Loud loud laugh. The type of laugh to make you go under the table. Happens roughly 2-3 times a day.

Constantly forgetting people don't have the ability to understand with just one, maximum three words. Exception: INTX

Hating to be late and arriving early. Completing several tasks while waiting.

Inspecting and dissecting your crushes so you know what you're dealing with. Most of the time we "un-crush" them with a snap of our fingers.

Sometimes we "just go with it" and end in a semi-casual situationship.

When they tell you we are confident and undisturbed by flirting, they're probably lying or not competent enough about speaking on real (not psychology explained) life. We do. It's just not obvious. INTJs, INTPs and ENFJs might not agree, because they somehow just know.

Laurent was born in Paris to Louis and Adeline De Chevaliers, 2 well known bohemian/hippies who were semi-successful authors. They did not take much to do with their son.

Laurent was an only child, cared for mostly by his rich Grandmother Sylvia who lived in a lavish apartment close to the Louvre. She was a strict, but overtly glamorous woman that Laurent adored.

Laurent grew into a snippy, vain teenager that liked to smoke long cigarettes in Parque Monceau, and drink cheap bottles of Champagne with his other music obsessed friends.

Laurent met Claude Babineaux when he was 16 and by the time they were 17, they were dating. Claude was a quiet but handsome boy that Laurent had teased mercilessly until Claude had kissed him hard on the Pont Neuf.

Claude came from a very well of family, and was adamant that his father could not find out about them. Laurent agreed and their relationship became a clandestine one, were they met mostly at his grandmothers apartment, or out in public. This continued for 2 years.

Laurent was 19 and just about to start at The Conservatoire de Paris, when Claude's father paid him a visit. Mr Babineaux was 20 years his senior and offered Laurent a cool few million and a place at the prestigious Université Côte d'Azur in Nice if he cut all contact with his son.

24 hours previously, Laurent had sat with Claude in Parque Monceau and told him he loved him. Now, he was taking money from his lovers father. The night ended with Laurent on his back and Mr Babineauxs hand in his hair. Laurent couldn't quite figure out which was the worst part. The fact that he so willingly took a bribe from his boyfriends father, or the fact that he fucked him afterward.

The next morning, Laurent was on a train to Nice and had cut all contact with Claude. He has not seen him since and often wonders does he know what Laurent did that night. Did that hurt more than the leaving. Laurent thinks about Claude often, but the memories are all sad ones now.

Laurent moved to Monaco after his graduation, and began working for the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra. He played First chair Violin for 7 years, before becoming a conductor for 2.

It was around a year or so before he came to America, that he began writing his own scores for sale to Hollywood. He remained with the philharmonic and this is were most of his wage came from, but his freelance composing earned him a hefty penny on the side.

Laurent was invited to Hollywood to work as lead composer for some high brow, multimillion dollar period piece, so he left his home in Monaco about 4 months ago.

Laurent's eccentric uncle Phillipe had lived on a ranch in Virginia since the late 90s, fulfilling some strange cowboy fancy. Laurent flew to NYC and then, took a trip down south to visit his Uncle before ultimately, flying on out to California.

On the way down, in a car just small enough for the tight little country roads, Laurent got good and lost and when he did finally find a store to pop into for directions, it was too late. Huntsville had him.

He tried and tried, for a solid month to get out, driving for hours and always finding himself back at the same fucking welcome sign. It was enough to drive him mad for a while.

So, he went out and bought a Piano and a cheap violin that he replaced all the strings on, and shoved it all into an apartment that was so terribly small he almost knocked the kitchen wall through to make some space. For the past month, he's been writing, playing and drinking red wine while he pours over books in a bar downtown.

- Early on Emma learned fairy tales weren’t only made of dreams, but nightmares as well. sadie is here for one reason and one reason only; her brothers. the teagues are thick as thieves -- literally -- and no one is able to come between them. it’s hard to seperate people that bonded through trauma; first the wounds inflicted by their father, then by orion bartholomew. they stepped from the frying pan into the fire when it came to father figures. they had to hold onto each other, and due to their shared experiences, anyone on the outside was mistrusted immediately. in elias, this lack of trust in anyone but themselves is still very much present. sadie is a firm believer in not needing anyone else, in being fine with just the three of them, and anyone willing to take away her brothers is seen as a threat. without their mother, sadie stepped into the maternal role, trying to take care of logan and beckham as best as she can, but it’s pretty clear that she’s nowhere near ready to do so. from messed up meals saved by takeout and ordering in, to messily stitched up wounds that get infected easily because she did not clean them thoroughly enough.

