you didn’t specify which so like i pulled up my book of african and caribbean myths & legends

my number one fave i never talk about is told amongst the yoruba people in nigeria (not yoruba but that's my country...), togo & benin (west african countries! africa is not a country. as a disclaimer). it’s a creation myth. a lot happens in it but the background is there’s deities in the sky—orishas. they’re ruled by their father and creator, olorun, who is known as their father, the sky god. it’s the magical story of how obatala (the orisha of creativity and inner peace, a very deep thinker, always solving problems and coming up with ideas) created the earth, the first people and the first ancient city, ife (in nigeria!!!). even though all of the orishas have magical powers to create wonderful things, their plans do not always work out as expected. my favorite orisha in this myth is obatala's son, ogun, the blacksmith. he’s so funny. just wants to work in his forge on his weapons and doesn’t like to be disturbed. they need to free him.

shoutout to eurydice and orpheus. they make me cry.

3rd is another african myth. not sorry. it's a creation story about the buganda people of uganda (in east africa, for all you westerners who know nothing about africa). it’s about how death came into the world, and above all it's a love story between kintu and nambi. in this version, kintu is the first man to be created on earth. he meets and falls in love with the only daughter of the sky god (gulu), named nambi. he is set several impossible challenges to prove he is worthy to marry her. they're impossible but of course he figures it out because he loves her and she loves him. also he cheats, because of course. think eros and psyche. i love nambi. she’s described as fiery and fearless. & especially i adore the lack of eurocentric ideas of beauty. dark bodies and strong arms being used to describe all of gulu's children indiscriminately to show their godliness. kintu's skin being as dark as midnight and his hair twisted and curled into tight knots around his head. gorgeous bronzed skin and black eyes that flash with flecks of amber being nambi's description. and all these things are positive and attractive...ANYWAY how death comes into the world is arguably the least important part of this imo but if you care it's because her brother walambe follows her to live on earth cause he follows her everywhere. and also he's death.

to be boring; the odyssey! it's on my to-read list for sure it's so fun. i lovee odysseus and his lying trickster debatably a good person swag.

have to represent my boy reuben from christian mythology. oldest brother who failed to save his youngest-minus-one little brother from being sold into slavery? love him. mwah.

Am I dreaming? Words cannot express how much gratitude and joy this year’s @the.teashow has bathed me in. Not only did I win such a prestigious award but I’m also the first Black Trans Performer to win it and pave the way for future generations of Ebony Baddies. To be officially recognized for my work means so much to me and it’s given me even more drive to continue improving my brand and being the best adult entertainer I can be. The doors that have just opened for EROS ORISHA are endless, and I intend to explore as many as I can to keep living my P★RNSTAR DREAM LIFE!

I used Syncretism on Eros and Olokun then used Oversoul Guard with Eros to get my Wings and all of this information is being showed to me. Street Football helped me reached Divinity now I am focused on FIFA World Cup 2030. I have successfully made the World Cup into a Shaman Festival; I do not regret the path. Shaman King is the most important Anime in my life.

EL TABACO

El humo del tabaco es un factor atrayente para las espiritualidades sean estas oscuras o de luz.

Se emplea para brujear como se dice coloquialmente, p...ero el empleo del tabaco es un don que se debe desarrollar para aprender a manejarlo desde su selección, manipulación, conjurarlo o rezarlo, encenderlo, fumárselo, soplar el humo, tragarse o no la saliva, interpretarlo o no y finalmente entregarlo. El tabaco en si es un secreto que ofrece diversos

conocimientos muchos con una profundidad inimaginable.

El tabaco no es un elemento con raíces en el África sino que fue adoptado por los negros Africanos a su llegada a Cuba, al Caribe, a las Américas.

El tabaco, en el Palo Monte se adopto en Cuba desde donde fue incluido en las prácticas religiosas del culto al Palo Monte por los Congós Criollos en la época de la trata de negros, hoy día el tabaco es un elemento fundamental para trabajar el palo y no solo en el palo se emplea el tabaco, como bien sabemos también se utiliza para algunos Orishas, como: Eleggua, Oggún, Oshossi, al igual que se emplea en la práctica del espiritismo.

Normalmente el tabaco en el palo, no se utiliza para interpretar la ceniza y el humo que genera el tabaco, tampoco la caída del tabaco cuando se arroja al suelo, sin embargo los ganguleros (paleros) que también son espiritistas aprovechan lo aprendido en el espiritismo para interpretar el tabaco en el palo, porque como expliqué más arriba lo de interpretar el tabaco es cosa del espiritismo, claro que los ganguleros más radicales dirían que de ninguna manera se debe interpretar el tabaco en el palo pero eso es más un celo de ellos por no saber cómo hacerlo ósea como interpretarlo, ya que en todo tabaco que se rece que se conjure, antes de prenderlo para fumarlo siempre va a traer espiritualidades en especial las espiritualidades de la persona que lo está rezando o para quien lo está rezando sean estos entidades de luz, oscuras, cuadro guía espiritual, mpungos, deidades, santos, etc. El interpretar un tabaco en el plano religioso genera un ventaja considerable sobre otros religiosos que no saben hacerlo para emplearlo como medio de consulta, pero ojo,el interpretar un tabaco no es cosa de leerse un manual.

