thoughts about blockbuster.

I didn't really like Blockbuster. It feels like a very tired version of the workplace sitcom. The characters aren't lovable or memorable. They are mostly archetypes. I say this as I compare the show to Superstore and B99. The characters in the shows have flaws but the writers do a great job of making you root for them. Even though Charles and Mateo may seem like very grating characters at first but they manage to be some of the best characters in the end. I don't see that potential for Percy. He is just a bad friend. There is no redeeming quality. Connie, Eliza, Carlos, and Hannah just fade into the background. I like Kayla. there is a lot of potentials there but they play her off too often as the mean character who comes in with zingers. I just think they had so much potential. Especially since the cast and writers are phenomenal. Anyway, I will end this by saying that it was not my cup of tea. But I see the potential.
