General Goddess Information

None of them would exist without the Asgardian who foresaw Thanos's plans and raced to find some way to stop him. She's also the one responsible for 'creating' the Avengers as they bear her mark as well.

The Asgardian was able to do this with the help of some Olympian goddesses (same goddesses these OCs are named after) who defied Zeus's orders much like the Asgardian defied Odin's to ignore her visions. They are the reasons these humans have their powers alongside the Asgardian's possession of the Mind Stone, a gift given to her by the Loremaster himself during her younger years.

Each goddess will actually be tied to a specific Infinity Stone as well that will not only enhance but pairs well with their imbued powers given by the Olympians.

Chrissy Stark - Power Stone

Leila Barton - Space Stone

Becca Barnes - Reality Stone

Cat Pierce - Soul Stone

Kendra Rumlow - Time Stone

All were captives of Hydra at one point until their freedom during the final events of Thor. The first one was Chrissy Stark who is followed quite quickly by Leila Barton. It'll be a few years before the other three goddesses join them.

All have the ability to shapeshift alongside their main magical talents. Each one has a preferential animal, but they aren't necessarily limited to that animal.

All have Howard Stark’s super soldier serum running through them, enhancing their magic and other abilities, including agility, strength, and regeneration. They were given the serum rather than the so-called super soldiers that we learn about in CACW.

Like the Winter Soldier, they’re all cryo-frozen when they’re not either being experimented upon or used for Hydra’s whims. They're actually forgotten about in these chambers because they didn't stop fighting every time Hydra woke them.

Unlike the Winter Soldier, their minds were never wiped over and over to gain their complicity nor were they really 'programmed'. Hydra feared they'd forget how to use their magic and would make them unstable for their uses, so they had to find other means to keep the Goddesses in line.

Welcome to THE ENHANCED, a personal writing project that is a rewrite of a very, very old story I was working on a long time ago. I will probably never officially publish this, but I still wanted to get it out to the world somehow, so this blog came to be.

(The plot is really old so expect some cliches T-T)

I will be posting chapters (probably in parts) for your enjoyment. I do not have a definite release schedule yet, as I have to actually write it out first, but I will keep you guys updated as much as possible.

My plan right now is to write all of act 1 before I start posting so I can keep a semi-consistent schedule of publication, but that's open to change.

Anya really, really hates lying to people. Which is weird, considering that when she's not suffering through getting a criminology degree, she has a part time job at the Pacific Northwest chapter of ERGO--an organization that protects and monitors people who were born....different.

The enhanced, they were dubbed, the handful of kids who were born around the world with any kind of 'enhancement'--from being exceptionally strong or fast to having wings. And just like anything new... it wasn't taken very well by the general population.

Anya's newest project should be fairly simple: check out college student Charlie, who they suspect to be enhanced, and to have some unfortunate connections that could be invaluable in the fight for acceptance and safety.

She's a very dedicated person though, fully committing herself to school, her job, and everything else she does. She loves helping people, and is very empathetic.

Anya lost her parents and older brother at thirteen, in a nasty car accident caused by a storm and an unfortunately placed pothole. Her parents had died instantly, and her brother had succumbed to the injuries later on, leaving Anya alone.

She floated around the foster system for a couple of months before finally landing with the Henare family. She soon got close with her foster brother, Kai. Not long later, that family adopted her and she loves them very very much.
