Do you have any headcanons on jealous so’lek and flirty eetu?

When you first tell So'lek that you'll be learning how to hunt from Eetu of the Aranahe clan, he was immediately stating how he should be with you.

The very mention of Eetu's name makes So'lek growl irritably.

From his run-ins with the Aranahe, So'lek knows Eetu as a young, overconfident warrior who appears very loose and unbothered by anything.

Whereas So'lek is older, toughened by war and great loss (that Eetu will only feel after losing Zomey).

So'lek isn't an idiot. He sees the vast difference between himself and Eetu and knows that Eetu's personality can be found charming under particular circumstances.

So if you end up charmed by the Aranahe, So'lek was just going to have more reasons to despise the young hunter.

One of his main concerns is Eetu inability to take things seriously. What if something happens? What if you get hurt? Would Eetu know what to do, or would he even take it seriously?

If you return to HQ and talk to him about Eetu, you better expect So'lek to be a lot grumpier than usual.

He'll want to see all that Eetu taught you, and if your skills have actually improved, he'll begrudgingly admit it. If not, he's going to blame Eetu and immediately takes over teaching you.

So'lek might take it easier on Eetu after Zomey's death. He wouldn't wish that sort of pain on anyone, not even Eetu. I'd imagine So'lek saw a younger version of himself in Eetu, seeing that grief and pain so fresh and evident in the young taronyu's eyes. The two of them will have a more courteous conversation for the first time ever after that.

Despite knowing that Eetu is easier to get along with, So'lek is far more mature.

Eetu is flirty and fun, so he would be a breath of air, but he doesn't strike me as the type who would take a relationship seriously yet. He might slow down and treat you right if he was serious about courting you, but he's got a bit of growing up to do before then.

So'lek, on the other hand, WILL treat you right and WILL take everything about your relationship seriously because he cares so much, even though it's hard for him to show it. He knows he's not the most charming and charismatic man, so he considers himself grateful if you chose him regardless. He would never take advantage of it. He'll make sure you never regret your decision, but why would you?

Being trapped in a empty RDA dragonship with Eetu woulda been wayy hotter if ubisoft wasn't about to shit on my day like imagine you and Eetu was running around the forest and you come across a abandoned rda site and yall messin around and end up getting locked in a empty dragon ship, it's got all kinds of overgrowth after being abandoned for some time and the door is hard to open due to all of the vines and other flora growing in and out of it and you already called up Teylan and So'lek to come get you out but it's finna take hours for them to get there on top of getting you out so you might as well spend your time fucking. I'm talking the nastiest, raunchiest, heavy handed, sweaty, toe curling, back arching, mind boggling sex ever because why not. You are trapped in a space with a hot guy and you won't be able to get out for a few hours and he's got a flirty personality, especially with you? There's no way you don't wanna do the most disgraceful, deviously freaky shit ever like imagine it's been like three hours, you in his lap, he still inside you, cum everywhere, he still hard and yall just having the nastiest, most passionate, can't keep your hands to yourself make out session known to pandora and so'lek tell you over the comm that they finna be there in about a hour and you know what that mean

A/N: Sorry for the inactivity but I've been busy these past couple of months, this is a little short and very overdue but I promise to get back into the swing of things soon!

Tìyawn: Love

The faint rain pattering on the large leaves above lulled Pandora's creatures into a wistful slumber. My mate Eetu slept calmly under the stars by the smouldering coals of the campfire. I too had joined him, tucked protectively in the crook of his torso, my ears flickering softly to the croaks of amphibians basking in the wet weather. I let out a gentle exhale as I fell into a deep sleep.

My vision fades into the familiar classroom of TAP. My classmates' chatter falls into the background as the walls suddenly rattle with gunfire. Surprised cries are heard down the hall as the dream walkers frantically try to intervene.

Dr. Cortez ushered us below our desks. Our towering frames hunched over painfully as we sat silently as the bullets finally rang silent. I glance over to Teylan as he quivers, unshed tears in his eyes.

