i love the idea that viggo's issue is that he's always overestimating the dragon riders and that's why he loses. other antagonists always underestimate them, they don't put in all the necessary precautions, which allows the riders to slip through, always throwing parties and gloating before the dragon is in the cage. but viggo?

my man takes so many precautions, his entire island is a war base, and yet, and YET the dragon riders got in by dyeing snotlout's hair blonde, giving him gucci boots and naming him sir ulgertorpe, SIR ULGERTORPE. viggo got catfished by snotlout with blonde hair. he's overestimating them so bad that the IDEA of them "just walking in" doesn't even come to mind. he's ready for fire and death to fall from the sky but a one-legged boy pulling a fast one on him breaks his fancy little english brain.

oh i forgot to post abt elts today. its ok. i was busy (<- playing minecraft listening to the new music). anyways. general elts thoughts

this album is deeply striking to me. i feel like to truly appreciate it i need to sit in front of an amp thats loud and bassy. those opening guitar chords (? is that it) are amazing and deeply satisfying and rooted in me. i get goosebumps everytime.

i really enjoy the story as well. when i first heard the concept and getting the info at forst i was a little worried but i think its just very excellent.

on some level i want a call back to this album somehow to fit it into the gizzverse deeper but Eyes’ story ends satisfyingly and doesnt need to be touched. it’s perfect as it is , and its fun to tell people “oh btw they have a cowboy audio book. anyways like to mind fuzz-“

and also i think the phrase although kinda simpel, its really beautiful; Eyes Like The Sky.

Twilight, across camp, throws his head back and starts freaking cackling. [x]
