Heyo! So I'll answer the question about the Carrd first. I actually made it myself. I've used a few templates and paid for one early on that I learned how to use the website from. I have a degree in Graphic Design and Digital Communications, and I love designing things like that. It's cathartic and honestly really relaxing to just sit around and let it happen.

What is your favorite trope to write?

I adore the whole " strong character breaking " trope. So many games portray these characters, especially the title characters like Noctis or Clive, as people who can just keep on trucking through some god awful experiences. I'll use Noctis as an example, since 16 is still really new. You get to see him in the movie " Kingsglaive " telling Drautos to keep his father safe. While he will never learn this, Drautos is the one that kills his father, forcing the crown on his head and setting things in motion. We get to see Noctis break a little early on when Cor tells him about his father and Gladio's being dead, and then nothing since then.

The train to Cartanica is not something I consider canon in it's normal iteration, because of poor writing. Yes, Gladio is allowed to be upset and push Noctis a bit. Their strategist is now blind and Lunafreya is dead. From Gladio's perspective, Noctis shut down for seemingly no reason. Meanwhile, Noctis is fighting with the fact that all of this happened because of him.

Ignis is blind because he defended him from Ardyn, or in the more likely explanation given to him, to save his king's life. Lunafreya is dead partially because she was killing herself by healing those infected by the Scourge, and because Ardyn is a dick. Add this to finally getting the ring that they've been hunting down, and guess what?

The thing spends every waking moment whispering to him about how pleased they are to be with him, begging him to put it on, to fufill his destiny, to become one with the kings before him. He's allowed to be despondent.

All this is to say that the title characters tend to be unbreakable, and I like giving them depth and seeing them in ruins.

Do you write fights/battlefields threads?

I do! Not as often as I used to, but I was a moderator for Pledged Prelude and Crystatherum when they were active groups. We had lots of action based events and I helped in writing our Festival of the Hunt event. Besides that, I often find that I want to write out what may have happened in certain fights for my characters.

For example, my single Octopath Traveler muse - Therion. He's 5'3" and all of maybe 100lbs. With wind magic being a thing in Octopath, that poor boy would get thrown around a lot, nevermind that he's considered one of the front line fighters for the game. He's fast and strikes hard, but given his physique and skills, it would be incredibly easy to throw him off a cliff. I've written a few drabbles for asks based on combat situations for him and for Noctis.

What kind of romantic ships do you like? Toxic or fluff?

All kinds. The blog tends to run more on M/M ships because I am a lady and I write exclusively men it seems, but I am open for just about anything. Twilight Link has a ship with @txnichtgut's OC that I adore, Clive has a ship with @cidolfvs' Cid that is far more chaotic than I expected, and Therion has a ship with @asterisque's Alfyn because grumpy boy needs some sunshine.

Each have things in them that I absolutely crave, ranging from conflict to absolutely disgusting fluff and smut on occasion, and I wouldn't ask for anything else.

As for a preference on toxic or fluffy ships, I would have to say that I prefer fluff if only because I haven't had a ship that was truly toxic. Conflict driven and not always easy, absolutely.

Diabolos, my FFXIV character and the Voidsent/Summon from the series, has had a hell of a couple of ships, and is actually my primary poly muse. Dia fights with his spouses more often than not, and with him nigh constantly being used as a weapon for extra content in the game, that doesn't seem to be ending any time soon.

There was one ship I had with a friend that is near and dear to me who is actually writing out the story for our muses that was borderline toxic though. My Final Fantasy VIII OC and her iteration of Cerberus @ettriscapita ( @claireverie is her 'active' blog ) were fun to write!

A sin is nothing more than a sin.

It was very easy to love William. Yes, he was a sinner, and you accepted that, but he was so much more than just that. He was kind and compassionate to a fault, and he helped you find your true voice. With each sin he committed, you found yourself falling deeper in love with him, falling deeper into the darkness that was his world.

“What do you want for your birthday, Will?” you asked as you gazed up at a pair of adoring eyes. 

“I want what I want every day.” His eyes narrowed, and his smile widened, sending heat rushing through your body. Your cheeks already warm, you looked away; one look at his beautiful face, and you’d be lured into his wicked ways.

“Oh, please don't be shy, my dear sweet robin.” He pressed his palm gently against your cheek; your face tilted towards him as you leaned into his touch, your lips quivering as they searched for his. 

He dipped his face to yours, soft lips barely brushed against yours in what dared to be a kiss, his whispered words warm on your skin.

“Tell me what you want.”

Words escaped you as you let out a shuddering sigh. The look of pure, unbridled lust in Will’s eyes as he gazed down upon you was almost too much to bear.

