I’ve been writing this for the past couple of days, wanted to have it ready for today. Happy Halloween! 🎃

“Take everything but the Delicious Deals, guys,” Eddie instructed. “My mom loves them.
Richie was rifling through Eddie’s kitchen cabinet, Bill and Richie had stopped by Eddie’s house before their trip to the barrens. They figured they should grab some snacks beforehand.
Eddie watches, leaning against the kitchen counter.
"Hey! First, you said the Barrens, now you’re saying the sewer.” He said. “I mean, what if we get caught?”
“We won’t, Eds,” Bill assured. “The sewers are p-p-public works. We’re the public aren’t we?”
“Hey, Eddie?” Richie stood at the other end of the kitchen, a cabinet full of pills open. “these your birth control pills?”
“Yeah, and I’m saving it for your sister. This is private stuff.” Eddie retorted.
The boys closed all the cabinets and exited the kitchen. The TV from the front room was playing softly, Mrs. Kaspbrak was seated in her living room, watching.
“Hello, and welcome to the Derry Children’s Hour.”
“Eddie Bear,” the boys stopped, looking at Mrs. Kaspbrak. “where you boys off to in such a rush?”
“Umm…” Bill spoke up, already feeling the effects of his stutter. “J-j-just my uh, backyard, Mrs. K. I g-got a new…”
“A new croquet set,” Richie jumped in. “Jeez, spit it out, Buh-Buh-Bill”
“Okay,” she eased, her eyes drilling into the boys. “Oh, and sweetie, don’t go rolling around on the grass. Especially if it’s just been cut. You know how bad you’re allergies can get.”
“Yes, mom. Let’s go.” Eddie mumbled, and he began herding his friends out of the door.
    “Aren’t you forgetting something?”
Eddie froze, and his friends hesitated. Shamefully, he turned and walked into the living room towards his mother who held out her cheek. Eddie planted a quick kiss and returned to the front door. He could see Richie and Bill stifling laughter.
“Do you want one from me too, Mrs. K?” Richie felt a harsh shove towards the door, and he chuckled. “I was kidding!”
The boys, now joined by Stan, zipped through the streets of Derry, wind in their hair. As they barrelled through the town, the Derry Public Library cropped up into view.
Inside, sat at one of the tables and thoughtfully scribbling on a postcard was Ben Hanscom. He had been mulling over the poem, trying to find the perfect words he could use that could possibly capture what he felt in his heart. Finally, when he had finished, he read the final draft in a hushed whisper.
“You’re hair is winter fire, January embers… My heart burns there too.”
His attention was brought to the windows when he heard muffled shouts outside.
    “Slow down!” Said one voice.
    “Hi-ho, Silver! Away!” Cried another.
He spotted four bikes cruising down the street, just in front of the library. The first voice cried out again.
“Your old lady bike’s too fast for us!”
The abrupt smack of the book as it hit the table echoed across the quiet library, his attention on the snippy librarian. Her glasses sat perched on the edge of her nose and she was staring judgmentally at Ben.
“Found it.” Her eyes squinted. “Isn’t it summer vacation? I would think you’d be ready to take a break from the books.”
Ben who was fiddled nervously with his fingers, shrugged. “I like it here.”
She blinked at his response and looked down at him distastefully. “A boy should be spending his summer outside with friends. Don’t you have any friends.”
Ben looked away, before speaking, avoiding all eye contact with the stingy woman.
“Can I have the book now?”
She gave the book a quick pat and left promptly. Ben breathed a sigh in relief and grabbed the History of Old Derry, opening it up.
He was constantly intrigued by his new town, and every time he could dig deeper into its history, he felt a little piece of the puzzle fall into place.
He flipped through the pages, eyes trained on the different pictures, scanning the captions but nothing, in particular, caught his eye. That is until he reached one photo in particular. It was a rather tall building, flooded with people of all ages, mostly children. What caught his eye was an old circus caravan.
It featured a picture of a clown. Some of it was cut off, but he could make out some of it. “Penny-” the rest was covered, and below it, he had gotten enough context to know it read “Dancing Clown.”
Below the picture, the caption read “Easter Egg Hunt celebration at the Derry Iron Work, April 3rd, 1908” Unbeknownst to Ben, a woman at the back of the library, turned to watch him. Eyes fixed completely on Ben, an eerie smile on her face.
Ben continued to flip through the book, fascinated. Another photo, this one of several kids, all holding their baskets of eggs. He turned the page, and featured on the next page was a photocopy of a newspaper, the Derry Herald. It read, “EASTER EXPLOSION KILLS 88 CHILDREN, 102 TOTAL”
He scanned the page briefly, his eyes lingering on the photo featured in the newspaper. Ben felt a chill run down his spine, still oblivious to the woman staring at him in the library. As he advanced further in the book, it only grew darker. Bodies were strewn all over the grass in the photo, captioned, “Bodies of those killed in Derry Iron Works Explosion, 1908”
Another page. This photo depicted a small crowd of people gathered around an old tree. “A gruesome discovery in the wake of the Derry Iron Works explosion, 1908”. Ben could not see the gruesome discovery he read about, and he was thankful. He turned the page again. Peculiar.
A slightly zoomed-in version of the previous photo. He turned the page. The same photo, only closer. Another page. Another photo of the branches. Frantically, Ben continued to flip through the pages, heart thumping. Sure enough, like a slow-motion animation, it closed in on the branches of the tree. Closer and closer and closer and-
A head. A boy’s head. An impossibly crystal clear photo of a boy’s severed head is caught in the branches. Ben felt his stomach lurch and he slammed the book shut, panting heavily. What the hell had he just seen?
His eyes trailed from the cover of A History of old Derry to a recent headline of the newspaper. “Body found by canal not Betty Ripsom” What the hell was wrong with this town? Ben stiffed when he heard a soft giggle, the slow tune of an old music box began to play. Slowly he turned.
Across the library, a bright red balloon was floating across the library, disappearing through a doorway. He rose to his feet and peered out the doorway, anxiety settling in his stomach. Perched on the steps was a smoking easter egg, charred and burned. For an unknown reason, Ben let his legs carry him down the hall, where he found another singed egg. And another. And another.
He now found himself in the library’s basement, where everything was stored in a maze of shelves. He picked up the egg, despite its charred exterior, it wasn’t hot. He could have sworn he heard shuffling down the hallway of shelves and he crept forward. Was the librarian down here, he wondered. She couldn’t be, the lights were off. Right on cue, the lights flickered on and off, a sickening pale green.
The lights flickered long enough for Ben to see a figure dart between the shelves. The room went dark once more and Ben beard a clatter from behind him. He turned around, and at the top of the stairs was the figure of a boy, maybe his age. It was hard to tell. Regardless, Ben watched cautiously as the figure took a few stiffened steps down the stairs one see step at a time. He froze, and Ben watched anxiously, his heart pounding. The figure took another step down, revealing to Ben that he had no head.
Smoke wafted from his neck and while he had no head, Ben knew somehow it was looking right at him. He had been holding several eggs to his chest, which he now dropped. The eggs hit the ground, splattering everywhere. The figure of the headless boy trudged down the stairs and froze briefly. And then it took off after Ben.
Ben sped down into the small maze of shelves, he could barely hear his own footsteps, let alone the footsteps of the figure over his pounding heart and heavy breathing. He cast a glance over his shoulder to see the figure running stiffly but swiftly after him. He made so many turns he lost count of where he was, much too frightened to paying attention to where he was going. He found that he couldn’t tear his eyes away from the figure chasing him, too afraid if he didn’t look he would sneak up and grab him. He looked forward just in time to turn the corner.
A taunting gravelly voice grabbed his attention, and he quickly glanced a final glance behind him to see a giant bulbous clown head on top of the boy’s once headless figure was right in front of him.
    “Egg boy!” It said.
He felt himself collide with a figure and he stumbled back frightened. The figure he crashed into let out a startled gasp and dropped several books. It was the librarian.
She looked Ben up and down sharply. “What on earth are you doing?”
Ben spared a frightful look down the hallway of shelves, relieved to find nothing there. Still panting, in fear or exhaustion or possibly both, he had no idea. He looked the librarian in the eye once more and fled up the stairs, grateful to be caught where he shouldn’t have been.
After gathering his things, and his composure, Ben exited the library. He trudged across the grass, passing the stone monument, unaware of the spiteful mulleted teenager that had been waiting for him.
    “Where you off to, tits?”
Ben took one look at Henry Bowers and fled. Unfortunately, he hadn’t made it far before one of his goons had been waiting for him and snatched him up.
    “Gotcha.”
The Bowers gang had dragged a fighting Ben Hanscom several blocks to Derry’s infamous Kissing Bridge.
    “Wait!”
    “Fucking hold him!”
    “Leave me alone!”
    “Smack him.”
    “Don’t let tubby get away.”
   "Help!“
Laughter erupted from the vicious group of boys. Patrick Hockstetter had a hold on Ben, one of them had pulled Ben’s shirt up over his head, disorienting him. A cackling Victor Criss slapped Ben’s stomach teasingly and each of them got a shot at kicking, poking and shoving, in ignoring the boy’s cries of protest.
Ben felt himself get pinned against the side of the bridge. "Just leave me alone.”
“Look at all this blubber!” Exclaimed Belch, who ripped his shirt back down.
Ben looked around in fear, struggling against his attackers. The rattling of a can came from Patrick, who eagerly shook the can of hairspray as he stood in front of Ben.
“Let me light his hair, like Michael Jackson,” he said eagerly, flicking open his lighter and created a small bellow of flames.
“Just hold him,” Growled Henry, pushing him out of the way and Ben roughly by the collar.
“Get off me! Get off me!” Ben stopped shouting when he heard the low rumble of a car.
Everyone else quieted as well, watching a car slowly cruised by, the window rolled down. The gang expected to be stopped, but the car kept going. The couple inside contributed nothing but a passing glance, and Ben cried out for help.
The only kind of response he received, was the abrupt and unexpected form of a bright red balloon popping up in the window of the back seat.
Henry landed a right hook in Ben’s jaw and another. Ben felt his sense getting knocked loose and he grew dizzy, his ears ringing. Henry grabbed him by the head, shaking it vigorously as he yelled in anger and madness. His hearing came back in time to hear Henry seething threats.
“Okay, new kid. This is what us locals call the Kissing Bridge. It’s famous for two things. Sucking face,” he held up his pocket knife and suddenly unsheathed it. “and carving names”
Nausea washed over Ben and winced, shaking his head desperately.
“Henry, please,” he pleaded, shaking his head no.
Ben roared in agony, searing pain erupted ok stomach as Henry forcefully carved a large H on his stomach. Patrick cackled madly and Victor said nothing. Belch was the only one who became uneasy.
    “Woah, woah! Henry!”
“Shut up!” He bellowed, spit flying from his mouth. “I’m gonna carve my whole name onto this cottage cheese!”
In one swift movement, Ben brought his leg up to Henry, kicking himself off and he tumbled over the side of the bridge. Grunting, he tumbled down the harsh slope, being poked and stabbed by various twigs but none of it came close to the pain of the mark Henry had left.
He could hear the angry cries of Henry, who was peering over the bridge. “I’m gonna cut your fucking tits off. I swear to God!”
He launched himself over the bridge and all his friends joined him. Ben jumped to his feet when he heard the rustling of the leaves up the hill he had just fallen. He turned on his heel, and sprinted into the trees, trying desperately to ignore the searing pain in his stomach every time he moved. Ben made several twists and turns through the trees, never allowing himself to stop.
Meanwhile, Henry and his friends had reached the end of the hill, and Henry began sifting through the dirt and leaves frantically. “My knife. My old man will kill me!”
Belch and Patrick watched, not knowing what to do. Henry looked at him expectantly.
“You two get him!” They fled into the woods after Ben and Henry turned to Victor. “Move your fucking ass!”
