Heartslabyul - Disneyland Paris

it's been like 6 years but I remember there being a lot of topiary I thought was neat? otherwise this is really just based on vibes. the aesthetic for cater. the food for trey and riddle. ace and deuce could even argue about the castle being smaller than the disneyland one. you get it

Savanaclaw - Knott's Berry Farm

if anyone makes a wordplay joke I'll kill you. when I was there, it was incredibly empty and half the place was under repair so all we did was eat. there's a lot of food. and when I went it was decently priced. actually this one is just for Ruggie

being so real rn I haven't been to disneyworld since I was like. 3. but I know they have that animal kingdom thing and I think Jade would like that a lot. Azul would get a kick out of epcot. Floyd would shoplift from all the souvenir stores. and get away with it too

Scarabia - Disneyland

at least Kalim could afford it with these new prices smh. I think he would like the thrill rides the most. he takes pictures with all the cast members. like, all of them. even the guy sweeping up trash on main street. Jamil doesn't really seem like a ride guy to me, but he strikes me as the sort of man to be really interested in theme park lore so he'd enjoy himself anyway

Pomefiore - Efteling

saving the best park for the best dorm <3 I've been to the efteling most recently out of all of these and it's the only theme park that doesn't make me feel like I'm dying. very autism friendly. there are thrill rides (for epel) and a wooded fairytale-themed walking portion (for rook) (also my favorite part). I also felt that there were more/better food choices, since I was vegan when I last went and still got to eat with everyone else. vil would appreciate that

I remember liking the set tours and they do have a good amount of thrill rides (for lilia). silver can fall asleep in the dreamworks theater because it's air conditioned and dark. malleus can get really judgy about the evil wizard thing's architecture. that would be great. sebek gives me minion facebook mom vibes sometimes so I think he'd enjoy the minion thing they have there. I would also go during halloween cause I think they would get a kick out of the classic movie monsters. especially lilia

“Tomorrow’s Child”

My first Epcot/Horizon mashup piece! I feel like Aloy would definitely vibe early Epcot Center!

Peter got that take you to Disney world then blow your back out at the hotel kinda vibe

omg.....

you just know he'd be the absolute sweetest all day. buying you so many things, wearing matching mickey ears—yours being classic minnie and his being classic mickey. you'd drag him on all the rides and his favourite is definitely epcot (although he's partial to a little space mountain). you both eat your way around the park too, him enjoying the mickey churros a little too much.

late night dinner in the park is your favourite though, sitting outside under the stars as you eat and share a dessert with him. he's looking at you so sweetly, eyes all soft and his smile doesn't fade from his face. he gently swings your hand as you walk back to the hotel, talking to you about the next day and what stuff you haven't done yet.

he lets you go for a shower, cooling off for the day while he gets into bed, scrolling on his phone. when you come out the shower, you've dried off but you don't even bother putting anything on, the room running hot so even underwear would make you sweat. you left the ears on however, after peter mentioned how much he liked them on you.

you crawl on top of him and he smiles at you, putting his phone down and giving you a soft kiss on your lips.

"you have fun today, baby?"

"mmhm.. thank you for today.."

you just sat like that for a moment, laying into his chest and straddling his lap before he shifted underneath you, almost grinding against you. it wasn't long before he had shoved his shorts off and moved behind you, pushing you down into the mattress. he was filling you up so good, you had to bite your pillow to hide any noises you made—not wanting to disturb the family on the other side of the wall.

he bent down, his head resting on your shoulder as he rocked into you, stretching you out and making you feel everything. the ears were almost falling off your head but you readjusted them, whining into the pillow.

he rocked into you again, but held himself against you, grunting as he felt your legs shake. you both came at the same time and he just sighed when he pulled out, watching it drip down your legs. he leant down to kiss your shoulder before he went to grab a towel and clean you up. he was so kind with his aftercare, being so soft and gentle with you.

you we're practically knocked right out after that, sleep hitting you like a ton of bricks as you lay against his chest once he got back into bed. he made sure to take the ears off this time, kissing your forehead as he fell asleep himself.