“What do you desire?” he asked again. His body was gracefully poised over yours, close enough to feel his heat radiating through his clothes. His hand curled around yours, threading his fingers through yours.

“Kiss me,” you requested breathlessly, knowing this would only be the beginning of a night of sinful pleasure.

The tender expression that washed over his face told you precisely how happy he was to hear you express your wishes. He pressed his smile against yours, happily granting your desire. As your eyes drifted closed, the sweet scent of roses filled your lungs and Will deepened the kiss, his tongue exploring your mouth.

Your hands moved on their own accord; your fingers, finding the buttons on his shirt, began to clumsily unbutton them, one by one. Will let out a sound, deep and beautiful, once you undid enough buttons to slide his shirt down his shoulder.

Your hand, now on his bare skin, continued to push his shirt away, exposing his back. Breathing him in, savoring the sweet taste of strawberries still lingering on his tongue, you pressed your palm against his flesh, pulling him closer to you. 

Crimson nails crawled up your thigh, pushing the silky material of your skirt out of his way, his fingers pressing into your sensitive skin. A pleased grin graced his handsome face as his hand traveled up your leg until he found your most sensitive spot. You dug your nails into his back, your hands sliding across the wide expanse of fair skin, not caring if you left any marks, gasping when he slid a finger inside you.

He broke the kiss, gently pulling away from you. “Tell me what you want,” he whispered, his blood-red eyes mesmerizing as his thumb stroked your clit, this single touch making you forget everything but him. 

“I want you, Will.” Your voice was soft as you whispered words only for his ears. “I want all of you.”

“Then that is what you shall have.” He shifted his body, his face still close to yours, your legs spreading for him. He slid two fingers inside, slowly stretching you, enjoying the lewd sounds he elicited from your lips. 

You let out a small whimper when he removed his hand, your body immediately craving his. He quickly removed his belt and undid his pants, freeing his erection.

“Don’t take your eyes off of me,” he said as he guided his tip inside you. He covered your mouth with his, swallowing your moans as he pushed inside, slowly stretching your walls. 

“Good girl,” he whispered, his grin wicked as he held your hand in his, bracing himself as he began to rock his body against yours. A maelstrom of emotions brewed in your belly as you allowed yourself to freely indulge in this sinful pleasure. Will filled you with a pleasure so great it could only be good, his piercing gaze never leaving yours. A reminder that he liked to see your adorable face, and you liked to see his. Sliding his hand down your thigh, he guided your leg around his waist, allowing him to penetrate you deeper, your lustful moans melodious to his ear.

“Close your eyes and come for me,” he whispered into your ear, his hand sliding between your legs. Once he found your sensitive spot, his long fingers teased you, coaxing your soft, sweet sounds until you came undone in his hands. “Good girl, just like that,” he praised; you squeezed his hand as your trembling body succumbed to the pleasure he provided, his body soon joining yours in a state of absolute bliss.

You held his head close to your chest, your heart still beating wildly while night's embrace calmed you both. 

“Did you have a good birthday?” you asked quietly, your fingers combing his messy hair. He looked up at you, his crimson gaze tender as he looked at you with adoration. 

“Yes.” He flicked his eyes up to meet yours, his thumb traced light circles on the inside of your wrist, your hands still clasped together. “Maybe my best yet.”

One look at the radiant smile he flashed you, and you knew he had carved this moment on his heart.

“I love you, Will.” You squeezed his hand, not ready to let go. Not today, not any day. 

He pulled your joined hands to his lips and brushed a chaste kiss across your knuckles. “I love you, too,” he whispered back.

One day, the sinner would have to pay for his sins. But that day wasn’t today. And until that day came, you were going to love your sinner until his very last breath.

late night confessions Wally Darling x Reader

Warnings: confessions!!! the L word!!! AHHH!!! a bit of julie slander ahbha! reposted cause tags weren’t and still aren’t working, on the one I was most excited for :’)

although it is not necessary, I highly suggest reading my fics in their recommended order for the best experience! here is the link to all my silly lil wally fics in order. this is #5 :)

The phone ringing late at night allows opportunity to come knocking.

“Hello?”

Who was it calling him at this time of night? Isn’t everyone usually asleep by now? Was something wrong?

“Hi,”

Your voice emitted softly through Wally’s phone.

… Oh?

“... Are you alright?” Wally quizzed, holding his handset between his shoulder and ear. He picked up the base of it, twisting his torso to get a glimpse at the clock. “It’s late,” he mumbled, grasping the phone back in his hand.

