The Scarecrow Girl - Dwellers Version

The Scarecrow Girl formerly lived in a small town as a regular young girl with brown eyes and black chin length. She lived with her average mother, father and was an only child. She grew up admiring the town farmer's son and they went to the same school and the same church.

At 15 years old, she began developing a crush on the farmer boy, she was utterly obsessed with him after a short while. Because her parents didn't want their young daughter dating and getting her heart broken, she had to hide her feelings until she couldn't take it anymore...

She told her parents she was in love but they were terrified for her and her overprotective father forbade her from ever seeing him again, going as far as to keep her locked away in her room for 4 years.

She tried to fight back but only ended up being abused for it, she couldn't escape the house and when she tried, she was tied down to her bed. From then on, she had to be force fed. When she screamed for help, she would be hit until her body was covered in scars and bruises.

Her screaming would last all night, every night until her mother called for the local priest to exorcise her. He came daily, screaming things at her while she begged for help, nobody ever came...

After 4 whole years of being abused, either force fed or starved, screamed at, beaten black and blue, tied down and mentally destroyed...her bonds came loose, randomly it seemed and finally, the hope she held onto, to finally confess, gave her strength.

Pale arms, bruised with long black hair reaching down her sides, she climbed out of her window in the dead of night and went to see the boy who looked at her in horror when he saw her and claimed she was a witch that came back from the dead.

Rejected and dejected, she made her way out to the farmer's field, took a pitch fork and stabbed it into her chest, letting her blood soak into the ground of where she and the farmer's son used to lay as children...

Days later, the farmer's son found the girls body. Instead of properly burying her, he thought that she was scary enough to be a new scarecrow and heartlessly, he dragged her body to his shed, mutilated her by stuffing her open wounds with straw, when the straw was pushed past her organs and through her mouth her once closed eyes opened again which he did not notice, he wandered out to the field, stuck her up on the post and nailed her rotting arms into the wood.

The boy had been, much more demented than the scarecrow had ever known when she was alive. He talked to her daily, she only wanted to talk back, like they used to but her eyes could still, her ears could still hear but her body, could not move.

One day, the boy came to the scarecrow and explained, he'd met a girl named Lily. He planned on bringing the young woman to his home and introducing her to the rotting corpse nailed to the wood. Enraged and jealous, the scarecrow screamed in front of the boy but he kept talking to her, ignoring her scream.

That night, a creature of mist and fog coloured in black and red appeared before the scarecrow, the creature named Zalgo explained he'd released her bounds and that he could more for her. The scarecrow begged for life again, she begged to have the chance to get rid of Lily and Zalgo granted it.....at a cost.

She swore she'd work for Zalgo forever if she could just live again and he granted that wish. Able to move again, she found a scythe and anxiously hurried toward the farm where she watched, seething with jealousy, as Lily and the farmer boy ate together with his family.

Finally, she broke the window, scaring the entire family which the scarecrow mercilessly slaughtered until it was just her and the boy, who was terrified of her. Just as she went to confess her love again, she was taken away by Zalgo and forced into the underworld...

As a Zalgoid minion, Scarecrow gave up on love and fully dedicates herself to Zalgo and her job as a minion. She, along with Stripes and The Rake, are always working and coming up with plots to take down the Slenderman and his workers...

Nobody disturbed Anti when he was working down in his room. That was just a fact of life in the ego house. Unless you were ready to lose it by metaphorically poking the bear with a stick. 

But for Jack it was more literally. 

Him and the others were supposed to be getting together to figure out some plot point and scenes for the cinematic universe the creator has been working on. But when the zalgo didn’t turn up in the living room along with everyone else, Jack decided to just go get him himself. The other egos shared some worried glances, but ultimately they let him go down to the basement alone. 

Descending the creaky steps leading to Anti’s domain, Jack shook his cellphone to turn on the flashlight feature- not wanting to piss the basement dweller off too much by turning on the big lights that would flood the space in blinding florressense. At the bottom of the stairway, the creator turned his phone off once more and observed the low-lit space.

Jack was pretty used to Anti’s basement room by now. Mounted to the brick walls were a few shelves and picture frames displaying some fanart sent to them over the years along with a few choice knives Anti kept mostly for decoration. 

Mostly.

Around his bed (with a sizeable gap under it- Chase swears the glitch sleeps under there rather than the actual bed) were some posters of metal bands and horror movies. Both on the far wall across from his bed and on the ceiling were some dart boards set up. Both disks were absolutely stuffed with a range of sharp objects, from knives and scissors to over-sharpened pencils and large needles. Surprisingly, not a whole lot of actual darts. You know, just some good and fun target practice.

