Evgeny Kissin - Pianist - This album of Chopin's music is probably one of the best performances of The Four Ballads...
Evgeny Igorevich Kissin  (born 10 October 1971) is a Russian-born concert pianist and composer. He became a British citizen in 2002 and an Israeli citizen in 2013. He first came to international fame as a child prodigy. He has a wide repertoire and is especially known for his interpretations of the works of the Romantic era, particularly those of Franz Schubert, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Ludwig van Beethoven. He is commonly viewed as a great successor of the Russian piano school because of the depth, lyricism and poetic quality of his interpretations.

just saw for the first time the vid of evgeny kissin playing liebestraum on Liszt's piano. I will need twelve full business months. thats two old lovers meeting again. ........................and its not even the sexy eroticized liebestraum kissin played as a young man.... its so gentle and mature....to be in love across time seeking one another's hands… to feel his touch only with an instrument to act as your divining rod...to be that old instrument itself...….

Third piece of “Blue Awareness” serie.
It’s IMPORTANT to mention that this serie is meant to be watched while listening: Prokofiev, Piano Concert number 3, third movement. Recommended versions: Evgeny Kissin, with Philarmonia Orchestra and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy. Also Lang Lang version with Simon Rattle is outstanding (within the modern versions).

what are you currently playing on the piano? What piece have you always wanted to play?
apart from carrots, what vegetables do you grow?
c beloved huehuehue
this is the current song i'm learning, love's sorrow arranged by rachmaninov. it is beautiful and it is giving me a lot of problems because it is unfortunately rachmaninov. if you notice the song played to perfection is 4:35 long. i am... not playing it in four minutes that's for sure lol. a work in progress.
the piece i've always wanted to play is of course la campanella by listz. the piano piece. listen to this version by evgeny kissin which i like best, but @ivettel ames might have different suggestions kekekeke! it is very very very far from me at the moment because i took a long ass time off classical music and i'm slowly finding my way back to it. huehuehue. it'll be awhile before i dare attempt this piece. but i hope i will one day.
oh my god you're asking about my vegetables i'm about to become an unskippable cutscene
look at my gooseberries and cherry tomatoes! look at my zucchini! the most perfectest zucchini ever! look at my silly looking garlic! look at my chilis that are so shiny and glossy and way too spicy for me! and look at the lil ladybug hanging out on my carrot stems!

i'm not good at this by any means i usually just throw seeds into the ground and call it a day but you know what i've learned? things just wanna grow.
