be episodes, as their total number is also 12, which does not correspond to the number (?). There is a Squid character, as well as DSP mentioned that Yukisada's brother will appear in the game. Plus, Nagi, Idate's niece, could be seen in Round 2 of Ice Watching and some official work. We can also expect the appearance of Peraco's father, which was mentioned in 1 Watch of the Ice Scream. And thus, the columns with (?) can be filled, but this is provided that the DSP does not change anything in the full version of the game.

This partly explains why Rock and Peraco get along so well. And it seems that without her or the other kids, Shirogane and anyone else would not be able to get a bucket of fish from him (maybe the exception to this is Yukisada, but I'm not sure…).

I will only note that the reason for bullying someone at Orca is not the level of strength of the intended victim: someone can be a complete weakling or a complete strong, but this absolutely does not guarantee that you will become a victim of attacks by Idate in any of these cases. These physical parameters are not the main and decisive ones for him. Rather, it could be a "nice bonus" for him if you're strong, or an "extra opportunity for bullying" if you're weak.

Did you do it ?
I've changed the colours around, but I haven't really gone into the full remodeling bits yet - I've glanced at it a few times and every time found it kind of intimidating? And also very demanding in in-game resources?
By the looks of it, it's basically this voxel thing where you place cuboids into shapes and... in some cases it might smooth the result a bit? Maybe? It's the kind of thing that's going to require a lot of effort to figure out so I've yet to really try to get into it.
Besides, looks like if I want the traditional Kitty Magic green visual sensor look, I'm going to need to reach a point where I can produce green research cubes first.

Taylor Swift has done that rare thing in recorded music in 2022 by exceeding expectations for her latest album.
At a time when even the biggest artists’ releases tend to perform less well than previous albums, in large part because of the shift to a consumption model, Swift’s 10th original studio album, Midnights, has stunned the industry in the past week. Its weekly sales are, in fact, higher than any of her previous albums by more than 100%.
Swift also secured the UK charts double with Anti-Hero debuting at the singles summit. Swift is the first female artist since Miley Cyrus in 2013 to achieve an albums and singles chart double.
Midnights (EMI) opened at No.1 with blockbuster sales of 204,501, which is more than the rest of the Top 14 albums combined. The album has also broken vinyl sales records for the 21st century, and secured the biggest weekly streaming total since Ed Sheeran’s Divide in 2017.
The result powered EMI to a 16.8% share as the No.1 label based on the All Music (All Albums) and (Artist Albums) metrics. The label also had the Top 4 singles (including former No.1 Unholy by Sam Smith & Kim Petras), and five of the Top 6 (including Lewis Capaldi’s former No.1 Forget Me).
Swift’s latest LP is the first to top 200,000 sales since Adele’s 30 in December 2021, which was itself the biggest weekly sale since Ed Sheeran’s ÷ posted 206,411 in its third week at No.1 in March 2017. Midnights is already the third biggest album of the year to date, behind Harry Styles’s Harry’s House and Ed Sheeran’s =.
Even before the final result, Midnights was declared the fastest-selling album of 2022 so far based on Midweek sales flashes. It surpassed the 113,812 week one sales for Harry Styles’ Harry’s House by the weekend.
Swift’s week one performance means that she has also beaten Harry Styles’ record for the fastest vinyl sales of the 21st century. Midnight’s staggering vinyl total of 61,948 was helped by multiple coloured editions for fans. It also sold 75,667 CDs, helped in part by the deluxe CD edition’s bonus track, Hits Different, which is not on DSPs.
Physical sales of 139,450 dominated the week one total for Midnights, but it has also been a streaming phenomenon. With 57,964 sales-equivalent streams, the album has the biggest weekly total since Ed Sheeran’s second week at No.1 with ÷ in 2017 (58,280). The ÷ week one tally of 78,944 suggests that it will hold on to that streaming record for some while yet.
Midnights racked up 72.5 million streams in seven days, surpassing Harry Styles’ 53.9m with Harry’s House earlier this year.
Of course, the streaming performance is evident on the singles chart where, as well as No.1 with Anti-Hero (78,993 sales), Swift debuted at No.3 with Lavender Haze (51,308) and No.4 with Snow On The Beach feat. Coming so soon after a fantastically successful National Album Day earlier this month, the successes also highlight just how popular albums continue to be in the digital era – and suggest that the pre-Christmas sales surge is underway.” Midnights is Taylor Swift’s ninth consecutive No.1 album (including the re-recorded version of Red and Fearless in 2021). It is also her fifth No.1 in just over two years.
With nine consecutive chart-topping albums, Swift has overtaken Madonna to set a new chart record, generating the fastest succession of nine UK No.1 albums of any female artist. Madonna retains the title of the female artist with the most No.1 albums (12), but Swift has overtaken Kylie Minogue to follow in second place. Swift has also extended her lead as the female solo artist with the highest collection of No.1 albums this century.
Red (Taylor’s Version) became Swift’s fourth No.1 album in 476 days last year, beating the previous record of 518 days set by The Beatles in 1964/65.
For Midnights, comparisons with previous Swift releases are problematic. Red (Taylor’s Version) posted 72,319 week one sales last November, but that was not an original studio album. The same applied to Fearless (Taylor’s Version), which debuted at the summit in April 2021 with 21,145 sales.
In 2020, Swift secured No.1 lockdown albums with Folklore (37,060) and Evermore (27,532) - but both of those were initially digital-only releases.
Lover, released in August 2019, had opening sales across digital and physical of 53,015. The album marked Swift’s embrace of streaming, following the windowed release on DSPs of previous albums. Reputation, released in November 2017, opened with pure sales of 83,648 (including 41,795 from paid-for downloads). It arrived on streaming platforms some months later.
On a streaming basis, which is a more direct comparison, Midnights (on 57,964 sales-equivalent streams) has clearly outperformed its studio album predecessors for its week one total: Evermore (20,771), Folklore (24,050), Lover (17,891).
For the record, 1989 sold 90,336 copies on its August 2016 debut; Red, which started her sequence of chart-toppers, sold 61,779 copies in October 2012. As well as providing her biggest first week sale, 1989 is Swift’s biggest-seller overall, with consumption of 1,517,982 copies so far.
Taylor Swift scored her first UK No.1 album 10 years ago in October 2012 with Red, whereas it took Madonna 21 years to reach the same tally.
The Beatles hold the overall record, racking up nine chart toppers in five years and seven months between their debut album Please Please Me in May 1963 and The White Album in December 1968.

So I wanted to discuss the main trigger that has somewhat reintroduced the depression. I think a large contributor to the return of my depression is that for the first time since I started this job things were more stressful than enjoyable for the past week. It’s definitely not a deal breaker as the circumstances surrounding it are out of the ordinary and temporary.
In order for this to make more sense I want to write a quick explanation. I was hired as the Mental Health Clinician aka the therapist. There is a different job called a DSP or Direct Support Professional. The DSP’s work directly with the client (mostly on a one to one basis given the client’s level of functioning). As the therapist I am part of the ‘management team’ and NOT a DSP. When I say I am doing a ‘floor shift’ I am essentially doing the job of a DSP and not my own job. I usually do this in order to help out when DSP’s are short-staffed.
However, due to a multitude of circumstances, for the past week both houses (1 male, 1 female) have been more understaffed then ever. As a result, everyone in management (including me) has been asked to help out and do floor shifts. I did 3 floor shifts this past week. I was was originally scheduled for 4 but I canceled on one because that would have turned into a 13hr day. By the end of day 3, I was pretty much brain dead. It wasn’t so much just the floor shifts. I actually enjoy those as it’s fun to spend time with the clients and DSP’s. But I did, 3 floor shifts, my own job, and the audit (which involved completing a lot of paperwork). The night before the audit I stayed up until 2am working on everything since couldn’t get it done while working a floor shift.
Due to all of this I’ve pretty much started to fall behind on my own job responsibilities. By the end of all the floor shifts last week I was so burned out from everything that I could hardly think straight. I ended up working from home on Friday because I really needed some rest. But that day I also got a group email that was sent to all of management from our Executive Director. She was saying she needs all of us to work a minimum of 3 floor shifts next week (aka this week). Here we are again. I’m really not sure I have the stamina for this, especially since I once again felt (physically) really bad today. I am now scheduled to work AM floor shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday AND I need to catch up on my own work.
This is basically why work has been more stressful than enjoyable recently. I’m trying to remind myself that this is due to things that aren’t really in anyone’s control and it’s not a permanent arrangement. It’s an emergency and everyone needs to help out in order to make it work. I’m just not really sure how I will get through this week. I don’t exactly have a lot of energy to begin with. Ugh!

HOW DOES BOHDIE SOUND DESIGN?
I'm gonna make a whole series of posts dedicated to just sound design at some point because BOY do I love just Fucking around with knobs and dials and buttons and claiming I have a profession. Shaping a sound into something I want it to be is kinda easy for me personally. How it usually goes is something like
Take a sound that is a good basis for the end product. Doesn't have to sound even anything like it, it could just have some of the elements you want. EG for this track I needed something organic and familiar sounding to start off with, as the end result I wanted to get was something familiar, yet warped and destroyed
Determine what you want to turn the sound into. Ideally this comes before even step one, but we'll ignore that
(here's the fun bit) GO FUCKING NUTS WITH PLUGINS. if you have outboard stuff that can achieve the same result, though, USE THAT. I just bought two (2) tape players/recorders on the cheap (more about what I'm using those for in another post one day)

Rounding out my insane ramblings on this post, I'm gonna mention the instrumentation, plugins, and other miscellaneous stuff in case you're interested: Mainly used Baby Audio's BA-01 synth, that goes for the bass tracks, pad and melody (although not the sub bass I used a built-in 808 for that) Plugins, as mentioned, a lot of Digitalis for digitising the cool organic, not-quite-there voices, as well as Deelay for the delay, RC-20 to add some flutter and noise, and a built in EQ and compression for light initial mixing. Boring stuff tbh :(

in all seriousness tho..... no the DSP fandom wasn’t perfect and no DSP themselves + their work weren’t perfect but the fact is that DSP fandom showed me a level of attention and treated me with a level of kindness and encouragement that I Definitely was not used to at the time I started posting DSP art online and I grew Immensely as an artist as a result of being in the fandom and if nothing else I will Always be grateful for that and I have no regrets. not a single one