Ben could hear the approaching footsteps and voices behind him as he reached a fork in the path. He went down the left which lead him to the edge of the ferns at the edge of a creek. Patrick and Belch reached the same fork and they stopped. Patrick gestured for Belch to take the right while Patrick took the left.
Ben felt his socks dampen, as ran along the creek leaving the Bowers gang far behind him.

    “You holding up okay?”
Beverly had returned to the living room, now fully dressed in a maroon tank top and denim shorts, her usual key around her neck and her long red hair hung at the side of her shoulders in a ponytail. The two girls had scraped together as many ointments and bandages for Y/n’s leg.
Though they hadn’t had much luck. They couldn’t find a single thread of gauze and only half a foot of ace bandages. So Beverly did her best to clean the wound with a wet paper towel and applied some ointment. She found a spare white cotton cloth in the linen closet and wrapped it firmly around Y/n’s leg to stop the bleeding.
Once Y/n’s leg had been taken care of, they got to work cleaning the carpet as best as they could. Beverly took most of the trips back and forth to the kitchen given Y/n was still much too sore. When the carpet had been scrubbed within an inch of its life, the girls finally retreated to the couch and talked into the sun came up. They talked about anything and everything - aside from what Y/n had seen, still much too frightened to speak of it.
Beverly stood at the edge of Y/n’s living room, now fully dressed, looking at Y/n, trying to gauge her mood. She had not moved from her spot on the couch and she looked as if she was lost in thought, her eyes fixed on the barely visible pink stain on the carpet.
    “Y/n?”
Snapping out of her daze, she looked to Beverly, still in a bit of a daze. “Hm?”
“Are you alright to get dressed, or,” she trailed off, not wanting to offend her friend but still offering her assistance.
    “Oh, yeah, I’m good. Thanks,”
She pushed herself off the couch and limped lightly into the hall, passing Beverly and retreated into her room to get dressed. She winced at the pain that seared in her leg but she relaxed gradually. She was growing used to it.
Biting her lip and hissing slightly, she tried her best to step into her pair of overall shorts. She had almost gotten her leg in when she began to tip over. Thankfully she had landed on her bed, she used the advantage to slip easily in her shorts and sighed in relief, the hard part over.
Satisfied with her handiwork, Y/n grabbed her lowest pair of socks and shoes and joined Beverly back in the living room. Beverly had prepared breakfast for the two of them, a bowl of cereal for her and a [y/f/b] for Y/n.
Beverly smiled warmly, welcoming her back, but her eyes fell to Y/n’s ankle and she winced.
“We really need to get you some proper bandages,” She eased.
Y/n looked down at her leg to see the once white cloth was stained a deep crimson color and she sighed, looking back at Bev who offered a weak smile.
A yawn escaped her lips and Y/n felt a twinge of guilt for keeping her friend up all night. Beverly recognized the look on her face and she smiled.
“Don’t worry, Y/n it’s fine. Let’s just have our breakfast and then we’ll get you some proper supplies at the pharmacy. I was planning on making a trip there today anyway. You can come with me,”

Stan, Richie, Eddie, and Bill were treading the edge of the water, Bill in the lead towards the sewers. Stan was gesturing all around him, a sure frown on his face.
“That’s poison ivy. And that’s poison ivy. And that’s poison ivy.”
“Where?” Eddie looked around, watching his step. “Where’s the poison ivy?”
“Nowhere,” Richie remarked. “Not every fucking plant is poison ivy, Stanley.”
Bill and Richie stepped into the large cement mouth of the sewer tunnels, Eddie and Stan refusing to cross the threshold. Eddie was shifting on his feet, growing antsy.
“Okay, I’m starting to get itchy now, and - and I’m pretty sure this is not good for my–”
“Do you use the same bathroom as your mother?” Richie quipped, cutting Eddie off.
    “Sometimes, yeah.”
    “Then you probably have crabs.”
    “That’s so not funny.”
The flashlights crawled along the walls of the slimy sewer tunnel and Richie turned around to face his two hesitant friends.
    “Aren’t you guys coming in?”
Eddie took one look at the murky water and shook his firmly. “Uh-uh. It’s greywater.”
    “What the hell’s greywater?”
“It’s basically piss and shit. So I’m just telling you, you guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee. So…”
The stick Richie had been carrying was swirled around the water before he brought it up to his face. He took a big whiff and Eddie used all his strength not to gag.
“Are you series? What are you-?”
“Doesn’t smell like caca to me señor!” Richie retorted in an accent.
“Okay, I can smell that from here.”
Richie smiled a toothy grin. “It’s probably just your breath wafting back into your face.”
Eddie scoffed heavily, shaking his head in disbelief and he tried desperately to contain his frustration. “Have you ever heard of a staph infection?”
Amused as ever, Richie grinned, waving the stick towards his friend. “Oh, I’ll show you a staph infection.”
“This is so unsanitary. You’re literally-”
The continued to bicker further and Stan rolled his eyes, already fed up with them.
“This is literally like swimming inside of a toilet bowl right now,”
Still grinning, Richie picked something up from the water with his stick and waved it around.
“Have you ever heard of Listeria? AHH” Eddie screamed in terror and jumped back slightly when Richie launched the sopping wet piece of garbage at Eddie.
He snickered at the boy’s reaction, and Eddie launched into another lecture. Bill, who was the deepest in the tunnels, had found a shoe floating in the water.
    “Guys!”
The boys stopped bickering and looked to their friend. He was holding the shoe illuminating the dripping shoe with his flashlight.
Stan grew grave, and his voice broke as he spoke. “Shit. Don’t tell me that’s…”
    “No. G-Georgie wore galoshes.”
Richie had joined Bill’s side and he peered inside the shoe.
“Who’s sneaker is it?” Eddie asked.
Richie turned, and looked back at his friend, trying to hide his shock. “It’s Betty Ripsom’s,”
An uneasy and solemn silence fell over them. All sense of mischief and jokes forgotten. Eddie let out a shaky breath.
“Oh, shit. Oh, God. Oh, fuck!” Stan watched quietly, silently shutting down and Eddie was still trying to cope with the discovery. “I don’t like this.”
Richie, who always reverted to humor as his coping mechanism, did just that.
“How do you think Betty feels?” He stood on one foot and hopped a couple of times. “Running around these tunnels with only one frickin’ shoe?”
Richie stopped when he saw the serious and frightened faces on his friends and he knew he went too far. At that moment, Stan spoke up, his voice wavering.
    “What if she’s still here?”
V No one answered, but Bill and Richie retreated farther in the tunnels.
    “Eddie, come on!” Richie urged.
“My mom will have an aneurysm, okay, if she finds out that we’re playing down here. I’m serious.”
Bill hadn’t acknowledged what anyone had said, this attention still focused on the murky waters below.
    “Bill?”
He turned around a sad look in his eyes.
“If… If I was Betty Ripsom, I would want us to find me.” They all shifted uncomfortably. “G-Georgie too.”
Eddie, who couldn’t contain his discomfort, shakily spoke up.
“What if I don’t want to find them?”
Everyone looked to Eddie, shocked. Not surprised that he felt that way, but that he brought it up. Like some unspoken thought, they all had in the back of their minds.
“I mean, no offense, Bill, but I don’t want to end up like…” The name Georgie almost rolled off his tongue, and he shook his head feeling guilty. “I don’t want to go missing either.”
“He has a point,” Stan added.
    “Y-y-you too?”
“It’s summer. We’re supposed to be having fun. This isn’t fun. This is scary and disgusting.”
The four of them gasped when a figure collapsed outside in the water. Stan and Eddie whirled around to see a boy gasping for breath on his hands and knees. He attempted to get back up but he fell once more. It looked as if this was the first time in a long while he had stopped to catch his breath. It was Ben Hanscom, but they knew him as the new kid.
Richie peered out of the tunnel.
“Holy shit! What happened to you?”
×××
“I think it’s great we’re helping the new kid but we also need to think of our own safety.”
The five boys emerged from the forest, there bikes bouncing slowly on the grassy terrain before descending onto the pavement. Ben had been offered the backseat of Bill’s bike, and the rest trailed behind as they made their way to the pharmacy downtown. As usual, Eddie was informing the group of the possible dangers of their current situation.
“I mean, he’s bleeding all over and you guys know that there’s an AIDS epidemic happening right now as we speak, right? And my mom’s friend in New York City got it by touching a dirty pole on the subway. And a drop of AIDS blood got into his system through a hangnail. A hangnail!”
The gang was now halfway to the pharmacy and despite his rapid speech patterns, his rant had lasted the majority of the trip.
By the time they reached the alley outside the pharmacy, Eddie was wrapping up.
“…and you can amputate legs and arms. But how do you amputate a waist? How do you amputate a waist? You guys do know that alleys are known for dirty needles that have AIDS, right? You guys do know that?”
Like their knack for tuning out Richie’s trash mouth, the rest of them had a knack for tuning out Eddie’s medical rants.
They parked their bikes in the alley, and Ben took a seat on some wooden crates, leaning against the brick wall.
    “Ah, we’re screwed,” Mumbled Stan.
Bill and the others began retreating down the alleyway.
“Richie, stay wait here. Come on,”
Richie stood awkwardly with Ben, and he chuckled weakly.
“Glad I got to meet you before you died.”
Ben looked up at Richie, unimpressed with his joke and Richie shifted uneasily. And the unlikely duo waited in silence. Inside the pharmacy, Bill and Stan fell back, letting Eddie take the wheel. He grabbed nearly everything he could reach and in a few seconds, had a small pile packed against his chest.
Meanwhile, Stan and Bill had scoured their pockets for money, but all the two had managed to scrounge together was a measly three dollars.
“Can we afford all that?” Bill asked, referring to the small mountain of medical supplies Eddie was holding.
Stan held up the three dollar bills in his hands and shrugged. “It’s all we got.”
“You kidding me?” Eddie sighed, disappointed.
“Wait, you have an account here, don’t you?” Bill asked hopefully.
Eddie gave his friend an incredulous look.
“If my mom finds out I bought all this stuff, I’m spending the whole rest of the weekend in the hospital getting x-rayed.”
Two isles over Beverly stood facing the wall of feminine hygiene products. Y/n appeared from around the corner holding a small plastic bag of gauze and bandages that she had just paid for. She joined her friend’s side, noticing the indecisiveness in Bev and she quickly scanned the shelves. She finally found the familiar brand and grabbed a box off the shelf and handed it to Beverly. She took it and looked to Y/n.
“If you’re looking for comfort, this one’s your best best bet.” She whispered, smiling weakly.
Bev breathed a sigh of relief and sent her a grateful glance. Together, the two girls began treading towards the end of the aisle and around the corner. They both froze when they heard a familiar voice.
    “See you later, Dad.”
They caught a glimpse of Gretta at the opposite end, closing up her bag and the two girls quickly shuffled to the safety of the next aisle before Gretta could spot them. Except for Y/n, who moved in more of a quick hobble.
They rounded the corner and found themselves face to face with three familiar faces. Beverly instinctively shoved the box of tampons behind her back before they could notice it. And Y/n had realized why the boys were so familiar.
One of them, she realized, was completely fixated on her. The smaller boy who held several first aid supplies held to his chest and when he saw her, a roll of medical tape slipped from his hand. But his wide eyes never left her.
Everyone stood there awkwardly for a moment before Eddie broke the silence. He smiled nervously at her and shifted a bit on his feet.
“Hey, uh, hi! I remember you, how’s the le-gaaahh…” his words spilled into a messy gasp as his eyes landed on her ankle.
By now, the makeshift white bandage was stained completely red, and it looked as if no more blood could possibly be soaked up.
Eddie tried desperately not to gag, though it was very difficult for him.
Bill looked between both girls before his eyes fell on Y/n’s leg, but he tried not to stare.
    “Are y-you guys, okay?”