“I’m sorry,”

“I don’t mind in the slightest,” he soothed your worries. You went quiet, but Wally gave you the time. He didn’t mind waiting for you. A few moments later, you spoke again. 

“... I couldn’t sleep,” you admitted.

“Ha ha, I think I know how that feels,” Wally jested, earning a giggle from you. The corners of his lips subconsciously tugged upwards a little more at the pleasant sound.

“I suppose I shouldn’t be one to speak, huh? That was insensitive,” you chuckled, apologizing.

“I don’t mind, I’m quite used to it.” He reassured, “What keeps you up though, neighbour?”

Silence fell, until there was a bit of shuffling from your side of the line.

“I’m not entirely sure,” you sighed, seeming distressed. “I just… maybe my brain is being too loud, tonight.”

“Is there something on your mind you’d like to speak about?” Wally took a seat on his arm chair, left leg crossing over top of the right. The phone base rested on his knee, now, his free hand toying with the line.

“I…” your voice trailed off, “I’m not sure, honestly,” you grumbled. “I think…”

“I think I just wanted to hear your voice,” 

Wally gaped, eyes widening. 

His voice? 

He was flattered to hear that. Especially coming from you.

“Wally?” 

You chuckled softly, “sorry, that was probably a strange thing to say, wasn’t it?”

“Not at all,” he spoke quickly. “I’m honoured to hear you say that, neighbour,”

“Okay,” you murmured. 

It went quiet again. Wally picked at a loose thread on the arm of the chair, trying to figure out what to say next.

“Would you mind…”

He paused his movements. Seems you beat him to it. He waited patiently for you to finish your sentence.

“Would you mind, just… talking?” You requested shyly. 

His smile grew a little wider. You’d called him, just to hear his voice? His belly twisted with glee.

“Hmm…” 

Wally thought for a minute, wracking his brain for anything interesting. “Would you like me to talk about anything in particular?”

“Anything,”

“Anything…” Wally repeated, humming. His thoughts drifted back to what Eddie and Frank had told him the other day…

“Simply and utterly, I’ve run out of ways for you to drop hints,” Frank admitted, rubbing his temples. 

“Me too, if I’m being honest,” Eddie chuckled, “I think you’re just at the point where you need to say it, in the way that is the most natural and the most… you,”

“‘The most me’?” Wally reiterated, “how so?”

“Hmm… give them a call, perhaps?” Frank pitched, “That’s very you,”

“Yeah, it’s like how my staple is letters, yours is sorta calls,” Eddie agreed.

“No interruptions this time, too, that’s a guarantee” Frank uttered with a huff, reflecting back on their last plan. Darn Julie…

“Give them a call…” Wally hummed in thought, twiddling his thumbs. “I suppose that could work,”

“But,” Frank raised a finger, “you cannot simply call them and say it out flat. Timing is important!”

“Oh. How will I know when the right time is?”

Frank faltered. “Huh. How do you know when the right time is?” He turned to Eddie.

“Err… I don’t know? I mean, you just feel it, I guess,” he shrugged, hands raised defensively. “That's all I can think of. It just came to me, personally. I just… knew,”

Wally pursed his lips in thought.

Was this that time?

Nerves tangled inside of him like the phone cord around his fingers. 

It felt like it…

He sucked in a deep breath, slowly releasing to calm himself down.

“Can I… confess, something to you, neighbour?”

“Of course you can, Wally. I’m always here if you need me,” 

“... Do you promise?” He murmured softly.

“Cross my heart, always and forever…” you recalled words he’d once said to you. He found his smile twitching upwards a little more, cheeks warming.

“Well,” Wally stood up out his chair, slowly walking to the window. “I have… a secret. One that I’ve been keeping from you, that’s about you. One that I've found to cause me some distress,” he admitted.

“I hope I haven’t done anything wrong,” you fret, your concern clear in your voice.

“No, no, you’ve done nothing wrong at all,” Wally clarified, smiling to himself. Of course that’s where your head went.

“Thank goodness, I was terrified,” you chuckled with relief.

Wally hesitated. How was he meant to do this?

“Sorry, neighbour,” he apologized, realizing he had not said anything for a while. “I’m struggling to find the right words to say it to you,” he sighed.

“Take your time, Wally.” you comforted, “There’s no rush. I’ll be ready when you are,” 

Wally sucked in another deep breath. This was why, he realized, why he felt the way he did about you. Your consideration, your empathy, your patience… everything.

Slowly, he exhaled, letting his eyes fall shut as his body relaxed.

“Your eyes…” He murmured. By instinct, the image of you popped up in his head.

“They rob the words off of my tongue,” 

He heard the hitch of your breath.