The main light in the room came from wall of different sized monitors. Some playing repeating clips of disturbing scenery in a monochrome of green, while others were just moving static; casting weird light across the black desk littered with stab holes and other various dents and scratches. Aside from those, the only other light sources came from various (most likely stolen) red neon signs. The only “proper” light in the room that didn’t hurt Jack’s eyes came from.. Some kind of tank sitting on it’s own table next to Anti’s bed? 

Jack carefully walked over to the glass container casting warm, yellow light into the room and bent over to take a peek inside. A small huff of a laugh passed through his nose at the adorable sight of a baby turtle swimming around in the water, undisturbed by the human’s presence. 

“I̧t’s͜ ̢ru͘d̸é ̶t̡o ͠e͞nt͜e̸r҉ ͠s̶om̛eone’̀s r̀ơo͝m͢ ̛wi͠th̶out k͘n͢ockin͠g̶, ͜ya’kǹo̷w.̸” A slightly distorted, but otherwise calm voice chimed out, causing Jack to stand up straight again and turn his head to the lump in the black bean bag chair fiddling on their laptop. Well, fiddling was one way to put it. Anti’s hand was passed through the laptop’s screen as if it were submerged in thick, staticy honey. Gentle ripples forming away from his wrist as Anti adjusted his seat. 

“Ah, sorry man. Did you get my text? We’re all meeting upstairs to talk about.. cinematic universe stuff…” Jack said, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets, awkwardly walking over and peeking over at the screen the glitch’s hand was through. Instead of a distorted look of your hand like it would be through water: past the ripping screen Anti’s hand had turned into binary. 

“Y͘e͟ah͞. ͘I ch̡o̧se ̀to̵ ̡i̡gnor͝e̶ ̀i͝t.” Anti mumbled, slowly extracting his hand from the laptop’s screen. 

“I figured. That’s why I came down here to grab ya myself.” Jack quipped, his eye being drawn back to the tank with the little turtle inside. “When did you get a pet?”

“Wh̕a͝t’̛s i̡t ̸t̸o ͘y̢a͏?” Anti grumbled, closing the laptop a bit more harshly than was strictly necessary before glitching to the desk surrounded by monitors to plug in the computer to charge. 

“Nothin’ at all. It just caught me off guard is all.” Jack reasoned, walking over to the tank to take another look at the reptile swimming around the water.

After a moment of silence between the eldest ego and an unimpressed creator, Anti sighed and turned around to lean against his desk. “S̷o ̵y̛a͝ c͝au̕gh̕t͏ ̷m̵e̛. ̕Big deal.” 

Jack looked back at the glitch, confusion written over his face.

“I’҉m no̧t͡.̶.́ ͘co͡mple͢t͡e͠ly heartl̛ess.” Anti crossed his arms over his chest, trying to put a wall between himself and the other man. “Dơǹ’t ̨get me̕ w̡r̡ong,͟ ͡cr̡osş ̴m͟e͢ a̡n͡’ ̕ye̕r ͢f̸u̡ck͞iǹ’ ́d͞e҉a̧d̡. ̷B͡u̧ţ.̨.҉ ̡th̛e̡ ͟t͟u̶r͜t͠le͢ ͏di̢dn’t do s͟h̴i҉t͘e. So͝ ͠why ̀w͜o̶u̶ld I ̛h͡ur̀t i͝t͟?̵” The oldest ego couldn’t meet Jack’s eyes, staring down at the floor with knitted eyebrows. “There’s no͟ f̶un i̶n ̀th̷a̸t.” 

Jack smiled more to himself than at Anti. “Heh, sounds like you’re going soft, man.” The creator raised a hand as Anti snapped his head up ready to lash out. “Don’t worry. I won’t tell the others. It’s not my place to talk about your personal stuff.” 

Anti watched his face, as if silently calculating if the human was telling the truth. And when he saw no deceit in his eyes, his shoulders slumped with a sigh. “.̸.̀. Y͢ou sţil̷l͜ ̵nee͘d ҉hel̨p wit͡h͟ t̶h̷e ҉thing?” Jack beamed and nodded his head towards the stairs leading back to the rest of the house.

“So what’s their name?” He asked, holding the door open for the Zalgo being once they reached the top of the stairs.

It took a moment. But finally Anti quietly mumbled out, “C҉om͢e̴t͡.̀”

So two stories I’m focusing rn: Shadows of the Ark and SCP: Zero Point Terminal.

Shadows of the Ark is the first of the Ash and Dust series but also the finisher to the entire timeline before Zalgo,the Scarlet King,and a bunch of other angry gods decide that humanity is going to be their ragdoll??Idk?And the entire plot is about some school girl trying to get a passing grade while Slenderman and his minions fuck around with her daily routine by being absolute pricks to her.