Beverly quickly responded, looking between Y/n and the boys, eager to divert attention away from the ox she held behind her.
“We just came to get supplies for her leg, that’s it. What’s wrong with you?”
“None of your business,” Stan snapped, sensing her abrasiveness.
“There’s a kid outside. Looked like someone killed him.”
During the whole conversation, Eddie had looked at Beverly maybe once. His attention focused on Y/n, and all his energy went towards not looking at her ankle.
“W-we need s-s-some supplies, but we don’t have enough money,” Bill said sadly.
Beverly frowned the familiar sinking feeling in her stomach. She didn’t want to, but she knew she had to. It was the only way she could think of distracting him and helping the boys. She looked anxiously at Mr. Keene and sighed. She gave one look at Y/n and lowered her voice.
“Go with them, or wait outside at least. I’ll be right out,”
Y/n recognized the look in her best friend and she quickly shook her head.
“Beverly, you don’t have to do this,” she whispered.
    “Just go, I’ll be fine.”
Beverly took off past the boys and headed to the counter.
“Bev,” she hissed, but she ignored her.
Instinctively, she tried to follow her friend but she hissed in pain when she put pressure on her leg.
The boys immediately noticed her pain and Bill took a few steps forward, ready to catch her if she fell.
She caught herself before that could happen and Eddie shifted on his feet nervously.
“Do you need help with your ankle? I know first aid and I could help you after I helped the new kid?”
    “Ew,” Y/n groaned, cringing.
Eddie tried to mask his hurt unsuccessfully, he looked down to his feet and his cheeks turned pink.
“A simple no would have sufficed, Jesus,” he mumbled.
“What? Oh,” she shook her head, “no, It’s Mr. Keene, ”
Y/n frowned, gesturing to Beverly at the counter.
Mr. Keene was looking Bev up and down, hungrily. The way he was smiling at her made her nauseous.
“Oh…” Eddie turned around to see what she was talking about, and Stan and Bill did too. “Oh.”
They watched Bev take off his glasses of her face, folding them up. While handing them back she “accidentally” knocked over the small shelf of cigarettes. Mr. Keene smiled weakly and bent over to pick them up.
“Come on, let’s go,” Y/n whispered quickly.
She was backing up, gesturing for the boys to follow her. But they were still staring at Beverly in shock.
“Now! Come on!” She hissed under her breath.
Beverly grabbed a pack of cigarettes that had landed on the counter, and Y/n realized the boys were never gonna figure it out in time.
“Oh for fuck’s sake,” rolling her eyes, she grabbed two of their wrists, her grocery bag hooked on one finger and began pulling them towards the door.
Beverly cast a glance over her shoulder, to see Y/n dragging the boys away.
The boys stumbled out of the aisle, tripping over themselves in the process. Y/n was dragging Eddie and Bill by their wrists and Stan had caught on. Eddie was taken aback, but he was mostly distracted by the fact that he was dropping his supplies left and right.
“Jesus, you’d think you never saw a distraction before in your lives,” Y/n sighed, releasing the boys.
Eddie scoffed, making a face implying he was going to say something but instead, he awkwardly looked away, words failing him.
“Alright, well…?” she looked between the three boys expectantly, they were all staring at her, waiting to see what she had to say.
She raised her eyebrows, not believing they had already forgotten about the injured kid.
“The kid? Bleeding out somewhere? We gonna help him or what?”
Shock washed over them and Eddie and Stan took off around the corner, and Y/n followed. Bill walked after them to the alley, seeming to linger by the entrance to the store to wait for Bev.
Y/n hobbled down the alley and by the time she got there Eddie was already knelt down in front of Ben. He was riling through his supplies, and Ben lifted his shirt.
Y/n noticed Richie Tozier had been waiting with the injured boy. Poor kid, she thought. When Richie saw her, he adjusted his glasses and smiled smugly.
    “Hey, toots!”
Y/n plastered on an obviously fake smile and tilted her head. “Hey, dick.”
Letting the name roll off his back he smiled, Richie clicked his tongue and winked. “That’s my name, don’t wear it out.”
Despite her annoyance, a small chuckle escaped her mouth and she rolled her eyes. She was now looking at the kid who sat on some crates, the small boy tending to his wound. She winced, and took a seat next to him, relieved to get off her bad ankle.
“So,” she said simply, drawing the boy’s attention. “Whatcha in for?”
He tilted his head, clearly confused. She extended her bad leg and pointed to it.
    “Bad leg,”
The boy’s eyes widened slightly and he looked back to her. “Some gnarly cuts. What about you?”
“Oh, uh, well same I guess.” He said, and she nodded.
"Just suck the wound.“ The two looked up to see Richie who addressed the smaller boy.
He immediately grew impatient, trying desperately not to get distracted.
"I really need to focus right now.”
    “You need to focus?”
“Yeah, can you go get me something?”
    “Jesus! What do you need?”
“Go get my bifocals. I hid ‘em in my second fanny pack.”
Y/n leaned forward, interested and slightly amused. “You have a second fanny pack?”
The other boy, who was standing near her nodded. “Yeah, why do you have two?”
“I need to focus right now and it’s a long story. I don’t want to get into it.”
Bill, who had been lingering at the end of the alley, heard the jingle of the store bell and he stepped back out on the sidewalk. Beverly was leaving the store and she walked towards him, knowing her friend must be nearby. Bill could have sworn timed slowed when she smiled. Nervously, Bill reached into his pocket, pulling out a couple of dollars and offered it to her.
    “T-t-thanks.”
She held up a pack of smokes and winked. “Even stephen.”
Her attention was drawn to the voices coming from the alley.
“Oh, God, he’s bleeding! Oh, my God!” It was Stanley.
She saw Y/n and the boys crowded around a familiar face, she smiled fondly and headed their way. “Ben from soch?”
“You have to suck the wound before you apply the Band-Aids. This is 101!”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Ben looked up from the bickering duo and at the figure walking down the alley. His pulse quickened ever so slightly at the beautiful sight of Beverly Marsh.
“Are you okay?” She asked worriedly as she approached them. “That looks like it hurts.”
Ben shifted nervously and smiled. “Oh. No, I’m good. I just fell.”
Richie scoffed. “Yeah, right into Henry Bowers.”
Bill panicked, and shushed the boy, much to Beverly’s confusion. Y/n grew curious too.
“Why? It’s the truth.” Richie defended.
Beverly took a step forward, smiling coyly at Ben. “You sure they got the right stuff to fix you up?”
She winked and Ben felt his heart might explode. He smiled bashfully and looked down at the ground.
At that moment, the smaller boy had finished tending to him and had moved over to face Y/n’s leg. She hadn’t been paying attention and was surprised when she felt a tug on the cloth and she hissed in pain, drawing everyone’s attention.
Eddie hesitated and looked up at her apologetically. “Oh, sorry. This is okay, right? That I do this? It’s just that right now you’re exposing yourself to hundreds and thousands of bacteria and infection and this really needs to be checked out, so unless you’re on your way to the hospital anytime time soon, I really think I-”
Y/n chuckled and nodded her head, cutting him off.
“Yes! Yes, it’s okay. I’d really appreciate it,” she smiled warmly, growing fond of this kid already. “I’m Y/n, by the way. Y/n L/n.”
He nodded his head and for a moment he forgot how to speak. “Uh, Y/- Eddie. Eddie. I’m, Eddie. Kaspbrak.”
Amused, she watched Eddie get to work. She heard him mutter something about how he should have grabbed latex gloves, and he gagged when he pulled the cloth off her leg. Everyone’s attention was pulled back to her and Eddie when he held the blood-soaked cloth far away from himself. Tossing it a few feet away from himself, they heard it land on the pavement with a sopping wet slap.
Everyone, save for Beverly and Y/n, were shocked to see her actual wound. And poor Eddie looked as if he would faint.
    “Oh, my God! Oh, my-”
    “Holy, fuck!”
    “S-s-shit,”
“That’s why we came here. All we could find was that cloth.”
“Oh my God, where’s the gauze?” He looked to Richie in a panic. “Where’s the fucking gauze?”
“Here take mine,” Y/n shoved her grocery bag at him and he took it gladly.
He unwrapped the gauze and applied several strips to her leg in order to cover each cut. She leaned down, placing her hand on some of them to keep them in place for him while he unwrapped the bandages.
“W-what happened anyway?” Bill looked between Y/n and Beverly.
Bev shrugged, and Y/n grew quiet, her eyes shifting around. “cat,”
Beverly frowned, clearly not buying it, knowing there wasn’t any cat around when I happened. Y/n met her eye, giving her. a look that screamed “Just please go with it,” And Bev let it go, for now.
“What kind of cat could’ve done that?” Asked the boy with curly hair.
Before Y/n could make up a lie, Richie jumped in, scoffing. “The bullshit kind, that’s what.”
Y/n gave him a weak glare, letting her eyes fix on her leg as it was being wrapped up.
    “Thank you, Eddie.”
“Sure thing.” He was just finishing up applying the special ace bandage tape from her bag. “You’re all set.”
She gave him a warm smile and stood, wincing less. She smiled at the feeling. “It feels better already. Thanks again.”
He nodded and stood to his feet.
“Well, I guess we better get going.” Y/n said looking at Bev, who nodded.
“Uh, t-thanks again, Beverly,” Bill said, referring to her distraction.
She smiled. “Sure. Maybe we’ll see you around.”
“Y-yeah, we were thinking about on-going to the q-q-quarry tomorrow,” he looked to Eddie briefly with a smirk, before returning his gaze to the two girls. “if you guys wanna come.”
“Good to know. Thanks.” She replied.
Y/n joined Beverly by her side, her bag of supplies she had retrieved in hand, and smiled. “Yeah, maybe we’ll see you guys there.”
Her eyes landed on Eddie and he stood to his feet, much too fast. A pink hue dusting his cheeks. Y/n shared a nod with Beverly and the two were off, both of them casting a glance and wave at the group of boys before disappearing around the corner.
Stanley turned quickly on Richie. “Nice going bringing up Bowers in front of Beverly.”
“Yeah, dude, you heard what she did.”
Ben, who had remained silent on the cartons, spoke up curiously. “What’d she do?”
Richie smirked. “More like 'Who’d she do?’ From what I hear, the list is longer than my wang.”
“That’s not saying much.” Stan retorted, rolling his eyes.
Bill jumped in, his stutter got stronger. “T-t-they’re j-just rumors.”
“Anyway,” Richie continued, addressing Ben. “Bill had her back in third grade. They kissed in the school play. The reviews said you can’t fake that sort of passion.”
Ben’s heart sank, not in the least bit intrigued. And his sudden somber went completely unnoticed by the bickering boys. And somehow, all of them failed to notice the new figure painted behind the tire in the mural of the Bradley gang behind them. It was the pale white face of a clown, with a big crooked smile, and large tufts of orange hair and beady yellow eyes, right where Y/n’s head had been. It had been watching all of them.

Eddie: Fear me, fool!
Richie: You should listen to him. I know for a fact that this one can bite off a mans hand with no hesitation. I've seen it happen, and let me tell you. It's terrifying knowing that this tiny raisin can easily kill a man.

Home Again//2019!Eddie Kaspbrak x Daughter!Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: Requested by @thoughtfullyyoungduck, I hope this was close to what you wanted.
Warnings: Verbal berating of the reader and a brief but graphic scene of violence against the reader
Prompt: Ever since your mom left when you were five it had just been you and your dad. You were each other’s only family. But when he brings you back to his hometown of Derry you decide it’s time to meet your grandmother.
The house your father grew up inside in Derry, Maine didn’t look like it had been touched much since the 1980s. Most of Derry still felt small and quiet like the rest of the world forgotten it. As you drove through town to your hotel yesterday your dad kept shaking his head and remarking on how everything still looked the same. You knew he’d be furious if he found out you came here but you couldn’t help yourself.
