Hopper begrudgingly sits down to give El the sex talk.
El: Oh. I already know about sex. I learned from Mike.
Hopper: . . . .
El: . . .
Hopper: *eye twitches*
El: *grins* Just kidding. . . Or am I?
Hopper: Joyce!
Joyce: Are you thinking about killing Mike again, honey? Remember, if you go to prison again, I'll never talk to you.
Hopper: Thanks!

Mike literally called El every night for 353 days even though he hadn’t heard back from her at all and the Duffers are honestly trying to tell me that he’s not in love with her?

When Mike didn’t say “I love you”, By*ers twisted it to their narrative.

These are THE SAME scene. The way Mike and Nancy’s faces both going from in denial to in complete shock, and their reactions to hearing how El and Jonathan knew what they did and they had no clue.. god, they’re so tethered it’s insane.

i'm a hardcore byler shipper and just wanted to know how you think the duffers will handle Will's feelings if mlvn is endgame (highly doubtful) bc it just doesn't make sense narratively to do a whole ass confession from will just to discard it... that would literally make no sense to the plot!! it's obvious they're building byler for something big next season, still i want to see your views on the matter! :)
I see your point. However, I personally believe that it wouldn’t make sense narratively for a couple that’s been built up for four seasons to suddenly be dissolved. Especially since S5 seems like it’s going to be action packed, with less time to focus on relationships.
As for how they handle Will’s feelings, well, I’m not the Duffer Brothers, so I don’t know. But I don’t see why Mike has to reciprocate them. Will can still have a happy ending (assuming that’s what they’re going for) without Mike. Thanks for the ask!
