I will always support and recommend Escaped Audios’ work.
However, everytime I watch one of his videos, I look like Brittany Broski trying kombucha for the first time.

Yes, sexist writing does lead to bad writing for male characters.
No, that doesn't make it less sexist.

personally thriving on this revival of 2000s nostalgia. i can finally participate in the trends i saw on grownup girls that i so admired. like choker necklaces, and chunky platforms (l.e.i. clogs were my fave), “brazilian” cut panties, thin eyebrows and overlined lips, etc.

In light of increasing anti-trans and anti-abortion laws in the United States, I am once again humbly requesting you inform yourself about jury nullification, your ability as a juror to vote against convicting people being prosecuted under unjust laws. Nullification was instrumental in legalizing abortion in Canada - it informed jurors can use it to help protect healthcare workers and protesters in the US, too.

"What will you do without new shows" I haven't watched a mainstream television show as it released in years. I'm catching up on shows my parents liked in the 90s. I'm listening to fiction podcasts with 5 fans. I'm playing a video game the creators want you to pirate. I'm watching a minecraft roleplay. I may not know what I'm gonna do but I'm sure as hell not gonna be a fuckin scab babygirl.

can i just say the weird standard people try and hold queer romcoms(and queer media but) in general is so weird
its always "its too juvenile" and "its too wholesome" but then its "this is too sexualised" and apparently queer ppl having sex scenes is automatically "fetishizing". Always "too corny" "too angsty" and dont get me started on people who act like something has to be bad representation just because they didn't like it
"its cringey" it is a fucking romcom bro. like half of the appeal of a romcom is the kinda cringey fun of it all . not your thing? fine go watch something that is,not being the audience for something is fine but god stop acting like one romcom is gonna dismantle the movement for queer rights.

Okay, real advice for newcomers who to participate in the Tumblr social sphere?
Any time one of your posts begins to get even a tiny bit of traction, go through the notes and reblog the most entertaining response.
Don’t feel the need to remark on it; you can build on it if it’s the sort of thing that invites a back-and-forth exchange, but otherwise let it stand.
The key to meeting people and making friends on this site is the willingness to let other people be funnier than you on your own post.

i don't like it when someone is easy to reach. when someone is open to everyone, when literally anyone can get their attention. it is a question of values and principles not to be open to everyone and not to have the need for everyone's attention. people who are easily available won't value soulful connections.

Do you go by it/its exclusively now? Do you want your wikipedia page to be updated?
the wikipedia article is partially edit protected because people keep trying to edit the pronouns in it without checking either the talk page, the page history or at the very least the linked references on the footnote regarding my pronouns. i have to tell people on here not to edit the pronouns in the article almost every single month and half the time someone sees me asking not to go change them as some sort of challenge and immediately goes to edit the article. please just don't.
