thinking about how karma will get you in this life whether you run from it or not.

I'm watching a beloved grandparent suffer for the pain they've caused others all their life despite being a great friend and employer to many, and good parent (debatable but they tried their best). their crime was hurting their spouse. and now they're paying for it with blood when they've been healthy all their life.

the unjust part imo can be that it affects those you love when the crime was yours. they pay for your sins, one way or another.

thinking about how karma and death are the equalisers for us all.
