I think S6 Willow is eons scarier than S3 Faith, but Faith could have killed Willow with her knife, maybe. I think Faith is super glad The Mayor interrupted so she doesn't have to decide. Good doggie Faith (affectionate). I think Willow wanted to hurt Dawn, and then as she got going she thought death by Buffy was an OK option, and what better way to ensure death by Buffy than killing Dawn?

Also later in 6x21 Willow says, "I've got big party plans." Just like Faith in 3x10 Amends!

okay well here’s the thing if you wanna get into spn i can recommend a handful of episodes to get you going that work best as standalones and are compelling but then you have to pull the trigger piglet and just start at 1x01 and let it all wash over you like the tsunami it is

that being said: *my* personal favorites are 11x04 baby, 6x20 the man who would be king, and 3x03 bad day at black rock. also pretty much all of season 2. seasons 2 and 11 are my favorites.

do NOT watch any of those as your intro to the show except maybe bad day at black rock. that one works as a standalone pretty well.

If you had to pick the top five episodes of supernatural what would you pick? I'm asking because I'm planning a binge party with my friends but I legit cannot decide

ohmygod ohmygod YES that sounds so fun!!! i have some amazing eps in mind, but idk if i can put them in a particular order of favorites, also just picking 5 from the whole series is HARD, especially because there's such a wide range of vibes in the eps. okay lemme think:

5x22 "Swan Song" - is this thee best spn ep of all time? with the narration, the montages - you decide.

5x08 "Changing Channels" - a full on crack episode that somehow manages to be crucial to the apocalypse plotline?? sign me tf up.

6x15 "The French Mistake" - this would make everyone's top 5 list i think, but that's because it's valid. imo you can't do a spn binge collection without this ep

11x04 "Baby" - a robbie thompson classic. another ep that's debated to be one of the best. yeah, the one from the car's perspective <3

10x05 "Fan Fiction" - i'm a fan of the meta episodes, but i know some aren't, so if you're not, def pick another one, buttttt it's a musical. about their lives. and they're watching it. it's awesome.

Honorable Mentions:

1x18 "Something Wicked" - listen this one is just special TO ME, it's the first time we see young sam and dean interact with john, and it's really just beautifully tragic that that's the case, but it's def a crucial ep in young dean studies.

4x01 "Lazarus Rising" - first time we see Cas is a MUST imo. plus, it's just an EPIC entrance for angels and a great season premiere.

4x21 "When the Levee Breaks" - if you want angsty, full-of-pain ep, this has to make your list. if you're aiming for lighthearted, funny eps, maybe not so much, but i'll list it because it's just that good

6x20 "The Man Who Would Be King" - an option for the cas girlies (gn). this is a great ep, and if you're a heller friend, you may choose to include this one from our fav angel's perspective.

12x11 "Regarding Dean" - a comfort ep of mine. if you're a deangirl like me, this one my be extra special to you too. it's got dean cuddling a bunny, adorable dean and rowena scenes, and ofc the mechanical bull, so it's a win.

13x06 "Tombstone" - a heller classic. deancas reunion, deancas in cowboy hats, dean being happy, cas meeting jack - it has everything, my beloved <3

13x16 "Scoobynatural" - it's a scooby-doo crossover. enough said.

15x18 "Despair" - destiel confession scene, but yeah. this one is pretty tense, obviously, so tread lightly.

Elena just took the cure. whatever, I don't really care, I just hope she won't become annoying again. the bigger question is: how are they planning for Damon to take the cure?? the whole sucking-it-out-of-Elena's-blood thing is..... yeah it's just straight up stupid. I'm pretty sure it would mean Elena dies. but more importantly: Katherine took the cure and died of old age after her 500 years caught up with her. sure, Damon is only 200, but I highly doubt that would be any better on a human body. I was expecting some witchy business to modify the cure, and it might, by the time he takes it in season 8, but for now it's just stupid

So I'm slowly making my way through CSI and I'm hoping you have some thoughts. I'm near the end of season 6 (on ep 6x20 tonight) and I just need to know... what's up with Nick's hair??? I'm dying. Is this Midlife Crisis hair or what? I thought the mustache was peak awful but at least it only lasted for like 3 episodes.

I definitely think it's a midlife crisis of sorts, that the events of grave danger affected him more than he lets on and he's just trying to find himself again--maybe it begins with him just...not caring about his appearance anymore, a zero fucks attitude that you'll see continue to develop in the later seasons, hence the longer boyband hair (that does look very similar to greg's lol so that could be a whole other thing in itself,) I've written in fics before the mustache was just a bet gone wrong for nick but again, could just be him trying something new, trying to see what fits, because his body still feels like it's on fire, his muscles feel tight, no matter how often he goes to the gym he can't quite shake the feeling that he's weak, he keeps trying to tell himself it's over but he can't quite shed the skin that he feels like it's still being picked apart--

so he changes his hair.
