Honesty I have like 6 new paintings lined up in qq. Like, guys, am I insane? Please tell me what is the realistic time limit to upload new fanart?
I'm sick at home so no work, yet I'm still riding this inspiration train like there is no tomorrow (as long as I am able to keep my coughing under control at least).
Can I engulf you all in an endless stream of artworks of the Sad egg husband??? Am I doing too much emotional damage to you all? ( ; _ ; ) I don't know anymore.
Anyway enjoy a little WIP of my lovely messy desk situation!
I have been wanting to invest in a tablet and start my digital drawing journey. But nothing can beat the absolute joy ink stained hands and the feeling of a brush on paper brings me.
re-reading that one ulquiorra short story in bleach unmasked and it's like. he really is the poorest little meow meow in some ways because you'll see him say the wildest, most depressing things, trying to pass them off as absolute truth and fact, but he's such a cunt about it that any and all sympathy you feel for him is overpowered by the urge to slap him
The essence of love lies in its remarkable ability to discover beauty even amidst the depths of pain. It is a profound connection that transcends hardships and reveals the profound strength of the human spirit. Love's unwavering gaze finds the silver lining in every dark cloud, weaving hope and compassion into the fabric of our lives. Through the trials and tribulations, love becomes a guiding light, illuminating the path towards healing and growth. Embracing both joy and sorrow, love teaches us to cherish every moment, as each experience enriches the tapestry of our shared journey. It is in the face of adversity that love's true essence is revealed, binding hearts together with an unbreakable bond, for it is through pain that we truly learn the transformative power of love.
[Thanks to @jhaernyl whom I can always count on sharing any picture that makes you think, "huh ... Yeah Law needs to make out with that dude."]
I'm aware of what this scene is, but I am in love with Zoro's facial expression (and his dedication to even buying a shirt that looks like it is somehow three sword style?) so very much. Not just because then lovely exposed throat, earrings that make me want to tug them *just to see what happens* or because of my god look at that puppy dog expression. I'm aware he could rip out my throat, I still want to pet him.
I can't tell if he's confused or he's thinking, "Wonder how many times I could cut it up before it's no longer sliceable?"
Like Nami's expression says they're staring at something horrifying.
Zoro's says "Huh, so that's what a shichibukai looks like."
So in the Hero’s Journey there are two moments of Death and Rebirth: the Ordeal and the Resurrection
And I was freakin DELIGHTED to see that Blue Beetle (2023) included LITERAL death and rebirth during the Ordeal and METAPHORICAL death and rebirth during the Resurrection
Explanation in the tags to avoid spoilers but this movie was freakin great, very Hero’s Journey indeed
It's in the entire trans community's best interest to destigmatize detransition.

Is it OK if I give you a list of the people I blame the most for Anne Boleyn's death and for Elizabeth growing up without a mother?
1) Henry VIII himself.
2) Cromwell.
3) The Seymour Family.
4) Chaupys.
5) The Swordsman.
It says something that Henry had effed big time when I hate the executioner less than Henry, Cromwell and the Seymours. Those people infuriate me to no end.
That's not so unpopular of an opinion, I think. The executioner was just doing his job, he wasn't even on the jury which condemned her, arguably he's the least complicit in her destruction and death, really.
Also, this has always lent to sympathy for him as a figure:
"The officer [executioner] was assuredly distraught and troubled by the execution, [yet] [forced] himself to fulfill his duty, aiming the final blow of the sword [...]" The story of the death of Anne Boleyn : a poem by Lancelot de Carle, JoAnn DellaNeva (Translator, Editor, Writer of added commentary)