Everything was quiet, the only thing we heard was our shuddering breath and the muffled whimpers from Teylan.

Suddenly the metal doors blew off their rails as armed tawtute rushed in with automatic artillery, the cries of the dream walkers fell silent with the cracks of bullets and we couldn't help but weep for our fallen teachers. Suddenly a rifle barrel was shoved into my face before a blinding flash overcame me, I felt like I was watching from beyond my body as I writhed in agony for a moment before subsuming to the trauma.

"Tìyawn... Ma Tìyawn" I hear the distant cries as I'm shaken from the depths of unconsciousness. A choked gasp escapes me as I come to. Eetu is hovering above me, his eyes blown wide in worry, his hair mused from his own slumber.

As my gaze settles on my mate I can't help my lip from quivering, I knew deep down it was a nightmare but it was almost a reality on many occasions. TAP had affected me more than I would like to admit, TAP was all I knew, I was moulded into a pawn for the RDA and stripped of my identity.

Eetu knew I wouldn't improve overnight, it had been years since I was defrosted from cyro but the memories continue to haunt me. When we bonded he swore I wouldn't have to walk this path alone, he kept this vow even now as he ran his hand soothingly through my hair, humming the beginnings of a Sarentu hymn coaxing me to sing along. He knew it was the only way to quell my mind in these fragile moments.

I slowly began to harmonise with Eetu as I lay limply against his side exhausted. Yet he stayed a steady presence beside me never asking me to divulge my thoughts and for that, I was forever grateful.

So'lek:

Any child of his will have him wrapped around their little fingers. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

He is their personal jungle gym.

You know how male lions play with their cubs that also helps them create social and survival instincts? Yeah, that's So'lek.

Once those kids get older, it's easier to say "no" to them, and he's easily labeled as the Strict Parent.

He secretly loves the "new baby smell". His mate might not catch a break between children just from this alone.

I see his children growing up to be rambunctious and playful, the opposite of their father. I just think it's a nice contrast. He's gotta have a little bit of sunlight in his life, ya know?

Anyone remember Bambi's dad? The Prince of the Forest? That's So'lek. Go watch Bambi 2 and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Nor:

He's very unsure. Has no idea what he's doing. Poor guy just GOT here.

He will constantly ask other Na'vi around him, "Am I doing this right? How do I-? Wait, shouldn't I try-?"

This makes him the Helicopter Parent, unfortunately for any mate of his that will have to deal with that 🤣

Any small jump those children make off of even the TINIEST of steps will send Nor into a small panic attack.

LOVES holding babies against his chest. It's so warm and fulfilling. Everything else that was once so horrible about his life immediately melts away.

As the children get older, Nor is constantly hounding them about safety. He always needs to know where they're going and how long they're gonna be gone. Sometimes, if they're running late, he's immediately ready to start a search party. You can't exactly blame the poor guy for being paranoid.

Eetu:

The Fun Parent.

Eywa help any mate of Eetu's because they will have to simply accept the fact that he will be the fun parent to their children. No matter what.

Have you ever seen that viral video of the gorilla dad who constantly steals his child away to play while the mother chases him? That's Eetu.

Nefika has always insisted that Eetu should learn to slow down and teach younger Na'vi by telling them stories and warning them of the dangers of hunting. And now, he finally does. While he is still the fun parent, having kids has taught him to slow down.

His children and other Aranahe children LOVE his stories as well. Nefika grins like a cat who got the cream whenever she finds Eetu sitting still, surrounded and trapped by children, eager for more stories.

If Etuwa has kids as well, she and Eetu with take their little ones and go flying together. Flying is a must for any children of Eetu.

oh and by the way. there’s someone on the Kelutral Discord who’s dug into the AFoP game files for modding purposes, and according to them Eetu’s name IS ACTUALLY SPELLED ITU in like half the files. Which is. y’know. how it should be spelled according to Na'vi phonetics.

which means that it probably WAS originally supposed to be “Itu” but someone somewhere down the line DONE GOOFED
