this took waaaay too long for being a silly riff on a mega-obscure support chain, but here we are. also, hi! I'm alive!

(I'll probably cave and post this to Twitter and Reddit eventually but part of my extended hiatus has been the mental exhaustion watching those two websites get run into the ground by their executives and wondering if I should just jump ship altogether... you were convinced that canas hated you! 

after all, he always snatched away the books you were about to borrow from the library

and he always smiled at you so innocently when he did, as if he was trying to hide what he was doing! 

it was really starting to annoy you, to the point where you had planned to just steal one of his books right before his eyes! 

and when you finally did so, you smiled at him the same stupid way he always smiled at you! 

though that only made the situation worse! 

now the two of you were borrowing books just to keep them away from the other and those books started to pile up in your rooms

one day, canas finally snapped at you in the library, asking you what your deal was and why you hated him so much

it ended up with both of you just throwing accusations at each other and eventually getting kicked out of the library for being so loud

outside, you were forced to calm down a little and you finally mentioned how canas had been the one starting this all, by stealing the books you wanted to read right from under your nose

though canas insisted that he had never meant any harm! he was genuinely interested in those books and had only smiled at you because he had hoped to befriend you

but then things escalated and ended up like this, with both of you banned from the library…

you end up apologizing to canas, feeling pretty stupid now that you realized you had been in the wrong all this time

though canas admits that he wasn't all innocent either

and he suggests that perhaps he could make things up to you by buying you one of those books you were so desperate to read

and maybe you'd even lend it to him afterwards, so that the two of you could exchange thoughts about it…

Unsolicited Tier List on FE Lord/Avatar English Performances

Caveats and Addendums:

Greg Chun's Ike falls in the "Awful" category; this "Great" listing is for Jason Adkins, who voiced him in the original duology.

Subsequently, Lani Minella's Micaiah is in the "Inoffensive" category.

All of the Robin and Corrin VA performances (as there were multiple options in their base games) fall under the categories I slotted them in. This also applies to Lauren Landa's female Robin, as she was not a voice option in Awakening.

Marth actually got an English voice for the 2-Episode FE3 OVA released in 1997, and it was Spike Spencer. He's in the Great Performance category almost out of sheer meme power.

Presumably because of Laura Bailey's increasing star power as a VA, Alexis Tipton replaced her starting with some FEH variants and also voices her in both the OG Warriors and Engage. She fits the "Solid" category.

For anyone who remembers that Chris Niosi initially voiced Male Byleth and was subsequently patched out of both the game and Heroes, he also falls in the Wet Sock category.

Canas

-Canas absolutely ADORES the Summoner. They talk for hours about books and recommend ones to each other.

-You two can often be found siting next each other in the library with books stacked high around you

-He helps with you terms you might not understand

-Sometimes you drag him outside so he can can actually get some sunshine

-You either just walk around enjoying nature or sit and listen to the sounds of life around you.

-This helps to remind him that there not everything can be learned from books. One must also experience to learn.

Linus/Lloyd

-They both hold a respect for you because you share similar morals

-They like telling you about some of their adventures

-Linus’s stories often end up with him talking about Nino

-He gets so proud and happy when talking about her

-Lloyd has to remind him to get back to the original story

-You three can be found sharing a drink together

-Linus jokingly gives you juice the first time because “Someone so important should keep their head clear. What if you’re too hungover to make a decent strategy?”

-If Linus drinks enough, he starts rambling about Nino again

FE disability takes but it's only my favs from the GBA games because I'm biased:

Lugh and Raigh are he/him and she/her autism respectively.

Chad needs lexapro. So does Lucius.

Canas is the most undiagnosed autistic dad I've ever seen.

Nino has BPD and autism just like her sons. :)

Jaffar has SzPD. He also prolly has autism but he straight up does not know nor does he care.

L’archel’s got NPD and autism. (good for her.)

Innes doesn't have NPD, everyone just thinks he does when in reality he just has BPD and a really bad inferiority complex. Also depression. He's just a fucked up little guy.