El interpretar las cenizas y humo del tabaco es un don que te otorgan tus espiritualidades, tus muertos, tu cuadro guía espiritual, si la persona no tiene una buena conexión con los muertos nunca podrá usar el tabaco como medio de consulta ya que no es una cuestión leer un manual, me disculpan los espiritistas que están acostumbrados a interpretar el tabaco siguiendo un manual “Eso es engañarse así mismos" Si tus muertos (espiritualidades sean estas oscuras o de luz) no te dan la visión para ver lo que muestran en las cenizas y humo del tabaco no podrás interpretarlo.

El tabaco en el palo monte regularmente se emplea para halar al nfumbe, deidad, nkisi, muerto, espiritualidad o como sea que lo quieran llamar, también se utiliza para dar fuerzas a toda clase de nzaras (obras), pedir permisos, dar conocimiento, sirve como depurativo, para baños, para sahumerios, para halar al muerto, en fin, el tabaco en si es un secreto inmensamente universal que cada día conocemos cosas nuevas de él.

Muchas sorpresas y diversión en la Navidad de TVE

Reencuentros, diversión, sorpresas… RTVE prepara una Navidad para todos en la que la música, el humor, la solidaridad y el cine serán grandes protagonistas. Donde la emoción te lleve es el claim que dibuja una programación especial pensada para que los espectadores disfruten en familia de las citas imprescindibles de estas fiestas. Roberto Leal, Anne Igartiburu, Elena S. Sánchez, José Mota, los concursantes de Operación Triunfo… y numerosos artistas nacionales e internacionales se volcarán para ofrecer, un año más, la mejor oferta televisiva de la Navidad.

El Sorteo de la Lotería de Navidad desde el Teatro Real indicará el comienzo ‘oficial’ de las fiestas el 22 de diciembre. Repite el terceto de lujo del pasado año: Sandra Daviú, Blanca Benlloch y Diego Burbano. La 1 y TVE Internacional emitirán en directo el sorteo desde las 8.00 horas. Éxito de audiencia año tras año, en 2017 reunió a dos millones de espectadores (44,7%). A continuación, especial en directo de La mañana hasta las 14.30 horas, con María Casado y Fernando Timón, con conexiones con los lugares agraciados y los premiados.

Cita imprescindible con Telepasión, que este año se convierte en La gran cena para rodar una tvmovie de ficción en la que Elena S. Sánchez es la protagonista de un divertido equívoco navideño lleno de sorpresas, junto al actor cómico Juanma Cifuentes. Una fantástica combinación de ficción y música con espectaculares números musicales y más de 80 presentadores y actores de los programas y series más populares de TVE.

La música será una de las grandes protagonistas de la Navidad de TVE. La 1 emitirá tres especiales musicales con muchos de los artistas más destacados de nuestro país. Noche de encuentros reunirá a Niña Pastori, Ana Belén, Manolo García, Ana Torroja, Rozalén, Beatriz Luengo, Orishas, India Martínez, Abel Pintos, Amaral, Kany García, Melendi, Amaral, Pastora Soler y Vanesa Martín.

Además, Manuel Carrasco y Rosana serán otras dos de las grandes estrellas navideñas. El artista onubense, que acaba de publicar La cruz del mapa y que lleva más de 15 años sobre los escenarios, se reunirá con artistas como Bebe, David Bisbal, Pablo Alborán, Malú, Juanes, Ara Malikian y el Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, Nach y Javier Ruibal para ofrecer un concierto irrepetible. Por su parte, la cantautora de Lanzarote estará muy bien acompañada en Rosana y amigos por Ximena Sariñana, Ketama, Sofía Ellar, Pau Donés, Pastora Soler, Blas Cantó, Beret, Bebe, Arkano y Ana Guerra.

Operación Triunfo 2018 se viste de Navidad en un especial con Roberto Leal que reunirá a los finalistas de esta edición –Natalia, Famous, Alba, Sabela y Julia–, con los de 2017. Los concursantes de este año cantarán una de las canciones que han interpretado durante el talent muy bien acompañados… Además, los 16 cantantes se juntarán de nuevo para interpretar su himno Somos y Buenas noches. Por su parte, regresarán al plató de OT los finalistas de la pasada edición: Amaia, Aitana, Alfred y Ana Guerra –Míriam ofrece un concierto ese día– presentarán sus singles ante el público que les vio nacer como artistas.

