Bill: Okay, I have a plan
Mike: We quit school and get married?

Bill: …How would that even help us?
Mike: Married people live longer
Eddie: Statistically, he’s correct

Started a chain-ply as-you-go spin! Fiber is merino, colorway sky gifts by three waters farm (this month's fiber club!).
Going for a twistier yarn than usual. Not spinning with a project in mind. Just enjoying the process.

“I’m going to love her in all the quiet ways, the slow ways, the loud and obnoxious ways. My heart has been moving steadily in that direction since she fell down the steps of a hardware store, right into my arms.”

The losers: *Lost on the road*
Ben: Let's look at Mike’s directions
Eddie: Okay. "I-43 to Highway 60. Head east when it gets different." 'When it gets different.' What the hell does that mean?
Bill: Wait. Let me see that. "Go a ways past the… fancy thing… and turn left at the ugly house."
Stan *sarcastically*: Oh, well, if the "fancy thing's" a dead cow, then we're almost there!

📚 Animal Farm by George Orwell
My high school history teacher told me all through high school that this was her favorite book and that I was missing out by not having read it. Well, I finally read it. I have to say, I disagree with my teacher: I was not missing out. I get that this is a satire, and I understand the point, but I really hated it. And recommending it to high schoolers? What high schooler would understand or like this book? Maybe you know one; I don’t. On the plus side, it was actually a pretty simple read. It’s also blessedly short.