she’s taken two jobs to support herself, was fired from one and is threatening to get fired from the other. turns out that customer service is not her strong point, but she can get away with more as a bartender than she could as a waitress. but what does she have to put on her resumé? dabbling in the occult, being a professional cat lady, terrorising children with scary masks even when it’s not halloween? she had to face the facts and realise that she had little to nothing to offer the world outside of hallow falls. she could no longer rely on her family to put bread on the table, so she took the first few jobs she found. but waitressing was not it (apparently, telling a customer to fuck off and get a life in response to ‘can i talk to your manager’ was not appropriate in a restaurant setting), and bartending is difficult. so she found something she was good at. 

the escort life isn’t glamorous, not in the slightest, but it pays. enough to feed the three of them, enough to have a little place to receive her clients, enough to be able to stop worrying about whether their electricity or water supply will be turned off next. so no, she’s not happy, but she’s satisfied, and that’s what matters. she has her cat (that she definitely did not reanimate after his death and restore to life. definitely not. he’s just old, it’s just a silly rumor), her books and her brothers. they’re all she needs.

sadie, like her two brothers, was born to carrie teague, a human, and jason teague, a demon. of course, she’d only had one brother at the time, as she came after beckham and logan came after her, but of their parentage there was no doubt. from birth, it was firmly established that the three of them could not simply be fully human. their mother was too kind, too angelic, to wonderful to have spawned those three menaces with another man, and their father was too terrible, too disgusting, too brutal to have birthed those three children with a sliver of goodness in their heart on his own. no one bothered to tell the three of them, though. so they remained in the dark, believing their mistakes were their own fault rather than their father’s.

just like her brothers, sadie had great potential. her powers manifested early on; she felt most comfortable near graveyards, talking to her friends that people around her (even in hallow falls) deemed imaginary, with a good book, her cat, and her army of ghosts. at first, they just talked to her, nudged her in the right direction and demanded a listening ear. but as she grew older, she started to refuse to listen. rebellious teenagers had problems with authority figures, and sadie was no different. whenever a ghost tried to demand something from her -- a way to help them move on, to use her as a vessel, to let their story be heard -- she refused, and it took its toll on her. she needed to be in control, but they wouldn’t let her, and whenever she lost focus for a moment, they appeared, and became visible to all, not just sadie. she’d been using her powers to keep them at bay and to protect other people from them, but it was getting harder and harder. the beings from the other side were demanding, and were now out for revenge. still, if she focused, if she stayed in control, things were fine.

actually, things were most definitely not fine. from a childhood spent hiding from an angry father and gravitating naturally towards her mother’s arms for comfort, towards the kind bookseller’s shop with little nooks to hide with her cat, to teenage years spent anxiously patching up her wounds -- and her brothers’, running away from home more times than she could count -- and always coming back for the other members of her family, to adolescence following her brothers around to a new town with new people to terrify and terrorise, to safely explore her options when it comes to her powers. but maybe that’s not what she wants anymore -- though a lifetime of sin is hard to unlearn, especially if she’s not sure what she wants.

since she dropped out of high school, walt university hasn’t been an option for sadie. elias is a place to run away to, not to settle down and have a life. but that’s what’s currently happening, as her brothers seem to have found their place and they don’t seem very hell-bent on leaving anytime soon. she’s here because of them, and because of her mother’s explicit wishes. 

so maybe she finds a reason or two to stay. a purpose, a desire. she’s a blank slate with a disturbing past, and will do anything to make sure her future is as far from bleak and blank as possible. she doesn’t have the best reputation, despite her best efforts to control it, but has no problem lying and cheating her way back into people’s good graces. needless to say, that doesn’t always work.

i like lucy and will's basement apartment. there's a bed in the middle of the main room, plus a little bedroom for elenore. they have really big bookshelves stacked higher than they could have possibly imagined. really 80s wood paneling, unfortunately. their bathroom is mr. bubble themed.

i would say it's third-person selective! i'm the omniscient narrator, but i don't go into omniscient detail about more than one character in a single vignette.

Constance grew up in a small and poor town. She was the youngest of four children. Her childhood was anything but easy, even at a young age. Her parents were poor farmers, who lived in a small town. Growing up, Constance was put to work doing chores around the farm. She hated it. She would rather keep busy by keeping the home. Her mother was a kind and lovely lady, but her father was cruel and an alcoholic. He hated Constance and her mother, abusing both of them regularly. She began to hate him, and most men as a byproduct.

As Constance grew older, she grew more beautiful - too beautiful as some would say. She cared deeply about her appearance, to the point of vanity. Her cruel father would call her awful names. However, Constance’s mother always told her daughter how proud she was of her. Constance always had higher aspirations for her life, which involved more money and a higher social status. The moment the opportunity came to marry Ambrose Harper, son of a long-standing wealthy farming family, she took it. Anything to get away from her poor, abusive father. However, three years into their marriage, Ambrose met his early demise by a hatchet accident - leaving his money to Constance. This wasn’t enough. She wanted more.

She would go to marry five times in total, all meeting their demise by hatchet accidents and leaving their fortunes to her. She never stayed married for too long, with the exception of her last husband George Hightower. Each of her husbands left her more wealth and status than the last. Marrying George, Constance finally had gathered all the wealth and stature she dreamed of. She was finally satisfied, and didn’t completely hate her fifth husband.