Por 7º año consecutivo, RTVE se suma el 28 de diciembre a la causa de la Fundación Inocente, Inocente. En esta ocasión para ayudar a los niños con discapacidad física, intelectual y sensorial. Anne Igartiburu, Juanma Iturriaga, Jacob Petrus y Marta Solano están al frente de esta cita solidaria. Nuevos famosos ‘inocentes’, y actuaciones en plató de artistas como Malú, Adrián o Luz Casal, formarán parte de esta gala que mostrará también cómo incluso uno de los presentadores ha caído en las redes de programa: Iturriaga. Junto a él, otros “inocentes” Koke, Ana Guerra, Eduardo Noriega, Juanma Iturriaga, Saul Craviotto, Maggie Civantos y Jaime Nava.

Siete horas con Mariano, El inimitable, Okupas en la Moncloa e Historia de la Munda son los cuatro Retratos salvajes que propone José Mota para despedir 2018. Cuatro historias que siguen la línea de la premiada película Relatos salvajes y que recorrerán la actualidad del año con el particular humor de Mota. El año pasado reunió a más de 4,8 millones de espectadores (32,9%). Más de una veintena de cameos –Paula Prendes, Pepe Navarro, Juan Carlos Rivero, Jesús Álvarez, Ignatius Ferray, Santiago Segura, Ana Arias, Millán Salcedo, Juan José Ballesta… – en este especial que contará también con divertidos números musicales.

Dos de los rostros más queridos por los espectadores se pondrán al frente de las campanadas: Anne Igartiburu y Roberto Leal. El presentador andaluz se estrena en la Puerta del Sol de Madrid junto a toda una especialista, que cumplirá 14 años consecutivos en esta cita. Las campanadas de 2017 de TVE fueron, un año más, las más vistas, con más de 6,7 millones de espectadores (36,7%). El minuto de las campanadas reunió a 8.539.000 espectadores y 44,4%.

Una hora más tarde será la comunidad canaria la encargada de despedir 2018, de la mano de la cantante Ruth Lorenzo y Roberto Herrera desde Tenerife. En Madrid, en la Puerta del Sol, estará Raquel Falcón.

La 1 despedirá 2018 y recibirá el nuevo año con una de las parejas más divertidas y cómplices: Roberto Leal y Elena S. Sánchez. Ellos estarán al frente de ¡Feliz 2019!, un programa que contará con espectaculares números visuales, magia, mucho humor… y los mejores artistas del panorama nacional e internacional como Eleni Foureira, Eros Ramazzotti, Paulina Rubio, Vanesa Martín, Pablo Alborán, Álvaro Soler, Carlos Baute y Marta Sánchez, Pablo López y Míriam, Aitana y Ana Guerra, Lola Indigo, Rozalén, Luz Casal, Blas Cantó, Anitta, Pastora Soler, Ketama, Pitingo, Ruth Lorenzo, Diana Navarro, Beatriz Luengo, Café Quijano, Bebe… entre otros muchos.

Jacob Petrus y Marta Solano vuelven a reunirse en la noche más mágica del año: la Noche de Reyes. Ambos narrarán el desfile de carrozas de la Cabalgata de Reyes por las calles de Madrid, horas antes de que los Reyes Magos repartan regalos por los hogares españoles.

Torres en la cocina también celebrará la Navidad con nuevas recetas e invitados especiales, que estrenan este lunes con el encendido de su árbol de Navidad.

La 1 tiene preparado el mejor cine para disfrutar en familia y con toda la familia. Vaiana, Mascotas, Los Pitufos. La aldea escondida y Buscando a Dory harán las delicias de los más pequeños.

Cachitos... ofrecerá el 25 de diciembre Cachitos bis, un resumen con lo mejor de la temporada. Y el 31, a partir de las 23.00 horas, con Virginia Díaz, El cabaret de hierro y cromo, una previa de las Campanadas con actuaciones grabadas en directo en la sala El siglo del Mercantic de Sant Cugat del Vallès, ambientada como un cabaret, con actuaciones de grupos como La Casa Azul, The Refrescos, Los Punsetes y Dorian. Y tras las Campanadas, un resumen de tres horas con las mejores mejores actuaciones del archivo musical de RTVE.

Christmas with DJ Ritu at London’s Southbank. “A World In London” We were very lucky to be invited to DJ Ritu’s Show ” A World In London” on Resonance FM. We had a great time. Artist Alban Low also sketched us as we sang. A few days later we performed at the Clore Ballroom at London’s Southbank. It was great fun. Here are some photos:

The Last Gig of the Year was the Samsung Promotion for Gear 3 Promoting Health and Diversity with the World Music Choir.

About The Gig

“Just got home from a super Cool gig. We were singing on a raised stage underneath the Eros statue in Piccadilly Circus, part of a Samsung Promotion emphasising the health benefits of singing and celebrating of diversity. The team were really blown away by us and we got lots of good feedback. We wore these watches which measure your heartbeat, calorie expenditure and arm movements. All of that data was converted into visual sound waves and projected onto a screen below us! It was probably one of the most interesting gigs we have done. Plus the energy was super interesting; ( in metaphysical terms). singing to Orisha in that very full on and famous landmark” My Status on the 18th December:
