HIS HISTORY - Antione and Etienne grew up as friends, as they were born and raised in a neighboring neighborhood. They even attended the same schools to gain the similar education, as their family was highly well off and wanted the best for their sons. 

On a summer night of 1907, they attended a Gracey Manor grand party together. Although neither of them had the idea in mind that they were there to find the affections of a woman, it would turn into such anyway. As Madame Leota, the Gracey medium guest, approached them and asked for a dance, she whispered dirty little lies to place doubt in the both men’s minds just for fun. 

This would lead to both men having a squabble, which ended in a duel involving guns. Both fired, both were fatally wounded and died on property.

PRESENT DAY - Both Antione and Etienne can be seen together in the ballroom, mostly seemingly lost and watching a party that was only visible under a full moon light that would filter through the floor to ceiling windows. They both greet guests who enter the ballroom out of curiosity, or on a tour being lead by the Ghost Host. Sometimes Etienne can be seen painting the portraits that guests see on the walls of the mansion, despite them already being painted.

Do you have any headcannons for the Shadow Pianist?

Omg! Matter a fact I do lmao, one of my favorites after all hehe, lot of it is brainrot but stillll

I hc his name to be "Charlie Baroketch", I don't really know why, his last name- I took that from the Ghost Gallery iteration of him but idk where 'Charlie' came from, I just liked it

I (dis)like to beleive he was murdered by Constance because he found her like- Right after she killed one of her husbands and because he was a witness he had to go too, she just fucked up and hit his face tho because he panicked, so as a haunt he has just a wound all the way across his face that goes over one of his eyes

Speaking of that- I also think he can materialize into a visible haunt like the rest, he just doesn't do it that often because he feels comfortable as a shadow(And safe)

That Non-Binary flag in my most recent drawings of him is like, half a joke, referring to the fact he is basically just a shadow he can be perceived however he likes(And also the fact the Shadow Pianist is female in one continuity)

Him and Emily(The Beating Heart bride) get along fairly well, he was scared of her at first because he mistook her for Constance(brides and all that) but now she's kinda like a sister to him

IDK if this counts as a hc but I randomly started shipping him with Etienne Lalaurie(One of the duelists, specifically the one in black & red to how I deemed to name them) thanks to my girlfriend and like- Yeah sure that's a thing now lol

I have very vivid imagery of this man having a panic attack almost because when he first arrived in the mansion he remembered he was a pianist but he could NOT remember how to play the piano, like he was actually crying

I have more somewhere but like- This is everything that I remember rn and like- Yeah most of these kinda just pop up in the moment and all but I hope these suffice hhehes

Ride version if them they're not related, I can't see them as brothers jdhdjdhd and they aren't to ME unless stated in the media I'm looking at(Like the 2023 film) but in general I default to friends who went bitter

I use the names Etienne Lalaurie(Duelist on the left) and Antione Germaine(Duelist on the right) because those were the first names I ever saw used for them and they stuck

I imagined both duelists trying to cheat during the duel, so they both shot at the count of 7 instead of 10 but they both still died, lmao

Etienne got shot in the heart, and Antione got shot in the side, Etienne died first, so ig Antione technically won, but eh

Not much a hc, but me shipping the Shadow Pianist with the duelists was supposed to be a one off joke but uh- Well it ended up like all the other things I ship as a joke hdbdj

[A] «Sempre lo stesso.» Certo che ha colto il riferimento al festival, ma attende che sia Margot a trarre le sue conclusioni.

[M] «Sempre lo stesso?» è evidentemente confusa, in un primo momento, fin quando non le spunta, però, un sorriso divertito, che le fa lasciare la sua posizione nel portare la destra alla fronte «Mi stai dicendo che dopo che se ne è andato con quella, lasciandoti con me» ed inarca un sopracciglio, perchè Etienne sapeva fin troppo bene con chi l`aveva lasciata «Gli sei pure corsa dietro?» insomma, Aliz, il tuo apparente caratterino ci ha proprio deluse.