“My heart,” He continued, “it sings with euphoria every second you are near,” he pushed out a light, shaky chuckle. “Ha ha… we may as well call it yours, with how full of you it is,”

His eyes drifted to the wall, examining one of his favourite art pieces in his possession. 

“It’s no secret how I enjoy indulging in art quite frequently, and yet, you manage to be the most extravagant masterpiece I’ve come across,” he murmured, voice holding nothing but sincerity, among something else.

“You’re unfathomably endearing. I crave more of you every time we part… that night we spent time together under the stars?”  He stared out the window, into the night, reminiscing back a few weeks to a time he had nearly confessed, only for it to have been ruined by Julie interrupting them. 

“There were so many things I wanted to say to you then. I wanted to tell you that if you asked me to, I’d figure out a way to give you the moon. That, despite the sky full of them above us, you shine brighter than any star up there in my eyes,” 

“And here I am, after all this time, still dancing around the point that I’m trying to get across, ha ha,” Wally’s eyes wandered to his desk, gazing among the disregarded letters laid upon it. Spit it out already, he thought. He’d taken long enough already.

“The truth is, my darling,” he murmured, soft and sweet, squeezing his eyes shut.

“I’m in lo–”

Click!

His heart skipped a beat, eyes shooting back open.

…

The line went dead.

…

“Oh.”

His heart plunged into his stomach. His legs refused to move.

His arm slowly dropped to his side, fingers still tangled in the coiled cord.

… 

He’d been rejected, hadn’t he?

…

What now?

Well, he hadn’t exactly thought this far ahead.

When he had, it wasn’t with an ending like this.

What did he miss?

Despite Eddie and Frank’s assurance that you were returning signs of attraction towards him, he always had a twinge of insecurity in his mind. Maybe he should’ve paid more mind to it.

Had he been too forward? Moved too fast?

It hurt. 

His chest felt tight. His free hand raised, clutching onto the front of his shirt.

It hurt badly.

His body was tingly, and his eyes were beginning to sting. He brushed his fingers against his cheek, meeting with the wetness on them.

“Oh...” He repeated, voice breaking as he slid his back down the wall as his legs gave, sinking to the ground. 

So you hadn't felt the same, after all.

HEY HERE’S MY DISORGANIZED GUIDE FOR SKIN MAKING

You cannot draw a skin outside of the dragon's lineart, so if you wanted to give a gaoler a second pair of wings, you'd have to find out some way to stuff it into the space of the body. People have gotten away with linebreaks before, and if its not obvious it could slip past, but if the skin mods notice: you’re getting denied.

When I do skins I upscale the PSD from 750x750 to 2000x2000, and I use a 3 px brush, as that is the same size as FR's lineart.

There are two folders in the PSD, the bottom one is simply showing all the parts of the dragon, and the top is where you actually draw. I turn off the shadow and line art layers when I draw and don't turn them back on until I'm completely done.

If you want to make an ACCENT, you have to make sure that it is covering less than 31% of the base. You can check the coverage on reSKIN vendrus or Nensec (You cannot link Nensec onsite)

You cannot use colors that are too dark, as they will be denied for the lineart and shadows not being visible. There is a strong possibility that your opinion on what is visible is wildly different from what staff thinks are visible, please get advice from others if you can.

When you're done drawing, I would recommend making a copy of that file, and using the copy to merge all your layers down. When you have them all merged down, clip the lines and shadows onto your drawing. You CAN alter the opacity and color of the lines and shadows, but you MUST make sure its dark enough to be “plainly visible.”

I HIGHLY recommend setting the lineart layer on top of your skin to multiply and coloring it like the shadows.

IF your skin is denied, there is a high chance that the message will be vague. (For example, you will be told that the shadows and lines on your skin are too light, but not specifically where on the skin that its too light)

If an error occurs (Such as submitting the wrong image or messing up the name) you can go to the Skin Problems Thread and request for changes from the skin mods.

The skin queue is HEAVILY dependent on traffic as there are only two skin mods at the moment, but usually you'll get a skin back in a week or so. If a skin takes longer than 7 days to come back, I would go to the Skin problems thread.

It hadn't just been Riko, Reacher, and Johnson that Andrew wanted his pound of flesh from. Monsters are born and Monsters are created and the worst ones are both. Riko was a Monster born and that Monster was only made worse by the environment that he found himself in.

An environment that Tetsuji Moriyama had created and cultivated. An environment that let people like Reacher and Johnson flourish. An environment that let Riko think that he was God when he was down in the dirt with the rooms just like the rest of them.

Andrew didn't lose sleep that Riko caught a bullet. He didn't lose sleep over Reacher and Johnson's fates either.