Here’s how Figment can still win | updating the attraction

I envy those who got to experience the ride in its original form with dream finder and all, I really do. I remember being a kid In the early 2000s and my grandpa was excited to take us on it as it was his favorite ride, only to find it completely different. However, what you might not expect me to say is that I don’t think the current iteration of journey into imagination is bad! Do I think it lives up to the original? No, but Dr.Channing is decent and the concept is quite cute.

The problem is this iteration is a clear patch job done nearly 20 years ago and they’ve let it sit ever since. This sucks. Especially considering Disney and Epcot clearly realize how much pull Figment has as a character, people adore this purple dragon years after his debut (remember the popcorn bucket?). They’ll slap him on anything and everything for festivals… but his ride? Actual non festival attraction related merch? You get a shirt or two if you’re lucky! When I went recently there was a single shelf reserved for figment related items. A single shelf in a decently sized gift shop that was mainly filled with the same Toy Story summer line they overestimated in popularity. (I’ve never seen anyone buy or have something from this line). The state it’s in is sad, especially considering Disney pulls on figments popularity! He’s getting a meet and greet again so can we finally update the attraction! … I’ve also heard rumor of the rainbow tunnel returning….

My solutions-

As much as I wish it could, I don’t know if we’ll get the dream finder version of the ride back, but here’s my idea on how to update the ride with the storyline we do have. It’s a cute concept but they’re not doing it to the best it can be.

1. Make it longer! To say they shortened journey into imagination is a understatement, I have no idea what they’re using half of the building for. Make it longer- maybe do go into the smell and taste labs. Make some more elaborate scenes- show that chaos figment has brought to the institue! One of the best gags is in the queue and the poor secretary of Dr.Channing answering the phone every few seconds - give me that energy! Give me… imagination running wild! That’s literally the storyline with figment but he feels so… constrained? Lack of space as it’s so short.

2. 2D figment. I beg of you. I know when the ride was redone 3D animation was new and all the rage but… I’m sorry 3D figment is terrifying and super dated. Soft, cuddly and cute 2D figment is timeless. It wouldn’t be that hard to go over the same scenes just with a drawn model instead, this is a quick fix to Rodger rabbit it.

3. More characters. I’m not even asking for animatronics but you need to give us something more. Again, that secretary is just a gag but its such a good show of story we don’t get on the actual attraction. A fun idea you could do is have “Dean Finder” come out and be the only one to be able to calm figment down/understand him? Sort of nod to the OG besides just a door THEN they open Channings mind to imagination as something to be free. This equally lengthens the attraction.

4. It just makes me sad as they have a really good concept here and ERIC FLIPPING IDLE but don’t utilize such a great comedic actor to the potential I know they could have. Another thing I’d request is the return of a good imageworks that’s not 99% photo opportunities with random characters not seen anywhere else. Additionally if you don’t want to make a lot of merch for the ride that’s fine… make the gift shop smaller, which shouldn’t be a issue if you make the ride longer again.

It’s fascinating to me that Disney consistently lets such a beloved attraction down despite using it for merch and festivals. It’s also fascinating that despite getting a whole makeover the park is leaning into a retro futurism feel and a “Epcot center” vibe (this is a good thing). But again ignores this ride- It’d be costly, sure, what isn’t, but I think it’d be worth giving just a bit of attention.

Was a bit worried hearing the book described as “he explains everything/over explains XYZ” expecting the sewer scene from les mis levels of dragging on… no actually, thus far it’s actually a very enjoyable writing style. A mix of nice prose but also so so clear this man is into science.

Truly marks end of an era for Epcot :( This store has SO much character and theming, it embodied the vibes of Future World! The giant mickey wand clock thing on the ceiling was so cool as a kid! You truly felt like you were immersed. NOW uggg, it was literally replaced by the most generic ass boring sterile gift shop that has no theming whatsoever. It literally looks like a mall. It makes me so freaking mad and sad. People don't go to freaking Disney for sophistication and clean lines, oh my gosh
