That weird girl down the road who got hit by a car. Her family moved away shortly after, and the neighborhood’s been quiet ever since… save for the loud roar of a beetle’s engine as it rumbles across baked concrete, of course. The cause of her demise hasn’t truly left us, but we like to think danger as being something of the norm. Thus, the engine’s growl drowns out the sound of her voice, and come next Monday, we will be unable to recall anything about her other than the fact that she’s gone. No matter if she was too young or too odd, she was just one girl… and we have better things to worry about.

i understand what this means but it has raised the question of what evil things ferrets have done. do ferrets normally do evil? are they aware of this, or do their ferret brains not allow them to know their actions are evil? can it truly be called evil if they are unaware?
