I saw that Post about Faker on your blog and I got me thinking about how truly bad of a dad he was like who leaves their 12 year old son to care for his baby brother while his dad plays scientist. This is why I can see Haruto only going to Kaito for things like homework toys and maybe relationship problems when he gets older.

To be fair to Faker, he did it for Hart, although he made a huge mess of it and hurt his kids badly. I also actually feel Hart might genuinely get along with Faker because he's such a sweet boy and wouldn't bear a grudge. I also see Kaito having a solid relationship with Faker too, and as for Faker I feel like he would try very hard to make it up to his sons, and be a dad for them.

But you're right about the relation part. Hart is not telling his dad he likes someone because 1) Faker would be so overprotective 2) DAD JOKES 3) telling Faker would be the quickest way of telling the world because Faker will tell Byron who will tell everyone.
