Saturday 9th of September, I keep going back to doing unilateral moves on the #coneline #PL5 from @coneline_training. Why? I feel like I get the best bang for the buck. 21st of july, (Friday last week) I decided I need to be better. So I was looking around for clues on how I can improve my understanding and knowledge of intertial/flywheel training. Seems a split deadlift and some rocker squats are the exercises/movements that I tried. A split deadlift can help protect your low back while still delivering an awesome exercise from improving physical capacities. Thanks to @bretcontreras1 and @justflysports for putting the information out there for me to find. Rocker squats can really burn your (VMO). Which means if I interpret correctly, you can very effectively isolate a muscle of choice. In this case the Vastus Medialis Oblique (front of thigh). Which have teardrop shape when well developed. 19th of july, Let me be honest, I am have been struggling to find a movement that satisfy my lust to work the pectorals. 17th of july, I quickly figured out that the rest needed between sets needed to be quite substantial. I am used to taking 1 minute rest before going again I was forced to rest 2 minutes or more before I could go again! I made this video trying to clearly show the difference between the 4 wheels. With faster wheels you can go for more reps before burning out. The heavier wheels I did 4 reps for each exercise and 2 circuits. The 0.1 wheel I did 1 set of 8 reps for each exercise plus the circuit shown in the video. The 0.05 wheel I did 12 reps for each exercise for the last circuit plus the circuit of reps as shown in the video. I was extremely exhausted after my last circuit. 11 de julio, Mientras intentamos muchos movimientos pero sólo grabamos 3 movimientos. Cuando @hellenhittrainer te obliga a hacer más deadlifts que de costumbre realmente se siente como que va a morir. Un conjunto de 12 deadlifts máximo en la el volante más pesado Coneline ofrece me sentí listo para un trasplante de glúteos. Hicimos 4 sets de deadlifts. Esto fue después de hacer sentadillas, luego terminamos con algunas prensas de empuje. Por desgracia nos olvidamos de registrar mi desafiando a la muerte por los deadlifts. 6th of july, Beyond doing my first 200kg deadlift i was doing some more unilateral work with the standard 0.2 wheel. I like doing unilateral work as I can increase neural input/drive to more specific body parts. Making me stronger. As an added bonus I feel that my core is more engaged than ever when using the @coneline_training machine. Inertial training, forcing the wheel to deccelerate is how you get stronger from flywheel training. This is how your work your eccentric strength for more gains and improvement. A true game changer! The curls are heavy throughout the whole range of motion. Switching between supinated and pronated grip is darn good if you ask me. Doing 6 sets of 4 reps for each arm should give sufficient stimuli to add some good gains to those arms. The upright row to press is more me experimenting with the machine capabilities. Nonetheless I like the movement as it feels more natural to do compared to lifting a dumbbell. Again the tension put on the core is a very nice bonus. Speaking of core, the lateral flexion is nice on the standard wheel, but for the best lateral flexions I recommend the fastest wheel, the 0.05 wheel. 22nd of August, Rowing squats? Still need to practice some more but this movement targets the whole body as tensions builds in arms, legs and core. Trying to synchronize legs and arms forces the core to stabilize which also works the core in a very satisfying way. I was even feeling great tension in my toes! 19th of july, I think I should dub this circuit the shoulder slayer. Because my shoulders were burning like crazy. Good in general for the upper body and core but absolutely excellent for the shoulders. I was using the heaviest wheel available here. This was a set of 5 repetitions for each exercise.
