An idea I haven't written yet: I have tons, although a lot of them I've technically tossed down a half-scene here or an opening scene there. However - I have two post-S4 VM ideas revolving at least somewhat around Leo that I'm not sure exactly what I want to do with.

The first one, which I'm thinking of using as a jumping-off point for a 'what S5 could have been' fic if I ever get around to it, is that Tina D'Amato stumbles on evidence that a Downs-related organization she's involved with (she might work or volunteer there, or just have a job that puts her in regular contact with them, I'm not sure yet) might be heavily scamming/embezzling under cover of charity/assistance. Feeling threatened and not wanting to disrupt her brother's important undercover assignment, she looks up someone he used to talk about and who she thinks she can trust: Veronica.

The second one is about Leo coming to Veronica with a serious problem - he's involved in an anti-cartel case, investigating a US group that might have ties to XYZ cartel, and even telling her that much could get him in HUGE trouble. But the problem is, he and his partner have a CI who's been infiltrating the group (which is of course the PCH Bike Club), and the CI's sister has just gone missing... under circumstances that suggest he might have killed her. Leo's partner, who was on duty when she was last seen, is adamant that nothing happened and she'll turn up eventually, and that the missing surveillance from the day she disappeared is irrelevant. And he can't take it to the higher-ups for various political and logistical reasons, so he needs someone to look into this woman's disappearance - and that shoves Veronica right in the middle of a very big mess, not least involving her complicated history with Weevil.

Hobbies besides writing: lol

Okay, that's not fair, I read a lot, I watch TV and movies a lot (I just generally really love fiction). I also like history and true crime (although I have a lot of opinions about what kind of true crime is worth consuming, and generally I don't go anywhere near fiction about real crimes unless it's significantly historical), so I like nonfiction on those topics. I also play a lot of games - I like merge and puzzle games on my phone and hidden object or time management on my computer, and also Skyrim, although it's been a while. (Also I like to alphabetize and organize things, and I came up with a bunch of weird ways to gamify that which would probably take too long to explain.) I used to LARP with a fantasy group, but the branch that was running in my location fizzled out. So now I just larp by myself in my brain.

But I am usually thinking about writing or getting ideas for writing or larping my fics by myself, or at least thinking about stories and meta stuff.

Share a fic I'm especially proud of: I'm very happy with my little Jade/Eli fics, but I think for this one it has to be bear your fate on your sleeve, because I carried the idea around in my head for years not thinking I could execute it the way I wanted, but it came out pretty much exactly how I imagined it, if a bit experimental in some parts of the execution (I'm always wondering if I should be clearer about the switch from Nienor to Niniel to Nienor, but hopefully it's self-explanatory). (Shout out to the giant untitled Handir/Beldis oneshot for being the first time I realized I could write a long fic, and Satisfaction for being the first real chaptered fic I've written - I've definitely impressed myself with length and consistency so far!)

5. Artist/band you didn't think would be in your top artists (if any) - Taylor Swift! I listened to her this year, sure, but no more than other artists. I stg spotify weights more popular artists more. I had like 4 Good Lovelies songs on my top 10 and only 1 Taylor Swift song so who knows

6. Oldest song (by release date) - wow I really only listened to recent music this year!! the oldest songs are #99: Rose, 1956 by Waxahatchee and #37: The House that Jack Built by Jesca Hoop, which both came out in 2012

7. Newest song (by release date) - #75: Blue by Billie Eilish, which came out in May of this year

Most streamed month of your top artist (explain if you think/know why) - My top artist was Waxahatchee, and I think I listened to her the most in the spring this year - March and April-ish - because Tigers Blood came out in March, and I got really into American Weekend and Cerulean Salt around April

9. Longest song - I think it's #13: The Coming again, which is 5+ minutes. Upon looking, I seem to have mostly listened to 4-5 minute-long songs this year

10. Favourite lyrics of your #1 song - my #1 song is Buffalo by Hurray for the Riff Raff, and the chorus is my favourite part. I think "Two weeks just to catch the buffalo / two weeks just to catch the buffalo / some things take time, I know they do" has become a sort of mantra for me