[A] «Io non corro dietro nessuno.» Ci tiene a specificare, arcuando di poco il busto verso di lei. Ma giusto qualche centimetro, mentre la squadra, mantenendo pur sempre una certa distanza di sicurezza. «Che fosse con quella ragazza a me non interessa minimamente.» Ovviamente su questo punto finge magistralmente. Ritorna col busto contro lo schienale della sedia, senza però staccare lo sguardo da lei. «Stiamo insieme.» Le offre quell’informazione con una semplicità disarmante, mentre la osserva, quasi curiosa di coglierne la reazione.

[M] «e a te non interessa minimamente?» fa fatica a crederci, di certo. E lo sguardo non viene minimamente distolto, intenzionalmente, mentre ad entrambe viene servito il proprio whisky. E neanche lo ringrazia, stranamente, il barista, perchè adesso è concentrata su altro, sull`espressione della rossa, mentre prende il suo bicchiere nel portarselo alle labbra che le fa un po` storcere il naso per il sapore forte. «Anche se non è proprio tutta colpa tua» ammette «LaLaurie non è esattamente furbo, a lasciare chissà dove una Feherrozsa e andarsene in giro con una qualunque» ti sta forse dicendo che lei, al suo posto, non lo farebbe? Probabilmente si dato che lo sguardo finisce, dinuovo, forse un po` troppo in basso, mentre fa un altro sorso «sai, quasi si addirebbe al tuo carattere» sollevando di poco il bicchiere e tornando a guardarla negli occhi «se non fosse per questo episodio» sfida lanciata?

[A] «Sminuirlo dinanzi a me non è una mossa intelligente.» La avverte, con un sorriso tanto divertito quanto lo sguardo risulta tagliente e minaccioso. Qualunque cosa lei creda di fare, però, dicendole quelle cose, pare confonderla alquanto. «Provi a lusingarmi?» Stavolta il tono ha perso la sua sfacciataggine, tinto solo di malcelata curiosità. La lascia guardare dove vuole, senza preoccuparsi. «Stai dicendo che tu non m’avresti lasciata?» Lasciata alla festa con il suo ex per andare via con una ragazza. Ironic, isn’t it? Non è stata lei a mollarla a scuola? «Ah sì?» Dovrebbe addirsi al suo carattere? E perché? La osserva, un pochetto più docile, mentre sorseggia il whisky.

[M] «Non lo sto mica sminuendo» e invece sì «posso semplicemente pensare che sia uno stupido, a comportarsi così?» il terzo sorso non la porta alla smorfia, abituandosi piano al sapore forte «lo sono stata anch`io» ammette sommessamente, per poi lasciarsi scappare un sorriso riguardo le lusinghe «può darsi» accompagnato da un`alzata di spalle «o può darsi che sia solo sincera» ti conviene fidarti, Aliz? E il divertimento che le tinge lo sguardo, che pure non si smuove, è palpabile successivamente «no, non l`avrei fatto» afferma convinta «non adesso» non dopo quattro anni, vuole intendere «ma qualcosa mi dice che non smetterai di rinfacciarmelo per un bel po`» e la mano tornerebbe a sfiorare quella dell`altra, se non venise ritratta, per poi poggiarsi sopra ma senza stringerla «potrei farmi perdonare in qualche modo o... almeno avere uno sconto sulla pena per buona condotta?» abbastanza interpretabile, come domanda. Un po` meno l`espressione maliziosa degli occhi uniti all`interrogativo sopracciglio inarcato.

[A] Che lei lo stia sminuendo o meno « Non parlare di lui. » Non parlare di lui, non parlare con lui, non parlare per lui e non credere di sapere quel che ha fatto con lei. Però resta così, un po’ in stand-by fra le mani e la capacità della ragazza. Ma è solo quando la ragazza accenna ad “uno sconto sulla pena per buona condotta” che riesce a svincolarsi da quella sorta di controllo. Dei movimenti veloci, quelli delle mani della ragazza. Quella che è idealmente ancora posata sulla guancia di Margot viene ritratta, mentre quella libera fende l’aria, con uno scatto rapido che è sicuramente non umano, uno dei pochi lasciti di Fabian Feherrozsa. La mano libera fende l’aria e, se riuscisse, schiaffeggerebbe con ben poca riverenza la guancia della francese. « Sei una grandissima puttana. »
