ok so it's Margaret "Mars" Bailey, he/they/she, who's got some sort of ability to see into alternate realities or through the fabric of reality (something something you get it) who i've had for a while. My wifehusband. so smart and gifted but doesn't know it bc the VISIONS OF DOOM have kinda ruined everything for him and estranged them from their folks.

and then Aurelius "Arlo" Clemente Francisco, he/???, is my new guy. he's the son of two wacky artists (hence the fucking ancient roman name) who are paying for their kid to joy-ride around with his band on a "tour" (cough cough not a tour) where he meets Mars, falls kinda head over heels, and decides to help them figure out what's going on in their brain. he's emotionally inarticulate and very stupid but would kill for a bandmate or for Mars so its ok

and then something happens!!! idk!!! gotta brainstorm

Raylan and arlo’s relationship always and will forever have me climbing the walls. (Specifically in s4)

The way raylan so confidently and so easily tells arlo he’s probably gonna get murdered in prison any day now and he’ll be happy when he gets the call, as if they’re having a conversation about literally anything else. How when arlo Does in fact get stabbed in prison raylan goes to his deathbed and asks him to Please tell him who tf drew Thompson is so that his granddaughter can hear stories about how her grandfather wasn’t actually Just a son of a bitch (raylan in his last interaction with his father covertly asking if he ever actually was anything besides a piece of shit, if he actually had something of a heart, if on his fucking Deathbed would he do literally anything for him just Once) but instead arlos dying words to his only child are to kiss his ass. Raylan getting the call that arlo died and he gets upset when Art tries to insinuate they had a relationship to be upset over but the second he’s alone you can see that beat up and confused kid in his eyes because why the Fuck is he actually kind of upset right now?

Arlo got undressed looking at the bruises on his body. He sighed and quickly took a bath. Once done, he grabbed a razor and cut off the pieces of his hair that had been burnt on the little magic duel he had with his brother. It had been years, and Apollo still couldn’t best him at magic.

He stood silently in the bathroom, listening to the banter of Syra and Fannar and sighed. Again he looked up at his reflection, seeing the black marks had returned. He still didn't smell of Rot, but...

It was back.

As long as I don't a heart to sustain this Eye, it will devour what Ihave that it can use. My very spirit. It heals my body because it needs a host, but it knows it's trapped inside a sinking vessel.
