I made a list of good things that happened to me this year, to remind myself that not everything was bad, despite me finishing 2019 very unsatisfied with myself:

My ankle injury from February healed perfectly, and I retain my almost 25 year streak of not breaking any bone and/or ligament

I got a job, whoo, money.

BEYOOOOONDS finally debuted and just yesterday won the Best New Artist Grand Prix, my babies!

Morning Musume, my favorite idol group, performed in front of their biggest audience ever, in an outdoors music festival, for 50 minutes straight, in the middle of the summer. I am very proud of my stamina monsters.

This year was the tenth year anniversary of me being Facebook friends with my best friend and isn't that a long time

I got to watch the US National Tour of The Book of Mormon

I went to the beach with my cub scouts

My lifelong dream of sightseeing aboard the Turibús came true!

I ate a lot of nice things, shout-out to La Papa Rodante and the prehispanic market stall from Tepoztlán and birria

I fell in love again with reading, after not being able to finish a book in literal years

My eternal search for secondhand Terry Pratchett books got me The Color of Magic, The Light Fantastic, Equal Rites and Mort!!

I didn't make any new friends, but I got to see all of my friends in Mexico at least once, and I felt very loved by all of them

I realized I'm friends with some of the coolest people I've ever met, and that must mean I'm... A bit cool myself, right?

I went to a con with a friend and bought a lot of Haikyuu fanmerch (what will I do with 50 dollars worth of stickers, I haven't decided yet) (I ended up buying Hamilton stickers too, dang)

I bought myself the most stylish glasses I've ever owned omfg am I getting a fashion sense? (No.)

I visited the Natural History Museum and loved it a lot, also the renovations of the defunct MUTEC (soon MUNET) are finally getting somewhere after nearly a decade.

I learned to eat correctly (actually chewing my food instead of inhaling it like the cave goblin we know I am)

I read that one wacky paper about the distribution area of Bigfoot that I haven't been able to stop thinking about since like April, gdi science.

I got drunk for the first time? I'm not sure it counts as a good thing, but it was an Experience. I wasn't drunk enough to get a hangover but I discovered I'm the kind of person who cries a lot and asks people to kiss her when drunk, I'll steer away from too much alcohol from now on.