However, something that wasn’t part of the plan was having children.  She was anything but a loving mother. If anything, it threw a wrench in her plans. Her firstborn was young when their father died mysteriously. She would marry again before having her second child. She always thought George was soft-hearted when it came to their daughter, and had no problem telling him such. It was twelve years into their marriage before George ultimately met the same fate as her previous husbands. After his death, Constance and her children remained in their mansion.

It was rumored Constance died of old age, and would haunt the attic where the remnants of her past life were kept. She didn’t have many friends in the mansion, keeping mostly to herself and her children.

Hello, Angelic-beings! My name is Cherie Vivienne Ruby. Cherie from Cher Horowitz, I adore her so much, she's my favorite character from a movie 'Clueless'. Some Promised Neverland Thoughts

So, sometimes I like typing characters, and seeing someone’s take on Emma, Ray, and Norman’s type got me thinking about them. I’m not well-versed of course, so this will probably just turn to me rambling about them. Please take what I’m saying here with a grain of salt. 

First is Ray, since he’s my favorite character and one I’ve spent more time thinking about. 

As of now, I’m thinking he’s an INTJ. The function stack for INTJ is Ni-Te-Fi-Se. From what I’ve read, intuition focuses more on abstract things and the future, in contrast to sensors, who focuses on what is presently happening or what one “senses”. Introverted intuition (Ni) is the one function I have had a hard time understanding, so let’s talk about Ne first. Extroverted intuition (Ne) is said to have an analogy of a firework, one idea that gave birth to a hundred more ideas, what if questions. Someone with high Ne is said to question all sorts of things, try every approach, before they arrive on one conclusion. As opposed to that, to reach that one conclusion, high Ni does all their thinking inwardly. They have a web of information stored inside their minds that enables them to say, “from all the information we have, this is what will happen, so this is what we should do,” (compared to Ne’s “this is the information we have, there’s a bunch of things that could happen.”) However, as it is an introverted function, one with high-Ni would need sometime alone to process all the information they’ve gathered before they reach that one conclusion and discard all the other paths because, according to that web of information, those other paths are not feasible. The down side is, they are not quite flexible to new input, unlike Ne who is more prone to change their mind once something better presents itself. Ni likes to gather all information necessary before they give their answer. 

The second function is Extroverted Thinking (Te). Te is a judging function that acts as an execution function. The way I understand it, it is the function that gives order in our life. It allows us to make methodical, structured decisions. A step-by-step approach. So, Ni, with its vision, paired with Te, with its methodical approach, gave the impression of someone who would methodically gather necessary information and do the necessary things in order to reach that one goal. 

That is how I think Ray works. He’s known about the House since he was 5, been Mama’s spy for the last 6 years while trying to find a way to escape. Having read a lot of books, he is a very resourceful person. His Ni comes into action with the way he slowly but surely works toward that one goal to escape the House. Being Mama’s spy in order to gather more intel on her, the House, and possibly make her look away from him is the result of his Ni-dom driving him toward his goal. It also enables him to become a double-agent, as he thinks it is necessary for his continued survival. Besides, he was never 100% on Mama’s side either. He was only there for his own gain. 

And then there is his tert-Fi and inferior Se.

Fi, or Introverted Feeling, is a judging function based on morals and feelings (as they say). Compared to Fe that focuses on other people, Fi focuses on one’s self, one’s preference, one’s wishes and dreams and likes and dislikes. I believe his tert-Fi is apparent in how he wants for Norman and Emma to escape with him. They’re his best friends. He doesn’t want them to die. 

All this to make sure you two don’t get killed.

His priority, aside from him escaping the House, is for Emma and Norman to live. From what I see in episode 6, I think Ray was being honest when he said this. He doesn’t necessarily care about the others. All he wants is for him to live and his best friends to live too. Another reason why his Fi is stacked lower is in how he has trouble expressing his emotions. Normally, he would dismiss the idea of making decisions based on emotions. But what I see in episode 6, the way he feels sorry and how he stammers when he apologizes, makes me think that he really is not comfortable dealing with his emotions. 

As for his inferior Extroverted Sensing (Se), from what I understand of it, it is the function that allows you to take information from your five senses at the present time. High Se makes you highly observant. Low Se however makes you not good with physical stuffs, as seen with Ray never playing tag with everyone because... I forgot why... was it because it’s tiring?

Lol ok this has become quite a long post. But anyway that’s why I think Ray is an INTJ at the moment. I could very well be wrong, either on Ray’s character or the functions’ explanations. And maybe once I’ve gotten the hang on Ray’s character on future episodes, my opinions could very well change. So let’s just say this is Ray Typing Part 1. I’ll probably try to write a post on Norman and Emma’s characters once I’ve grasped more of their character... maybe.
