In love with this camping spot I found! I call it my Oasis.

Okay this may not be an official camping spot, and it may not have any services except water, but that is usually one more service than I usually have. It’s on the outskirts of a village, Fuente Del Pino, which has a population of 125 people. It was quiet, peaceful and in the morning when I waved at a local in a pick up truck driving by, he hung out his window, honked, gave me a big smile and waved at me like we were friends. I knew today was going to be a GOOD DAY!

I really like Spanish people. They are super warm and always smile back at me. It makes me feel welcome in their country. It’s also pretty cute when they speak Spanish immediately to me upon meeting. Like awww, you guys see no borders. You think I am one of you and can speak Spanish. Nope, my Spanish extends to about Me gusta el gato negro, Bien hecho, and buen trabajo. I’m trying though

Se titula:Heridas del pasado

Noches en vela pensando en todo

Velatorios en vida

Vidas que se desquebrajan paso a paso

Pasos grabados en la arena borrados por decenas de llantos

Cientos de pájaros que perdieron el canto

Sueños trasformados en pesadillas en vida

Toda una vida llena de retos a plomo o muerte

Miles de desafíos donde salí derrotado

Tengo miedo

La oscuridad se apoderó de mi mente

No encuentro interruptor en mis adentros

Me he perdido dentro de mis propios miedos

Mis metas desaparecieron en un laberinto sin salida

Me levante una noche más empapado

Ese escalofrió recorre mi cuerpo mientras sigo solo

Solo encerrado en mi cuarto

Las esquinas de mi habitación son mi nueva trinchera en esta guerra contra mí mismo

Finalmente desperté

Abrí los ojos y contemple que todo fue un mal sueño

Que tengo fuerza y no sigo empotrado en una cama

Las cicatrices han cerrado mis puntos débiles

Ya no entraran más miedos en mi

Por fin estoy curado