You had never met your grandparents before and your dad never talked about his childhood. Could he really expect you to pass up the opportunity to ask questions he never answered? This morning he said he had to go meet some of his old friends, the ones you had met last night at dinner, and he explicitly told you to stay in the hotel room. You rolled your eyes thinking about it. Your dad had always been overprotective. Maybe it was because he was just an anxious person? Always on you about being home before dark and getting your flue shot. Maybe it was because your mom left when you were five and it was just the two of you? You knew it was hard on him trying to take care of both of you all the time all by himself. Or maybe it was just because he worked nights so often and he worried about you being home alone? Either way it was always getting on your nerves. You’d long gotten use to sneaking out when your dad was gone, and sneaking out of the hotel was easy.
The old Kaspbrak house looked like most other houses on the street. It was small and white with a decent porch. The only real difference was that the lawn was shaggy and in desperate need of a mowing and the curtains were all drawn, keeping the light out of the house. If it wasn’t for the station wagon in the driveway you would have thought there was no one home. You took a deep breath before starting up the walk and climbing the stairs. You hesitated before bringing your hand down on the door in two quick knocks.Glancing behind your shoulder you took in the empty street. It was a Sunday morning but there was no one in the streets, no children playing or dad’s mowing the lawn.
“Who are you?”
You jumped and whirled back around, coming face to face with a much larger old woman. You couldn’t help but gasp at the sight. She wasn’t much taller than you, her hair was dark brown with grey roots showing, and there were prominent wrinkles around her eyes, the same shade of brown as yours and your dad’s. Sonia Kapbrak looked you up and down with distance, studying you closely. You cleared your throat and took a small step back.
“I’m, uh, are you Sonia Kaspbrak?”
“I am.” She crossed her arms in front of her.
“Well, my name is Y/N Kaspbrak. My father is Eddie Kaspbrak. I’m your granddaughter.”
You don't know what kind of reaction you were expecting, but Sonia staring you down through squinted eyes that hid in her full face and made them look black in appearance was not it. She stared at you hard, looking you over from head to toe as if sizing you up. It made you shift nervously from foot to foot in your spot. Was she like this when your dad was a kid? Your entire life your dad had always looked happy to see you when you came home from school or walked into the kitchen in the morning, he always smiled at you warmly. Even when he was mad at you, you never got a look like this one. But now you could picture him as a little kid getting in trouble and getting stared down on this same porch. What was she looking for?! You folded your arms across your middle and fought back a flinch when Sonia smiled at you.
"Oh, really? My Eddie Bear is a father?! I'd be surprised he never told me except he never calls me at all anymore. You raise them up as best you can, and then they run off and leave you, never to call, never showing any gratitude!" She threw her hands up in the air then shook her head. "Please, why don't you come inside?"
You opened your mouth to decline, suddenly not too sure about this whole thing but Sonia looked at you expectantly and the words died in your mouth. Wordlessly you stepped into the house and were surprised to find the darkness that had surrounded the house had moved inside as well. Sonia didn’t seem bothered by it though as she didn’t move to turn on any lights when she led you to the living room. The blinds were cracked in the living room, allowing dim rays of light to enter the room and work with the old boxed, bunny eared TV to shine enough light to make the room dim but light enough to see.
“Go on, have a seat.”
You sat down stiffly on the edge of the sofa, so far that you were almost falling off.
“Would you like a drink? I have sodas or bottled water? You can’t drink the stuff from the tap anymore. Too much lead and chemicals in it.”
“Oh, no I’m fine, thank you.”
Sonia nodded and sat down in her recliner next to the couch and smiled at you. A flash of red caught your eye. You glanced over at one of the windows and caught a glimpse of a red balloon floating by. You narrowed your eyes as you watched it go.
“So, Y/N, you’re my granddaughter?”
You turned back to Sonia and nodded, forcing a smile. “I have so many questions for you! My dad doesn’t talk about Derry very much.”
Sonia hummed, “Well I’m not surprised. Eddie bear hasn’t so much as called since he left me here. I suppose he’s done alright for himself though?” She looked at you strangely, sizing you up again. “Tell me, what’s your mother like?”
You swallowed hard, “I’m afraid I don’t know much.” You cleared your throat. “She left us when I was five. We haven’t kept in touch.”
You could practically see Sonia’s ears perk up. “Really?” She laughed humorlessly, “Well, I guess I can see why.”
Your jaw dropped. “Ex-, Excuse me?”
“Well obviously it couldn’t be my Eddie’s fault she left so it must have been your fault.”
“You don’t-”
“Of course I know dear!” she shook her head, “I knew when you stepped on my porch. Look at you? Your filthy just like your mother, holding my Eddie back, keeping him anchored with a child to take care of on his own? You should be ashamed.”
A cold dread filled your stomach and gripped your body. You had heard these words before, your own brain screamed them at you in your bed at night like a flashing sign. Somehow Sonia was on the same wavelength as you.
“Why are you saying these things?” You choked out, willing away your tears.
“Because it’s the truth isn’t it? All alone with a child to take care of, how could you do anything but hold your father back! Just think of all the things he could do if he wasn’t stuck taking care of you.” Sonia shook her head pityingly, “I suppose that’s what he gets for leaving me all alone here though. A disappointment of a daughter like you.”
You shook your head at her, “I think I should go now.”
“Oh, dear, you’re not going anywhere.”
You stared at Sonia, eye brows furrowed. Sonia smiled. You jumped up from the couch and raced for the door faster than you had ever moved in your life. You didn’t expect Sonia to be able to move fast enough to grab you but she did. She grabbed you by your hair and pulled you back into the room, tossing you to the floor. She smiled down at you, rows and rows of sharp, pointed teeth showing.
You screamed and ear splitting scream, crawling back on your hands until your back hit the wall. Sonia smiled wider and rushed towards you. Your foot connected with her face with a sickening crack as her head shot back. You watched in horror as she slowly righted her head and snapped it back into place. You screamed and screamed when Sonia crouched down in front of you, grabbing your hand as you tried to shove her away. She brought your hand closer to her mouth before-
“Y/N!”
You and Sonia’s eyes both flicked back to the front door that you could hear your name being screamed and the front door shaking as someone tried to knock it down. Sonia turned back to you and smiled through thin, yellow eyes that made you flinch. Her grin widened, showing off every one of her sharp teeth, and with a shake of her head she let go of your hand and stalked backwards from you before disappearing into the kitchen.
You stared at the spot where she had disappeared through in horror when the front door was kicked in and your father, Richie, and Mike all came running into the room, Beverly, Ben, and Bill trailing behind.
“Y/N?! Y/N, baby, oh my God!” Your dad rushed to your side and dropped to his knees in front of you. He grabbed your face in his hands and pulled your gaze from the kitchen door to look at him. “Y/N? Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!”
You continued to stare at him, shock and horror still playing on your face as he ran his hands from your face to your wrist, checking for broken bones. He looked so worried as he checked you over that Sonia’s words rang through your head again. “Just think of all the things he could do if he wasn’t stuck taking care of you?”
A sob escaped your throat, “Dad?”
He paused and looked from your wrist where Sonia had squeezed up to your face. He saw your bottom lip tremble and felt his racing heart break. “Oh, baby.” He pulled you to him and hugged you tight. As soon as he did this you began to cry against his shoulder, clutching his jacket in your fist. “It can’t hurt you anymore Y/N. I’m right here, I’m not going to let it hurt you again.” He squeezed you tighter and kissed your forehead.
“Dad, she-, it-, it’s teeth...”
Eddie swallowed back the memory of those teeth inching in on his at the Nesboit house. He realized you had been in that same position and felt sick. He pulled back to look you in the eyes and nodded.
“I know. I’m sorry Y/N, I never should have brought you back here with me.”
“It’s gone Eddie, we better get her out of here.” Richie spoke softly, placing his hand on Eddie’s shoulder and squeezed reassuringly.
Eddie looked up at him and nodded. Carefully he helped you to your feet and led you out of the house, his arm wrapped around your shoulder protectively.

Lost Love// Stanley Uris x Reader
Request: If you are still doing Requests i was wondering if you could do a angsty Stanley Uris x Reader, Maybe something that involves the Reader and Stan being friends back in 1989 and always having secret feelings for each other but never telling one another and then the reader learns about Stan's death. Sorry if the request was to long or to specific! - Anon
1989
It has been a week since Neibolt and you were currently sitting on Stan’s couch watching some movie on tv. You had grown closer to Stan and well to all the losers that summer. Trauma is a real connection to other people, you thought. Stan invited you, Bill, Mike and Richie over. The others were still on “house arrest” after what happened.
You all were different now, even Richie, who usually talked during every movie you all watched together was now sitting quietly. You on the other hand weren’t even paying attention to the movie, you constantly looked over at Stan.
You had developed feelings for him and you quietly loved him from afar. He had always been so kind and gentle with you, walking you home from school, comforting you even though he was more broken than you, he even invited you to bird watch with him.
“Y/n? Is everything okay?” You were pulled from your trance and you found Stan looking back at you, shit you had been caught.
“Oh y-yeah, sorry I wasn’t paying attention to where I was looking,” you looked down at your hands and felt your cheeks heat and heard Richie scoff next to you. You glared at him and he shrugged innocently.
“Oh I promised my dad I’d come home by 7, so I have to head out but I’ll see you guys later!” You walk towards the door, smile at Stan and head out.
***
Later on, it was just Richie and Stan because the others had to go home too. They were used to this though, they spent a lot of nights hanging out together.
“You’re never going to tell her, are you?” Richie sighed.
“Tell who what?”
“You’re hopeless! It’s obvious you like Y/n to everyone except her!!” Stan blushed and Richie just rolled his eyes.
“I do like her but she doesn’t like me that way… we’re just friends,” Richie was about to either slap him or pull his own hair out but instead he huffed and walked out the door, calling out,
“You’re an idiot Stanley Uris!! She likes you too!!”
***
You two hung out almost everyday and neither of you noticed the looks from one another. You had fallen so deep, you started drawing him on your notes. You wanted to know how it felt to run your hands through his curls or how fast his heartbeat was if you laid against his chest.
Stan looked at you like you had hung the moon and the stars, wishing he could hold you tight and never let go. He started seeing you in the birds he watched because of how free they were and how beautiful their colors flashed against the sun. He wanted to be brave and tell you how he felt and how beautiful you were and how he would love you until the end of time.
Neither of you did because you weren’t looking at the right time and you thought to yourself; maybe there will never be a right time.
****
2016
You never thought you’d be back in Derry after you moved out just after senior year. You barely wrap your mind around growing up here less than an hour ago but now everything was clear. Your friends, Stanley the one who got away, and the dreaded clown you were here to finish off.
You joined into the conversation walking into the Jade of the Orient, everyone seemed happy to be together again. It felt like that fall after Neibolt where you all hung out together every day, but something was wrong.
“Hey where’s Stanley? He’s coming right?” You asked the others and they shook their heads, except Mike who looked at you with sad eyes,
“Y/n um, his wife called me back…. he committed suicide..”
The world was spinning and you couldn’t breathe, tears welled up in your eyes and you didn’t have the willpower to stop them from flowing over. You didn’t move but you sensed everyone’s eyes on you.
“I’m so sorry Y/n,” Mike’s gentle voice filled your ears. You stood up and walked outside into fresh air and you collapsed into yourself, sobbing into your knees. There would be no right time, not for you and him. You heard someone crouch in front of you,
“Hey Y/n, come here,” it was Eddie, you lived next door to him and he’d come over pretty much every week because his mother would drive him out with her antics. He has his arms open for you and you quickly accepted, sobbing into his sweatshirt.
“We’re all gonna miss him, Richie’s an absolute mess in there but you… you loved him huh?” You wipe your tears and nod.
“I was so afraid to tell him because I didn’t wanna lose him.”
“He loved you too yknow, he talked about you constantly but he was afraid of losing you too.” You think back to the memories you have of him; he made sure you were never cold, he held your hand if you were scared, he’d come over at 2 am to talk because you had nightmares. He loved you.
“Do- do you think he knows?” You prayed he did, you needed him to know how much you loved him.
“I’m sure he does.” Your Stanley, who never thought he was ever brave enough had loved you silently. He did it without you knowing so it wouldn’t hurt if he was rejected. You never fell in love again after him, no one seemed to compare to someone you didn’t even remember. He did, he was happy and you were happy for him.
You were two lovers who never met at the right time, but his memory would carry you through everything.

I'll be there for you (IT Imagine)
Teen!Eddie x Reader
Y/n buries her head in her hands and lets out a sigh. She hates being sick. It's just annoying. She always gets angry easily. This time it sucks for two reasons, one being in a terrible mood and the other that she had actually planned to meet with Eddie later. Well, that's not gonna happen. Not when she feels like shit and her head hurts.
With a sigh Y/n grabs the telephone to call her friend and tell him that she can't meet him. Awesome. What an amazing start to a day. She might be spending too much time with Stan and Eddie, she thinks while dialing. Their complaining seems to have influenced her positive view on things. But maybe her being sarcastic is just because of the cold she has.
"Hi, Y/n!," Eddie's voice greets her through the telephone. "How are you? I'm so excited for later!"
Y/n sighs. He sounds so happy... "I'm sorry, Eddie. I can't come. I've caught a cold."
Eddie is silent for a moment. Just when she is about to ask if he's still there he starts talking again, quickly this time. Her head hurts from trying to understand him.
"Are you okay? You're sure it's just a cold? It could be something way worse. Is your nose bleeding? Are you in pain? Do you need medicine? I have loads of stuff! If you start getting a nosebleed I-"
"Eddie!," Y/n stops him, holding her head. "I'm okay. It's just that my nose is running and my throat hurts. Also I've got a headache, so would you please talk slowly? I can't understand you when you speak so fast."
Eddie on the other side of the line takes a deep breath. "Stay at home. I'm coming over."
Y/n gasps in surprise. Before she can answer he has hung up.
With a sigh she falls back onto the couch. She can't believe that Eddie is actually coming over. He's so afraid of germs! Why would he come here if he knows that she is sick?
The doorbell interrupts her thoughts. Slowly Y/n sits up and makes her way to the door to let Eddie in. "Hey.," she says, smiling at him. He smiles back, looking her over critically.
"You should sit down. Here, let me help you!" He guides her back to the couch before she can complain that she can walk on her own.
"I'm not that sick, Eds! I feel like shit but I can at least walk without needing your help!," Y/n mumbles as she lies down on the couch. Eddie just shakes his head and carefully pulls blankets over her so she's comfortable.
"You're sick. Let me take care of you, okay?"
With a sigh she nods, knowing that arguing with him right now would only drain her energy and that's not worth it. A moment later she realizes that he hasn't complained when she called him "Eds" like he normally does. It makes her smile.
Eddie appears next to Y/n with pills and other medicine in his arms. "That's all I could find. Your parents have so less meds here... You're lucky I brought some of my own with me. Please tell them to buy more medicine. You'll maybe really need it some day!"
Y/n smiles at his serious concern. He's cute when he's worried...
"I have painkillers, cough drops, something to help you if you feel like you need to vomit,..." He looks through the medicine in his hands. Y/n puts her hand on his arm to calm him down.
"I could use a painkiller against my headache and maybe tissues. That's actually all I need right now. But," she continues before he can disagree, "you can leave the rest here. Maybe I'll need it later."
Eddie smiles. He puts the medicine on the table and runs to get her a glass of water for the painkiller. Y/n takes it and swallows the medicine.
"Thanks, Eds."
Her friend wrinkles his nose a little but doesn't complain about the nickname. Instead he hands her a box with tissues.
"Eddie, you're my hero!," Y/n tells him with a thankful smile. She puts the box down on the table and sighs. "Well... What do you want to do?"
Eddie shrugs, sitting down on the couch beside her. "I don't know. Any ideas? Anything you want to do?"
Y/n tilts her head. She isn't sure what things there are that you can do inside. Especially with Eddie.
"Maybe we can watch TV?"
Eddie shrugs again. "It's your house. If you want to we can watch TV."
She smiles. "Could you please turn it on, then?"
An enthusiastic nod is the answer she receives. A few seconds later the TV is running. There's a sports show on. She wrinkles her nose.
"Do you wanna watch that?," Eddie asks. Y/n shakes her head. He changes the channel. News. Awesome.
"Is there a movie on or something?," she asks. She just needs something entertaining to distract her for a while. To make her forget how she feels. To be able to daze off.
Eddie finds a channel with a movie on and sits down beside her on the couch. It's a romance movie. Huh.
"I didn't think you'd like romances. Are you sure you want to watch that?"
He just turns around and smiles at her. "If you like it we'll watch it. Also I actually like romance movies."
Y/n smiles back. She really doesn't deserve this adorable boy as a friend.
Later that day when the light outside slowly fades they sit on the couch, cuddled up in each other's arms. It surprises Y/n that Eddie doesn't seem to mind at all. His arms are wrapped around her waist. The movie is slowly coming to an end. She nudges her friend carefully.
"Hey. Are you sure you don't mind being so close to me when I'm sick?," she asks, not sure if she wants to hear the answer to that question.
Eddie just shakes his head. "I would care if it was someone else. You are okay."
The words make her feel all giddy and happy so she just hugs him tightly. Eddie hugs back, his hands running up and down her back.
"Thank you.," Y/n whispers. She doesn't know if he is aware of how much this means to her. Him even being here and not caring that he might get sick as well.
She lets go of him, ruffling through his hair with a playful grin. He gasps, trying to push her hands away.
"Stop! You're ruining it!"
It makes her laugh. Eddie just pouts at her, crossing his arms in front of his chest.
"You're evil!"
Y/n just smiles. It doesn't take long until his face softens. But then his hands suddenly attack her head to ruin her hair and she has to laugh while trying to push him off of her. She succeeds by shoving him off of the couch. Eddie lands on the floor and looks up at her, dumbfounded. Y/n has to laugh harder, her body shaking.
Suddenly she stops, holding her head in her hands and letting out a pained sound. "Damn it."
Eddie jumps up, hovering over her. "Is everything okay? Do you need anything?" He sounds so worried and seriously concerned for her... Y/n sighs.
"My head just hurts again. Just give me a minute and I'll be fine."
Eddie shakes his head and hands her another painkiller and the glass from earlier. It's just enough water left to take another pill. She takes it thankfully and swallows the pill.
"Thanks, Eds.," she sighs and lies back down.
He smiles, pulling the covers back over her body. "You should rest. Sleep, Y/n. It'll be better tomorrow."
She looks up at him with tired eyes and nods. "Will you stay here?"
Eddie sighs. He tilts his head as if thinking about it.
"You don't have to, of course.," she ads, not wanting to pressure him into anything. His mother will probably kill him for staying at her house for so long, anyway.
Eddie suddenly straightens, a grin on his lips. "Sure. Mom's gotta learn that I don't always play by her rules."
She stares at him, not believing what he has just said. "Are you sure? She'll be furious! Since when are you so rebellious?"
Her friend shrugs, sitting down on the couch. There's still that grin on his lips that looks so unlike Eddie that it's weird.
"I'm old enough to decide for myself, you know? If she doesn't accept that, well... Didn't your parents say I could live here?"
Y/n giggles a little although she understands the real message behind his words.
"You can always come here when it gets bad.," she promises, squeezing his hand lightly. Eddie smiles at her, squeezing back.
"Now sleep. You need it."
Y/n nods, closing her eyes. She falls asleep holding his hand, feeling safe and just home. She wakes up the next morning with him still beside her, their fingers intertwined.

Panic
Pairing - Eddie Kaspbrak x reader
Word Count - 3,773
A/N - this request will be a lot like my In-Between series (go check it out if you haven’t already!) in the way that the reader moved to Derry and met the Losers and the Party is now in Derry trying time stop the Upside Down and Pennywise. there will be a few similar things to that story, but this will have it’s own storyline with a totally different character so I hope you all enjoy! I love Eddie so much and would love to write more for him in the future so if anyone ever has a request, go ahead and send it in!
Request - Eddie x reader where while the Losers Club and the party is fighting about who the reader likes more as friends after they save Mike, a demogorgon's claw grabs the reader's ankle, cutting it and drags her back into the portal to the upside down and Eddie tries to grab her hand, but she is yanked back into the upside down and the portal shuts fast, leaving the two groups shocked and guilty about arguing that they didn't notice the claw coming through the portal. same thing with them rescuing the reader and they think that she died when they get out with her. then the reader wakes up and everyone gives her a big hug. and Eddie does the CPR and kiss like what Bill did @artlovingbre

Panic. That was all Y/N could feel as she ran through the decaying world, Eddie Kapsbrak's hand in hers as he huffed and puffed by her side. Sheer and utter panic.
"Come on!" Mike Wheeler yelled back at the group of kids, the Party and the Losers Club both picking up speed at those words. Growls behind them only made them run faster and Y/N's breath hitched in her throat at the sight of ten or more demogorgons running after them.
"Shit," she muttered as she yanked Eddie forward. "Come on, Eddie! We need to go!"
"I'm running as fast as I can!" Eddie cried out as the two ran at the rear of the group.
The familiar Neibolt house that held the portal to get back to their own world finally came into view and Y/N couldn't help but sigh in relief as her and the others all dashed towards the door. It didn't take long for them to get down to the basement and Eddie lunged through the portal, pulling Y/N along with him until the two landed on the floor of their world, the Upside Down now far behind them.
It was in that moment when Eleven was trying to close the portal and the relief of finally being safe had hit her that Y/N's leg suddenly flared up in pain. "Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit," Y/N muttered as she looked down at her leg that had a huge gash down the back of it, something she must've not noticed when the adrenaline was still coursing through her body.
"Fuck," Eddie whispered as his eyes caught sight of Y/N's leg. "Uh, guys! We kind of need help over here!"
Everyone's eyes flickered over to the girl and Y/N quickly waved them off, "I'm fine. Check on Mike. He's the one that's been trapped in the Upside Down for forty eight hours."
"No, I'm fine," Mike insisted. "You are clearly not fine."
"And whose fault is that?" Wheeler muttered under his breath causing Y/N to roll her eyes and put her face into her hands, already knowing what was about to happen.
"Woah. Woah. Woah. What's that supposed to mean?" Mike asked, his eyebrows raised as he looked over at the boy who looked identical to his best friend.
"I mean if we didn't have to come save your ass because you got a little too curious about things you don't understand then she wouldn't be hurt now would she?" Wheeler asked.
"This isn't Mike's fault," Beverly insisted as she went over to her friend and put a hand on his shoulder.
"If anything it's yours because you guys didn't bother making sure the gate was actually closed," Richie shrugged.
"Don't put the blame on us, asshole!" Lucas exclaimed as he walked closer to Richie.
"Guys," Eddie sighed as he pulled himself up onto his feet. "We've got bigger things to worry about." He then gestured towards Y/N, his face pale as he looked at her in concern, but no one bothered looking their way.
"Guys, let's not start this back up, okay?" Steve told them as he gently pushed Lucas and Richie away from each other.
"Don't fucking touch me!" Richie exclaimed as he shoved Steve away. "Besides, we already know who would win."
"Us," Dustin muttered as if it were obvious.
Richie laughed out loud at that. "Yeah, okay, Curly Fry. We would be the ones that win. Even Y/N would agree," Richie told them.
"Yeah, right. Y/N would agree with us. She likes us more anyways," Wheeler argued.
"Cause that's why she left you guys, right? Because she likes you all so much," Richie mocked.
"Guys," Eleven muttered, barely being able to pay attention to the gate because of all of the arguing.
"Better watch your mouth, Trashmouth, before you say something you regret," Wheeler practically growled.
Richie let out a laugh before muttering, "Fuck you."
Wheeler smiled at that and it wasn't a genuine smile but one of his pissed off ones. Before any of them knew what was happening, Wheeler went to lunge at Richie and this sent the whole group into a frenzy.
Eleven's eyes widened and she turned her attention away from the gate to yell at her boyfriend while the others all hurried to pull the two boys away from each other while they shouted insults at the other group.
Y/N shook her head, tears filling her eyes at the sight of all of her friends frighting. She tried to move to stop them, but she fell down to the ground with a hiss, her whole leg throbbing from the intense pain.
"Guys!" Eddie yelled as he moved towards the groups and away from Y/N, not noticing the small shadow that had seemed to grow by the portal or the small claw that had begun to peak out.
Y/N bit her lip to hold back a scream of pain as she pushed herself up onto her feet. She knew she would have to be the one to break it up, but the moment she went to take a step forward, she went falling to the ground with a loud thud that had everyone turning to look at her, their eyes widening at the sight of a clawed hand gripping onto their friend's ankle.
Before any of them knew what was happening, Y/N was suddenly being dragged across the floor. A scream escaped her lips as she clawed at the floor yelling, "Help!"
The others quickly burst into action and Eddie was the first to reach the girl. "Eddie!" Y/N cried out as she desperately tried to reach for him. Eddie could feel a bubble of panic rising in his chest but he pushed it aside as he shot his arm forward, his hand grabbing onto hers only for it to slip from his hold as she was suddenly pulled back with so much force that her whole body went flying back into the portal which had finally finished closing as soon as she was through.
Eddie slipped and landed face first on the ground, but he didn't bother trying to get up. His whole body was shaking as he weakly lifted his head, his eyes locked on the portal in front of him that Y/N had just been pulled back through.
Eddie didn't know what to think as he sat there, the silence in the room being enough to make his ears ring while everyone stood there in shock. It wasn't until a whimper filled the air that they all blinked away their shock, tears filling their eyes and looks of guilt crossing their faces as they looked to the boy on the floor who had been the one to let out the whimper.
"She's. . ." Eddie couldn't even finish his sentence before a sob escaped his lips, his whole body shaking violently from the force as the realization that the girl he had a crush on had just been taken by a demogorgon into the one place he knew she feared the most hit him.
Eddie managed to pull himself up onto his knees before he looked down at his hands, the same hands which had had a hold on the girl but had let her slip away. His cries grew a little louder at that and he found himself putting his face into his hands while he cried out, his whole body aching from a pain that started in his chest right where his heart was.
It took a minute, but the boy eventually felt a hand on his shoulder and Eddie weakly turned to see Richie kneeling beside him with tears of his own streaming down his face.
"She's gone, Rich," Eddie croaked out. "She's gone."
In a very unRichie like action, Richie reached out and let his arms wrap around the boy, Eddie sobbing slightly as he turned and hugged onto his best friend like he was his only lifeline at the moment.
The group all watched silently as Richie hugged the boy a little tighter before they hung their heads as they realized Y/N truly was gone.
"She's not gone, Eddie," Richie whispered as he comforted the boy causing everyone to look to him, including Eddie. "We're going to get her back, okay? We're going to save her."
Eddie stared silently at Richie before nodding his head. "She's not gone," he whispered in agreement before he turned to the group, giving them all pointed looks that told them that they were going to help him fix this.
"We're going to get her back."
- - -
To everyone's surprise, Eddie was the first one to enter the portal once they had all the things they needed to go save Y/N. He didn't even flinch as the decay and goo touched him, only took in a deep breath before continuing into the Upside Down while the others just watched him in silence.
Then again, they really shouldn't have been surprised. This was Y/N they were talking about and the feelings the boy had for her were obvious.
Eleven was by Eddie's side in no time and she gave the boy a small nod before pointing in the direction she felt they needed to go. "This way," she whispered before Eddie nodded, the two then leading the group further into the Upside Down until they came upon what had to be the Upside Down version of Y/N's house.
"She's in there," Eleven whispered, her face pale. "I can feel it."
Eddie nodded and took a hit off of his inhaler before looking to the house and beginning to walk in, the others all following behind. He was doing this for Y/N, Eddie kept reminding himself. Everything he did was for Y/N.
Swallowing his fear and panic, the boy pushed the front door of the house open before slowly walking inside. Steve clicked on his flashlight and went to stand by the boy as they slowly began to look around.
"Let's split up and look around. Holler if you find anything and be careful," Steve told the kids. They all nodded before splitting up, Eddie and Richie going with Steve while the others broke up into groups of three as well.
The trio decided to take the upstairs and Eddie followed behind Steve who began to make his way into what Eddie knew to be the guest room. Eddie watched Steve go for a moment before turning his head and looking towards Y/N's room, a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach suddenly washing over him.
Eddie didn't tell the two that he was leaving and just walked over to Y/N's room. It felt like he was being tugged by an invisible string, his body preforming actions before his brain could even think of them. But as soon as Eddie pushed the door open, he knew why he had been walking towards the door.
"Y/N?" Eddie cried out, his face going pale as he stared at the dead looking girl who was held up against the wall by decay. She seemed to have something covering her mouth and Eddie felt like he was going to puke.
Pushing past his nausea, the boy yelled, "I found her!" It didn't take long for him to hear the scrambling of footsteps before everyone was filing into the room behind him.
"What the fuck?" Richie cried as he looked at his friend with wide eyes.
"Holy shit," Dustin breathed out.
Everyone was looking at Y/N in disbelief and disgust while Will just looked as white as a sheet of paper. Will was the one to snap them out of their thoughts as he whispered, "We need to help her."
He knew what was happening and if they didn't get that thing out of her quick, there would be no Y/N to save.
Everyone glanced at him and Will just looked at them with wide eyes. "Fucking move!" Will yelled instantly making the group jump at his sudden outburst before they rushed over to the girl.
It took all hands on deck for them to pull away the decay that was holding her back. Finally they were left with whatever it was that was attached to her mouth and Eddie grimaced before slowly going to grab it. A hand gently pushed his away before Steve was whistling, "It's okay, kid. I got it."
Eddie gave Steve a thankful look before watching as the older boy grabbed ahold of the thing in Y/N's mouth. He began to pull and Eddie resisted the urge to gag as he watched Steve pull whatever worm thing it was out of Y/N's mouth.
"F-F-Fuck," Bill muttered in disgust while him and Mike held the girl up in place so that Steve could finish getting the thing out of her.
It took a moment longer and Eddie felt as if he were going to pass out when he saw just how long that worm thing was. Finally, Steve gave one more yank before the thing finally came out. Steve tossed it aside almost instantly and Eleven was quick to use her powers to toss the thing out the window of the room.
They then turned to Y/N who was limp in Bill and Mike's arms. "Is she-?" Max whispered, but Steve quickly shook his head as he felt for a pulse.
"She's still breathing, but we need to get her out of here," Steve told them.
The group all nodded in agreement before Eddie went over to help Mike and Bill carry the girl. "Let's go," Eddie told the group before they all began to move out.
They had barely made it out the front door before a sound similar to howling filled the air. "Shit," Stan muttered as he glanced at Ben and Beverly who stood beside him.
"We need to move! Like now!" Wheeler exclaimed before everyone broke out into a run, Eleven making sure to stay behind the group seeing as she could use her powers to keep the demogorgons back.
Eddie was met with the same feeling of panic he had felt the last time they ran through the Upside Down, only this time Y/N was unconscious by his side instead of running alongside him.
It took a while but they eventually reached the house and all began to pile inside while Eleven let out a scream and used her powers to throw all of the demogorgons back. Wheeler was quick to grab her arm and the two brought up the rear of the group as they ran to the basement and through the portal that was in the Neibolt House.
As soon as the last person had gotten through, Eleven turned to the portal and begin to use her powers to close it. "You got this, El!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Come on!" Ben yelled.
Yells of encouragement from both groups were thrown towards El who let out a scream before finally forcing the portal closed. Everyone let out sighs of relief, but it was short lived by Eddie who let out a scream.
The group was quick to turn to the boy with wide eyes, their eyes landing on where he sat on the floor with Y/N in his arms. "She's not. . .She's not breathing!" Eddie squeaked out, sheer panic washing over his body as he looked down at the girl and began to shake her.
"Y/N?" Eddie cried out as he shook her. "Come on. Wake up!"
Tears were filling his eyes and a few had even started to fall as he began to breath heavily, his airways starting to close up as panic course through his body.
"Fuck! I don't know. . .I don't know what to do. Fuck!" Eddie yelled out as he laid the girl on the ground before putting his hands to her chest and beginning to preform CPR. The group all watched with tears in their eyes as Eddie tried to revive the girl, his mouth connecting with hers as he breathed air into her lungs before he pulled away and continued the rest of the procedure.
He was hyperventilating at this point, his asthma getting so bad that the lack of air was making the world spin around him. But Eddie didn't care. He didn't even bother reaching for his inhaler because Y/N was more important at the moment.
"Eddie," Richie sighed as he began to move towards the boy, knowing that the others wouldn't be able to stop him and that Eddie wouldn't give up even if there was nothing else he could do.
"I can't lose her, Richie. I can't lose her!" Eddie cried out as he continued the CPR, his wheezing only getting worse as his face grew red.
"Eddie, you need your fucking inhaler, man," Richie said as he went to grab the boy and pull him away, but Eddie slapped him away with tears streaming down her face.
"She needs help! Y/N. . .needs help!" Eddie puffed out, his movements getting slower due to the lack of oxygen he was getting.
Richie, finally having enough, grabbed ahold of the boy and began to pull him away, ignoring the shouts of protests that were coming from Eddie as the boy thrashed around in his hold.
"Let. . .me. . .go, Richie! Fucking. . .let me. . .go!" Eddie huffed before Richie was suddenly pinning him to the ground. Beverly appeared by his side in an instant and quickly got the boy's inhaler before holding it up to Eddie's mouth.
The young boy reluctantly took the medicine, letting out a small sigh of relief as the fire that seemed to be burning in his lungs lessened. It took a moment of him just taking some deep breaths before Eddie was able to open his eyes again, his asthma now under control.
It was only then that Richie let the boy sit back up and Eddie slowly moved into a sitting position before letting his eyes flicker over to Y/N who was now lying lifelessly in Eleven and Will's arms.
Eddie's eyes locked with theirs and Will was quick to look back down as he just hugged his friend close to his body. Eleven just gave Eddie a sad look and the boy couldn't help but let out a small sob at that, his body leaning back against Richie and Beverly who were quick to hug the boy in comfort.
Eddie let his eyes fall shut as he let out heartbroken cries. His cries were the only thing that could've heard beside the sniffling coming from the others.
That was until a gasp filled the air followed by the sound of someone having a coughing fit.
Eddie froze before slowly allowing his eyes to flicker up, a feeling of euphoria washing through his body at the sight of Y/N coughing while Eleven and Will smiled from her side.
Y/N didn’t even have time to think before she was being attacked by hugs, Will being the first to hold her tight in between sobs before Eleven joined in. She was passed around between her friends, each of them getting a chance to hug the girl that they thought they had lost before Y/N was suddenly standing face to face with Eddie.
Y/N blinked in surprise, watching silently as Eddie just stared at her with a quivering lip. His quivering lip quickly turned into a shaky smile as tears of relief began to fall from his face. He was pulling her in for a hug within a second, his hand going to the back of her head as he held her close.
Y/N felt herself instantly relax in the boy’s hold, her hands curling into fists around Eddie’s shirt as she shook in his hold. The memories of what had happened flashed through her head, but with Eddie holding her, they were quickly pushed away.
“I thought I lost you,” Eddie whispered as he dug his face into the girl’s neck. Y/N blushed slightly having never seen so much affection from the boy but loving it so much that her heart was roaring with butterflies.
“I’m sorry. I’m here. I should’ve been paying attention to that stupid portal,” Y/N sighed while Eddie pulled away slightly to look at her. The girl looked down before muttering, “Then maybe I would’ve noticed the demogorgon and-“
Y/N began to ramble and all Eddie could do was just smile and shake his head at the girl in disbelief. His smile disappeared for a second as he hit his lip nervously, his eyes flickering over the girl’s face as he argued back and forth with himself.
Finally, Eddie just sighed and muttered, “Fuck it.” Y/N glanced up at him at that, but didn’t have time to question him before he had put both hands on either side of the girl’s face and pulled her forward, instantly connecting their lips into a searing kiss that made Y/N’s face then beet red.
She couldn’t believe what was happening. Eddie Kaspbrak was kissing her. The boy she had been crushing on since she moved to Derry was kissing her! And how unlike him that was. But Y/N couldn’t deny that she liked this uncharacteristic like boldness coming from the boy.
The two teens would’ve continued kissing if it hadn’t been that they were suddenly reminded of the audience they had as soon as whoops and hollers filled the air and Richie yelled out, “Get some, Eddie!”
That made the two instantly pull away, blushes dusting their faces as they shyly look at their friends before looking back at each other. Y/N swore she had never been looked at someone the way that Eddie looked at her in that moment and it only got better when the boy whispered softly to her, “I love you, Y/N.”
Y/N couldn’t help but smile at that and she quickly leaned into kiss the boy once again, pulling away to reveal a dazed and red faced Eddie. “I love you too, Eddie,” she whispered, the utter shock and look of happiness on Eddie’s face making her heart swell.
Eddie was just about to lean into kiss her again when someone in the room cleared their throat, the noise causing the two to freeze when they were only inches apart.
“Okay, so now that you two are in a relationship, I think we need to establish some ground rules and-"
“Steve!"

Fears of the Past ch 4
Major IT ch 2 Spoilers!!
I’m seriously on a roll with writing y’all
AU
***********************************
Numb. You were numb as you sat staring down at the floor. Richie sitting at the end of the bed, switching from looking at you to the hallway. The others gathered outside, silent, you could hear one of them pacing.
You turned to look at Richie and you honestly didn’t recognize him for a moment. He looked paler and empty, like there was nothing left of him. You understood though, he and Stan had been best friends since they were 3 years old. You three were really close, especially during high school.
***
You were leaving for college in a few days and you had finally built up the courage to tell Stan. You had rehearsed it with Richie, who kept reassuring you that Stan wouldn’t hate you. He had marched you over to the Uris residence and Stan could sense you were nervous about something. Richie squeezed your shoulder before walking back down the street.
“Hey, what’s wrong babylove? You know you can tell me anything,” he stared at you, taking your hands in his as you sat down on his bed.
“I got accepted into Stanford and I’m moving out to California in a few days,” all your words were mashed together as you spoke quickly. Stan looked so hurt,
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I was scared, I didn’t want to lose you and I wanted to spend as much time with you as possible making it seem like I wasn’t leaving-” He stopped your rambling by hugging you tight, you cried into his chest as you felt his tears run down his chin.
“I love you, y/n. I would never leave you. Just promise me you’ll never forget me?”
“I promise”
***
“Y/n? Honey, we- we shouldn’t leave him in there.” Bev approached you hesitantly.
“Bev, come on, she just walked in on his-” he couldn’t say it, he wouldn’t say it. Richie just shook his head. Bev sighed and grabbed your hand.
“It’s been almost 3 hours, we can’t leave him in there.”
“I didn’t want to,” it was so quiet and broken, you didn’t realize you said it. Bev and Richie just stared at you with the saddest, apologetic faces and you broke down again. You wiped your tears, getting off the bed and walking off to god knows where. You tried to block out the others yelling for you to stop and come back but you kept going.
You didn’t make it far, you were sitting outside in the parking lot next to your car. You didn’t have a plan but you knew you wanted to be out of there. You felt empty, you hadn’t done enough. The minute you saw Stan again, you wanted to tell him you loved him and that you’re sorry that you did forget him. It was so quiet, the breeze was softly blowing through your hair.
The more you thought about it, the angrier you got. IT has taken away the man you loved, had taunted you about your sexuality and aimed to hurt more of your friends. You weren’t having it, you were gonna kill that fucker if it was the last thing you did. You ran back to the inn, rushing back upstairs while everyone started asking what the hell was going on.
Your blood was boiling as you opened the door to Stan’s room again, the others stood behind you as you walked. You entered the bathroom to look at your lover one more time but instead you found or actually didn’t find something you should have.
“What the fuck guys? You think this is funny? Where’s Stan?” You snapped at your friends who stared in confusion and disbelief.
“Y/n I’m here,” you whipped around to find Stan standing by the bed without a shirt on, holding a towel on his bleeding shoulder. He had minor cuts on his face and a huge bruise close to his beautiful curls. You just stood there, not believing what you were seeing,
“You- you were dead- there was so much blood- and the writing? On the wall? How-” you were rambling and hyperventilating, you pinched your arm and winced, this was real. He was here standing before you and before you realized what you were doing, you walked over, wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him. He used his good arm to hold you close as you broke apart and you sobbed.
***
“Okay is this some Evil Dead shit or are you actually you Staniel?” Richie poked his cheek while Stan rolled his eyes as Bev fixed up his shoulder.
“It’s still me, trashmouth,” Richie dramatically sighed in relief and everyone laughed, you chuckled lightly but you just kept on staring at Stan.
“So uh, are we gonna talk about this?” Ben shuffled around as he looked at you.
“All I remember is I came back here to look for something, a knife in my shoulder, finding fucking Henry Bowers behind me as he pulled it out and attacking me again and he knocked me out,” Stan sighed as Bev finished patching him up- “I don’t know why he shoved me in the tub and I’m pretty sure he wrote that message to fuck with you.”
“He stabbed Eds too so maybe he’s out for-” Bev was interrupted,
“HE WHAT, EDDIE ARE YOU OKAY WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME.”
“HOW DO YOU THINK I GOT A WOUND ON MY CHEEK DIPSHIT.” You had been pulled out of your trance by the bickering idiots and you really thought Richie was gonna have an aneurysm. Stan took this opportunity to take your hand and take you into the hallway,
“Hey, look at me, please y/n?” He said it with the softest voice you’d ever heard and you obliged. He cupped your cheek and smiled at you,
“I thought you died. I didn’t know..”
“I’m right here, I’m not going anywhere babylove,” he sealed that promise by kissing you ever so softly. You intertwined your fingers together and vowed to yourself to never let him go.
“Aww I missed watching you two love birds suck each other’s faces off,” Richie made kissing noises and laughed while you and Stan just rolled your eyes. He was still laughing but Richie made his way over to you both and just hugged you. Richie loved with all of his being, losing any one of you would break him.
The others joined very quickly in a much needed group hug, some of you breaking apart to be closer to others- Rich and Stan, you and Bev, and Ben and Eds.
“Hey Bev, where’s Bill?” Eddie asked suddenly.
“Um he ran off after we saw a skateboard roll down the stairs, he said it was the kid from the restaurant, he lived at Bill’s old house and Bill said he was in trouble.” Bev sounded more confused in every word so everyone was in the same boat.
***
The 6 of you were walking to the library as Mike proposed earlier, you were walking beside Stan, hands laced together. You could hear Eddie and Richie bickering ahead of you while Ben shyly walked next to Bev.
“I wanted to ask you, what were you looking for when you went back up there?” You gripped his hand tighter and you could hear him hum in content,
“I had been cleaning out old boxes from my apartment and I found an old drawing you did of a bird which you had written on ‘I love you forever my bird boy’” he paused and let out a little laugh- “and along with it was a picture of us cuddled up on your couch, asleep. I wanted to show them to you.”
You let a tear roll down your cheek while you rest your head on his shoulder as you continue walking to the library.
***
The library seemed darker than usual, the streetlights surrounding it were barely flickering. The door had been left ajar probably just Mike leaving it open for you all. Quickly walking through the door, something didn’t feel right.
“Guys I don’t know about this..” you whispered loudly so they all stopped walking.
“It’s just Mike, I’m sure everything is fine,” Richie tried to reassure and then you heard yelling and glass breaking. You all tried to stay as quiet as possible trying to find out what the hell was going on. With everyone on edge, you lost track of Richie,
“Where the hell did Rich go??” Everyone looked around for him, you ran around the corner just as Richie had smashed an axe into Bowers head. Bowers fall on the ground and Mike stared up at Richie in shock, you started to approach and then Richie threw up.
“Jesus fuck, Rich”
“You okay?”
“No I’m not! I just killed someone!!” Richie yelled.
“I was talking to Mike..” Ben added sheepishly.
Mike got off the floor, dusting himself off, patting Richie’s shoulder and coming over to the group. He asked where Bill was and none of you could answer definitely so he called him. Sighing as Bill had hung up on him,
“He said the kid was killed in front of him by IT and he’s going to kill it.”
“Alone? Is he kidding?” Eddie scoffed.
“Where would be even go?” Stan asked, squeezing the bridge of his nose.
“Where we fought it last time..”
“Neibolt.” You all day in unison. You knew, you all knew. The Losers club was in the Endgame now.

We’re on a roll babey
*****************************
You had kept these feelings locked up for so long, you had known you were bisexual since you were 13. It was the memories that surrounded it that you couldn’t see, it was all hazy. You remembered feeling like you were betraying Stan, no matter how much he told you he loved you.
Love, there it was, the one thing you were so incredibly sure of. The only thing that never wavered in your heart; you loved Stanley Uris.
You loved the way his golden curls shined in the bright sun. The way he cares for birds in a way you’d care for people. How kind he was and selfless he could be even when he was the one in pain. He was one of the bravest people you knew, even if he didn’t realize it. You would do anything for him, as you knew he would for you without question.
You had been concentrating on slowing your breathing and clutching the old diary in your hands, you didn’t hear the front door open and footsteps coming up the stairs.
“I figured you’d come here,” you jumped up from the bed, holding the book close to your heart before looking up to see it was Stan. He was staring at you with those stupid, beautiful eyes and his gorgeous smile.
“Uh yeah I guess so, sorry I saw-”
“Something you wish you didn’t?” You nodded and he opened his arms for you and honest to god it was pathetic how quick you ran over to him so you could just feel him again. You felt him chuckle and your cheeks flushed, you wondered if you going to do this every time he even looked at you.
After what seemed like only minutes, he released his tight hold on you but he didn’t let go of you. You stared up at him confused and he just smiled at you again, brushing some hair out of your face. His warm touch against your cheek made you instinctively lean into his touch which caused you to blush again.
His other hand came up to the other side of your face, brushing his thumb over the soft skin. You both slowly started leaning forward whether you knew it or not, your lips brushing together. You closed your eyes but to your dismay, the wood paneling in the ceiling came down and you both broke apart. Both of you nearly screaming but instead laughing when you turned to find the paneling on the ground.
***
Back at the inn, you and Stan found Bev at the bottom of the stairs holding what looked like an old postcard.
“Are the others not back yet?” You looked around the other rooms but found nothing.
“Oh yeah, Ben’s upstairs trying to calm Richie down. I don’t know about Eddie or Bill though,” Bev looked tired as she spoke, hiding the postcard in her pocket.
The door opened again and Eddie came in covered in- you honestly didn’t want to know what. He ran upstairs, followed by Stan who quickly kissed your head.
“Everything okay, Eds?” You asked, concerned.
“Yeah. Why? Everything’s fine, I’m fine,” you and Bev weren’t convinced but then again this was EDDIE and he thought everything would kill him at some point. Ben came back down, without Richie and even as he believed he got him to stay, you knew he didn’t. You knew Richie better than anyone except Stan and probably Eddie, he was your shoulder to lean on- your best friend.