Hope your journey goes fine and just a request to always go for og content than anything else. Before making any judgement on any member watch the content for yourself. Just in case cause this Fandom is definitely filled with false naratives and i honestly don't trust it most of the times. Just watch Things on ur own and make ur own conclusion. I'm saying this cause over the yrs i have seen so many ppl getting manipulated that whenever i see someone recently got into BTS and is loving jikook i just wonder if over some months or a year I'd see ur turning up against jikook. Months ago i came across a blogger here who started loving jikook cause they had seen jk's lives last year he did for jimin so they got interested, they loved jm and suddenly down the rabbit hole they started following Tkkrs and got completely brainwashed with their narative of comapny hiding TK and hence they're pushing Jkk so they can protect TK cause this theory made sense to this blogger and i even saw them calling jm bitch and what not. Saying he deserves all critisism from other shippers cause he acts that way. Like i don't have any problem with anyone moving to another ship from jikook if they feel there's more to other ship but straight up calling other homewrecker who comes in xyz ship all because of manipulation is really really sad. I really felt bad. And this is not even just a one time thing most of baby armys fall for tkklives (that's a tkkr YouTube channel who makes manipulating videos which portrays jm as homewrecker nd has around 500k subscribers on YouTube. She made that channel 2 days after gcfT when tkkrs needed something/someone to give them a theory that would make sense to them nd tkklives give it to them by manipulating members' words nd since then all of them falls for all her naratives. That's how they are, there was a whole thread of ppl confessing as how they felt for her lies and used to hate jm on twitter) so just be careful be it any ship or any members. Hope ur journey is as lovely as BTS are.

I would love to share how I got into BTS since I haven't mentioned it. Sidenote - I definitely fell into the trap that are tkkrs when I first got into BTS. In my defense it was mainly because of the algorithm and what was most popular when I was trying to find content to watch, and the fact that there are so many comments about them under absolutely everything, that it was hard not to see when first being introduced to them. Fortunately this was roughly around the same time that Tae and Jennie were seen in Paris together holding hands, and I saw in real time what was happening, and the weird ways fans were trying to explain away them clearly being seen together. It made me question a lot of the content I had already consumed, but I won't get too much into that since you're probably not interested in that lol.

As for BTS, I had never consumed any Kpop content before in my life. I had heard of BTS, because duh (they are always trending on twitter), but I actively avoided it. Fast forward, I think to around May 2023, I started watching Physical Season 1 on Netflix (yeah I was late getting into it my bad lol). I'm a person that loves to do research on things that I enjoy haha, so while searching for/watching interviews on Youtube, the algorithm suggested BTS' Mic Drop, I clicked on it, and the rest is history. I was immediately sucked into a rabbit hole of all things BTS, mainly just their music videos at first. And then came Jimin... at first I didn't really get him (again that probably had something to do with all the negative things I saw from tkkrs and the fan content I watched, that at the time I didn't realize were edits), but when I saw Set Me Free and Like Crazy I was completely and utterly blown away. And I was also immediately endeared by Jungkook and his weverse lives. But I just couldn't understand how one group could have this much content and talent. I watched official behind the scenes content, and I just could not believe how hard they were working, and how much of themselves they were giving to fans. Like artists here in the US work hard, but you very rarely see the behind the scenes of the journey, unless they release a documentary. I just could not help but to stan and support them.

As for Jikook, like I mentioned before after the whole tkk thing, I was very anti-ships. I just thought it was all crazy, and refused to believe any of it, and tbh based on again fan edits and perspectives from those in the fandom with way more knowledge than me, it didn't even seem like they liked each other and were the least close members in the group. Fast forward again to whenever Jungkook's weverse live was of him being in his bed practically begging Jimin to do a live with him. Being able to see it in real time, I was like what in the f--- is going on here. This feels crazy flirtatious to me but idk maybe it's just a culture difference that I'm not getting lol. I watched a bunch of other content in full, like JK's live where he spends hours watching Jimin content, and some other stuff in full, and I was like ooooookkkkk while I'm still not completely sure, there might actually be some there there to what some jikookers have been saying this whole time. 😂😅

Hello everyone so this is going to be a pretty big blog about the upcoming future of my life as a artist. So to try to shave off some time I will be copying and pasting the Twitter thread I made to here.

Startiiiing now:

“Hey everyone I got another update for you and it’s probably gonna sound like “she’s changing shit again” but I feel like a lot has been going on in my life and a lot of it is changing too and I think I discovered something about me and my artwork that I feel like is important.