Zero Point Terminal pretty much happens after before all of this bullshit and occurs during the year 2001,so yeah that’s a lot of controversy and erasure for the LGBT(especially the aces)at the time.Also Lathan’s batchmates are bigoted af for thinking his best friend is a terrorist for being Muslim.Then shit happens and he spends like two years and a half in the Foundation after they kidnap him(because scapegoats are always fun to use on innocent bystanders even if they have anomalous powers that can help progress your testing with other anomalous individuals).

Life is great for the Dwellers,one could tell.

What is slenderman like in your au ?

Ohhhh boy, Slenderman is one of, if not, the MOST important character in Dwellers.

His motives start as selfish and power hungry (Using his workers to kill innocent people so he can eat them)

But after Lazari shows up, Slenderman learns more about Zalgo and his plots to literally destroy humanity.

This turns Slendy into a sort of; anti-hero type character, to the point his workers are indirectly doing good by killing brainwashed Zalgoid minions

If you seen my post describing Zalgo and Slender's backstory, this will make more sense

but as humans, Slender was always the more cautious and goody-two-shoes of him and Zalgo while they were still considered human. Underneath his mystery and the fear he causes, Slender truly wants to do good by people though he was blinded by his power hunger and straight up hunger for a long while.

He can never tell his workers, however, not even his closest proxies due to his fear of losing them, deep down under he does care of them very distantly and in his moments of lucidity, he feels guilt for making them soliders in a war they never asked for

Slenderman; 100+ (??/??/????)- Slenderman has been alive for well over 100 years, same as Zalgo

Jeff the killer; 32 years old (20/09/1992)- in dwellers, his story takes place when he is 17 in 2009

Homicidal Liu- 30 years old (06/11/1994)- In Dwellers, Liu's story takes place in 2009 a month after Jeff's

Nina the Killer- 27 years old (07/03/1995)- Nina's story takes place when she is 14 years old, 6 months after Jeff's

Jane the Killer- 40 years old (17/10/1984)- Jane's story takes place in 2009 when she was 25, a week after Jeff's.

Eyeless Jack- 35 years old (25/02/1989)-Jack's story takes place in 2010 when he was 21, a year after Jeff's

Lucile "Lulu"- 15 years old bodily/27 years mentally (31/10/1995)-Was cursed by Zalgo with immorality at age 15 in 2010, same month that Jack was sacrificed

Sally Williams- 10 years old/mentality does not change like Lulu's. (25/12/1960)-Body is found by Slenderman in 2012

BEN drowned- 14 years old (10/10/1997)-BEN was killed by the cult leader in 2011 then found by Slenderman

Natalie "Clockwork" Ouellette- 28 years old (03/11/1996)- Story takes place in 2013 when she is 17

"Ticci" Toby Rogers- 28 years old (11/04/1996)- Story takes place when he is 17 years old in 2013

Tim "Masky" Wright- Assumed 30-40s (??/??/????)- Tim suffers from amnesia, he can't recollect a lot of information

Brian "Hoodie" Thomas- Assumed 30-40s (??/??/????)- he has not disclosed this information to the Slenderman yet

I mentioned a long time ago that Toby nearly gets killed by a Zalgoid minion and goes missing for a while but I never disclosed who that minion was but it was actually Scarecrow Girl, but wait there's more! Scarecrow's motives were different than Zalgos',his was to kill Slenderman's right hand man but Scarecrow, because of her past with love, was jealous of Clockwork and Toby's relationship and cruelly wanted to see it ruined for her own satisfaction.

Scarecrow is planned to be a very big antagonist in the TicciWork story within dwellers so I hope y'all are excited!

Some dwellers facts about our man, EJ

He's a great cook but he can't anything eat but human organs

He's the resident doctor, a lot of people from around the forest go to him if they're wounded

He used to be one of Zalgo's workers

If Jack can't help someone on his own/a health problem is too severe, he gets Nurse Ann to help

He's dating Nina

Him and Jeff used to be very close when they were the only two slashers

He is a very stoic person

He thinks BEN is super frigging annoying lol (poor BEN)

He is Demi-romantic

He's pretty good friends with Clockwork because when she first became a slasher, she was very reckless and got hurt, making her always need his help

Despite being friends with Clocky, he thinks Toby is incredibly annoying and hates being around him whenever Nina brings him around

He met Lulu through being a Zalgoid worker

Lulu and Jack have a very sibling like relationship and they tend to enjoy hanging out in quiet

He has punched BEN in the face before for picking on Lulu due to her shyness and struggle to stand up for herself

He has eaten a person whole before but hasn't been able to do it since

He used to eat organs raw until Nina started cooking them for him, in return he cooks human food for her

Nina and Lulu are the only people who can make him open about his troubles

Nina might've fallen first but Jack fell much harder, despite him being Zalgoid making him feel like he had no ability to love and be loved