Not even moments later, Bill came in and Bev made her way over to him and out of the corner of your eye you saw Ben’s shoulders fall. He went back upstairs and you quietly followed him into his room,
“Are you okay, Ben?”
“I can’t lie to you, never could.” He smiles and shakes his head before looking at you- “I think Bev always had a thing for Bill while I had a thing for her.”
“I know, it was more than a thing Ben, you loved her, I can see you still do,” he stared at you with sadness in his eyes. He shrugged and you hugged him tight but quickly.
“Thank you y/n. Don’t know what I’d do without you,” you laughed at him.
“You lasted 27 years without me and quite well might I add.” He started laughing too but it didn’t last long as you both heard Bev scream. You both ran out and over to the stairs to find Eddie with a knife wound in his cheek.
“Eddie!! What the fuck happened?!” You scrambled down to the floor.
“Bowers is in my room,” Ben took off running toward his room- “Does it look bad?” There was blood gushing out of his mouth as he spoke and you got him up and took him into your room and told Bev to go find something in Eddie’s bags.
***
You cleaned the wound and put a piece of gauze on his cheek with medical tape. Ben was mumbling something about Bowers while Bev was cleaning up the bloody gauze and tweezers off the bed.
“Jesus Eds, you’re a fucking badass. Pulling a knife out of your face to stab Bowers,” you were shocked to say the least and Eddie just smiled nervously.
“I mean it Eds,” you squeezed his shoulder- “I guess this means Richie didn’t stay?”
“What’s that supposed to mean Y/n?” Eddie looked almost offended.
“If you were hurt, he’d be here worried about you like we are, he’d agree that you were brave too.” You smirked and he shoved you while rolling his eyes.
“She’s right Eddie. He would but I guess whatever he saw was too much for him.” You all stayed silent for a bit until you looked around and listened for anything in the hallway,
“Hey has anyone seen Stan?” Everyone shook their heads and your heart began to pound in your chest.
Getting up and walking down to his room, you knocked on the door and waited. Nothing came and your hands got shakier, opening the door you called out to him.
“Stan??... Stanley??... Stan!” You were panicking to say the least when you couldn’t find him in the room, you heard water drips coming from the bathroom. You walked into the small bathroom and fell onto the floor. Your hands immediately came up to your chest and you screamed and just kept screaming.
The other three barged into the room along with Richie who had decidedly come back, you didn’t look back at them, you couldn’t. You didn’t realize you had been crying until Richie crouched down beside you and wiped them away. He was crying too, everything was all too loud and too quiet at the same time.
Before you lay your darling love laying in a bloody bathtub with the words IT GOT TO HIM FIRST written in blood. Your brave Stanley Uris was gone. Richie tried to get you off the floor but you wouldn’t budge,
“Y/n look at me, come on honey,” you shake your head and your tears continue falling as sobs rack your body. Richie sighed shakily, picking you up as you screamed for him to put you down because you couldn’t leave him there. The others put a hand on your shoulders as they cried, Richie took you into his room and just held you. What else was there to do?

I’m back y’all
*************************************
Walking to Neibolt this time around felt like you were walking on broken glass. You remember having nightmares for weeks and your dad having to console you almost every night. It was nothing compared to what happened to Stan or Bev however. You could feel Stan tense as you walked down Neibolt street and then he just stopped and stared at the house on the corner.
“Guys, I-I don’t think I can do this,” he shook his head and you saw a tear fall down his cheek- “I can't go back there, I’m sorry I can’t.”
“We’re all gonna be right there with you, I promise Stan.” Richie put a hand on his shoulder and Stan sighed.
“You’re brave, Stanley Uris, don’t you ever forget,” you whispered to him, wiping his tears and he nodded. Richie clapped his shoulder again and you made your way to the Neibolt house just as Bill approached the door.
“N-no guys, I h-have to do this a-alone, I got you into this mess in the f-first place because I needed to find G-Georgie,” Bill turned around and his shoulders slumped because he still blamed himself. Bev picked up an old iron bar from the fence,
“Well we aren’t leaving you now, losers stick together.” Bev gripped the bar tightly on her hand and no one moved. Bill sighed and nodded.
“Is anyone gonna say anything?” Eddie looked around.
“Richie said it best last time.” Bill looked toward and so did everyone else.
“I did? Uh I don’t wanna die?,” Bill shook his head- “It’s a good thing we aren’t measuring dicks?”
“Beep beep Richie,” you sighed in disgust and he stuck his tongue out at you.
“Let’s kill this fucking clown?” Bill nodded proudly and Richie straightened out and repeated with a deadly tone,
“Let’s kill this fucking clown.”
***
Following behind Eddie with Stan right behind you, gripping your hand for dear life, you all entered the house with a shudder. It was still as gross and dank as you remembered, You followed Eddie, who has followed Bill and Richie into the old kitchen that led to the basement.
All of a sudden Ben starts screaming in pain and the door between the kitchen and the front room is slammed shut. You banged on the door but it wouldn’t budge and then the fridge started shaking. You backed away from the door and close to the corner of the room as the fridge opened,
“No, no how could you.”
You recognized the twisted and mangled body as your mother. You shake your head, refusing to believe what you were seeing. To make matters worse, the body screamed and it’s head rolled off.
“Y/n, my love, oh how you’ve grown,” you let out choked sobs as your friends just stared at it.
“What’s happening to me, Y/n? Help me,” it started sprouting what looked like spider legs from the side of its face and it started laughing. It ran toward you and you moved out of the way as Bill tried hitting it with a piece of wood. You ran towards Stan and Richie, Eddie standing in a corner.
“Eddie? Are you okay?” Richie approaches him.
“Yeah I’m-” a string of drool fell between them and you all looked up to find the spider head. It launched itself at you but Richie pushed you out of the way and it attacked him instead. Eddie didn’t move, Bill jumped on Richie, trying to pull it off him and you lay stunned on the ground, Stan picking up a knife and stabbing the creature.
The door opens and the others walk in, Ben keeping a hand on the side of his stomach and the creature rolling down into the basement. Stan drops the knife immediately, reaching out to Richie but Richie pushes him towards you. Stan gets you off the floor and holds you for a moment, Bev running in handing Richie her sweater to wipe his face,
“Eddie! Are you kidding me?! Richie could’ve fucking died!!” Bill screamed at Eddie, who hadn’t moved from the corner.
“I’m sorry Bill, I was just scared,” Eddie breathes out shakily.
“I’m sorry Eds, I-I’m not mad at you. I j-just want everyone to be s-safe, I can’t lose anyone else t-today, Bill loosened up and pats his shoulder. Everyone joins in the room, looking to Richie, you, and Eddie to make sure you’re okay. Then you all look to the basement, standing proudly, together again to finally defeat IT.
***
“Ugh grey water, I definitely didn’t miss this,” Richie jumps into the sewer, complaining.
“Wow are you kidding me? I told you how gross this fucking water was last time!” Stan rolled his eyes, jumping into the shitty water after him.
“I knew it was disgusting! But I was dedicated to messing with you Stanny!” He splashes water at Richie who dramatically gasps, splashing some back,
“BOYS!” You yell like an annoyed mother.
“Sorry Y/n…” they say in unison, you laugh and continue wading through the sewers. You all come upon the cistern and start climbing up on the old circus cart. Then you heard bubbling up from the water and Bev screaming,
“TIME TO SINK” Bev was pulled down and everyone jumped in the water, except Eddie and you. Eddie held you back and you look back at him confused.
“I didn’t want to stay up here alone, I’m too scared.” He looks down at the water and you grab his hand,
“Eds, you’re not a coward. It’s okay to be scared, I’m scared too.” You smile softly and he nods and you both look back at the water. 6 heads pop out of the water and you all climb back up the cart.
***
“That doesn’t seem safe,” you looked down the uncovered hole in the ground with jagged edges.
Mike shrugs and starts climbing down followed by Bill, Ben, and Stan. Eddie refuses.
“Eds I promise we’ll be okay.” Bev hands him the rod she was holding and heads down followed by you and eventually Richie and Eddie.
You all squeeze through a narrow passage to find huge ragged spikes poking up from the ground. Entering the middle of it, Mike puts down the artifact he told you all about, for the ritual and adds a flame.
“Okay now we put in our tokens.” Mike points to the artifact on the ground. Bill puts in Georgie’s boat, Bev puts in her postcard, Ben a yearbook page, Eddie’s inhaler, Richie’s arcade token, Stan’s bird book, your diary which made your heart clench as you drop it in the fire, and Mike finally puts a rock in from the rock war with the Bowers gang.
He tells you all to chant, join hands, and close your eyes as to not look into the deadlights. You all chant, not really knowing what the hell is going on. So you decide to take a peak, one small peak and then everything goes dark.
There’s blood and crying and more screaming, Eddie was on the ground. Everyone, every single loser lay dead before you and you couldn’t move or scream no matter how hard you tried. You felt something wrap around your throat but you only saw the same thing; your friends dying and you couldn’t do anything.
***
You found yourself on the uneven ground of the cavern, propping yourself up on your elbows, you found your friends hiding behind the jagged spikes while Pennywise appeared larger than life with claws, like a crab.
“Y/n!! Jesus Christ are you okay?!” Mike crouches down beside you, helping you up carefully.
“I’m fine, what happened?” He sighs and tells you he lied about the ritual because the Natives that tried before, died. You had gotten caught in the deadlights while Pennywise started choking you. Bill threw rocks at IT and you were dropped on the ground, Stan and Mike pulling you aside.
“Are you and Stan a couple again?” Mike chuckled and you cocked your head- “he kissed you, that’s how we woke you up.”
“Oh. Y-yeah I guess. Wait is everyone okay? No one- one is?”
“We’re all here I promise you, I wouldn’t let anything happen. I’ve waited too long to kill this son of a bitch to let that happen,” you smile at him, grabbing his hand and joining the others. You find Stan, who hugs you quickly and drags you to another cave within the cavern itself.
Not even given a second to breathe until you two were separated by a rock wall and suddenly you were back at home. You weren’t alone however; Richie, Stan, and Bev were around your bed and Stan was holding your diary wide open. He looked up at you and laughed,
“You’re bisexual now? Wow is that just a grab for attention? This is sad Y/n and to think I actually had feelings for you,” he dropped the diary on the ground and walked towards you and you couldn’t breathe.
“Bisexuality isn’t real! I confided in you only for you to stab me in the back and make up this? You’re pathetic.” Richie shoves you on the ground and you feel hot tears on your cheeks.
“Oh Y/n, those girls only looked back at you because you’re weak and they needed a laugh. You’re disgusting and I can’t believe we were friends.” Bev started laughing at you and it got so loud in your ears but you could still hear your heart pounding in your chest.
“No” you balled up your fists.
“Aww look the little bitch has had enough, that’s cute,” Richie snickered at you.
“NO YOU'RE NOT MY FRIENDS, THIS ISN’T REAL” you screamed and closed your eyes. Everything went silent but you heard Stan- your Stan screaming,
“STAN! STAN IT’S NOT REAL!! STANLEY!!”
“Y/N?!” He sounded scared and confused.
HONEY IT’S NOT REAL PLEASE TRUST ME” you were breathing heavily and ran forward in the dark expecting to find a wall but instead you ran into a body who caught you in his arms. Stanley.
***
You saw everyone back at the edges of the cavern, except Richie-
“Hey fuck face!! Wanna play truth or dare? Here’s a truth for ya, you’re a sloppy bitch!! Yippee-ki-yay mother-” Richie was slammed against the cave wall by one of IT’s claws and you screamed. You heard Eddie yell and launch the fence bar into IT’s face and then silence. Until you saw the back of Eddie’s head and IT’s claw launching toward him and his head disappeared.
Your vision was coming true, IT would kill your friends and you couldn’t do anything.