The reason I started pumping out content before this new job I got was well after I lost my old caregiving job YouTube and commissions were my only source of income for the last 6 month and I honestly was making enough for bills at that point it was my family keeping me afloat.

So yeah, life was not kind to me and I got.. well extremely depressed. I kept applying and no one was accepted them the one job I wanted I did not get and I was lucky to just get by. My brain all the time for the past few months kept saying I was a failure Until I got lucky.

I just got done with shadowing and orientation and I’m now officially working at a job that yeah can be stressful but I fully enjoy. I’m feeling happy and I’m finally healing from this dark cloud that’s following me. And with this month coming to an end I realized something.

Growing up my art was the one thing that kept me happy it was my happiness from real life issues and it got me to meet the love of my life along with great people in online community’s. However, the more it became a stressor to live off my art… the less it made me happy.

Not to mention the reason I shared my art to begin with because even if it was cringe or my art was not the best in the past … I always loved to see people enjoy it. It killed me to ask people to give me money to draw for them. It’s just not me.

I allowed a online algorithm, and a few words from a small handful of people to make me second guess what I loved to do, I allowed money to make me decide what I should work on…I realized I secretly hated myself for it.

This new opportunity in my life is why I’m writing what I am today and it’s my own choices and it’s one I’m actually happy with.

Everything I draw will be free to view I’m going to build it up on Tapas and Tumblr just for the multiple image support plus they have better age restriction on there platforms because I’m a adult and do want to dabble in NSFW stuff.

The one animation I have on sale in my store I will be making it free to view. For the amazing person who did buy the pack I will be dming them so once my paycheck comes, they will be refunded.

And now for the big thing.

The next few months I will be saving my own money and working on Concept Art for the next few months along with working on comics because by next year I want to work and pay people to help me bring my comics to life as animated projects.

The first project will more then likely be Jackie’s Everyday Adventure because it has the least amount of characters and backgrounds and will dabble in the form of 3D animation. This will be a strictly animated series with some rewrites from the original comic version.

Homebrew… is honestly the biggest project since there is over 30 chapters and I’m not even halfway done writing scripts. I won’t Even considering working on animating that until at least chapter 10 is out.

Everything else will be explained over on Tumblr that will be where I blog about my projects since there’s not as tiny of a character limit on there. Thank you all for reading this and I will link the full update on Tumblr and I will share a link to it on here.”

The only thing I will be keeping for any financial support will be Ko-fi but that’s only if people want to, I’m not going to have anything locked behind a pay wall.

Commissions will no longer be open because I will just be doing art trades or request. Since my new job is full time I don’t need to worry about the stress of not finishing something quickly.

Physical print books are still gonna be a thing however not for a long while. Since my old client liked my original books ill be printing a small handful of copies of them so I can give them to her to read at the nursing home. And leftover copies will be for contest prizes.

YouTube on the other hand… I’m going to be honest I’m not sure if I truly will bring back Pshattuckproductions. The most fun I have had with YouTube was building up lunar comics. I will honestly be focusing on that channel in terms of any uploads.

Free art threads.

Made a couple of these in the past, and I'm actually considering just.. not doing them on this site anymore? I actually think I'd be better off doing free art for people on Toyhou.se instead.

So I'm sure some of y'all are familiar with the "Creative Corner" in the forums, yeah? You can share random art you've made, ask people how much they'd pay for your art, that sort of thing. Then, you got the free art threads. They can be titled things like "Drawing ur dragons :33" and "bored, draw humans. bye." and you'll also see the same couple users posting in those threads, but I'm not here to name-drop lol.

The ones who I have a problem with are the ones who don't read anything. Like, at all. You could spend thirty minutes crafting a decent looking thread, filled with information (but not TOO much, just enough to answer most people's questions) and highlight the "rules" part of your thread that has specific steps to follow for free art. Wanna know what the majority of the commentors on your thread are gonna do?

"[Insert dragon image] Pls draw :)" or "[Link to a page with over 60+ dragons] choose whatever one you want.]" and that's about it. There won't be any mention of any steps you wanted them to follow, (The steps are usually very simple, too. As in, let the artist know the bare minimum idea of what you want. I'm talking about expressions here. That's literally all they'd have to do to get some scrumptious free art.) and that feels kinda invalidating, y'know?

I'm not asking the commentors to describe a whole scene for me, I'm just asking them to give me ONE LITTLE IDEA (again, an expression or maybe if they want a bust) and I'll do the rest for them, free of charge. The art that they'd be getting isn't some random disaster of a sketch, nono, it's fully-colored and shaded. It also doesn't look like something that a 5 year old drew. (No shade to people who draw like that, I was stuck like that for years.) Bro, just do a MINIMAL amount of reading and I'll draw your dragon that has an absurd amount of apparel to tje point where it hurts my eyes.

