sth ab victor and ethan's friendship just Gets me. most adults victor has been around in fromville either find him strange and act accordingly, or patronize him, or tiptoe around him. but ethan, being a child, doesn't exactly have the capacity for any of that, or the capacity to be anything else But a child. and that's why it works. it allows victor to remain unsuspicious and dare i say unguarded, which in turn allows for a bond to form between them
ethan, too, can (as i said) only view the world from a child's lenses, and certain behaviors/tendencies of victor's that a regular person would definitely flag as Strange or Bizarre or Unsettling (which we know are due to trauma but) he just... doesn't really pay much mind to. hence, victor has the luxury of adjusting to ethan's company and the concept of having a friend without risking losing the very same due to anything he might do or feel during this adjustment period
Say what you want about The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals and Black Friday but Nerdy Prudes Must Die is truly the darkest timeline because it doesn't feature Peanuts the Hatchetfield Pocket Squirrel™️
I’m sorry the base was too perfect I had to also it was really fun drawing all the hatchetfeild characters (also this was my first time properly drawing Ted to be posted I think??? Idk I’m not happy with it I’m sorry teddy boy I’ll do u better next time <\\3)
The Zacharie/Clover version of this episode is completed and will be added in for you guys to try out in the DLC build once the last bit of e12 variants are coded in. And Ethan/Sophie's version is being written feat. new background art of a location that definitely doesn't exist in real life >:3
