If I Were a Lich, Man is a trilogy of funny Jewish roleplaying games about creative resistance against authoritarianism. The villains in the stories of our oppressors become the heroes in our play. Written and illustrated by a team of avant-garde Jewish designers, this box set includes rules for all three games, game cards & a set of wooden dreidels. Recommended for fans of What We Do in the Shadows, Russian Doll, and Young Frankenstein. Dreidels also sold seperately! Included Games: If I Were A Lich, Man - A family of Jewish-coded Liches debate strategies for community survival against the murderous lawful good paladins. Inspired by Dungeons & Dragons and the Passover Seder. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Mitzvah - On the way to Ruthie’s Bat Mitzvah, a guest was bitten by a vampire bat and is transforming into a vampire during the formal reception. Grandma's Drinking Song - A singing game about a matriarchal Jewish family of bootleggers during Prohibition. Inspired by Lucian's family’s true stories.

D&D Homebrew: Some Winter-Themed Magic Items!

Happy Hannukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and other assorted winter holidays! The holiday season may be drawing to a close, but there is at least one present left for you to open: Some winter-themed magic items for your wacky Dungeons & Dragons hijinks!
I'm still pretty new when it comes to building homebrew content, so any feedback you've got would be extremely helpful. In the meantime, I hope these can give your games an extra dusting of holiday cheer!
Boots of Skating Wondrous item, common
These comfy, fur-lined winter boots were designed with convenience in mind. As a bonus action, you can tap their heels together, transforming them into a set of functional ice skates. While in this form, the wearer's movement speed increases by 15 ft. on flat, icy surfaces... but is reduced by 15 ft. on any other surface. Another bonus action can revert the boots back to their original form.
Fireheart Ornament Wondrous item, uncommon
A festive red ornament that is strangely warm to the touch, no matter how cold the weather gets. When affixed to a tree, wreath, or similar seasonal decoration, no creature within 60 feet of the ornament will suffer the ill effects of cold weather, remaining comfortably warm unless they stray beyond its radius or the ornament is removed. Powered by the mysterious forces of holiday cheer, the Fireheart Ornament only has this power during the winter season, and has no effect at any other time of year.
High-Stakes Dreidel Wondrous item, rare
A four-sided wooden top, each one marked with a symbol (nun, gimel, hei, and shin). Up to seven times a day, you can spin the dreidel by rolling a d4. The enchantment will cause a different magical effect depending on the side it lands on:
1 (nun): You take 1 force damage. 2 (shin): A single gold piece disappears from your belongings. 3 (hei): A single gold piece appears in your pocket. 4 (gimel): Your hit point maximum increases by 2 until the next dawn.
Staff of the Snow Wars Weapon (staff), very rare (requires attunement)
This magical staff, carved from an enchanted northern pine tree, was created for one purpose and one purpose only: winning snowball fights. But alas, it was just a tad overtuned for its intended purpose, and now it only sees use as a weapon of war. While holding this staff, you have resistance to cold damage.
The staff has 10 charges, which are used to fuel the spells within it. With the staff in hand, you can use your action to cast one of the following spells from the staff, using your spell save DC: snilloc's snowball swarm (2 charges) or wall of ice (5 charges). No material components are required.
The staff regains 1d6+2 expended charges each day at dawn. If you expend the staff's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff shatters and is destroyed.

Hey, just wondering for the holiday homebrew series (which i gotta say is AMAZING, hot diggity damn) are you going to make anything based on Hannukah?
This is an excellent question! I had some other ideas for my holiday homebrew that didn’t come together quite quickly enough to fit in my initial time frame, but this question got me motivated to put another one of them together. So I give unto you:
The Dreidel of Life Transference
Bonus Holiday Homebrew
A risky item that could save a life or potentially end one. Good for creative parties!