..It doesn't just stop there, either. I've also seen these people never reply to artists who have given them an absolute masterpiece of a drawing, for free. Bro. You serious? I get that some people are inactive, which I'm not bothered by. But the ones who aren't? ...Ehh, I just think you could at least thank the artist before returning to the void with your free art.

The moral of the story is; Do the bare minimum and read what matters in a post, and thank the artists who draw your dragons for free. Especially the ones who could've easily charged you 1kg+ for the work they've done.

If you're socially awkward, then cool. I get that. If you can't afford to pay artists with fictional pixel money, then go ahead and visit the free art threads. I'm not trying to gate-keep them, I literally make these threads. I just don't enjoy having people put zero effort in their requests and then never acknowledge the fact that I drew their dragon for them. Just my thoughts, everyone views things differently and that's okay!

Btw, I mentioned Toyhou.se because I've posted on both before, and while there are SOME similarities in the users' behavior, there's also some notable differences, too.

Obviously there are some differences in the sites which affect how the users act, I get that. One's a literal dragon collecting game and the other one's focused on writing and drawing characters, it's expected that one would read more than the other.

...But again, free art. Not paid, but free. Someone takes time out of their day to draw your dragon. Just give them a simple "thanks" and go on your merry way. That's all you gotta do. Lets them know their effort was appreciated, and shows that you're a nice person. Win-win.

Please man, just read. Did I mention that these threads usually have a maximum of 100 words? I don't usually type this much. But damn, this just irritated me so much.

Well, that's the end of this rant. Like I said, a few people are obviously going to disagree with some/maybe everything I've said, and that's life. This was a disorganized rant, and that's all it's going to be.

my MDA:Rain Code thoughts - spoiler version

I saw a few other people posting their thoughts on the game which got me thinking `damn, i want in on that` so here we are!

not really sure if i should call this a review or what, but its certainly my thoughts and opinions on the game a couple weeks after finishing the game. [i would've done it sooner but imma bit of a procrastinator so shhh]

my overall opinions: Despite some issues, Rain Code acts as a great foundation that can be built upon in the future - along with plot threads that can be used in future games. If your a danganronpa fan I would totally recommend it, but its a bit of a harder sell to those outside the bubble.

this was originally going to be all my thoughts about the game in one post but i got too crazy and wrote too much and i dont think i could divide it up without it being jank, so this will be purely anything spoiler related. The spoiler free version is linked here!

Anywaaaay, with the preamble done, onto the main event!!

I've tried to put this into some kinda order so its not completely incomprehensible, it will start with gameplay then transition to story and then characters.

Mystery labyrinths can be extremely boring inbetween the all the different minigames - consisting of running to the next part whilst the characters discus the case. At these moments it feels as if Kodaka is still trapped within the dangan class trial formula. One thing that was able to spice up the labyrinths was that there would be differences in design, like in chapter 2 when we were running in a school or chapter 5 in which we ran through a version of kamasaki district.

However, due to not being confined to killing game rules and having access to supernatural abilities, kodaka was able to do some interesting things with investigations and cases that just wouldn't be possible within any of the danganronpa games. I found most cases to have a really interesting trick to them, with the only exceptions to that being chapter 3 with icardi and chapter 1 with the priest and worshiper situation - though icardis is the only one i dislike It was sooo dumb. The locked room recreation in chapter 1 was a fun mechanic and i enjoyed walking though how it was each locked room was done. Chapter 4's investigation was really inventive and unique, though the ghost obstacle course felt very shoehorned in - specially since we only do it once.

Having the requests was a great move as they acted as a way to flesh out the world of kanai ward without bloating the main story. Though optional, i do recommend playing through some as they are able to give the average persons views about the city and the occurrences in it. I also found a some memorable, whether it was because they were silly or meaningful. The crimson rain cult one sticks out for me purely on how wacky it was, another was about the survey which adds so much to the people and how they feel about Amaterasu Corp

The weakest point in the game is Chapter 3, both the story and mystery/gameplay of it were lacking when compared to literally any other chapter. It seems to be a curse kodaka is under and will seemingly never be freed from

on the other hand, I'm going to have the lukewarm take that the best chapter - at least storywise - is chapter 4. Can't really comment on the mystery as its been a while since i've played it but i remember a sense of forbording during the mystery labyrinth as i progressed i sorta figured out it was yakou but i kept thinking to myself no, it can't be. I was coping hard. AND SHINIGAMI AT THE END UEGHHH

Chapter 2 had a great story, characters and motives but it was completely ruined for me by how desuhiko and shinigami acted throughout the chapter. Whenever i think of it all I can think of is those two acting like buffoons >:(

WHO KNEW THE PINK BLOOD WAS GONNA BE A PLOT POINT?! genuinely shocking and its of my belief that if you had not played or are at least familiar with the danganronpa franchise, it won't hit as hard as it is ment to - and im feel a little bit of sympathy for those people. Danganronpa has desensitised and normalised fans to pink blood so it becomes a plot point no one predicts. Even then, in chapter 1 yuma says stuff like "thats not a manaquin?" and "is that blood?" in reaction to the corpse which at the time can brushed of with this is his first time seeing a non-burnt corpse. Retrospectively however...... yeah

also...... I KNEW THE MEAT BUNS WERE FUNKY I KEEEEEEW ITTTT. But seriously, the set up to the reveal was well done - meat buns were talked about often enough that it was strange and was something to take note of but nothing more than that. I'm not one to feel disgust with media but man the cannibalism reveal upseat my stomach a little so congrats kodaka for your good writing i guess??

I don't know if im dense or what but the No.1 reveal came out of nowhere for me. Or if i did twig it i brushed it of and went nahh, thats to easy and then forgot about it

The whole `real yuma kokohead` reveal could've been set up soooo much better than it was. We see this caped guy what 3, 4 times and then BAM REVEAL hes the REAL yuma that we stole the identity of!!. It was kinda underwhelming and could've easily been rectified by running into him more often or to have a request looking into a creepy caped guy or to visit the new ramen shop that got set up

with the makoto/yuma homunculus thing, i felt it could've fallen either way and is another great plot twist from the game, enough is hinted - specially if you take into account that the concept of homunculi had just been revealed and in both of their profiles, the same height and weight is listed.

The overall homuculus plot was set up somewhat well, though i guess it could feel shoved in your face in chapter 5, but then again thats just final kodaka chapter procedure. What i do like about the set up was in chapter 4 when questioned makoto states that "theres no immortal monsters in this city!!" but makoto has stated multiple times before that he loves the people of this city, so why would he call them monsters? in fact, this whole thing is what led me to theorise that the people were in fact homunculi

Makoto is such a breath of fresh air when it comes to kodaka's villains/ danganronpa's villains. The fact that he acknowledges what he has done and knows that it's bad but can't see any other possible way to help the people he loves. An important factor to this is that he is No.1's homunculus and because of this hates mysteries but to save the people of kanai ward he had to create mysteries on top of mysteries. What i also enjoyed was slowly unraveling the extent of makoto's influence and seeing just HOW powerful this man is, realising that hes been playing 4D chess from the start. That the rough outline of events were planned out by him, with him taking direct control of the case of chapter 4. Man, makoto's for sure has more interesting motives than junko ever did - but then again, i see them as having two different roles. Junko is a great villain cause shes just insane.

other than that, i found the peacekeepers to be a little disappointing. They did what they were needed to but most are susceptible to leaving little impression on people. Which is not good as they are your major obstacle in a chapter. the majority of them have under 30~ mins of screen time [that is a rough estimate, most likely im wildly wrong] though they didn't need to have backstories or anything, them being a constant presence through investigation might've helped. Like martina in chapter 2

I, personally, am in the shinigami fan camp -though it is certainly in a despite chapter 2 kinda way. If you take into consideration that the termination of the contract would lead yuma to forget her, of course she would act obnoxious and mean. She, in the end, does not want yuma to hurt emotionally. And she even says in chapter 5 he should be ranting and raving about how hes glad shini is leaving. Shinigamis been through this countless times and knows how this will end, it makes her character tragic in a way. Also, the moments in which she turns serious are notable for me as they seem to display how old she is, and for me at least, act as times in which she metaphorically sit down with yuma to say `hey, I know this is bad but it is how it is and I believe that you can get through this`

006 : regarding call out posts, DNIs, and messaging people about “toxic” mutuals – i 100% your respect your right and experience and choice to keep your dash a safe space for yourself, but i believe in two/three sizes to every story and i prefer to develop my own opinions about people. i do tag urls on all my replies to make blacklisting easier for those that need it and i respect all my mutuals enough to never talk negatively about them behind their back, so if you message me trying to spread anything but basic information ( like hey here’s what my experience with this person was, it wasn’t great ) you’ll likely be blocked because i don’t want to be put in the middle of drama that has literally nothing to do with me. the only time i do anything other than that is when someone is genuinely harmful and i feel that interacting with them is going to bring YOU more harm than good. i value every one of my mutuals' well beings.
